철과 구리 이온으로 산화 촉진시킨 난황유 모델시스템에서 Phosvitin의 항산화 효과 (The Influence of Phosvitin on the Inhibition of Iron-, and Copper-catalyzed Oxidation in Egg Oil Model System)

  • Phosvitin, an iron chelating protein in egg yolk, was measured for its ability to inhibit lipid oxidation in egg oil model system. Phosvitin(75$\mu$M) could inhibit both iron(50∼150$\mu$M) and copper(5∼15$\mu$M) catalyzed oxidation of egg oil, and much more effective in the presence of iron than copper. The antioxidant activity of phosvitin in egg oil decreased with increasing temperature up to 121$\^{C}$. But phosvitin was relatively heat stable maintaining 79 and 73% of its antioxidant activity after being heated for 6 min at 100$\^{C}$ and 2 min at 121$\^{C}$, respectively.

산란계 사료내 Cu-Methionine chelate 첨가가 생산성과 난황 cholesterol에 미치는 영향

  • Seven hundred twenty 56 wks old ISA brown layers were assigned to five dietary treatments for 12 weeks. Each treatment was consisted of 6 replications with 24 birds. Control diet was formulated to have 15% CP, 2800kcal/kg ME, 3.8% Ca and Cu-methionine chelate(Cu-Met) were added to control diet at the level of 25, 50, 75, 100ppm in Cu. Supplementation of 25, 75, 100ppm Cu in from of Cu-Met s increased egg productions by 2.11, 3.84, 3.66%, compare with control. Egg weight also increased by supplementation of Cu at 50, 75, 100ppm in Cu-Met. Gizzard erosion tened to increase by supplementary Cu-Met but were not significantly different. Supplementation of Cu at the level of 75, 100ppm Cu-Met treatments decreased crude fat level in liver. It concludes that supplementation of Cu at level in the form of 75 or 100ppm methionine chelate improves egg production with heavier egg weight and decreases crude fat content in the liver.

목탁액의 첨가.급여가 산란계의 생산성에 미치는 영향

  • The Effects of Dietary Supplemental Charcoal Extract (CE) were examined on performance of 19-week-old ISA Brown hens for 12weeks. Four hundred and fifty were randolmy assigned to 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1% dietary CE, respectively with five replicates of 18 hens per pen. Basal diets contained 17.5% CP and 2,800 ME. Egg production egg weight, feed conversion(FC), and egg qualities were measured in every four weeks. Egg production and FC was slightly improved in 0.05% supplemental CE group compared to that of other treatments, but was not signhificant different. Average egg weight was significantly higher in 0.025% and 0.1% than other treatments(P<0.05). Total egg mass tended to be higher in 0.05% supplementation. Daily feed intake increased in 0.1% supplementation than the others, but was not statistically different. Eggshell breaking strength and Haugh unit were tended to be higher in 0.05% supplementation. There were no significant difference in eggshell thickness and yolk color of all treatments.

약용 식물 가공 부산물의 첨가가 산란계의 생산성 및 난질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Medicinal Plant by-products on Egg Production and Egg Quality in Laying Hens)

  • 본 실험은 약용 식물 가공 부산물의 산란계에 대한 급여 효과를 시험하기 위해 수행되었다. 95주령의 산란계 560수를 7처리 4반복으로 반복당 20수씩 배치하여 12주간 사육하면서 동충하초, 인진쑥, 울금 가공 부산물을 각각 1.5%, 3.0% 를 사료에 혼합 급여하였다. 산란율은 전 기간에 걸쳐 처리 구간에 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 사료 섭취량과 평균 난중도 영향을 받지 않았다. 난각 두께, 난각 강도, 난각 색, 난황색에 있어서도 역시 처리구간 유의차가 나타나지 않았으나, Haugh unit 에 있어서는 대조구에 비해 모든 약용식 물 처리구에서 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 실험 결과를 종합할 때, 동충하초, 인진쑥, 울금 가공 부산물을 산란계 사료 내 $1.5{\sim}3.0%$ 첨가 급여시 사료 섭취량, 산란율에는 영향을 미치지 않았으며, Haugh unit 에 있어서 유의적으로 향상되는 결과를 나타내어 고품질 계란 생산 및 약용식물 가공 부산물의 사료 자원화 가능성을 보여주었다.

