선박의 안전을 위한 최적 항로배치 및 항로폭 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study On the Safe Width and Alignment of the Navigational Channel)

  • Although the studies carried out in recent years have provied much new information about channel widths and alignment, they are not consistent in their results. In addition, as a result of variations in local condition and type of traffic accommodated, the dimensions of the channel widths vary over a wide range. Therefore, the recommendation made by the maritime engineering organizations over the world, do not offer detailed and decisive optimal design criteria and are all different. It, therefore, was attempted in this paper to draw a decisive guideline on the optimal widths and alignment of the navigational channels, which can be utilized by the port designers at the stage of the planning. The guideline was drawn through the comparison and analysis of the existing guidelines of the U.S.A, Japan and PIANC and simulation experiment. The simulation experiment was carried out using the "Off Line Port and Waterway Design Simulator" to find the optimal dimensions of the widths of the navigational channels. 90 different simulation runs were conducted at the 3 different secenario channels. New guidelines, the result of the study, is expected to be used usefully by the Korean port designers when designing the rapodly developing ports in Korea. in Korea.

  • 본 논문에서는 six port 를 사용한 실시간 디지털 직접 변환 수신기를 소개하고 실제 six port 구조를 이용해 구현된 직접 변환 수신기의 성능을 분석한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 송신단과 수신단의 위상 오류를 보정하고 랜덤한 채널 잡음 환경에서도 성능의 저하가 크지 않다. 다음으로는 위상 오류 추정 방법을 사용하여 수신기에서의 성능 향상을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해서 살펴보았다.

국내 무역항 항로의 등부표 시인거리와 배치에 관한 이용자 분석 (The User Analysis for Visual Range and Arrangement of Light-buoy on the Channel of the Domestic Trade-port)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 무역항 항로에 배치되는 등부표의 최적 배치에 대한 기준을 설정하기 위한 기초자료로서 항해자들을 대상으로 등부표의 시인거리와 배치에 대한 선호를 분석하였다. 무역항의 각 규모를 감안하여 항만별로 약 $30{\sim}150$부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 총 356부의 유효한 설문지가 분석에 사용되었다. 육안으로 청명한 날씨의 주간에 부표를 인지하는 거리는 $2{\sim}4$마일이 55.0%로 가장 많았다. 부표의 배치방식에서는 양측 부표방식의 선호가 62.1%로써 가장 높았다 또한 부표의 전후사이의 선호 간격은 평균 1.09마일이었다 쌍안경 없이 시인할 수 있는 부표의 기수는 2기가 40.6%로 가장 선호되었다.

선박재항시간에 대한 분석연구 -인천항의 경우- (An Analysis of Ship Turnaround Time in the Port of Inchon)

  • Transportation provides an infrastructure vital to economic growth, and it is also an integral part of production. As a port is regarded as the interface between the maritime transport and domestic transport sectors, it certainly play a key role in any economic development. Ship's delay caused by port congestion has recently has recently attracted attended with the analysis of overall operation in port. In order to analyse complicated port operation which contains large number of variable factors, queueing theory is needed to be adopted, which is applicable to a large scale transportation system in chiding ship's delay in Inchon port in relation to ship's delay problem. The overall findings are as follows ; 1. The stucture of queueing model in this port can be represented as a complex of multi-channel single-phase 2. Ship's arrival and service pattern were Poisson Input Erlangian Service. 3. The suitable formula to calculate the mean delay in this port, namely, $W_q={\frac{{\rho}}{{\lambda}(1-{\rho})}}{\frac{e{\small{N}}({\rho}{\cdot}N)}{D_{N-1}({\rho}{\cdot}N)}}$ Where, ${\lambda}$ : mean arrival rate ${\mu}$ : mean servicing rate N : number of servicing channel ${\rho}$ : utilization rate (l/Nm) $e{\small{N}}$ : the Poisson function $D_{(n-1)}$ : a function of the cumulative Poisson function 4. The utility rate is 95.0 percents in general piers, 75.39 percents in container piers, and watiting time 28.43 hours in general piers, 13.67 hours in container piers, and the length of queue is 6.17 ships in general piers, 0.93 ships in container piers, and the ship turnaround time is 107.03 hours in general piers, 51.93 hours in container piers.

