  • This paper proposes a technique to determine the spam comments on YouTube, which have recently seen tremendous growth. On YouTube, the spammers appeared to promote their channels or videos in popular videos or leave comments unrelated to the video, as it is possible to monetize through advertising. YouTube is running and operating its own spam blocking system, but still has failed to block them properly and efficiently. Therefore, we examined related studies on YouTube spam comment screening and conducted classification experiments with six different machine learning techniques (Decision tree, Logistic regression, Bernoulli Naive Bayes, Random Forest, Support vector machine with linear kernel, Support vector machine with Gaussian kernel) and ensemble model combining these techniques in the comment data from popular music videos - Psy, Katy Perry, LMFAO, Eminem and Shakira.

  • This study is on the costumes for Korean traditional play, Nong-ak(farm music), and intends to analyze their aesthetic features, laying emphasis on Pilbong Nong-ak, Im sil, Chollanam-do. About its origin there are many kinds of theories; for example, the theory of hoping stability, the theory of it being related with Buddhism, the theory of martial music, etc. Shamanic, Buddhist, and martical fators that support these theories are expressed through flags, bells, drums, Deograe (half-coats), Cheonrips (sang-mo, felf hats), go-kkals(peaked hats), colored lines called 'ga-sa', which are used in Nong-ak. The characteristic of the costumes used in Pilbong Nong-ak is that it keeps its conservativeness and the costumes of its members are various and splendid. For example, leader groups' black half coats, Changbu's and Hwa-dong's red and bule over coats are remarkable. Particpants wear gok-kal or cheonrip, trousers and half coats which are the basic costumes of Korean Hanbok, and wear blak half coats or blue vests and put blue, red, and yellow lines around them. The colors and knotting methods of those lines in this region are the same with those of chollawoo-do and Kyongi province, but different form those of Kongwon and Kyong-sang province using green, red, and yellow colors. This comparison of colors shows each region's preference of peculiar colors and those colors coincide with colors used in flags. The research on the aesthetic characteristics of Nong-ak clothes through each region's clothes tells us that these can be linear clothes which have expressiveness as stage clothes used in Madangori, the play which is performed in the field, and modern spatial formativeness. Those characteristics are as follows; 1. The expressions of a rhythmical and daring round line by turning a long line of sang-mo. 2. Various rhythms according to the attaching methods. 3. The expressions of thick, simple, and daring color lines. 4. Natural beauty of materials. 5. The popular simplicity and non-technicality 6. The beauty of five-direction colors, Oriental ideal colors Consequently in this study our national consciousness of beauty are examined through clothes. It is suggested that the aesthetic characteristics of Nong-ak clothes and ornaments should be effectively expressed, for this purpose. interests in participants' clothes should be increased in order to prevent the confusion of each region's features. Also it is necessary to improve color lines, their length, width, and knotting methods, and beautify instrument. Finally this study intends to bring the reappraisal about the art of Nong-ak clothes and its re-establishment in view of modern aesthetic consciousness.

First, the strong/non-competent participants did not compete with each other, but rather the strong/skilled players competed against each other. This trot audition set the singing ability as a new 'discourse on sincerity'. Second, we broke away from the 'demon editing', which was considered essential for audition programs, took a strategy of excluding villains. Third, we broke the practice of audition programs that were supposed to show expertise in specific genres, such as idol music, hip-hop, and bands, and combined trot with various genres. Fourth, unlike previous audition programs that mainly targeted specific generations or genders, the strategy was to expand the audience by targeting various age groups. Fifth, it has formed a middle-aged fandom with a 'subtitle strategy' that uses subtitles well to arouse viewers' interest and help empathize.

This study intends to understand the Goth style shown from the modern fashion by examining its historically formative characteristics and internal meanings of the Goth style. With mystic attitude toward the medieval Gothic culture, Goth style refers to its reproduction over the cultural circles including music, literature and arts. From the result of the historical review, the formative characteristics of the Goth style may be divided into darkness, distortion, memento mori and bricolage. The historical review of the Goth style contains symbolic meaning of mystery, terror, escape and theatricality. After 2000, Goth style, in combination with factors such as postmodernism and human desire, has been established as the main trend of modern fashion, going with the popular culture. The formativeness of modern Goth fashion is the same as that of Goth style examined from the historic review. However, in modern Goth fashion, the symbolic meaning has the processes of the new: unconsciousness, kitsch, overthrow and popularity.

  • A guitar, a piano, and a violin are popular musical instruments for User Created Contents(UCC). However the patterns of audio signal generated by a guitar and a piano are too similar to differentiate. The difference between two musical instruments can be found by analyzing the frequency variation per each band near signal peaks. The distribution of probability on the existence of signal peaks based on Cumulative Histogram were applied to musical instrument recognition. Experiments with statistical models of the frequency variation per each band near signal peaks showed the 14% improvement of musical instrument recognition.

  • Indeterminancy is one of the thought systems which explains all things with not 'either-or' but 'both-and' the conditions and qualities of human identities and inner state. A view of the world of Dionisos of Nietzsche's and the character of Manneristic trend which has resolved the sense of alienation of men by paradoxic expression has succeeded to romanticism surrealism and postmodernism. 1. Cross-dressing has increased under contemporary conditions. There also have been various cross-dressing phenomena in the past but it appears strongly now that it would destroy the cultural stereotypes and give rise to the cultural insecurities in contemporary conditions. 2. The indeterminancy of status that is wealth versus poverty impacts on variations of contemporary dress. This has been represented by neglecting traditional code which is related to wealth in costume by conversion of the symbols of wealth and poverty as disguise with moderation simplicity and additionally poverty image instead of ostentation. 3. In the cultural aspect that is mother culture/ subculture the author has investigated black street fashion which has newly become visible. The black street fashion is wide spread in black popular music such as jazz Rhythm & Blues Reggae and Rap which is subculture against white. The external values of indeterminancy in fashion are n대-manneristic tendencies as deformation eclectic friction and irrational structure and graffiti method. The inner values by indeterminant expression in fashion are irony and paradox grotesque satire and amusement.
