국가좌표계 변환요소의 개선 (Improved National Datum Transformation Parameters of South Korea)

  • 이 논문에서는 한국경위도원점의 실용성과 및 VLBI 관측점과의 연결에 의한 국제지구기준좌표계94(ITRF94)성과의 결정과정을 설명하고 있으며 이를 이용한 원점변환요소를 도출하고 있다. 또한 실용성과와 31점으로 구성된 지구중심좌표계 KTRF94 성과간의 국가변환요소를 가중변수법을 이용하여 산정하고 결과를 제시하였다. 이 변환요소에 대한 특성을 분석한 결과, 앞으로 KTRF성과를 사용한다면 기선해석의 초기좌표 계산이나 지구중심좌표계의 3차원 성과산정에 활용될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.

  • In these days many large scale plants are attempting to use the Virtual Reality technology in the process analysis. Their goal is to reduce the development time by more effective information management as Simultaneous Engineering point of view, and by connecting the CAD datum and all kinds of products information. Generally, it is taken for granted that when a plant is equipped with a Virtual Reality technology, they are able to review the design and analyze the engineering performance of the product before actually building it, so that their goal to reduce costs and enhance the initial quality can be achieved. [1][2] In this paper we will look into the application the virtual reality technology Hadong fossil power plant. And we will also define the concepts of virtual plant by summarizing requirements and thoughts from the people who are in working in the actual site.

정반 평면도 평가를 위한 측정점의 합리적인 개수의 결정 (A Rational Quantity of Measurement for Finding Flatness of a Surface Table)

  • The flatness is the most important nature for the surface table. For finding such a flatness, the surface is surveyed along a number of straight lines parallel to the edges of table, which form a grid. Next, the variations in height of the grid points are measured relative to a datum point. If the number of such points is increased. It is not necessarily to use many grid points for finding the original flatness of a measured surface table. So, it is necessary to find the rational quantity of such grid points. It is found that about 220 points per $1m^2$ of surface table for measurement is the rational quantity with less than about 15% error of the original flatness.

Investigating the substance and acceptability of empirical arguments: The case of maximum-minimum theorem and intermediate value theorem in Korean textbooks

  • Mathematical argument has been given much attention in the research literature as a mediating construct between reasoning and proof. However, there have been relatively less efforts made in the research that examined the nature of empirical arguments represented in textbooks and how students perceive them as proofs. Cases of point include Intermediate Value Theorem [IVT] and Maximum-Minimum theorem [MMT] in grade 11 in Korea. In this study, using Toulmin's framework (1958), the author analyzed the substance of the empirical arguments provided for both MMT and IVT to draw comparisons between the nature of datum, claims, and warrants among empirical arguments offered in textbooks. Also, an online survey was administered to learn about how students view as proofs the empirical arguments provided for MMT and IVT. Results indicate that nearly half of students tended to accept the empirical arguments as proofs. Implications are discussed to suggest alternative approaches for teaching MMT and IVT.

우리나라 수준점의 중력기반 정표고 결정 (The Determination of Orthometric Height based on Gravity in Korea)

  • 우리나라의 수직기준은 인천만의 평균해수면을 기준으로 전역의 수준점 표고가 결정된다. 현재 국토지리 정보원에서 제공하는 고시성과는 실제 중력의 영향을 고려하는 대신 정규중력식에 의한 타원보정량을 이용하여 수준점 간 높이차를 보정한 뒤 인천의 수준원점을 고정하고 최소제곱법을 수행하여 산출한 정규정표고이다. 하지만 우리나라의 경우 국토의 70%가 산지로 이루어져 있으며 지형의 기복이 심하고, 남-북 방향으로 뻗어있는 산맥을 가로지르는 수준노선이 있으므로 중력에 의한 영향을 무시할 수 없음에도 불구하고 아직까지 그 영향을 고려하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 항공중력데이터를 이용하여 각 수준점에서의 중력값을 산출한 뒤 수준점에서의 정표고를 산출하고 현재 우리나라에서 사용하고 있는 고시 좌표와 비교해보았다.

GPS 정밀단독측위 성과의 보정을 위한 기준시점 조정모델 개발 (Development of Reference Epoch Adjustment Model for Correction of GPS Precise Point Positioning Results)

