  • Before COVID-19 outbreak in 2019, it is the core value of airline's service to provide check-in service to passengers face to face. However, due to the global pandemic of COVID-19 outbreak, it is expected the airline service in the future would be dramatically changed from being contacted to being untacted with technology-based self service(TBSS). This paper analyzed the perception of passengers using self service technology and their acceptance. According to empirical analysis, it was found that the change of passengers' perception after COVID-19 has a significant positive effect on the innovation of TBSS. The innovation of TBSS(Effectiveness and certainty) had both significant positive effect on the passengers' acceptance on TBSS at airport. Among variables of TBSS, convenience rather than usefulness of TBSS had a significant positive effect on intention to use TBSS of passengers. It was proposed that airlines not only contribute to increase acceptance of TBSS but also inform and promote the prevention effect of TBSS and the importance of untact service to minimize congestion at check-in counter in airport.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the main and interaction effects of mothers' parental internal attributions and neuroticism on self-perception of the parental role. Methods: A total of 138 mothers with toddlers in Seoul and other big cities in Korea completed questionnaires, and data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analyses. Results: The results were as follows: First, mothers who attributed their successful parenting to ability showed lower satisfaction, and mothers who attributed their successful parenting to ability and effort showed higher feelings of equilibrium. Mothers with higher levels of neuroticism showed higher competence, parental investment, and satisfaction in their self-perception of the parental role. Second, there were significant interaction effects between ability attribution and neuroticism on feelings of equilibrium, between effort attribution and neuroticism on feelings of equilibrium, between ability attribution and neuroticism on competence, and between effort attribution and neuroticism on parenting investment. Conclusion: The findings of this research indicate that neuroticism showed a positive effect on self-perception of the parental role because neuroticism indicates sensitivity in parenting. Further, the effects of neuroticism on self-perception of the parental role differed by mothers internal attribution.

  • Purpose: With the rapid increase in information technology in the medical environment, protection of patient's privacy is a crucial issue to hospital nurses. The purpose of this study was to determine neonatal nurses' perception and performance of behavior to protect patient privacy, and professional self-concept, and to investigate the relationships among these variables. Methods: The participants in this descriptive correlation study were 182 nurses in nursery and neonatal intensive care units using EMR or OCS in November, 2011. Results: Perception and performance averaged 4.61 and 4.04 (out of 5) respectively, and the average score for professional self-concept was 2.73 (out of 4). There was a significant difference between perception and performance. The performance of behaviour to protect patient privacy had a positive correlation with perception and professional self-concept. Multiple regression analysis showed that the key determinants of performance were recognition of necessity of patient privacy education, professional self-concept and perception, and these explained 36% of the total variance of performance. Conclusion: Study results indicate a need to establish policy to protect privacy of neonates and their families, and to develop educational programs to enhance neonatal nurses' perception and performance.

The results are summarized as follows; 1. General characteristics of the students When the students applied for the university, they decided what they would specialized in. Because the motive of application for their major was simply based on their high school records, they were admitted to their university without previous knowledge of their major. The reason why they wanted to tranfer to another course after the admission was the same as above. The level of satisfaction of their major was the highest in Freshman, but in other grades the higher the;, grades were, the more they satisfied with their major and they had a better prospects about their speciality. 2. Self-concept in profermance for their major Self-concept in horne aspects was more positive perception than in social aspects & self control aspects. As their grades were higher, the self-concept in social aspects bacame higher. The students who were satisfied with their major and took counsel their personal problems with their parents had more positive self - concept in social aspects. Self-concept in self control aspects was lower than other aspects. The students who didn't take counsel their problems with their parents, were burdened with their educational expenses and their curriculum had more negative self-concept in self control aspects. Therefore the university should be concerned about student's welfare and provide detailed orientation about their curriculum. 3. Teacher's perception about learner's professional role The role model of democratic group leader, role models for learners facilitator in a students' reach for knowledge and teaching based on soundly researched theory showed more positive perception than other factors. • The purpose of the present study was to present evidence for driving interventions for the elderly by conducting programs that can improve visual perception and cognitive function in a driving simulator for elderly drivers and analyse their effects. Three elderly subjects who were 65 years or older, did not have physical and cognitive impairments, and were able to drive themselves participated in the present study. A total of 12 intervention sessions, of which subjects participated in 10 sessions of nine different visual perception and cognitive function programs available in a driving simulator, were conducted and pre- and post-program assessments were conducted (two assessments in total). The assessments included the evaluation of visual perception, frontal lobe function, concentration, safe driving behaviour, and self-efficacy. The results showed positive effects of the driving simulator program on the visual perception, frontal lobe function, concentration, safe driving behaviour, and self-efficacy of all subjects. Changes in the simulator results showed remarkable improvement in the response evaluation, judgment evaluation, and predictive power evaluation, but showed difficulties in interference tasks and depth perception in common. The results showed positive effects of driving simulator training on the driving ability of the elderly, and consistent provision of such training is expected to improve the quality of life of the elderly by securing the safety of driving and actively supporting social participation.

  • This study investigates aggressive children's perceptions of their social acceptance in conjunction with peer ratings of social acceptance. The subjects were 520 children in the fifth through sixth grades. Children completed questionnaires that assessed self-perceptions of social acceptance. In addition, they completed peer nominations that assessed peer victimization, aggression, and peer acceptance, while their teachers rated children's externalizing problems. The results suggest that aggressive children's self-perceived social acceptance is inflated in relation to the ratings of their peers. For aggressive-rejected children, a highly positive self-perception was shown to be not a protective factor, but rather a defensive posture that places the children at added risk.
