1957년 원주 법천사지 지광국사탑 수리에 사용된 철물(鐵物)의 재료학적 특성 연구 (A Study of the Material Properties of Steel Used to Repair the Stupa of State Preceptor Jigwang from Beopcheonsa Temple, Wonju in 1957)

  • 국보 제101호로 지정된 원주 법천사지 지광국사탑은 조성 후 수차례 이전 및 이건되었는데, 특히 한국전쟁 시 폭격으로 인한 심각한 훼손으로 1957년 전면적인 해체·보수가 이루어졌다. 당시 재료 및 수리 내용이 남아있지 않지만 보존 처리를 진행하면서 지광국사탑에 사용된 다양한 형태의 금속재료를 확인하였다. 각 부재를 연결하는데 꺽쇠 및 앵커볼트 외에 두께 9mm의 원형철근이 주로 사용되었으며, 부재와 모르타르 복원재를 연결하기 위해 다양한 두께의 원형철근과 철사 등이 사용되었다. 건축물로 분류되는 석탑에 통상적으로 사용되는 이형철근이 아닌 매끈한 표면의 원형철근이 사용되었다. 이는 모르타르 복원 시 재료가 가진 부착 강도와 결합력 강화를 위해 재료의 형태를 변형시키고, 서로 교차시켜 결속하고 불규칙적으로 꼬아 단면적을 늘리는 등 재료의 단점을 보완한 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 금속학적 분석법을 적용하여 알아본 결과 전체적으로 탄소 함량이 낮은 아공석강 소재로 사용하여 제작하였다. 미세조직 내에는 불규칙한 크기로 분포하는 방울 형태의 비금속개재물이 다수 포함되어 있으나 전체 성분에는 영향을 미치지 않을 정도의 미량으로 포함되어 있다. SEM-EDS의 면 분석으로 검출되지 않는 망간(Mn)과 황(S)이 정량 분석 및 EPMA 분석법으로 확인한 결과 망간황화물(MnS)로 시료의 형태와 관계없이 미세조직 결정립 내에 고르게 분포하고 있다. 철물의 형태 제작 후 작업의 용이성을 위해 2차로 균질화 등 열처리를 실시한 것으로 보여지며, 철물의 두께가 얇아질수록 포함된 탄소 함량이 감소하고 탄성과 신장률이 증가하는 특성에 따라 복원 작업 순서를 정하고 다양한 형태의 철물을 사용한 것으로 보인다.

신입간호사 교육 기간 단축에 따른 Preceptor program 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Application of Precepter Program with the Reducion of the Time of New Entry Nurse Orientation.)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute the improvement of nursing staff development by implementing of effective and organized orientation program using the measure of effectiveness in the application of preceptor program with the reduction of the time of New entry nurse orientation. The subjects were comprised of 116 new entry nurses(59 new entry nurses were employed at June, 1996 and 57 at May & July, 1997) and 79 preceptors, who were in charge of new entry nurse orientation at 1997. These date were collected from June 18, 1996 to August 29, 1997. The characteristics of questionairs applied in this study were general characteristics(7 questions), knowledge of nursing care(138 questions); attitude toward her profession(40 questions) and the degree of satisfaction for the program(5 questions). The questionnairs were developed by the researchers of Asan Medical Center. The Check-list for basic nursing skill were used for the measurement of nursing skill which was developed by nursing department of AMC. The data were analyzed for the mean, standard deviation, difference of mean, ANOV A & t-test. The results of this study are as follows : 1) The changes in knowledge of nursing care : After three months of training the difference of mean between before and after the orientation was higher than the result of two month period training. However, the result was insignificant(p= .469). 2) Performance in nursing practice : Two month period orientation was more effective than three-month training period, however, the statistical significance can not be reached than 3 month period, which resulted in insignificant difference(p=.150). 3) The change in attitude toward her profession : After three-month of orientation, the difference of mean between before and after the orientation was higher than 2 month period orientation, which resulted in significant difference (p=.000). 4) The degree of satisfaction for the program with the time of new entry nurse orientation : After two-month of orientation, the mean of points was 2.57 where the score is higher than 3 month period with mean of 2.30. It resulted in significant difference(p=.000).

