표면처리에 따른 도전성 은입자/실리콘 복합 페이스트의 응력-변형율 거동 및 전기비저항 특성 (Stress-Strain Behavior and Electrical Resistive of Conductive Silver Particle/Silicone Composite Pastes with Surface Modification)

  • 본 연구에서는 전자파 차폐용 도전성 개스킷 소재로 활용할 수 있는 은입자 충전 실리콘 복합 페이스트에 대한 전기전도성 및 응력-변형율 특성을 분석하였다. 불규칙한 구형의 은(Ag)입자와 상온습기경화형(RTV) 실리콘수지를 도입하여 복합 페이스트의 퍼콜레이션 농도(임계 농도)를 전기전도도 측정 결과로부터 결정하였다. 약 28%의 은입자 함량에서 퍼콜레이션 현상이 발생하였으며, 이 농도에서 급격한 감소를 보이는 은입자/실리콘 복합 페이스트의 체적 비저항, 인장강도 및 연신률의 특성 변화에 관하여 고찰하였다. 또한, 커플링제의 선택적 방법을 통해 퍼콜레이션 농도 이상으로 충전된 복합 페이스트의 응력-변형율 특성을 효과적으로 개선할 수 있음을 제시하여 주었다.

파티클보드에 폴리에틸렌 첨가의 효과 (Effects of Polyethylene Addition in Particleboard)

  • 저밀도 폴리에틸렌 가루를 실험실 파티클보드의 hydrophobic (소수성) 첨가제로서 사용하였다. Southem pine 파티클과 실험실에서 합성한 페놀수지를 이용하여 2가지 열압온도와 3가지 폴리에틸렌 첨가량으로 파티클보드를 제조하였다. 파티클보드의 밀도, 힘강도, 박리강도 등의 성질과 물에 대한 치수안정화에 대해 성능을 ASTM D 1037과정에 의해서 평가하였다. 평가된 결과는 폴리에틸렌 첨가량과 열압온도가 증가됨에 따라서 두께팽창률과 물흡수율은 감소한다는 것을 보여준다. 그러나 파티클보드의 물리적인 성질은 폴리에틸렌 첨가량이 증가됨에 따라 나쁜 영향을 준다. 이런 결과는 폴리에틸렌이 패널의 안정화를 개선하기 위해 오직 제한된 양만이 사용될 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.

치수절단 후 접착레진 도포에 대한 잔존치수조직 반응에 관한 연구 (THE HISTOPATHOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE RESPONSE OF THE REMAINING PULP TISSUES TO THE ADHESIVE RESIN AFTER PULPOTOMY)

  • This study was performed to observe the histopathological response to the bonding resin directly applied on the remaining pulp tissues. 40 teeth from 3 adult dogs were pulpotomized with a sterile round bur and sharp excarvater. In the control group, $Ca(OH)_2$ powder was applied on the pulp tissue and the cavities were sealed with IRM cement. In the experimental group 1, Superbond C&B was applied on the remaining pulp and the cavities conditioned with 10-3 solution were filled with the mixture of the MMA liquid, PMMA powder and Catalyst. Multi-purpose adhesive was used on the remaining pulp tissue in the experimental group 2 and Z-100 was filled in the cavities. In the experimental group 3, Clearfil photobond applied and directly photo-cured on the pulp tissue, then the cavities were treated with CA agent (10% citric acid and 20% $CaCl_2$ aqueous solution) for 20 seconds, washed and applied with Clearfil photobond then filled with Protect liner. The experimental animals were sacrified at the 1st, 2nd, and 4th week. The specimens were routinely processed and stained with H-E for light microscopic observation. The results were as followed : 1. In the experimental group 1, the number and characteristics of the dentin bridge formation case was similar to those in the control group and less cases were observed in the experimental group 2 and 3 than experimental group 3. The inflammatory response in experimental group 1 was less than that in the control group at 1st week but there had been little difference at between 2nd and 4th week. 2. The number of the dentin bridge in experimental group 2 was less than that in control group and experimental group 1. The inflammatory response of the experimental group 1 was similar to that of experimental group 1 but less than that of the control group. A number of bleeding and vascular congestion were observed. The least inflammatory response was seen in the experimental group 2 among all groups. 3. In the experimental group 3, one case of the dentin bridge formation was observed and that was the same as that in the experimental group 2 but smaller than that of the control and experimental group 1. The inflammatory response of the experimental group 3 was least at the 1st week and most at the 4th week in the all group.

