Finding influential factors from given clustering result is a typical data science problem. Genetic Algorithm based method is proposed to derive influential factors and its performance is compared with two conventional methods, Classification and Regression Tree (CART) and Chi-Squared Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID), by using Dunn's index measure. To extract the influential factors of preference towards political parties in South Korea, the vote result of $18^{th}$ presidential election and 'Demographic', 'Health and Welfare', 'Economic' and 'Business' related data were used. Based on the analysis, reverse engineering was implemented. Implementation of reverse engineering based approach for influential factor analysis can provide new set of influential variables which can present new insight towards the data mining field.

In this paper, I applied grounded theory in exploring how Twitter became the battlefield for China's public diplomacy campaign. China's new move to global social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, has been a controversial strategy in public diplomacy. This study analyzes Chinese Foreign Spokesperson Zhao Lijian's Twitter posts and comments. It models China's recent diplomatic move to Twitter as a "war of words" model, with features including "leadership," "polarization," and "aggression," while exerting possible effects as "resistance," "hatred," and "sarcasm" to the global community. Our findings show that by failing to gage public opinion and promote the country's positive image, China's current digital diplomacy strategy reflected by Zhao Lijian's tweets has instead constructed a polarized political public sphere, contradictory to the country's promoted "shared human destiny." The "war of words" model extends our understanding of China's new digital diplomacy move as a hybrid of state propaganda and self-performance. Such a strategy could spread hate speech and accelerate political polarization in cyberspace, despite improvements to China's homogenous network building on Twitter.

This paper gives a feminist reading of Suzanne Alexander in The Alexander Plays by focusing on her performances as active reconstitutions of history and memory. A compilation of four of Adrienne Kennedy's more recent plays, The Alexander Plays revolves around a central protagonist who, behind windows and within the closed spaces of the home, waits for her missing husband to return home. Yet, the plot of the waiting wife seems to mask the hidden and more dangerous desires for political transgressions of the play. By analyzing Suzanne's interaction with various literary and historical figures, memories and events, this paper argues that her seeming approval of domesticity, femininity and intimacy serves as a cover for her more political altercations with history, race and gender.

이 논문의 주요 관심사는 세 가지이다. 첫째, 유튜브 이용자가 제20대 대통령선거의 주요 의제이자 후보자 선택의 기준인 '대장동 개발 사업' 콘텐츠를 어떤 채널을 통해 시청했는지 확인했다. 둘째, 연이어 '대장동 개발 사업' 동영상을 시청했을 때 후속 동영상의 정치적 논조가 최초 시청 동영상의 정치적 논조와 일치하는지 비교했다. 셋째, 최초 동영상과 후속 시청 동영상에 달린 댓글에 담긴 정서 유인가를 살폈다. 네트워크 분석과 내용분석 결과에 따르면 '김어준의 뉴스공장'과 'TV조선 뉴스'가 진보와 보수를 대표하는 채널이었다. 그리고 연이어 시청한 후속 채널의 정치적 성향은 진보와 보수 채널 이용자 모두 중립의 비율이 가장 높았다. 둘째, 보수 채널 이용자의 75.9%, 그리고 진보 채널 이용자의 18.5%가 동일한 논조의 후속 동영상에 댓글을 남겼다. 셋째, 진보와 보수 채널 이용자의 약 80%가 최초 시청 동영상에 남긴 댓글의 정서는 이용 채널의 정치적 성향과 일치했고, 동일한 논조의 후속 동영상을 연이어 시청했을 때도 남겨진 댓글의 90% 이상이 이용 채널의 정치적 성향과 일치했다. 연구자들은 유튜브 정치 정보 이용의 부정적 영향을 최소화하는 방안으로 뉴스 채널의 고품질 저널리즘 실천을 제안한다.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of corporate governance practices such as (board size, board composition, CEO duality and audit committee) on the performance of selected Pakistani firms. Research design, data, and methodology - This study examines corporate governance structure by using the data of 80 non-financial firms listed on Karachi Stock Exchange Pakistan during 2010-2014. Hypotheses of the study were tested by using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Result - The findings indicate that board size and audit committee is positively related to the firm performance (ROA & ROE). In contrast, board composition and CEO duality are negatively related to the firm performance (ROA & ROE). As far as controlling variables is concerned, leverage is negative, whereas firm size is positively related to all measures of performance. Conclusions - Empirical findings concluded that corporate governance practices affect the firm performance. Therefore, it is suggested that managers should understand the governance mechanisms to work more efficiently in the firm.

The purpose of this study is to determine priorities for designing digital citizenship education based on the key indicators of importance-performance. Survey data were collected from 283 university students in South Korea and analyzed with Importance-Performance Analysis to diagnose the current level of digital citizenship and draw their needs for educational treatment. The results showed that for all the factors except the Technical Skills (TS), the level of importance was significantly higher than that of performance. Another finding indicated that in the Importance-Performance matrix all the factors were located in the first quadrant (i.e. maintaining the current state) and the third quadrant (i.e. low demands for improvement). Specifically, two items located in the second quadrant where urgent treatment is required could have to do with the increasingly active participation in socio-political issues raised in South Korea. This study offered a window into what to focus on when designing digital citizenship education based on the systematic analysis of the needs for digital citizenship education in South Korea.