서울 삼천사지 대지국사탑비의 암석학적 특성과 산지해석 (Petrological Characteristics and Provenance Interpretation of Daejiguksatapbi (State Preceptor Daeji's Memorial Stele) in Samcheonsaji Temple Site, Seoul)

  • 삼천사지 대지국사탑비는 고려시대 대지국사 법경의 행적을 기록한 석비이다. 이 탑비는 귀부, 비신 및 이수로 구성되어 있으며 비신은 발굴조사를 통해 약 255점의 파편으로 확인되었다. 탑비의 비신, 귀부 및 이수를 구성하는 암석은 각각 응회암질 각력암, 조립질 홍장석 화강암 및 세립질 화강암으로 동정되었다. 비의 구성암석과 동종의 암석 산출지를 탐색하기 위해 지표지질조사를 실시한 결과, 강화도 해협 양안에 점재하는 응회암질 각력암을 확인하였으며 조립질 홍장석 화강암과 세립질 화강암은 현재 삼천사지가 위치한 북한산에서 확인되었다. 비의 구성암석과 추정 산지 암석의 성인적 동질성을 규명하기 위해 암석학적 및 지구화학적 분석 결과, 추정 산지 암석의 광물조성, 조직, 암상적 특징과 지구화학적 거동특성이 탑비 구성암석과 매우 유사하였다. 따라서 비신은 강화도 해협 일대, 귀부와 이수는 삼천사지 주변이 석재 공급지였을 가능성이 아주 높은 것으로 해석된다. 이 결과는 현재 심하게 파손된 비신의 복원 시 신석재를 선택할 수 있는 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

프리셉터의 지도유형과 신규간호사의 성격특성에 따른 신규간호사의 간호업무수행과 조직사회화 (Nursing Performance and Organizational Socialization of New Nurses according to Teaching Style of Preceptors and Personality of New Nurses)

  • Purpose: In this study, we examined the differences and relationship between teaching style of preceptors, and personality, nursing performance, and organizational socialization of new nurses. Methods: The participants were 118 new nurses. The data collected from March to May 2011 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Teaching style of preceptors was most frequently judgement-initiative, and personality of new nurses was most frequently extraversion. Nursing performance ($3.05{\pm}.59$) and organizational socialization ($3.05{\pm}.59$) of new nurses were at an average level. Nursing performance and organizational socialization of new nurses were not significantly different according to teaching style of preceptors. Significant correlations were found between personality and nursing performance, and between personality and organizational socialization. Conclusion: These findings indicate that changes in perceived teaching style of preceptors and personality of new nurses may be necessary to increase efficiency of preceptorship related to nursing performance and organizational socialization of new nurses. The above-mentioned results should be reflected in the development of effective preceptor training programs.

프리셉터의 업무수행, 자율성, 임파워먼트, 조직몰입에 대한 연구 (The Performance, Autonomy, Empowerment and Organizational Commitment of the Preceptors)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the performance, autonomy, and organizational commitment of the preceptors. Methods : The sample consisted of 29 nurses in one university hospital. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey of performance, autonomy, empowerment, and organizational commitment conducted from May through August. 30, 2003. The subjects accepted preceptor training for 26 hours, which was conducted by a researcher. The contents of the training program consisted of an introduction to preceptorship, nursing organization, teaching and learning methods, interpersonal relationships, organizational management, self management, and basic nursing practice. Analysis was performed by SPSS for percentile, mean, standard deviation, and correlation using the paired t-test. Results : Our study results showed that performance, autonomy, empowerment, and organizational commitment were significantly altered by training. After education for preceptors, performance, autonomy, empowerment, and organizational commitment were all enhanced. Performance was related with empowerment, and not with autonomy. Conclusion : This study suggests that the application of preceptorship as a nursing management intervention can benefit organizational efficiency.

임상간호실습 현장지도자용 임상간호역량 평가도구 개발 (Development and Psychometric Testing of the Clinical Nursing Competency Scale for Clinical Preceptor Use (CNCS-CP))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and establish the psychometric properties of a clinical nursing competency evaluation tool to be utilized by clinical preceptors. Methods: The initial items were identified through in-depth literature review and field interviews based on a hybrid model. Content validation of the items was evaluated through three rounds of content validity testing. Participants were 34 clinical preceptors and 443 nursing students participating in clinical practice. Data were analyzed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, convergence and discriminant validity, internal consistency and inter-rater reliability. Results: The final scale consisted of 23 items and four factors, fundamental nursing skills performance, critical thinking skills based on the nursing process, basic nursing knowledge, and professional attitude; these factor explained 69.7% of the total variance. The analysis with multi-trait/multi-item matrix correlation coefficients yielded 100.0% and 95.7 % convergence and discriminant validity, respectively. Cronbach's alpha for the total items was .95. The four subscale model tested by confirmatory factor analysis was satisfactory. Inter-rater reliability ranged from .912 to .967. Conclusion: This scale was found to be a reliable and valid instrument that clinical preceptors can apply for evaluating the clinical nursing competency of nursing students in clinical settings.