육용종계의 산란능력과 수정율에 관한 연구 (Study on the Relationship Between Egg Production and Fertility in Broiler Breeder)

  • 육용종계의 수정률을 향상시키기 위한 기초연구로서 산란능력과 수정율간의 상관관계를 분석하기 위하여 GPS 5계통을 가지고 실험한 결과 다음과 같은 성적을 얻었다. 1. 30주령에서 60주령까지의 평균산란율은 60.5-65.2%를 나타냈고 평균수정율과 평균란중은 각각 82.7-87.9%, 61.79-64.79$\ell$을 나타냈으며 산란율과 수정율은 일정한 주령에서 최대점을 나타내고 이후 감소하는 양상을 나타냈다.

소음의 크기와 면역음 제공이 산란계의 생산성에 미치는 영향

  • 소음크기별 산란율은 무소음구 84.56%, 75dB 소음구 83.67%, 100dB 소음구 79.17%로 무소음구 대비 T1, T2구에서 각각 1.1%, 6.4%의 산란율이 저하되었고, 난중에서는 100dB 소음구에서 무소음구에 비해 1.4%의 감소가 있었다. 수당 사료섭취량과 음수량은 무소음구에 비해 소음처리구가 모두 낮았다. 면역음 효과 비교시 산란율은 단순소음구가 79.4%, 면역 소음구가 80.3%였으며 난중에서도 소음구 59.95g, 면역음구 60.87g 으로 면역음 제공구가 산란율과 난중에서 약간 높은 것으로 나타났다.

건강을 생각하는 계란과 닭고기 생산을 위한 지방산 조성방안 (Manipulating the Fatty Acid Composition of Eggs and Poultry Meat for the Human Health)

  • Among polyunsaturated fatty acids (PURAs) targeted for manipulation in animal tissues (poultry eggs and meat), omega-3 PUFAs(n-3 PUFAs) are discussed in this review. 3 or 5% dietary menhaden oil (MO) supplemented layer diets was reported to increase docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) contents in the egg. MO at 1.5% also increased the deposition of up to 180mg total omega-3 fatty acids / yolk. Utilization of 5% ground flax seed (FS) resulted in similar total omega-3 fatty acid (FA) deposition as 1.5% MO. However, the basic feed formulations used in the Canadian feed industry usually include 10 to 20% FS in the egg laying diets. Recently several studies reported that addition of tocopherols in layer diets increased the tocopherol content more in the egg than any other tissue. One of reports said that 3.5% dietary oil with added tocopherols resulted in increasing tocopherol deposition and FA composition of the egg and other tissues. In the poultry meat, redfish meal (RM;4, 8, 12, 15 and 30% of diet) or redfish oil (RO;2.1 or 4.2% of diet) added to the practical corn-wheat-soybean based diets resulted in an increase in omega-3 FA and docosapentaenoic acid (DPA) contents in broiler meat lipids. Linseed oil (LO;1.0, 2.5, and 5.0% of broiler diet) supplemented in broiler diets also resulted in omega-3 FA and the ratio of omega-6 being significantly higher in poultry meat lipid than MO. Concern about fish flavor resulted in research about fish oil (FO) supplementation in broiler diets. Without the use of antioxidants, no more than 1.5% FO should be fed to broilers due to unacceptable orders from the chicken carcasses. One recent research project found that over 50mg/kg of vitamin E was required for maintaining the stability of unsaturated lipids in the meat. In regards to 'fishy'or 'crabby'taint in the eggs and poultry meat, poultry products remained acceptable when dietary fish oils were stabilized with antioxidants.
