코치닐에 의한 나일론직물의 천연 염색성과 항균성 (Natural Dyeing Properties and Antibacterial Activity of Nylon Fabric Dyed with Cochineal)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the dyeing-property and antibacterial activity on nylon fabric dyed with cochineal at variable dyeing conditions. Al, Cr, Fe, Cu and Sn were used as mordants and adsorption was compared with different mordanting methods. The maximum UV-visible absorption band of cochineal extract was 495 nm. The dyeability on nylon fabric was good because of having a amine group. The optimum dyeing conditions of nylon fabrics are dyeing concentration 1.5%(o.w.s), dyeing temperature $60^{\circ}C$, pH 3 and dyeing time 30 minutes. The pre-mordanting method is preferred for Al and Cr, and the post-mordanting one is preferred for Cu, Sn and Fe to achieve better dyeing. The optimum mordanting conditions of wool fabrics dyed with cochineal are mordanting concentration of 0.5%(o.w.s), mordanting temperature $60^{\circ}C$, and dyeing time 30 minutes. Nylon fabrics dyed with cochineal show a little antibacterial activity, but it was increased by Sn mordanting. MIC test results in antibacterial activities revealed that the antibacterial activity of Cu was the highest among mordants, but Sn mordant was the most effective in antibacterial activities after mordanting treatment of nylon fabric. The fastness properties of dyed nylon fabric showd a little worse or a similar level and there was no significant difference between a mordanted and non-mordanted fabric.

  • Studies on the ways to construct agreeable sound-amenity have been processed in Korea recently and Virtual Acoustics Field Simulation System (VAFSS) which is an active acoustics reproducing system has been made as a technique to realize the results of the study. This system catches the changes of surroundings and produce sounds which go well with the mood of the space. The fact that a man thinks a sound goes well with factors of the environment should be an individual evaluation. Thus, the standards to classify factors influencing the preference of the sound, which can be judged by the environment, are needed. This study suggests the standards of factors to provide agreeable sound for people according to changes of the time and other elements. Among the factors influencing environment, the temperature, the humidity and the wind were suggested as standards of discomfort Index and wind chin temperature. Besides, only the intensity of illumination has been chosen to estimate the intensity of radiation as a part of factors of the whether.

오미갈수(五味渴水)의 최적 희석 배율 (The Optimal Dilution Magnification for Omi-Galsu)

  • The principal objective of this study was to determine the optimal dilution magnification for Omi-Galsu. The pH of Omi-Galsu generated by varying the temperature of 200cc of water ($4^{\circ}C$ and $80^{\circ}C$) and quantity of Omi-Galsu concentrate (36 g, 45 g, 54 g) was $3.24{\sim}3.33$ and the sugar content of the solution was $6.60{\sim}9.50$, higher than the tea beverages on the market and slightly lower than fruit juice beverages. The Omi-Galsu had a caloric content of $30.65{\sim}38.70\;kcal$, and a protein content of $0.45{\sim}0.65%$. As a result of the sensory evaluations conducted during the summer season, it was determined that the Omi-Galsu produced by mixing 54 g of Omi-Galsu concentrate into 200cc water at $4^{\circ}C$ or $80^{\circ}C$ was the most preferred; however, during the winter months, the "gusto" of the Omi-Galsu produced by mixing 54g concentrate into 200cc water at $4^{\circ}C$ or 45 g of concentrate into 200cc water of $80^{\circ}C$ was preferred most strongly. All in all, the optimal dilution magnification for Omi-Galsu was found to be $4.7{\sim}5.4$.

박막 고체전지 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of thin solid state batteries)

  • This research is aimed at developing(110) preferred TiS2 cathode films and glass typed solid electro-lytes which have high ionic migrations and low electron conductivities for thin secondary solid batteries. To obtain preferred oriented TiS2 thin films on a substrate by CVD method using TiCl4 and H2S gases three factors of heating temperature, inner pressure of furnace and TiCl4/H2S gas mole fraction were ex-amined systematically. To obtain solid films of Li2O-B2O3-SiO2 electrolytes by r.f. sputtering for thin proto-type batteries of Li/Li2O-B2O3-SiO2TiS2, sputtering conditions were examined. TiS2 cathode films showed columnar structure, namely c axis oriented parallely. At low pressure of reaction chamber and low heating temperature, surface of smooth TiS2 films couldd be obtained. Ionic conductivity of Li2O-B2O3-SiO2 films manufactured by r.f. magnetron sputtering were 3$\times$10-7$\Omega$-1cm-1 and electron conductivities were 10-11$\Omega$-1cm-1. Open cell voltage of thin lithium batteries were 2.32V with a designed prototype cell.

  • We investigated the preferred orientation, electrical and magnetic properties of the Mn-Zn ferrite thin films deposited on SiO2/Si(100) by ion beam sputtering. The Cu-added Mn-Zn ferrite thin films had a preferred orientation of (111) with a weak orientation, (311). While the Zn-added one had a strong (111) preferred orientation. The saturation magnetization of the Cu- or Zn-doped Mn-Zn ferrite films increased with increasing substrate temperature (Ts) due to the increase of grain size and the enhancement of crystallinity. For the same reason the coercivity of Cu- or Zn-doped Mn-Zn ferrite films deposited at low Ts increased with increasing Ts, but those of the films deposited at high Ts slightly decreased not only because the defect density of the films decreases but because more grains have multi-domains with increasing Ts. The resistivity of Cu- or Zn-added Mn-Zn ferrite thin fims measured by complex impedance method decreased with increasing Ts due to the ehhancement of crystallinity as well as due to the increase of grain size.

