연세지역 아파트 주민의 모자보건에 관한 실태조사 (A Study of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Relative to Maternal and Child Health Among Women Residing in Apartments at Yonsei Community Health Area)

  • 연세지역 아파트 주민의 모자보건과 가족계획에 대한 지식, 태도와 실천을 파악하기 위하여 1970년 11 월24일부터 12월 30일까지 305명의 유배우가임부인을 대상으로 조사 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. A. 임신과 출산 1. 현 임신율 16.4% 2. 분만장소 출산경험이 있는 281명에 대한 최종아의 분만중 48.0%가 의사 또는 조사원이 개조 하였고 그 나머지 52.0%는 가정분만이었다. 교육정도, 매스메디아 접촉정도가 높을수록, 그리고 도시출생성장일수록 병원 또는 조산원 분만이 높았다. 9. 분만시 방포 사용 종류 가정분만 141예중 세멘트 포대와 비닐을 깐 경우가 합해서 50%이었고 아무것도 깔지 않고 분만한 경우도 4예가 있었다. 4. 제대 절단 용구와 소독 가정 분만 141예중 70.2%가 가위를 사용했고, 소독해서 사용한 예는 불과 24.1%이었다. 5. 산후 휴식기간 산후 1달 혹은 1달이상 휴식한 예가 47.3%이었고 교육정도가 높아짐에 따라 길어지고 있다. 6. 초유처리 초유를 애기에게 먹인 예가 52.4%이있고 교육정도에 따라 유의한 차이가 없었다. 7. 산전 산후의 금기 음식 42.9%가 산전 산후에 먹어서는 안될 음식이 있다는 그릇된 지식을 갖고 있다. B. 아동 보건 1. 예방접종에 관한 지식과 실천 어린이 예방접종 6가지 모두 알고있는 부인은 20.3%이며 93.2%가 1가지 이상 알고있었다. 1가지 이상 실시한 경우는 85.2%이었고 교육정도별 유의한 차이는 없었다. 2. 최종아의 이환과 치료 48.1%가 아픈 일이 있었으며 그중 병원 이용은 41.5%이었다. 3. 육아 상담 76.5%가 상담한 일이 없었으며 세브란스 병원 육아 지도회 이용율은 13.2%의 저율을 보였고 앞으로의 육아지도회 이용할 생각은 54.1%가 생각 없다고 하였다. 4. 수 유 최종아의 이유기간은 6개월${\sim}$1년미만이 33.9%로 수위이며 젖뗀 이유는 모자 보건을 위해서가 수위였다. 5. 출생 및 사망신고장소에 대한 지식과 실천구청으로 답한 옳은 답은 64.6%였고 14일 이내 출생 신고한 비율은 29.2%에 한 하였다. C. 가족계획에 대한 지식, 태도, 실천정도 가족계획 찬성율은 95.0%의 고율을 보이고 있고, 97.7%가 1가지 이상의 방법을 알고 있었으나 가족계획 실천율은 35.4%이었다. 첫아이갖는 이상적인 연령은 $24{\sim}25$세가 수위였다. D. 자녀수 이상적인 평균 자녀수는 3.1명이며 인공유산 경험자는 31.1%이다. 본 논문을 완성함에 있어서 간곡하신 지도와 교열의 수고를 베풀어 주신 연세의대 예방의학교실 김일순 선생님과 연세간호대학 김모임 선생님께 충심으로 감사를 드린다.

Factors influencing fast food consumption behaviors of middle-school students in Seoul: an application of theory of planned behaviors

  • Fast food is popular among children and adolescents; however, its consumption has often been associated with negative impacts on nutrition and health. This study examined current fast food consumption status among middle school students and explored factors influencing fast food consumption by applying Theory of Planned Behavior. A total of 354 (52.5% boys) students were recruited from a middle school. The subjects completed a pre-tested questionnaire. The average monthly frequency of fast food consumption was 4.05 (4.25 for boys, 3.83 for girls). As expected, fast food consumption was considered to be a special event rather than part of an everyday diet, closely associated with meeting friends or celebrating, most likely with friends, special days. The Theory of Planned Behavior effectively explained fast food consumption behaviors with relatively high $R^2$ around 0.6. Multiple regression analyses showed that fast food consumption behavior was significantly related to behavioral intention (b = 0.61, P < 0.001) and perceived behavioral control (b = 0.19, P < 0.001). Further analysis showed that behavioral intention was significantly related to subjective norm (b = 0.15, P < 0.01) and perceived behavioral control (b = 0.56, P < 0.001). Attitude toward fast food consumption was not significantly associated with behavioral intention. Therefore, effective nutrition education programs on fast food consumption should include components to change the subjective norms of fast food consumption, especially among peers, and perceived behavioral control. Further studies should examine effective ways of changing subjective norms and possible alternatives to fast food consumption for students to alter perceived behavioral control.