신규간호사가 지각한 프리셉터 의사소통 유형에 따른 임상수행능력 및 조직사회화 (Clinical Competence and Organizational Socialization according to Communication Style of Preceptors as Perceived by New Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine clinical competence and organizational socialization according to communication style of preceptors as perceived by new nurses. Methods: From May 1 to July 31, 2014, data were collected from 180 new graduated nurses who had been working for 3~12 months in hospitals in Busan and one in Gyungnam. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Preceptors's communication style perceived by the new nurses included supportive type, reflective type, emotive type, and directive type in order of precedence. The average score for clinical competence was $2.82{\pm}0.31$, and the average score for organizational socialization was $3.05{\pm}0.40$. There were significant differences in nurses' clinical competence(F=9.087, p<.001) and organizational socialization (F=30.129, p<.001) according to preceptor's communication style. Conclusion: Results indicate that supportive and emotive communication styles of preceptors were important factors in the success of the preceptees' clinical competence and organizational socialization.

약학 실무실습교육에서의 효과적인 교수법 (Effective Teaching Skills in Pharmacy Practice Education)

  • Experiential education is a core curriculum of 6-year pharmacy education. Practicing pharmacists lie at the heart of experiential education serving as preceptors for undergraduate pharmacy students during experiential education. Preceptors are, however, confronted with a challenge of caring for patients and teaching students at the same time in a time-constrained environment. To improve the effectiveness and outcomes of experiential education, practicing pharmacists are required to demonstrate educational competence. Even small teaching moments can provide students with valuable learning opportunities that they could not have from on their own. Thus, it is vital to provide education and training for preceptors to advance their teaching skills. This article will describe practical and effective teaching skills that preceptors could adopt in the experiential education for pharmacy students. It is important that preceptors should use different teaching skills for different learners, according to their level of experience and knowledge, learning styles and needs, as well as the type of the practice. Therefore, possessing diverse teaching skills provides flexibility to adapt teaching to each student's learning levels and needs, and to the charateristics of the practice environment. Preceptors' level of confidence and comfort in using teaching skills can be enhanced through continuous practice and training, which consequently leads to the improved effectiveness of experiential education and student's satisfaction with the education.

코칭에 대한 간호사의 인식, 행동수준 및 직무특성 (Nurses' Awareness, Behavior on Coaching and Job Characteristics in a Hospital)

  • Purpose: This research was conducted to investigate the nurses' awareness and behavior on coaching and its relation with job characteristics in a hospital. Methods: Total 300 nurses in a university affiliated hospital were surveyed with questionnaires between April and May, 2008. The data was analyzed using SAS 9.1. Results: The data showed that 88.9 % of nurses responded the need of coaching training program while only 80.9% of general nurses and 75.7% preceptor nurses would like to participate in the training. The current level of knowledge for coaching was not different by the age, education level, and career. However, coaching behavior and job characteristics were significantly higher in the nurse managers than in general nurses or preceptors. The correlation between coaching behavior and job characteristics were identified. Conclusion: The gaps between the perceived necessity of coaching program implementation and willingness to participate in the coaching program were due to worry about the burden of extra hours needed to participate the program. To introduce coaching program to a nurses' organization successfully, the efforts should be made to develop the coaching training program for nurses based on the results and to support them systematically.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify experiences of nurses who served as preceptors in clinical education for senior student nurses in a college of medicine in Wonju city. Method: Data was collected from 20 preceptors instructing senior student nurses in 2001 using a self-completion questionnaire. To analyze data, content analysis was done using an analysis scheme developed by the investigators. Result: The analysis scheme consisted of 7 categories and 25 subcategories. 135 significant statements were analyzed and categorized. Preceptors indicated that they were role models, socialization facilitators and educators while instructing students in the clinical practicum. In performing the preceptors' role, preceptors reported that their most important change was self-enhancement, and positive experience was a constructive work atmosphere. The most important factor facilitating the preceptors' role performance was support from head nurses, and the most discouraging factor was work loads. Conclusion: This study suggests that interventions for encouragement and socialization of preceptors should be developed to promote clinical education for senior student nurses.