  • 감람석은 맨틀 상부의 주요 광물이고, 탄성적으로 매우 비균질하다. 맨틀암석이 고압고온에서 변형될 때, 이러한 감람석이 배열되어 격자선호방향(LPO, Lattice Preferred Orientation)이 형성된다. 감람석의 격자선호방향은 압력, 응력, 그리고 감람석 내부의 물(OH)의 양에 따라 크게 영향을 받을 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 물, 응력, 그리고 압력이 어떻게 감람석의 격자선호방향(LPO)의 형성에 영향을 주는지에 대해 그동안 발표된 논문들을 리뷰했고, 자연 맨틀암석에서 발견된 감람석의 격자선호방향들을 요약했으며, 감람석의 격자선호방향과 맨틀상부에서 나타나는 지진파의 비등방성과의 연계성에 대해 토의하였다. 그리고 최근에 맨틀암석에서 발견된 사방휘석의 네 가지 격자선호방향들을 기술하였다.

  • NiO 산화물 타겟을 이용한 RF 마그네트론 스퍼터로 상온에서 Si(100) 기판 위에 NiO 박막을 증착시켜, 스퍼터 가스의 산소 유량비가 NiO 박막의 결정 배향성과 표면 형상에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Ar 가스에서 증착된 NiO 박막은 높은결정화도와 (100)면의 우선 배향성을 나타내었으나, $O_2$ 가스에서 증착된 경우에는 (111)면의 우선 배향성을 보였으며 그 증착속도도 감소하였다. 스퍼터 가스의 $O_2$ 함량에 따른 NiO 박막의 결정성과 우선배향성 변화에 대한 요인을 고찰하였으며, 박막의 표면 형상과 거칠기의 변화를 조사하였다.

필터용 AIN 압전 박막의 제작 (Preparation of AIN piezoelectric thin film for filters)

  • AIN thin films were prepared on amorphous glass and $SiO_2(1{\mu}m)/Si(100)$ substrate by the facing targets sputtering (FTS) apparatus, which can provide high density plasma, a high deposition rate at a low working gas pressure. The AIN thin films were deposited at a different nitrogen gas flow rate ($1.0{\sim}0.3$) and other sputtering parameters were fixed such as sputtering power of 200w, working pressures of 1mTorr and AIN thin film thickness of 800 nm, respectively. The thickness and crystallographic characteristics of AIN thin films as a function of $N_2$ gas flow rate $[N_2/(N_2+Ar)]$ were measured by $\alpha$-step and an X-ray diffraction (XRD) instrument. And the c-axis preferred orientations were evaluated by rocking curve. In the results, we could prepared the AIN thin film with c-axis preferred orientation of about $5^{\circ}$ on substrate temperature R.T. at nitrogen gas flow rate 0.7.

김치에 대한 중국 남녀 대학생의 인식 및 기호도 조사 (Chinese College Students Perception and Preference of Korean Kimchi)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate perception and preference of Chinese college students for Korean Kimchi by a survey and sensory evaluation and to globalize and industrialize Kimchi in the world. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 588 students residing in Beijing. About 80% of all the participants knew what Kimchi was and 63.4% had eaten Kimchi before the survey . On thier first impression of Kimchi, 43.6% of respondents, answered the nationality of Kimchi is impression after eating Kimchi was 'good'. 51.4% of respondents, answered the nationality of Kimchi is 'Korea'. The most liked Kimchi is Baechu Kimchi, and they preferred the white stem of the Chinese cabbage. On their perception of Kimchi,'Kimchi is a good side dish with cooked rice' was totally received point. The most well-known cooking method of Kimchi turned out to be Kimchi Chigae. As the results of sensory evaluation on several types cabbage Kimchies at room temperature, the most preferred Kimchi by the students was two-day old and made out of 5g red pepper. And two-day old Kimchi lOg red pepper and 2g shangchai added was preferred, too. But the six-day old Kimchi was disliked. The two-day old Kimchi made out of lOg red pepper preserved in the refrigerator was the most-liked. The dishes using Kimchi as the main ingredient are listed according to the students preference as follows Kimchi Hundun, Kimchi Ddungchai, Kimchi Bokum, and Kimchi Ramen, and so on.

Application of Inverse Pole Figure to Rietveld Refinement: III. Rietveld Refinement of $SnO_2$ Thin Film using X-ray Diffraction Data

  • The SnO$_2$film was deposited on a corning glass 1737 substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition using a gas mixture of SnCl$_4$, $O_2$, and Ar. The film thickness was measured using $\alpha$-step and was about 9400$\AA$. The conventional X-ray diffractometry and pole figure attachment were used to refine the crystal structure of SnO$_2$ thin film. Six pole figures, (200), (211), (310), (301), (321), and (411), were measured with CoK$_\alpha$ radiation in reflection geometry. The X-ray diffraction data were measured at room temperature using CuK$_\alpha$ radiation with graphite monochromator. The agreement between calculated and observed patterns for the normal direction of SnO$_2$ thin film was not satisfactory due to the severely preferred orientation effect. The Rietveld refinement of heavily textured SnO$_2$ thin film was successfully achieved by adopting the pole density distribution of each reflection obtained from the inverse pole figure as a correction factor for the preferred orientation effect. The R-weighted pattern, R$_wp$, was 15.30%.