인천지역 초, 중학교 영양(교)사의 식품 알레르기 관리 실태 (Food Allergy Management Status by Dietitians and Nutrition Teachers in Elementary and Middle Schools in Incheon)

  • Objectives: Food allergy appears to be increasing in prevalence and can potentially result in significant damaging impact on children's mental and physical health. This study investigated how dietitians/nutrition teachers in Incheon, where a fatal fool allergy incidence occurred, manage food allergy issues in school lunch systems. Methods: A survey with a pre-tested questionnaire was conducted with 358 dietitians/nutrition teachers in Incheon area. The final analytical sample included questionnaire data from 208 study participants (58.1%). Statistical analyses used SPSS ver 19.0. Results: A total of 99.5% respondents reported having received food allergy education. The respondents showed a correction rate of the food allergy test slightly higher than 70%, where nutrition teachers and respondents working in elementary schools had correction rates higher than dietitians and those working in middle schools (p<0.05). All respondents reported regular monitoring to identify students with food allergy and making notification of allergy-prone foods on menu in their school. More nutrition teachers provided "elimination meals" (57.6%) or "replacement meals" (37.0%) than dietitians (43.1%, 19.8%, respectively) (p<0.05). Elimination and replacement meals were provided more in elementary schools than in middle schools (p<0.05). Although counseling students with food allergy on nutrition was done by 64.9% of respondents, the areas of counseling were limited to basics of food allergy and how to use the notification system on menu. To prepare for handling food allergy events effectively, networks with regional clinics or hospitals (34.1%), hotline with parents (87.4%), and keeping an Epi-Pen ready (46.7% elementary school) were established. Only 34.1% of respondents knew how to use Epi-Pens. Conclusions: Dietitians and nutrition teachers in Incheon widely adapted food allergy management methods. It appears that education/training on food allergy for dietitians/nutrition teachers can move on from teaching basics of food allergy to providing applicable food allergy management methods at school system.

Evaluation of strategic uprighting of the mandibular molars using an orthodontic miniplate and a nickel-titanium reverse curve arch wire: Preliminary cephalometric study

  • Objective: To evaluate the overall treatment effects in terms of the amount of uprighting with changes in the sagittal and vertical positions of mandibular molars after applying an orthodontic miniplate with a nickel-titanium (NiTi) reverse curve arch wire (biocreative reverse curve [BRC] system). Methods: A total of 30 female patients (mean age, 25.99 ± 8.96 years) were treated with the BRC system (mean BRC time, 10.3 ± 4.07 months). An I-shaped C-tube miniplate (Jin Biomed) was placed at the labial aspect for the alveolar bone of the mandibular incisors. A 0.017 × 0.025-inch NiTi reverse curve arch wire was engaged at the C-tube mini-plate anteriorly and the first and second premolars and molars posteriorly in the mandibular arch. Pre- and post-BRC lateral cephalograms were analyzed. A paired t-test was used to analyze the treatment effects of BRC. Results: The mandibular second molars were intrusively uprighted successfully by the BRC system. Distal uprighting with a controlled vertical dimension was noted on the first molars when they remained engaged in the BRC and the distal ends of the arch wire were laid on the second molars. The mandibular first and second premolars showed a slight extrusion. The changes in the mandibular incisors were unremarkable, while the mandibular molar angulation improved significantly. The lower occlusal plane rotated counterclockwise (MP-LOP: 1.13° ± 2.60°). Conclusions: The BRC system can provide very effective molar uprighting without compromising the position of the mandibular anterior teeth.