Evaluation of Color Stability according to Shade of Temporary Crown Resin Using Digital Spectrophotometer: In Vitro Study

  • Background: Temporary crown resins are used prior to prosthesis placement, indicating the importance of aesthetics. The aim of this study was evaluate the color stability of various staining solutions according to the color of temporary crown resins using VITA Easyshade V. Methods: The temporary crowns used were the powder-liquid type and included four shades. A total of 36 specimens were fabricated in the form of disks with a diameter of 1.8 mm and a depth of 2 mm. They were divided into four groups of nine each, and staining was performed for seven days by precipitation in 3 mL of three staining solutions composed of distilled water, black coffee, and red wine. Color and color stability evaluations were performed by a trained examiner using a digital spectrophotometer (VITA Easyshade V). Color stability was analyzed using the ΔE value. Results: Because of the color stability evaluation using the ΔE value, the difference between three and seven days was significant in the specimen I and III groups (p<0.05). Further, post hoc analysis showed that the ΔE value of red wine was significant, indicating that the color stability in red wine was low. The ΔE values in group II between days three and seven were statistically significant (p<0.05). Post hoc analysis showed that distilled water, coffee, and wine had the highest ΔE values on day three. On day seven, the ΔE value for wine was significant, and the color stability was low. There was no significant difference in group IV according to the staining period and staining solution; therefore, color stability was high (p>0.05). Conclusion: This study showed that most temporary resin restorations exhibited color stability in the staining solution. The darker the color of the temporary resin restoration, the higher the color stability against extrinsic staining.

  • 원소의 고순도분리는 동위원소계 연구의 기초가 된다. 이 기술보고에서는 Sm-Nd 연대측정법에 중요한 원소군인 Sm과 Nd의 원소분리에 자주 이용되고 있는 HDEHP를 이용한 테플론분말(란탄-레진)법과 Sm-Nd 동위원소계 및 La-Ce 동위원소계의 연구를 위한 원소분리법인 ${\alpha}$-HIBA(${\alpha}$-Hydroxy Isobutyric acid)법의 장단점을 한국지질자원연구원(KIGAM), 기초과학지원연구원(KBSI), 극지연구소(KOPRI) 및 일본 나고야대학과 같은 각 기관별 용리곡선을 통해 비교 소개하였다. 동위원소 지구화학연구를 위한 이 고순도의 원소분리법 비교는 Sm-Nd계 및 La-Ce계 동위원소 지구화학연구자의 실험법 선택에 많은 도움을 줄 것이다.

폐 FRP/석분슬러지 충전 복합재의 제조 및 기계적 물성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preparation ana Mechanical Properties of Composites Reinforced FRP Waste and Rock-Crush Sludge)

  • SMC 욕조 생산 시 발생하는 폐 FRP와 석재 가공공정에서 발생되는 석분슬러지를 재활용하기 위하여 불포화에스테르 매트릭스 수지에 분말 충전하여 복합재를 제조하였다. 또한 충전제와 매트릭스 간의 계면결합력을 향상시키기 위해 석분을 실란 커플링제 ${\gamma}$-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysiiane (${\gamma}$-MPS)로 전처리하여 복합재를 제조하고 기계적 물성 및 계면현상을 관찰하였다. 복합재의 굴곡탄성율은 석분함량이 10 wt%, 실란커플링제의 농도가 3 wt%일 때 가장 우수하였으며 석분 충전량이 증가함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 또한 복합재의 초기 열분해온도는 352~359$^{\circ}C$이었으며 이 온도에서 중량감소율은 약 3%로 충전제의 양에 관계없이 거의 일정한 경향을 보였다. ${\gamma}$-MPS 처리에 따른 복합재의 물성변화를 관찰한 결과 충전제와 매트릭스 수지간 계면결합력이 증진되어 물리 화학적으로 안정한 결합을 이루고 있고 pull out현상이 발생하지 않음을 확인할 수 있었다.

콘포멀 스프레이 코팅으로 형성한 EMI 차단막의 차폐효과 개선 (Improvement for Shielding Effectiveness of EMI Shield Layers using Conformal Spray Coating Scheme)

  • 콘포멀 스프레이 코팅으로 형성한 EMI 차단막으로 차폐효과(SE)를 얼마나 개선할 수 있는지 연구하였다. 차단막을 형성하는데 사용한 재료는 도체 분말을 아크릴계 바인더에 혼합한 금속-레진 복합재료이며, 금속분말로는 은(Ag)과 니켈(Ni)을 비교하였다. 재료의 점도는 400 cPs와 100 cPs에서 차폐성능을 비교하였다. 차단막의 두께는, 은의 경우 20 um에서 50 um, 니켈의 경우 60 um에서 120 um로 만들어 비교하였다. 차폐효과의 측정은 동축형 표준 측정기를 이용하여 ASTM D4935 방법으로 수행하였다. 니켈 시료보다 은 시료의 차폐효과가 우수했다. 차폐효과는 차단막 두께와 비례해 증가하지만 35 um 이상에서 더 이상 증가하지 않는다는 사실도 관찰하였다. 가장 차폐효과가 좋은 경우는 35 um 두께 은 시료 차단막으로, 63 dB의 차폐효과가 측정되었다.

