PSP를 이용한 15° 반와류 홀과 30-7-7 팬형상 홀의 막냉각 효율 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on the Film Cooling Effectiveness of 15° Angled Anti-Vortex Hole and 30-7-7 Fan-Shaped Hole Using PSP Technique)

  • The various film cooling hole shapes have been proposed for effective external cooling of gas turbine blade. In this study, the film cooling effectiveness by three different hole shapes (cylindrical hole, $15^{\circ}$ angle anti-vortex hole, 30-7-7 fan-shaped hole) were examined experimentally. Pressure Sensitive Paint (PSP) technique was used to measure the film cooling effectiveness. The coolant to mainstream density ratio was 1.0 and three blowing ratios of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 were considered. Results clearly showed that the effect of hole shape on the distribution of film cooling effectiveness. For the cylindrical hole case, the film cooling effectiveness decreased remarkably as the blowing ratio increased due to the jet lift off. Because of large hole exit area and low coolant momentum, the 30-7-7 fan-shaped hole case showed the highest film cooling effectiveness at all blowing ratio, followed by the anti-vortex hole case.

코안다 효과를 이용한 평판 슬롯의 막냉각 성능 향상 (Improvement of Film Cooling Performance of a Slot on a Flat Plate Using Coanda Effect)

  • In this study, the Coanda effect inducing bump was applied to improve the film cooling effectiveness on the flat plate with $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ angled rectangular slots. The slot length to width ratio was 6. A cylindrical cap shaped structure, called Coanda bump, was installed at the exit of the slot to generate Coanda effect. The width and height of the bump was 10.5 mm and 1 mm, respectively. The film cooling effectiveness was measured at the fixed blowing ratio, M=2.0, using pressure sensitive paint (PSP) technique. The mainstream velocity was 10 m/s and the turbulence intensity was about 0.5%. Results showed that the film cooling effectiveness for case of $30^{\circ}$ angled slot was higher than that of $45^{\circ}$ angled slot. It was found that there was no positive effect of Coanda effect on the overall averaged film cooling effectiveness for the $30^{\circ}$ angled slot. On the other hand, for the $45^{\circ}$ angled slot, the film cooling effectiveness was improved with the installation of the Coanda bump.

  • 산업과 기술이 발전하면서 점점 더 향상된 기능과 성능이 우수한 접착제를 요구하고 있다. 고무수지의 장점, viscoelastic 한 점을 이용하고 단점을 보완하기 위하여 반구조 형태의 점착 접착제를 개발하였다. 또 용매를 이용하지 않아 요즈음에 문제가 되는 환경에도 부담을 줄이는 친환경성 점착제라 할 수 있다. 한편에 epoxy functional group과 다른 한편에 hydroxyl functional group을 함유하고 있는 poly(ethylene/butylene)과 한편에 hydroxyl functional group를 가지고 있는 poly(ethylene/butylene)에 UV 개시제를 이용하여 interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) 구조를 형성하고 여기에 점착 부여 수지로써 hydrocarbon resin을 첨가하여 고온에서 고무 수지가 갖고 있는 단점을 보완하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 아크릴 접착제의 물성에 대한 주 모노머의 영향을 비교하기 위하여 2-ethylhexyl acrylate 대신에 butyl acrylate를 사용하여 acrylic acid와 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate의 공중합체를 합성하고 2종의 경화제를 이용하여 접착 물성을 연구하였다. 선형의 측쇄사슬을 가진 butyl acrylate계 점착제는 가지형태의 측쇄를 가진 2-ethylhexyl acrylate계 접착제에 비해 낮은 접착특성을 보였다. 경화제의 경우 가교점이 많고 가교반응을 통해 유연한 ether나 ester그룹을 생성하는 epoxy형 경화제에서 우수한 물성을 보였고 관능기인 산의 농도가 높을수록 접착특성이 향상되는 것을 관찰하였다.

  • This paper presents sensitivity analysis results of strain on notches under cycling loading to 2-D finite element density considering plasticity. Cylindrical notched specimens having some stress concentrations were modeled with 2-D axisymmetrical finite element having various finite element densities. Elasto-plastic finite element analysis was performed for the various finite element models subjected to cycling loading considering plasticity. The finite element analysis results were compared to investigate sensitivity of the finite element analysis variables such as von-Mises effective stress, accumulated equivalent plastic strain, and equivalent plastic strain to 2-D finite element density. As a result of the comparison, it was found that the accumulated equivalent plastic strain is more sensitive than the others whereas the von-Mises effective stress is much less sensitive.

노인 친화적 감성용 욕조 대안에 대한 노인 소비자의 요구 및 평가 (A Survey on the Aged Consumers' Needs for an Elderly Friendly and Sensitive Bathtub Alternative)

  • This study finds out the aged consumers' needs on the developing elderly friendly and sensitive bathtub. This bathtub focuses on enhancement of multi-senses and enhancement of health, safety & convenience during bath. The enhancing multi-senses would have four functions; therapy with color and aroma, the massage with micro water bubbles, the visual and auditory with TV & cinema, and the auditory with music and radio. Also, enhancing others of bathtub would have seven functions; emergency bell, blood-pressure check system for health condition, water temperature indicator, keeping water warm, reading a book in that, and controlling of house entrance door and a getting the phone during bath. The aged consumers' needs find throughout a questionnaire survey, and 497 data was analyzed. The main results are as follow. They consider a full bath behavior as a healthcare. They have an intention to purchase or use the elderly and friendly bathtub, and they prefer using it in common facilities to using it at home. They highly need health related function of bathtub, which are massage (64.4%), blood-pressure check system (55.1%) and aroma therapy (45.7%). The emergency bell (67.0%), keeping water warm (62.2%), and water temperature indicator (49.7%), related to safety & information function of bathtub, are needed. Also, they think tolerance for error and low physical effort in bathtub design alternative, opening door and inside sitting support, to be important.