RE-AIM 프레임워크를 이용한 프로그램 평가: 체계적 고찰과 어린이 대상 건강증진 프로그램 평가 (Program Evaluation using the RE-AIM Framework: A Systematic Review and Application to a Pilot Health Promotion Program for Children)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to develop evaluation criteria for the elementary-school-based health promotion program using the RE-AIM framework and to examine their feasibility. Methods: Previous evaluation studies on health interventions for elementary-school students using the RE-AIM framework were reviewed systematically to identify appropriate evaluation criteria. A diet and physical activity intervention based on the transtheoretical model was implemented in a pilot study using the "Happy Me" application. The feasibility of using the RE-AIM framework to evaluate it was examined. Results: The review yielded the following evaluation criteria: "reach," the ratio of participants out of the total target population; "efficacy/effectiveness," the difference in outcomes between the intervention and control groups, or between a pre- and post-test; "adoption," the rate of use of the program and participation in the next stage of the program; "implementation," the progress on the program components; "maintenance," the participants' and teachers' intention to continue using the program. The pilot study reached 76.6% of the targeted population. The intake of sugar-sweetened beverages decreased (P < 0.0001), and the duration of walking increased (P < 0.0001). Other indicators could not be evaluated; therefore, potential indicators were suggested. Conclusions: This study produced feasible evaluation criteria for elementary-school-based health promotion using the RE-AIM framework. Nevertheless, the feasibility needs to be validated with a broader range of studies and long-term interventions.

사회적 기술 훈련이 초등학교 아동의 학급응집력에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Social Skill Training on the Class Cohesiveness of Elementary School Children)

  • 본 연구는 사회적 기술 훈련이 초등학교 아동의 학급응집력에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 사회적 기술 훈련 프로그램은 총 12회기로 구성하여 매회 40분간 주 2회씩 5주간에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 프로그램 적용을 위해 경상북도 G시에 위치한 D초등학교 5학년 6개 반 중 2학급을 무선으로 선정하였다. 이들 가운데 한 학급은 실험집단(N=30, 남=18명, 여=12명), 다른 한 학급은 통제집단(N=29, 남=15명, 여=14명)으로 무선 할당하였으며, 총 59명(남 33명, 여 25명)을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 강신석(2000)이 초등학교 수준에 맞게 20문항으로 재구성한 학급응집력 검사도구를 사용하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 14.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단간의 동질성 여부, 실험집단과 통제집단간의 평균의 차이, 실험집단의 전-후 검사간의 평균의 차이를 알아보기 위해 t-검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 설계는 사전-사후 통제집단 설계이다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 사회적 기술 훈련을 받은 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 학급응집력 총점 및 하위요인 점수에서 유의한 향상을 보였다. 이러한 결과 는 사회적 기술 훈련이 학생들의 학급응집력(학급분위기, 상호신뢰, 사기, 일체감, 의사소통)에 긍정적인 영향을 끼침을 시사해준다. 따라서 사회적 기술 훈련은 학급응집력을 증가시킬 수 있다는 측면에서 초등학교 아동이 학급구성원들과 친밀하게 지내고 도우려는 마음을 지닐 수 있게 하는데 효과적인 전략이 될 수 있다고 생각한다.

초등학교 저학년 아동의 소리 내어 읽기가 글씨쓰기 명료도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Aloud Reading on handwriting Legibility in Low-level Elementary School Children)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 학령기 아동을 대상으로 소리 내어 읽기가 글씨쓰기 명료도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 연구대상은 초등학교 2학년 학생으로 DTVP 검사 결과 선별된 45명으로 선정하였다. 실험기간은 2015년 11월 2일부터 11월 25일까지 기초선 1회, 중재 4회, 중재 후 평가 1회로 총 6회를 실시하였다. 기초선 기간과 중재 후 평가 기간에는 글씨쓰기 명료도 평가도구를 사용하여 글씨쓰기 명료도와 속도를 측정하였다. 중재기간에는 소리내어 읽기를 하며 글씨쓰기를 하는 실험군, 글씨쓰기만을 하는 대조군1, 아무런 중재를 가하지 않은 대조군2로 나누어 실시하였다. 중재 전과 중재 후 글씨쓰기 명료도 검사를 실시하여 글씨쓰기 명료도의 변화를 알아보았다. 결과 : 글씨쓰기 중재 후, 남학생보다 여학생이 글씨쓰기 명료도가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 첫 번째 단어카드에서 대조군1은 집단 내 글씨쓰기 명료도의 차이가 유의미하게 향상되었고, 대조군2는 집단 내 글씨쓰기 명료도의 차이가 유의미하게 나타났지만 글씨쓰기 명료도 점수는 하락하였다. 두 번째 단어카드에서 실험군과 대조군1은 집단 내 글씨쓰기 명료도의 차이가 유의미하게 향상되었고, 실험군과 대조군2, 대조군1과 대조군2는 집단 간 글씨쓰기 명료도의 차이가 유의미하게 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구에서는 글씨쓰기 연습을 통해 초등학교 2학년 아동의 글씨쓰기 명료도를 향상시키는 효과가 있다는 근거를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

한국 아동 미술치료중재 프로그램 연구 동향 (The Trends of Research on Children Art Therapy Program Intervention in Korea)

