The objectives of this study is to analyze the curriculum based on the hypothesis of bodyguarding related department and to research the differences of the amongthree groups of public bodyguarding, private bodyguarding and bodyguarding professors with its significance in order to establish the development of direction in education curriculum for bodyguarding related departments at university level,For this purpose, this study categorized the sample group into three kind and surveyed them, Those are public bodyguarding members, private bodyguarding member, and the professors and 121 samples were selected in those three with the help of self-admistrated method, which is one of the sampling methods, First, among the current bodyguarding related theoretical disciplines significant differences among groups was presented by the evaluations on bodyguarding science, traffic safety management, fire extinguishing, secretary science, administration, psychology, sports education, sport physiology, jurisprudence and philosophy, which showed differences among groups through the multiple comparison, But there was no significant difference among the means of the groups concerned with the other curriculum, We could know that more curriculum is needed to facilitate the private bodyguarding in disciplines and system of the current theory in this study. For it is predicted the demand for the private bodyguarding will increase continuously in the future. for which we should prepare. Thus it is required to increase the theoretical curriculum of the private bodyguarding. That is. the models of curriculum like introduction to machinary guarding. introduction to communication. computer theory and so on are required to be established. In addition to that. it must be noticed that the current private bodyguarding is not guaranteed by the legitimate institution. But the private bodyguarding is related to the police service. thus the curriculum of jurisprudence and police science should be studied together.
School violence is now considered not only as a problem for a victim and a offender themselves, but also as a social problem that requires responsibilities of school, home, society, and even nation. Crimes and risk factors are various inside and outside of school. In terms of solving those problems, this study examines the actual condition of school violence among students. In addition, it is considered what efforts are conducted by police to establish a safe school environment and the problems that derive from it. Futhermore, this study aims to discuss the ways of using the private security with regard to dealing with school violence. In this society, the expectation of security service from the police is increased as time passed. However, police has limited resources, thus it is beyond their practice. Policing has changed from being monopolized by government to cooperating with various security agents. Community is not considered as the subject for enforcing the law anymore, but as the cooperator for effective policing. With regard to the limitation of police force, using the private security is an effective alternative. Therefore, it is required that private security should be assigned legal authority and shared information with schools in order to patrol the blind spot. Finally, school violence prevention efforts should be conducted by applying physical and electronic security.
It has been long time since the social concern about school safety was fully raised in our country. The accidents, such as sexual violence against young children, traffic accident when going to and from school, psychological violence by bullying, extorting money & violence and so on, frequently happen. Under the circumstances that this kind of school safety problems are concerned greatly by society, it is very important for schools to create the environment in which children can have a safe living. The study focuses on the necessity and introduction of a professional school police system to establish the sexual violence prevention system in advance. The system, practically and systematically organized, can prevent various kinds of safety accidents and form the agreement of family, regional society, and related institutions alike. It is also supposed to emphasize the strengthening of school safety by its operation.
With the government policy on converting contract workers to full-time employees, there have been significant changes about the security personnel at the nation's critical facilities, including the National Assembly Building and airports. Moreover, the scheduled disbandment of the conscripted police force in 2023 has raised concerns about security management at different government agencies. To examine the college students' perceptions on the possible alternatives to fill the expected security gap, 234 undergraduate students of security management and protection in the Seoul metropolitan region were surveyed. Particularly, a comparative analysis was conducted on the legal bases and supervision, the employment types and salaries, and the scopes of responsibility and authority of suggested alternatives were compared. The results showed that utilization of private police forces was thought to be the most effective option. Based on the research findings, the university departments should develop and maintain a quality curriculum to educate their students to be prepared security professionals with a focus on emergency response capabilities and martial arts, including the courses on private police law and emergency rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Modern society often faces 3Cs:change, competition, and customer. The main issue of today's police science study, therefore, circles around how public police effectively cope with the radically changed environment. As one of the workable and appealing policy tools to reform the police, the privatization has been not only strongly supported in terms of a theoretical study, but also widely used in practice all over the world. However, Policing has been widely regarded as an exclusively public-sector activity conducted by sworn officer, but a large and increasing share of the aggregate demand for public safety and security is being handled by the private sector. This study examines on the very practical one, how contracting out, most widely used as the privatization alternatives, is perceived and put into practiced in the field of traffic police services. This study is intended to examine recent shifts toward privatization of traffic policing. Although some people regard police services as inappropriate for privatization, most everyone else have persuasively considered that many police services are not public goods or, at least, not pure public goods. We can consider that there are three types of privatization with respect to traffic policing, that is, user-financed police services, contracting out, and some degree of service shedding. As society changes, so must traffic policing. And it is needed to enhance the ability of traffic police and private to accomplish their primary mission, to serve and protect the public.