본 연구는 중국 캐시미어 민영기업의 해외진출에 관한 장벽요인을 부패, 정치적 리스크, 시장의 변동성, 문화적 차이, 그리고 기업의 자원부존도 측면에서 탐색하는 것이다. 현존하는 실무적 배경을 조사하기 위하여 내몽고에 위치하고 있는 후허하오터(呼和浩特), 바오터우(包頭), 오르도스(鄂爾多斯)에서 캐시미어 해외수출입 업무를 담당하고 있는 민영기업을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 해외 현지국의 부패 및 정치적 리스크는 중국의 해외진출전략에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며 해외 현지국의 시장변동성은 기업의 성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 문화적인 차이는 비즈니스 성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 민영기업의 자원부존은 해외진출전략의 비즈니스 성과에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 토론에서 중국 민영기업의 해외진출전략의 장애를 극복하기 위한 중국 정부정책 및 산업생태계에 대한 실무적 시사점을 기술하였다.

국회의원의 활동은 조직적 활동인 동시에 개인적 활동의 측면을 갖는다. 국회의원과 그들을 보좌하는 직원들이 수행하는 활동은 대한민국 입법부의 주요 업무 수행의 근원이자 당대의 정치사와 정당사, 의원의 출신 지역사 등에 영향을 미치는 중요한 공적 업무가 되는 한편, 4년의 임기 종료 후 재선출되기 위해 임기 중의 업적을 유권자들에게 효과적으로 전달하기 위한 사적 이해에 따른 업무 수행이 병행되는 특징이 있다. 국회의원 조직은 이와 같은 업무 수행과정에서 다양한 유형의 기록을 생산하게 되는데, 국회의원으로서의 공적업무 수행결과물인 공공기록의 관점에서 뿐만 아니라 개인의 입장에서도 자신의 정치철학과 정책방향, 그리고 임기 중의 업적, 인간적 면모 등을 입증할 수 있는 개인기록의 정리를 통하여 자신의 정체성을 만들어갈 수 있으며, 이를 유권자들에게 제공함으로써 객관적이고 신뢰성 있는 이미지 부각이 가능할 수 있다는 점에서 한층 더 중요한 가치와 의미가 확보될 수 있다. 본 연구는 국회의원과 보좌직원들이 기록관리를 잘하는 것이 내부 업무 효율화에 도움이 되며, 국회의원 자신의 개인적인 이익에 도움이 될 수 있다는 점을 강조함과 동시에 내부 효율화의 관점과 개인기록 관리의 필요성에 맞춰 생산 기록목록의 도출과 선별에 이르는 절차와 방법을 제시함으로써 실무적 도움을 주는데 목적을 두었다.

이 연구는 언론인들이 기사를 생산함에 있어서 스스로 전문성, 공정성을 판단할 때 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인가에 대한 것이다. 슈메이커와 리즈의 계층 모델을 이론적 근거로 하여 뉴스생산 환경의 차이, 조직과 개인의 정치적 성향 일치도, 기자들의 업무 수행 자유도에 따라 언론인이 전문성과 공정성 인식에 어떠한 영향을 받는지 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 온라인 매체 종사자들이 오프라인 매체 종사자들보다 자신들의 보도 공정성을 높게 평가했다. 둘째, 오프라인과 온라인 매체 종사자 간에 조직의 정치 성향 일치도 판단에 있어서 차이가 났고, 이러한 인식이 언론 공정성 평가에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 업무 수행 자유도가 높을수록 언론의 공정성을 높게 평가했고, 언론 보도의 공정성을 높게 평가할수록 업무를 전문적이라고 평가했다. 이는 소속 매체 특성에 따라 인식의 차이가 있음을 보여주는 것이다. 이 연구의 의의는 한국언론진흥재단에서 실시하고 있는 '언론인 의식조사'의 설문 원시 자료를 활용하여 2차 자료 분석을 통해 연구했다는 점이다. 특히 소속 매체에 따라 조직의 정치적 성향, 업무 수행 자유도 측면에서 뉴스 생산 환경에 대한 우리나라 언론인들의 인식이 어떠한지 분석했다는 점에서 저널리즘 측면의 의의가 있다. 언론의 공정성과 전문성 평가에 영향을 미치는 요인은 결국 기사의 질이라는 결과물로 나타나기 때문에 뉴스생산 환경의 정치적 자유가 매우 중요하다는 것을 추론할 수 있다.

While the Chinese banks have started the impact of foreign banks. At the same time, rising pressure on foreign exchange reserves and appreciation of the renminbi has prompted Chinese banks to go abroad and diversify their risks. The financial crisis of 2008 has caused the continued turbulence of the major financial markets around the world, and the valuation of foreign financial institutions has been drastically shrinking, providing opportunities for Chinese banks to carry out overseas M&A. Based on the overseas M&A status of Chinese commercial banks, this paper sums up the characteristics of the overseas M&A. Then taking a series of overseas M&A conducted by ICBC from 2006 to 2011 as an example, it analyzes the relationship between M&A and performance growth using grey incidence model. The test shows: there is a positive correlation between both overseas M&A and interest rate differential with performance growth of ICBC, and overseas M&A transactions role in promoting the performance growth is significantly higher than the interest rate differential.