  • Purpose. This study was designed to analyze recent trends in Children Art Therapy Program Intervention research in Korea and suggest future research directions in this area. Methods. Studies(29) selected from http://www.riss4u.net for last 15 year were used. They were analyzed by publication type, field and design of the study, study participants and outcome variables used in intervention studies. Results. 1. As for academic field, there are 15 art therapy academic journals(51.72%), which made up the largest proportion. 2. As for subjects of the study, there are 17 articles of Elementary (58.6%) education, which made up the largest proportion. As for the subjects of sex, 8 articles (27.59%) are for male students, 7 (24.14%) articles are for female students and 14 articles (48.28.%) are for both male and female students. 3. As for 7 articles of Art therapy(24.14%), 7 articles of Group Art therapy (24.14%) made up the largest proporton 4. As for the intervention study method according to the subjects of suicide intervention program, there are 15 articles of monoclonal Pre and post design (51.72%),which made up the largest proportion. 5. As for the sample size, there were 16.79 persons in the treatment group on average, 13.28 persons in the control group have average and the total persons were 10 on average. The treatment period was 12 weeks on average and the average number of treatment times was 18. The places of treatment were 3 schools (10.38%), which made up the largest proportion. 19. The results of the experimental study support the research hypothesis of all 29 programs. Conclusions. As the above, the studies on the art therapy intervention program for children are increasing but the subjects are overly weighted toward elementary school students. Although the content of the art therapy intervention program was varied, it was found that the development of the program using various art media which can induce the motivation of the child was lacking. In addition, the place of experimental mediation was concentrated on psychology center as 12(41.38%), indicating that there are not enough places to connect with community organizations such as schools and hospitals. The variables of experimental study were focused on psychological variables and it was found that there were insufficient application of various variables including coping method, social support, and physiological variables.

초등학생 Na 교육 효과에 관한 연구 - 사전, 사후, 추후 검증을 통한 교육효과 비교 - (The Effectiveness of Na Education Program in Elementary School - Six Month Follow-up Study -)

  • Nutrition education in elementary school is confronted with the present problem, as a legal basis about obligation of nutrition education in school was clarified. Moreover, it's also important for providing evidence based scientific resources to make a study of evaluating the education effectiveness. Most studies of the nutrition education effectiveness have evaluated the changing dietary attitude and nutritional knowledge score before and after the nutrition education, and suggested the effectiveness of intervention as changing between pre- and post-treatment. Nutrition education, however, purposing long-term changes, follow-up evaluation process about the learned attitude and knowledge of nutrition education were requested. For these reasons, this study attempted to fulfilled standardized nutrition education program which use "Na Story and Food World" and "Na Story for Me", a textbook for the 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade designed by KFDA, and analyzed the changes about the effectiveness of nutrition education happened over a period of time. In this study, each student was assessed their dietary attitude and nutritional knowledge by four periods, before the education, right after the education, after 3 months, and after 6 months. As a result, an average score of nutritional knowledge before the education, $70.08{\pm}17.91$, were changed significantly higher right after the education to $85.69{\pm}15.05$ (p < 0.001), but it lowered to $84{\pm}15.56$ after 3 month. After the nutrition education, students in all grades had positive dietary attitude to Na reduction (p < 0.001). However, the healthy eating attitude about Na reduction had been unable to maintain after 3 and 6 months. Therefore, the systematic reeducated program in elementary school was positively necessary to reinforce children's learning and cognitive skills to maintain healthy eating knowledge and attitude toward Na reduction.

확률교육에 관한 국내 연구논문의 동향 분석 (An Analysis of Domestic Research Trends of Probability Education)

  • 본 연구는 확률교육 실제의 개선 방향을 제시하기 위해 2000년 이후 출간된 국내 확률교육 연구논문 85편을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 지난 20년 동안 국내 확률교육에 관한 논문의 양이 상당히 적은 것으로 나타났으며, 인간 대상 연구가 인간 비대상 연구 비중보다는 조금 더 높았으나 더 많은 교수실험 연구가 필요함을 확인하였다. 연구 주제별 분석 결과, 독립성과 조건부확률, 조합과 세기가 많이 다루어지고 있었는데 국외에서는 이 주제들이 어린 아동들을 대상으로 다루어져야 하고 직관적인 수준에서 어떻게 교수-학습이 가능할지 많이 연구되고 있는 것에 비해, 국내에서는 대부분 고등학생 이상을 대상으로 이루어졌음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 국내 확률교육 연구의 과제와 발전 방향에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다.