The counter-terrorism in Korea should be approached practically divided both internally and externally. However, in reality it is impossible for the military and the police to control all the counter-terrorism. So there is a need of precaution using the partnership with private companies. But the military and the police have stressed the conservative and closed operation. Furthermore, the focus of counter-terrorism in Korea is more on expose facto treatment than prevention, so they are almost the defenseless. In order to solve this problem, we should form the private subcontractors of the counter-terrorism experts. That is the introduction and the application of PMSCs system. First, the military and the police need to change its mind set for the partnership with private companies to prepare appropriateness. Second, it should be built up infrastructure to let the hands-up workers on counter-terrorism out place. Third, it should be set up the institutions of learning to train regularly to applicate PMSCs system and to specialize. Fourth, the training of counter-terrorism should be made it mandatory about exit passengers to danger zone. Fifth, the selection of PMSCs suitable for counter-terrorism should be strict.
There are various discussions about introducing private investigation in South Korea these days, and training private investigators is one of the main topics. Training private investigators, unlike other training, is required to instill expertise and ethical quality into the trainees since the major task of the investigators includes protecting the lives of the citizens as well as their properties. Therefore, many agree to the idea that systematic educational programs need to be organized to produce private investigators with expertness and morality. In this study, we explored the opinions of those who are concerned with this issue of establishing private investigation in the university education and analyzed the data by using the NVivo 2 program. The result revealed that the reasons that people supported the idea of launching private investigator services were as follows. First, there is lack of manpower to maintain peace and public order in the country. Second, the police does not intervene actively and help harmed victims unless it is a consequential incident. Third, in position to wield public power, police officers cannot get involved in civil affairs. Also, absence of an academic institution to educate private investigators and lack of the police and clients' trust in private investigation were the two biggest reasons that people approved the proposal to introduce department of private investigation in universities. The interviewees of the study believed the outlook and future direction for private investigation would change depending on the status of the licensed private investigation business bill. Before the bill passes, they thought that the work of private investigators will be performed by insurance companies, foreign private investigation businesses, domestic consulting firms, and security providers which supply similar services. On the other hand, after the bill passes, they believed that numerous private investigator corporations resembling existing security corporations will be founded in addition to the current market, and that private investigation in the academic field will also be vitalized.
The purpose of this study was to examine the types and state of the private sector's cooperative activities for public peace and order and any problems with it in an effort to step up the revitalization of police-college collaborative efforts for public security by allowing police studies majors and security science majors to participate in crime prevention activities for which the police was responsible in each local community. What problems might possibly take place if police studies majors and security science majors would be involved in crime prevention activities was investigated by making a qualitative analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: First, more human resources and equipment should be offered, as the shortage of the two was pointed out as one of problems with the police itself. Second, how to cope with accidents that might occur if police studies majors and security science majors would take part in crime prevention activities should carefully be studied. Third, it should first be carried out at college to improve an ability to properly respond to diverse situations on the spot.

Therefore, this study explore, extention possibility of Open Position System in Korean police.
The purpose of this study is to suggest legalization of private investigation system by giving an example of Japanese detective investigation on people who have been missing for a long time. To accomplish the research purpose, this study reviewed literature and used preceding researches on Japanese detective system to complete theoretical background. This study also identified the missing people in Korea and Japan to accomplish the research purpose. Conclusion: In Japan, about 80,000 people are reported to be missing every year. Although most of them are found on that day or within a week, some of them are not found for more than a week. There even a case where the person was missing for more than 3 years. In such case, the Japanese citizens requests detectives to find the missing person instead of depending on the police. When Japanese detectives are paid by their client, they provide the security service requested by the client. Japanese detectives receive about 100,000 yen to 700,000 yen for finding missing person and they find the missing person through investigation on voluntary or involuntary missing person. Such activities of Japanese detectives point out the necessity of introducing private investigation system in Korea. Currently, most missing people are not found in Korea. Introduction of private investigation system will help in finding the missing person, reducing the excessive workload of police, and creating jobs.
