  • We study in this note rings whose prime radicals are completely prime. We obtain equivalent conditions to the complete 2-primal-ness and observe properties of completely 2-primal rings, finding examples and counterexamples to the situations that occur naturally in the process.

  • In this paper, we propose a prime code and a new cryptographic algorithm for encryption and decryption as its application. The characteristics of prime numbers with irregular distribution and uniqueness are used to generate the prime code. Based on the prime code, an encryption algorithm for secret key is presented. Since the algorithm requires simpler operations than existing encryption such as DES, the burden for hardware implementation of the encryption and decryption process is alleviated.

  • In this note we study the prime radicals of formal power series rings, and the shapes of them under the condition that the prime radical is nilpotent. Furthermore we observe the condition structurally, adding related examples to the situations that occur naturally in the process.

  • A technique is illustrated for the selection of basis rows from a cyclic prime implicant table. This technique is more systematic and effective than a trial and process, and the results of this technique agree well with the ones solved by Gimpel's Luccio's reduction technique.

  • In this study, 3" × 3" NaI(Tl) detector, which is widely used in gamma spectroscopy, was modeled with FLUKA code, and calculations required to determine the detector's energy resolution were reported. Photon beams with isotropic distribution with 59, 81, 302, 356, 511, 662, 835, 1173, 1275, and 1332 keV energy were used as radiation sources. The photon pulse height distribution of the NaI(Tl) without influence of its energy resolution obtained with FLUKA code has been converted into a real NaI(Tl) response function, using the necessary conversion process. The photon pulse height distribution simulated in the conversion process was analyzed using the ROOT data analysis framework. The statistical errors of the simulated data were found in the range of 0.2-1.1%. When the results, obtained with FLUKA and ROOT, are compared with the literature data, it is seen that the results are in good agreement with them. Thus, the applicability of this procedure has been demonstrated for the other energy values mentioned.

  • Labeling schemes which don't consider about frequent update in dynamic XML documents need relabeling process to reflect the changed label information whenever the tree of XML document is update. There is disadvantage of considerable expenses in the dynamic XML document which can occurs frequent update. To solve this problem, we suggest prime number labeling scheme that doesn't need relabeling process. However the prime number labeling scheme does not consider that it needs to update the sibling order of nodes in the tree of XML document. This update process needs much costs because the most of the tree of XML document has to be researched and rewritten. In this paper, we propose the prime number labeling scheme with sibling order value that can maintain the sibling order without researching or rewriting the tree of XML documents.

  • The Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) system is a digital broadcasting standard designed for use in the LF, MF and HF bands of the broadcasting bands below 30 MHz. The system provides both superior audio quality and improved user services / operability compared with existing AM transmissions. In this paper, we propose a variable point Prime Factor FFT design method for Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) system. Proposed method processes a various size IFFT/FFT of Robustness Mode on DRM standard efficiently by composing Radix-Prime Factor FFT Processing Unit of form similar to Radix-4 by insertion of a variable Prime Factor Twiddle Factor and Garbage data. So, we improved limitation that cannot process 112/176/256/288 FFT of each mode of DRM system with a existent Radix Processor and increase memory size and memory access time for IFFT/FFT processing by software processing in case of implementation with a existent high speed DSP.

  • In this paper, we first show the weak convergence of the modified Ishikawa iteration process with errors of two total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, which generalizes the result due to Khan and Fukhar-ud-din [1]. Next, we show the strong convergence of the modified Ishikawa iteration process with errors of two total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings satisfying Condition ($\mathbf{A}^{\prime}$), which generalizes the result due to Fukhar-ud-din and Khan [2].

  • The flame quenching process has been employed to modify the surfaces of commercial marine propeller material, aluminum bronze alloy (Cu-8.8Al-5Ni-5Fe), and the microstructure, hardness and wear properties of the flame-quenched layers have been studied. The thermal history was accurately monitored during the process with respect to both the designed maximum surface temperature and holding time. The XRD and EDX analyses have shown that at temperatures above $T_{\beta}$, the microstructure consisting of ${\alpha}+{\kappa}$ phases changed into the ${\alpha}+{\beta}^{\prime}$ martensite due to an eutectoid reaction of ${\alpha}+{\kappa}{\rightarrow}{\beta}$ and a martensitic transformation of ${\beta}{\rightarrow}{\beta}^{\prime}$. The ${\beta}^{\prime}$ martensite phase formed showed a face-centered cubic (FCC) crystal structure with the typical twinned structure. The hardness of the flame-quenched layer having the ${\alpha}+{\beta}^{\prime}$ structure was similar to that of the ${\alpha}+{\kappa}$ structure and depended sensitively on the size and distribution of hard ${\kappa}$ and ${\beta}^{\prime}$ phases with depth from the surface. As a result of the sliding wear test, the wear resistance of the flame-quenched layer was markedly enhanced with the formation of the ${\beta}^{\prime}$ martensite.

  • Dust collecting performance of axial-vane type cyclone for oil mist was analyzed in this study. For predicting cut diameter size of cyclone, the number and angle of vane ($tan{{\beta}_2}^{\prime}$) was simulated by CFD. As the result, $tan{{\beta}_2}^{\prime}$ was decreased as the number of vane was increased and the angle of inclination(${{\beta}_2}^{\prime}$) decreased, and it cause strong swirl flow. Therefore, it could be confirmed that as the number of vane was increased and the angle of inclination was decreased, cut diameter size was decreased. Also, by verifying the results of CFD through experiment, the cut diameter size could be $2{\mu}m$ at $4m^3/min$ of flow rate.
