  • A signed digraph S is the digraph D by assigning signs 1 or -1 to each arc of D. The base of S is the minimum number k such that there is a pair walks which have the same initial and terminal point with length k, but different signs. In this paper we show that for $n{\geq}5$ the upper bound of the base of a primitive non-powerful signed tournament Sn, which is the signed digraph by assigning 1 or -1 to each arc of a primitive tournament $T_n$, is max{2n + 2, n+11}. Moreover we show that it is extremal except when n = 5, 7.

  • For all primitive centric space groups in the triclinic, monoclinic and orthorhombic systems, either phase 0 or π can be allocated to three different kinds of reflections in order to specify the origin at one of the eight centers of symmetry. and the same holds for all primitive acentric space groups belonging to the point group 222. If these phased reflections are used as a basic set, more and more phased reflections with better accuracy could emerge in the process of direct methods.

  • Cao et al. in (Numer. Linear. Algebra Appl. 18 (2011) 875-895) proposed a splitting method for saddle point problems which unconditionally converges to the solution of the system. It was shown that a Krylov subspace method like GMRES in conjunction with the induced preconditioner is very effective for the saddle point problems. In this paper we first modify the iterative method, discuss its convergence properties and apply the induced preconditioner to the problem. Numerical experiments of the corresponding preconditioner are compared to the primitive one to show the superiority of our method.

  • Recently, scanning projects have been carried out in various construction and construction fields for maintenance purposes. The point cloud generated by the scan results is composed of a number of points representing the object to be scanned. The process of extracting the necessary information, including dimensions, from such scan data is called paradox. The reverse engineering process of modeling a point cloud as BIM involves considerable manual work. Owing to the time-consuming reverse engineering nature of the work, the costs increase exponentially when rework requests are made, such as design changes. Reverse engineering automation technology can help improve these problems. On the other hand, the reverse design product is variable depending on the use, and the kind and detail level of the product may be different. This paper proposes the G2BM (Geometry-to-BIM mapping) rule definition method that automatically maps a BIM object from a primitive geometry to a BIM object. G2BM proposes a process definition and a customization method for reverse engineering BIM objects that consider the use case variability.

  • We compare an integral sliding mode control with a typical sliding mode control for robot manipulators through two primitive tasks: set-point regulation and trajectory tracking control. To prove the asymptotic stability of two methods for robot manipulators, we introduce three important properties in the robot dynamics: skew-symmetry, positive-definiteness, and boundedness of robot parameter matrices and we present one unified control structure using a parametric velocity vector. From illustrative examples, we show that two methods effectively control for robot manipulators.

  • A professor of biology, whose name is Dr. Mikamo, National Asahigawa Medical School, recently made an appallingly interesting report to the Hokkaido Meeting, the Zoological Society of Japan at last summer which was to the effect: "Students were asked to draw pictures of a cock and a fly at an examination in biology they took at few medical and dental schools of our national universities. Less than ten percent of the drawings were in a passable likeness of the creatures in question; the rest being nothing more than indefinite and vague, often to the point of primitive. Some cocks were even bestowed with four beautiful legs".egs".uot;.

  • It is difficult to extract small valve automatically in noisy 3D point cloud obtained from LIDAR because small object is affected by noise considerably. In this paper, we assume that the valve is a complex model consisting of torus, cylinder and plane represents handle, rib and center plane to extract a pose of the valve. And to extract the pose, we received additional input: center of the valve. We generated histogram of distance between the center and each points of point cloud, and obtain pose of valve by extracting parameters of handle, rib and center plane. Finally, the valve is reconstructed.

  • Current methods for construction site modeling employ large, expensive laser range scanners that produce dense range point clouds of a scene from different perspectives. Days of skilled interpretation and of automatic segmentation may be required to convert the clouds to a finished CAD model. The dynamic nature of the construction environment requires that a real-time local area modeling system be capable of handling a rapidly changing and uncertain work environment. However, in practice, large, simple, and reasonably accurate embodying volumes are adequate feedback to an operator who, for instance, is attempting to place materials in the midst of obstacles with an occluded view. For real-time obstacle avoidance and automated equipment control functions, such volumes also facilitate computational tractability. In this research, a human operator's ability to quickly evaluate and associate objects in a scene is exploited. The operator directs a laser range finder mounted on a pan and tilt unit to collect range points on objects throughout the workspace. These groups of points form sparse range point clouds. These sparse clouds are then used to create geometric primitives for visualization and modeling purposes. Experimental results indicate that these models can be created rapidly and with sufficient accuracy for automated obstacle avoidance and equipment control functions.

  • The white color is the main characteristics of the traditional color of clothes. From the historical point of view, the Korean's pattern of wearing Baik-Eui can be found its origin from many people of North-East Asia in ancient time. The beginning of wearing Baik-Eui in Korea was at the age of tribes, and it was delivered to middle age, later on, to modern age near the end of Yi Dynasty. The other charactics of the traditional colors. are summarized as follows: 1. Prefered light color to dark color and light blue was noble and worthy. 2. The kinds of color were not various. 3. Color was native and pure not including grey or other colors. From the economical point of vie, the first thing is that Baik Eui was primitive in ti's color Though some say that wearing Baik-Eui is considered as a kind of worship of the Sun, yet we can also find that the every reason of it is that we had little dyes at that time. Especially the reddish dyeing materials were in short supply, so that had been imported mainly from Japan.
