The purpose of this study is to suggest the way of reformation of the korean policeman's uniform through the precise investigation and analysis both at home and abroad. The domestic investigation was carried out through the research into the concerned documents on how to emprove the policeman's uniform, the investigation into the focused group interview not only for the policeman but also for policeman's uniform, the analysis on the domestic policeman's service in general and the similar uniforms inside the country. The overseas-research was accomplished by visiting six different countries such as United Kingom, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Japan while interviewing and analyzing on their own uniforms respectively. The result of thes survey indicates that Korean Policeman's Uniform is comparatively lacking in dignity, functionability, uniformity and symbolic representation of Korea. In conclusion, this study suggests the way how to improve Korean Policeman's Uniform as follows : 1. To pursue the simplification and the uniformity 2. To give the functionability and flexibility by seasons and functions. 3. To inspire the symbolic character and the dignity of policeman's own.

The purpose of this study is to present the form of Korean policeman's headgear which is endowed with traditional Korean characters and a creative property that has distinctive from other headgears. The investigation was carried out through the researh of policeman's headgears in foreign countries such as United Kingdom France Belgium Italy germany and Japan. The dom-estic investigation was carried out through the Focused Group Interview and analysis on the domestic policeman's service and headgear. Lastly the research into the characteristic of Korean traditional headgear's from was carried out. Consequently two types of policeman's head-gear hat and cap were newly developed and the system of practical use was suggested. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Through the use of traditional and formal elements of Korean ancient headgears korean policeman's headgears were improved in distinc-tion and dignity. 2. Through the use of unisexual form police-man's headgears were improved in uniformity. 3. Through the use of transformal accessories policeman's headgear were improved in simplified system. 4. Through the use of newly formed and lighten weighted materials policeman's head-gears were improved in functionability.

The purpose of this study was to use as basic data for the is systematic and efficient facility inventory of policeman and the riot police, conscripted policeman. First, the analysis was performed for the patient implementing the simple x-ray, CT, and MRI examination to the policeman and the riot police, conscripted policeman within the radiologic examination. As to the classification by disease, it classified into the partial body as the common disease and musculoskeletal system disease. As to the fixed quantity comparison of the policeman and the riot police, conscripted policeman the basic X-ray, CT, MRI examination by part average personnel was compared. As to the research result the riot police, conscripted policeman, the Lower extremity examination occupies the simple X-ray, CT, and MRI examination in comparison with the other part altogether much and particularly, the Knee examination ratio occupies much among the Lower extremity examination.

Police questioning is police measure for acquiring information or inquiring an identification without questionee's will in order to accomplish the goal under the Police Act. However, like spear and shield, it has its own inherent limits between both sides of public power and human right and has stirred an hot issue in our society for longtime. The core problem is whether policeman can force a questionee stop when the questionee refuses policeman's stop requirement, the first step for police questioning. Some opinions argue that police questioning has somewhat effects on crime prevention and suspect arrest but people still have inconvenience and refusal from experiences of reckless police questioning in the past. Because of this, the police needs to recover people's trust on police questioning. In order to do so, in case of police questioning, human right should be superior to crime prevention or suspect arrest. This is the time's call. So when there is a police questioning, policeman's exertion of it on the questionee who refuse it should be conducted under strict conditions.

The basic legislations regulating the private security in Korea are Private Security Business Act and Private Policeman Act. But this dualistic system of private security causes difficulties in unity and efficiency of private security operation and makes it complicated to supervise each personnel with effect. Besides despite similar service and duty, there is all the difference between private security guard and private policeman in regard of social position, pay, authority, and so on. Therefore it is suggested that the two Acts should be unified and the united private security act should be enacted. Legislating new private security act will lead to considering the detail legislative definition on qualification of personnels and business range.

A total of 2,510 police personnel aged 20-59 were examined to determine the prosthodontic demands. The results were as follows. 1. Prosthodontic demands increase with aging. 2. Periodontic problem is the major cause of the prosthodontic needs in old personnel. 3. Trauma is the more popular cause of the prosthodontic need than periodontal problem in policeman. 4. The major cause of the untreatment is the lacks of time. 5. The younger persons have more fear of dental treatment. 6. Prostodontic demands show declining trends.

This study has purpose on revealing with corroborative evidence how police manager's leadership type effects on working attitude of policeman. This study is composed of the introduction in the first chapter, theological consideration of leadership and working attitude in the second chapter, research plan and analysis in the third chapter and finally the conclusion in the fourth chapter. For the political suggestion, the program's operated by police organization can be altered its efficiency by organizing groups applying what kind of leadership to how it wed. Considering to its characteristic of police organization, the leadership is not only important factor effecting on outcome of organization but also core activity achieving the goal of organization to police manager.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness and competence level of trainees of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training targeted for policeman. Data were collected from 113 policemen by questionnaire on Feb, 2001. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, paired t-test using SPSS program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. 17 questions score increase, and 1 question score decreased. 2 questions didn't change their score. 2. In post test, knowledge level of trainees increased compared to that of pretest(t=-13.055, p= .000). 3. Competence level also increased(t=-13.055, p= .000).

It is possible to contribute to efficiency of police organization if policeman has their hob satisfaction. To effectively perform the service, it is important to a matter of outcome or satisfaction of duty. However, the study in this field is insufficient. In this study, the introduction is in the first chapter. Theoretical consideration in the second chapter, investigative analysis and argument in the third chapter and finally the conclusion in the forth chapter. In this study, according to analysis of position, personality show no differences and job satisfaction show more higher in police sergeant class. Also, the study shows that there is relationship between sociality and prudence and outcome of duty and occupational view in the correlation between personality and job satisfaction. Therefore, a sociable person influence affirmative occupational view and outcome of duty.
