Primary malignant melanoma in breast parenchyma (PMB) is an extremely rare disease, and the most common presentation is a palpable breast lump. To the best of our knowledge, a case of PMB presenting as a breast abscess has not been reported in English literatures. We present a case of PMB that manifested as a recurrent breast abscess in a 71-year-old woman. On MRI, an enhancing solid mass with a cystic or necrotic portion was revealed with some high signal intensities on precontrast-enhanced T1-weighted images and a dark rim on T2-weighed images. The MRI features played a pivotal role in identifying the underlying malignant condition and making an accurate diagnosis of this rare case of PMB with unusual clinical presentation.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how EFL learners can overcome the limitations of traditional classes and practice communication through the learning activity model. As a research method, it was conducted from March to June 2019 to develop and derive strategies and guidelines through model development, validation, and application. After two validity tests, the model was applied to the experimental group, resulting in an increase of self-direction, engagement, problem-solving, and participation. Moreover the post results showed significant results in all fields, the usefulness of this model was confirmed. However, continuous follow-up research is needed, including the development of software that can easily apply AI related to English learning to classes, and the presentation of convergence activities with more systematic maker education in learning activities.

Journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (JKMS) is confronted by a huge challenge. Following the long-term plan of the Korean Meteorological Society (KMS), the JKMS has entered a new era in 2006 in the sense that the all papers are published in English. Tremendous efforts are needed to accomplish the original goal of JKMS becoming an internationally recognized journal. A forum was held in this connection with the subject of the vitalization of the JKMS at the Spring Meeting of the Korean Meteorological Society held at Gwangju, 2006. A number of special topics were presented at the forum and active and vigorous discussions followed. Professor Dong-Kyou Lee presented strategies to increase the number of submission to the JKMS. Professor Seon Ki Park gave a presentation on how JKMS can grow into the SCI journal. The Editor-in-Chief of JKMS, professor H. Joe Kwon introduced the on-line review system of JKMS which had launched in 2006. This manuscript is presented on the basis of the presentations and the discussions at the forum for the purpose of finding the way in aiming the direction of the long-term goal of the KMS.

Immense efforts are needed to accomplish the original goal of KJSB becoming an internationally recognized journal. The 2009 Spring International Conference of the KSSB was held in this connection with the subject of the vitalization of the KJSB. The Manager of Thomson Reuter gave a presentation on how KJSB can grow into the SCI-expanded journal. This manuscript is presented on the basis of the presentations and the discussions at the meeting for the purpose of finding the way in aiming the direction of the long-term goal of the KJSB. Other evaluation criteria such as journal self-citation rate. SCI citation rate and SCI impact factor need to modify the score ranges.

When language A borrows words, it borrows them according to its own phonetic rules. In other words, language B, where borrowed words coming from, has to comply with the phonetic requirements of language A. It may be added that language A only borrows the elements, the types of syllables and accentuation that already exist in its own phonetic struture and rejects all the rest that are not compatible. It operates exactly like a sieve. That is why borrowed words offer an excellent observation post to notice how react in phonetic contexts. The Japanese language has borrowed and is borrowing extensively from other languages and cultures, mainly from the English ones in the fields of sports, medicine, industry, commerce, and natural sciences. Relatively very few new words are created using the ancient Chinese or native backgrounds. This presentation will look for the rules of borrowing and try to show that this way of borrowing represents an organized system of its own. Three levels would be particularly studied : - the phonemic level - the syllable level and - the accentual level. This last point would be specially targeted with the question of syllable tension-relaxation. Such a study of languages in phonetics contacts could shed some new light on the phonetic charaCteristics of Japanese language and will confirm or weaken some conclusion already demonstated otherwise. We will be aming specially at the endings of the borrowed words where, it seems, Japanese language manifests itself very strongly.