지실혈에서 지압의 방향에 따른 압통 역치의 변화 (Changes in the Pressure Pain Threshold by the Direction of Acupressure on Jisil(BL52))

  • 목적: 경혈 지압에서 모든 혈의 가압 방향은 통상적으로 수직 방향이다. 그러나 지실혈(BL52)에서는 수직 방향이 배꼽 부위를 향하는지 몸통의 중심을 향하는지 명확하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 30명의 대상자의 BL52에 대한 지압의 방향에 따른 압통 역치를 측정하여 효과적인 지압 방향을 연구하는 것이었다. 방법: 대상자의 명문혈(GV4)을 중심으로 좌우 지실혈까지의 거리와 GV4와 배꼽까지의 거리를 측정하여 명문혈 좌우 지실혈이 배꼽을 지나는 타원을 이용하여 좌우 지실혈에서 배꼽 방향 및 몸통 중심 방향의 각도를 계산했다. BL52에 두 방향으로 가압하면서 대상자들이 통증을 느끼는 시점의 압력을 통증 역치로 하였다. 압통역치는 대상자의 좌우 BL52에서 3분 간격으로 3번씩 측정하였다. 결과: 대상자들의 좌우 BL52에서 측정된 압통 역치는 몸통 중심부를 향하여 가압할 때 상대적으로 유의하게 감소하였다(p < .05). BL52에서는가압방향이몸통의중심부를향할때압력에대해더예민한것으로나타났다. 결론: 주변보다 외부 자극에 더 예민한 경혈의 지압 요법에서, BL52에서는 몸통의 중심부를 향하도록 지압하는 것이 배꼽 방향으로 지압하는 것보다 효율적이라는 것을 시사한다.

Surface Micromachined Pressure Sensor with Internal Substrate Vacuum Cavity

  • A surface micromachined piezoresistive pressure sensor with a novel internal substrate vacuum cavity was developed. The proposed internal substrate vacuum cavity is formed by selectively etching the silicon substrate under the sensing diaphragm. For the proposed cavity, a new fabrication process including a cavity side-wall formation, dry isotropic cavity etching, and cavity vacuum sealing was developed that is fully CMOS-compatible, low in cost, and reliable. The sensitivity of the fabricated pressure sensors is 2.80 mV/V/bar and 3.46 mV/V/bar for a rectangular and circular diaphragm, respectively, and the linearity is 0.39% and 0.16% for these two diaphragms. The temperature coefficient of the resistances of the polysilicon piezoresistor is 0.003% to 0.005% per degree of Celsius according to the sensor design. The temperature coefficient of the offset voltage at 1 atm is 0.0019 mV and 0.0051 mV per degree of Celsius for a rectangular and circular diaphragm, respectively. The measurement results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed pressure sensor as a highly sensitive circuit-integrated pressure sensor.

비접촉식 그리퍼 적용을 위한 공기압 파지식 헤드 내부 관통로 고찰 (Study on Through Paths Inside the Air Pressure Pick-Up Head for Non-Contact Gripper)

  • In the semiconductor and display device production processes, the handling of sensitive objects needs new carrying technology. Floating carrying motion is a practical alternative solution for non-contact handling of parts and substrates. This paper presents a study of through paths inside the air pressure pick-up head to generate the floating motion. The air motion by conceptual designed paths inside the head gradually develops positive pressure and vacuum between narrow objects. Positive pressure occurs through the head tip before discharging outside of the head. Negative pressure is developed by evacuating the inside head bottom as result of the radial flow connecting the vertical through-holes. The numerical analysis was done to figure out the stable levitation caused by the two acting forces between surfaces. In comparing with the standard case that the levitation gap gets 0.7-0.9 mm, it confirms the suggested head characteristics to show floating capacity in accordance with the head size, number of through-hole, and locations of through-hole in succession of conceptual design for a prototype.

고온고압 조건에서 Two-Photon LIF를 이용한 CO 측정에 관한 연구 (CO Two-photon Laser Induced Fluorescence Measurements in High Temperature and Pressure Conditions)

  • Carbon monoxide (CO) is not only an important intermediate species in chemical reaction mechanisms of hydrocarbon fuel combustion, but also a crucial pollutant species emitted from automotive engines. To better understand the physical processes impacting CO emissions, the development of laser-based measurement techniques that can visualize in-cylinder CO distributions is desirable. Among these techniques, Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF) is a sensitive and species-selective detection technique capable of good spatial resolution. However, some technical matters such as deep UV excitation, severe pressure dependency of the LIF signal, and potential interference from other species have been major challenges for CO LIF application. This study is focused on investigating the feasibility of CO two-photon LIF in a direct-injection diesel engine operating at typical pressure and temperature conditions with commercial grade diesel fuel. Spectroscopic analysis shows that the CO fluorescence signal can be separated from $C_2$ Swan band or broadband fluorescence from PAHs when the signal is collected near 483 nm. The signal-to-noise ratio of CO LIF deteriorate rapidly as pressure is increased, following $P^{-1.49}$ which matches the theoretical signal pressure dependency.