수중음향통신에서 효율적인 패킷 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Packet Design for Underwater Acoustic Communication)

  • 수중에서의 통신은 해수면과 해저면 등에 의한 신호의 반사가 생겨 다중경로 전달현상이 발생한다. 이러한 다중경로 전달의 영향으로 신호는 왜곡되고 원활한 수신을 방해하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 다중경로 환경에서 효율적인 패킷 설계를 위하여 채널 부호화 기법으로는 부호화 후의 크기 N = 1944 비트, 전송하고자 하는 데이터의 크기 K = 972 비트를 가지는 부호화율 1/2 인 LDPC(Low Density Parity Check codes) 부호를 이용하였으며, 다중경로로 인한 위상 오차 추정은 decision directed 방식을 이용하여 위상 추정을 하였다. 실제 동해 바다에서 송수신 거리가 200m, 500m 그리고 데이터 속도를 1Kbps, 4Kbps로 설정하여 각 거리 및 데이터 속도에 따른 QEF(Quasi Error Free)가 되는 지점에서의 최적의 패킷 구성을 위한 데이터 길이를 제시하였다.

수로에 있어서 선박조종의 퍼지학습제어 (On the Control of Ship Maneuvering in Channel by Introducing the Fuzzy Neural Network)

  • Studies on the ship's automatic navigation & berthing control have been continued by way of solving the ship's mathematical model, but the results of such studies have not reached to our satisfactory level due to its non-linear characteristics at low speed. In this paper, the authors propose a new control system which can evaluate as closely as captain's decision-making by using the FNN(Fuzzy Neural Network) controller which can simulate captain's knowledge. This controller contains the concept of safety according to channel width. The learning data are drawn from ship Handling simulator(NavSim NMS-90 MK III) and represent the ship motion characteristics internally. According to learning procedure, the FNN controller can tune membership functions and identify fuzzy control rules automatically. The verified results show that the FNN controller is effective to incorporate captain's knowledge and experience of manoeuvrability in channel.

목포항 운송시스템의 분석에 관한 연구 (On the Analysis of Transportation System in Mokpo Port)

  • Rapid change in the technological environment of marine transportation and the development of the ocean shipping industry have fostered a revolution in the port system. This in turn has caused major changes in the function and use of port in Korea. Aside from this. Mokpo Port, however continues to decline, because the existing port facilities and related subsystem are already obsolete with no chance of regaining operational effectiveness and treatment for proper implementation. Although a few studies have been done on the Mokpo Port, has not been found, any reseach for the analytical approach to the transportation system of it. This paper aims to make an extensive analysis of the physical distribution system in Mokpo Port focusing on the coordination of subsystems such as navigational aids system, quay handling and transfer system, storage system and inland transport system. The base of introduced simulation tool here is the queueing theory. The overall findings are as follows; 1. Among those vessels called at Mokpo Port in 1994, the average size of oceangoing vessels is 4,922.1 G/T, and the domestic is 317.8 G/T. The average arrival interval and service time of the domestic vessels are 6.0 hours and 24.1 hours respectively marking the berth occupation rate over 100%. Those for oceangoing vessels are 34.5 hours, 120.0 hours and 37.2%. In order to maintainin the berth occupation rate to 70% the capacity considering the 1994 of domestic piers must be extended to 145% and oceangoing vessels must be increased to 165% year called. 2. The capacity of approaching channel is enough to handle the total traffic volume. 3. Tugs are sufficiently being provided to handle all ships requiring their services 4. The capacity of storage and inland transportation systems are sufficient to handle the throughput and the yard stroage utilization rate of No.1 $\cdots$ No.5 is 4.5% and No.6 1S 30% of 1993's. 5. The utilization rate of LLc(Level Looping Crane) and PNT(PNeumaTic) are 2.7% and 18.8%, respectively. Practical solution and proposal for improvement of Transportation System in Mokpo Port are as follows; 1. To avoid the congestion in domestic pier introduction of a new port operation system is necessary allowing the domestic vessel to use the oceangoing pier. 2. To establish the port management information system to improve the efficiency of port operation. 3. To build a new storage system for high valued cargos including modernization of the present storage and handling system. 4. To insure the safety of navigation in approaching channel, The Vessel Traffic System including separation scheme is introduced. 5. To interest enormously on public relation to ship owner's association, shippers and consignees by showing that they can save cost and ship turnaround time in order to promote the call to Mokpo Port. At last, to be strategically change the function of Mokpo Port to the Leisure, Fishing & Ferry as well as Maritime port.