얇은 필름 형태의 알파선 측정용 ZnS(Ag) 섬광 검출소재 제조 연구 (Study on preparation of a thin film type of ZnS(Ag) scintillator sheet for alpha-ray detection)

  • ZnS(Ag) 섬광체와 광전자증배관(PMT)으로 구성된 검출기는 원자력시설에서 알파선 측정용 장치로 많이 사용되고 있다. 이들 검출기는 대부분이 분말 상태의 ZnS(Ag) 섬광체를 투명한 플라스틱 소재 위에 얇게 발라서 제조한다. 본 연구에서는 간단한 방법을 이용하여 ZnS(Ag) 섬광 검출소재를 제조하기 위한 조건을 확립하였다. 검출소재는 지지체 고분자 필름과 ZnS(Ag) 섬광층로 구성된 이중구조로 제조하였으며, 지지체 필름은 고분자 소재를 녹인 후 casting 방법으로 제조하였고, ZnS(Ag) 섬광층은 접착제에 ZnS(Ag) 분말을 첨가하여 screen printing 기법으로 제조하였다. 이와 같은 제조공정을 이용하여 다양한 소재에 대한 평가 결과, 지지체 필름의 고분자 소재로서는 PSf이 가장 우수하였고, 접착제로서는 cyano resin이 가장 적합하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 제조한 섬광 검출소재는 충분한 기계적 강도와 섬광체로서의 우수한 투명도를 가진다는 것을 확인하였으며, 알파선 검출 성능도 확인하였다.

의치상의 종류에 따른 상악 의치상의 유지력에 관한 임상적 연구 (A CLINICAL STUDY ON THE RETENTION OF MAXILLARY COMPLETE DENTURE WITH DIFFERENT DENTURE BASE MATERIALS)

  • For the successful treatment of complete denture, obtaining a good retention is essential. There are lots of factors affecting denture retention. Denture material, one of those factors affecting denture retention, was the subject of this study, and internal surface treatment also considered for the method of enhancing denture retention. Two resin(Lucitone $199^{(R)}$(heat cured resin) Vertex $CP^{(R)}$(self cured resin)) and two metal($Biosil^{(R)}$(Co-Cr alloy), $Vitallium^{(R)}$(Co-Cr alloy)) denture base materials were used for making test denture base. Newly developed device was used for measuring denture retention. After the retention was measured. We treated internal surface of test denture base with $50{\mu}m\;Al_2O_3$ powder, under 90psi, for 1 minute. Then the retention was measured again. The result was analyzed with K-S test, one-way ANOVA test and independent t-test to deter mine the significant differences as the 95% level of confidence. The results are as follows : In cases of without internal surface treatment, the retention was increased in order of $Vitallium^{(R)},\;Biosil^{(R)},\;Vertex CP^{(R)}$ and Lucitone $199^{(R)}$. Except between Vertex $CP^{(R)}$ and $Biosil^{(R)}$, retention of the other materials was significantly different (p<0.05). After the treatment of internal surface, the retention was increased in order of $Vitallium^{(R)},\;Biosil^{(R)},\;Lucno\;199^{(R)},\;Vertex\;CP^{(R)}$. Except between Lucitone $199^{(R)}$ and Vertex $CP^{(R)}$, $Vitallium^{(R)}$ and $Biosil^{(R)}$ the retention of remaining groups was significantly different each other (p<0.05). In the matter of each material, after the internal surface treatment the retention was increased with Vertex $CP^{(R)},\;Biosil^{(R)}\;and\;Vitallium^{(R)}$ and the value of differences were statistically significant. When we compare the retention of resin and metal denture base, the retention of both denture bases increased significantly with internal surface treatment, and resin denture base showed better retention. As the results show, selecting denture base material could be an important choice of complete denture treatment. To increase denture retention, internal surface treatment can be considered as a possible method.

ENHANCED BIOAVAILABILITY OF NIFEDIPINE USING COATED DRY ELIXIR

  • The purpose of this study was to prepare the nifedipine dry elixir (NDE) and coated nifedipine dry elixir (CNDE) containing nifedipine ethanol solution for improving the dissolution rate and bioavailability of nifedipine. NDE containing nifedipine and ethanol in wall materials of dextrin was prepared using a spray-dryer and then NDE was coated with eudragit acrylic resin to make CNDE. Shape and size of the NDE and CNDE were monitored by scanning electron micrograph and laser particle size analyzer In vitro dissolution tests were performed in simulated gastric and intestinal fluid. Bioavailability of NDE and CNDE were compared with drug powder suspension and commercial soft capsule after oral administration of the preparations to rats. NDE and CNDE are spherical in shape. Cross-sectional view of dry elixirs indicates the large inter cavity containing ethanolic drug solution in shell. Geometric mean diameter of NDE and CNDE is about 6.64 and 8.70 $\mu\textrm{m}$, respectively. Drug dissolution rate within first 5 min from NDE increased dramatically irrespective of dissolution medium. However, CNDE showed a particularly retarded dissolution rate in pH 1.2 simulated gastric fluid compared with NDE. The bioavailability of nifedipine in the NDE was increased dramatically compared with drug powder suspension. CNDE reduced initial burst-out plasma peak compared with NDE. CNDE as a sustained release delivery system could reduce the initial burst-out plasma peak due to controlling the release rate of nifedipine from NDE and maintain the effective plasma level over a longer period within therapeutic window with enhanced bioavailability of nifedipine.