Background: Supernumerary nostril is a congenital anomaly that contains additional nostril with or without accessory cartilage. These rare congenital nasal deformities result from embryological defects. Since 1906, Lindsay (Trans Pathol Soc Lond. 57:329-330, 1906) has published the first research of bilateral supernumerary nostrils, and only 34 cases have been reported so far in the English literature. Case presentation: A 1-year-old female baby was brought to our department group for the treatment of an accessory opening above the left nostril which had been presented since her birth. Medical history was non-specific and her birth was normal. The size of a supernumerary nostril was about 0.2 cm diameter and connected to the left nostril. The right one was normal. Minimal procedure was operated for the anomaly. After 1 year, rhinoplasty was performed for the nostril asymmetry. Conclusions: At 1 year follow-up, the functional and cosmetic result was satisfactory. In this case, it is important that we have early preoperative diagnosis. Also, it is desirable that we should perform a corrective surgery as soon as possible for the patient's psychosocial growth.

Myxoma is a benign mesenchymal neoplasm that can occur in the head and neck. Laryngeal myxoma is extremely rare and easily confused with a laryngeal polyp. The common clinical presentation is hoarseness, dysphonia, dyspnea and dysphagia depending on their size and location. Treatment for laryngeal myxoma is complete surgical excision with surrounding normal tissue. To our knowledge, 11 laryngeal myxomas have been reported in the English literature, and all patients except only 1 case were male. We report the second female case of myxoma on a vocal cord with a review of literature.

A 13-year-old intact male English Springer Spaniel presented with anorexia. Physical examination revealed a palpable abdominal mass without peripheral lymphadenopathy. Ultrasonography revealed hepatosplenomegaly and a markedly enlarged hepatic lymph node. Fine-needle aspiration of the splenic and nodal lesions revealed atypical round cells admixed with numerous histiocytes. The dog was euthanized owing to deteriorating condition despite a month of chemotherapy with lomustine. Histopathology revealed obliteration of the normal architecture of the liver, spleen, kidney, and hepatic and mesenteric lymph nodes by CD3⁺ neoplastic lymphocytes, accompanied by extensive F4/80⁺ histiocytic infiltration. This report describes a rare presentation of T-cell lymphoma with prominent histiocytic infiltration that may initially be misdiagnosed as histiocytic neoplasia in a dog.

Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the Lung(CCAM) is characterized by anomalous fetal development of terminal respiratory structures, resulting in an adenomatoid proliferation of bronchiolar elements and cystic formation. CCAM was first described and differentiated from other cystic lung disease in the English literature by Ch'in and Tang in 1949. CCAN is a rare, potentially lethal form of congenital pulmonary cystic disease and the salient features of lesion are an irregular network of terminal respiratory bronchiole-like structures and macrocysts variably lined by pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium and simple cuboidal epithelium. Adult presentation of CCAM of the lung is so rare that only 9 cases have been reported in the literature of date. The pathogenesis of CCAM remains disputed and reseachers have variously proposed that the lesion represents a developmental anomaly, hamartoma, or a fonn of pulmonary dysplasia. Van Dijk and Wagenvoort divided CCAM into three subtypes : cystic, intermediated, and solid. These correspond to types I, II, and III of Stocker. In adults, the evaluation of cystic or multi cystic lung disease requires consideration of a differential diagnosis including the acquired lesions of lung abscess, cavitary neoplasm or inflammatory mass, bullous disease, bronchiectasis, and postionflammatory pneumatocele. Congenital lesions such as sequestration, bronchopulmonary-foregut anomalies, and bronchogenic cyst are also encounted. The definitive treatment for CCAM is complele removal of the involved lobe. Panial lobectomy leads to multiple complications, including severe post-operative infection. We report a case of CCAM in a 14-year-old female presentated with a pneumothorax and large bullae, who was treated by surgical remove of the involved lobe.

This study aims to examine the efficacy of online lectures conducted by most universities in 2020 in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Furthermore, this study analyzes students' opinions regarding online lectures, thereby assessing the possible direction that future online lectures could take. This study's results indicate that online lectures can have a positive effect on learners' reading comprehension. Also, student satisfaction with online lectures was found to be quite high. Among the reasons students cited for favoring the online format were: (1) the fun presentation of class information; (2) the diversity of subjects covered; and (3) the ease of using the Internet. Among the improvements made for enhancing online lectures were technical enhancements (such as fixing attendance check authentication errors) and stabilizing the playback of lecture videos. By way of concluding, this study claims that professors who are familiar with giving lectures in person should come to recognize that online lectures are not simply another option, but are essential for the future. As such, the academic community must focus on developing online content as a way to further higher education's development in meeting the academic demands of both the present and the future.