진해 용원수로의 COD 및 영양염류 농도 추세분석 (Trend Analysis of the COD and Nutrients Concentrations in the Yongwon Channel, Chinhae)

  • 부산 신항 개발사업으로 형성된 용원수로는 좁고 긴 형태로 해수흐름이 정체되어 환경악화가 우려되는 지역이다. 본 연구에서는 2003년부터 2007년까지의 월별 관측 자료를 이용하여 용원수로의 수질변화 양상을 분석하였다. 추정된 연평균 농도와 오차범위를 분석한 결과 용원수로 내부가 용원수로 입구에 비하여 전반적으로 뚜렷하게 수질이 악화되어 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 수로 입구의 수질농도를 기준으로 수로 내부의 수질농도는 COD, TN, TP 항목의 경우 각각 1.34배, 2.08배, 1.80배로 높은 것으로 파악되었다. 한편, Mann-Kendall 방법을 이용한 오염물질 농도변화의 추세검정 결과, 일반적으로 사용되는 95% 신뢰수준에서 추세를 가지는 경우는 SW-26 지점 TP 항목(증가추세)을 제외하고는 모두 뚜렷한 변화 추세는 없는(엄밀한 통계적인 용어로는 "있지 않은") 것으로 파악되었다.

  • 무선 다중경로 채널에서 데이터를 고속으로 전송할 경우, 신호는 페이딩, 심볼간 간섭 등의 영향으로 높은 에러율을 갖게 된다. 그러므로 현재 개발된 DSRC(dedicated short-range communication) 시스템의 변복조 방식은 1 Mbps이상의 데이터 서비스가 어려울 것으로 예상되므로 새로운 채널등화 기법 및 개선된 변복조 방식이 요구된다. OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 방식은 보호간격의 삽입을 통하여 ISI를 방지할 수 있으므로 고속 데이터 전송에 적합하다. 그러나 보호기간이 OFDM 방식에서의 각각의 심볼주기에 사용되는 채널지연 확산보다 길어지므로 채널활용의 효율성에서 상당한 손실이 야기된다. 그러므로 등화기를 고속의 데이터 전송율과 긴 채널 지연확산 조건을 가지는 ITS(intelligent transport system)에 적용하기 위해서는 ISI(inter symbol interference)를 제거할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 OFDM-DSRC 시스템을 위한 채널 등화기를 설계하였으며, 다중경로 페이딩 환경에서 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 성능을 분석하였다.

A Study on Minimum Number of Ship-handling Simulation Required for Evaluating Vessel's Proximity Measure

  • The Korean government has introduced and enforced maritime traffic safety assessment to secure traffic safety since 2010. The maritime traffic safety assessment is needed by law to design a new port or modify an existing one. According to Korea Maritime Safety Act, in the assessment the propriety of marine traffic system consists of the safety of channel transit and berthing/unberthing maneuver, safety of mooring, and safety of marine traffic flow. The safety of channel transit and berthing/unberthing maneuver can be evaluated only by ship-handling simulation. The ship-handling simulation is carried out by sea pilots working with the port concerned. The vessel's proximity measure is an important factor to evaluate traffic safety. The proximity measure is composed of vessel's closest distance to channel boundary and probability of grounding/collision. What is more, the probability of grounding becomes important. According to central limit theorem, a sample has a normal distribution on condition that its size is more than 30. However, more than 30 simulation runs bring about the increase of assessment period and difficulty of employing sea pilots. Therefore this paper is to find out minimum sample size for evaluating vessel's proximity. First sample sets of size of 3, 5, 7, 9 etc. are selected randomly on the basis of normal distribution. And then KS test for goodness of fit and t-test for confidence interval are applied to each sample set. Finally this paper decides the minimum sample size. As a result this paper suggests the minimum sample size of 5, that is, the simulation of more than five times.