  • 본 연구에서는 정적 측지기준계를 채택하고 있는 우리나라에서 GPS 정밀단독측위 해석 결과에 정적 측지기준계의 기준시점으로부터 지진이나 지각변동에 의해 발생한 위치의 변동량을 보정함으로써 위치정확도를 향상시키기 위한 기준시점 조정모델을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 우리나라 GPS상시관측소 중 14개소를 선정하여 2000년부터 2011년까지 약 10년간의 일별 GPS데이터에 대하여 GIPSY-OASIS II를 이용한 정밀단독측위 해석을 실시하고 이로부터 GPS상시관측소의 지각변동량을 결정하였다. 이로부터 SOPAC에서 채택하고 있는 지각변동모델식의 파라미터를 계산함으로써 기준시점 조정모델을 구하였다. 본 연구에서 구하여진 기준시점 조정모델을 적용한 결과 GPS상시관측소의 위치는 약 12mm의 정확도로 결정할 수 있었으며, 일반 측량점의 위치는 약 16mm의 정확도로 결정할 수 있다. 향후 보다 많은 GPS상시관측소의 데이터 처리를 통하여 기준시점 조정모델을 결정할 경우 지진이나 지각변동에 의하여 변동된 측량점의 위치를 실용적인 정확도 범위 내에서 GPS 정밀단독측위에 의하여 정적 측지계 기준의 좌표로 추정할 수 있을 것이다.

석조문화유산의 형상분석을 위한 3차원 디지털복원과 표면심도 모델링:해운대 석각을 중심으로 (Three-dimensional Digital Restoration and Surface Depth Modeling for Shape Analysis of Stone Cultural Heritage: Haeundae Stone Inscription)

  • 이 연구에서는 해운대 석각을 대상으로 3차원 레이저 스캐닝 시스템을 적용하여 디지털복원 및 표면심도 모델링을 수행하였다. 먼저 석각의 3차원 디지털복원은 광대역 및 정밀 스캐너를 이용하여 점군 데이터를 획득하였고, 정합, 병합, 필터링, 폴리곤 메쉬, 도면화 작업 순으로 진행하였다. 특히 정밀 스캐닝 폴리곤은 광대역 폴리곤에 비해 글자의 필획, 음각깊이 및 선명도 등이 매우 뛰어났다. 표면심도 모델링은 폴리곤 분리, 기준축 설정, 기준점 선정, 등고선도 맵핑 및 폴리곤 병합을 통해 완성하였으며, 사진과 폴리곤 이미지에 비해 글자의 상대적 음각깊이(5~17mm)와 윤곽이 매우 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 광대역 및 정밀 스캐닝을 병합한 디지털복원 기술을 통해 석각의 전체 형태와 미세형상을 신속하고 정확하게 복원하였고, 표면심도 모델링은 육안과 사진으로 불분명했던 부분을 가시적으로 표현해주었다. 앞으로 정기적인 모니터링을 통해 석각의 다양한 손상과 시간에 따른 주변 환경 변화를 수치적으로 분석할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Vantage Point Metric Index Improvement for Multimedia Databases

  • On multimedia databases, in order to realize the fast access method, indexing methods for the multidimension data space are used. However, since it is a premise to use the Euclid distance as the distance measure, this method lacks in flexibility. On the other hand, there are metric indexing methods which require only to satisfy distance axiom. Since metric indexing methods can also apply for distance measures other than the Euclid distance, these methods have high flexibility. This paper proposes an improved method of VP-tree which is one of the metric indexing methods. VP-tree follows the node which suits the search range from a route node at searching. And distances between a query and all objects linked from the leaf node which finally arrived are computed, and it investigates whether each object is contained in the search range. However, search speed will become slow if the number of distance calculations in a leaf node increases. Therefore, we paid attention to the candidates selection method using the triangular inequality in a leaf node. As the improved methods, we propose a method to use the nearest neighbor object point for the query as the datum point of the triangular inequality. It becomes possible to make the search range smaller and to cut down the number of times of distance calculation by these improved methods. From evaluation experiments using 10,000 image data, it was found that our proposed method could cut 5%~12% of search time of the traditional method.

흰쥐에서 족삼리 취혈 위치 표준화를 위한 연구 (The Study to standardize the ST36 Acupoint Location on Rats)

  • Background : The location of acupoints on rat, which may differ from that of human body due to anatomical structure, is defined variously among researchers, which may cause the problem of low repeatability and objectivity. Design : The measurement of hind limb consist of measuring the distance between knee joint and tibia tubercle in order to set the knee joint as common criteria. Based on it, the three mostly referred location of ST36 were represented with the knee joint as a datum point and compared. The electroacupuncture stimulation was administrated after the abdominal pain was induced by acetic acid. And the analgesic activity of each ST36 acupoint was evaluated by measuring the number of writhing reflex, in order to observe the differences of treatment effect in accordance with the location of ST36 acupoints. Results : The result of measurement confirmed the differences in the acupoint location of ST36 among researchers. The writhing reflex test using the acetic acid-induced abdominal pain stimulated with electroacupuncture of 100Hz showed that there were statistically significant differences in the analgesic effect between control group and three ST36 groups (P<0.05). However there were no differences observed among three mostly referred location of ST36 acupoints (P>0.05). Conclusions : We recommend "the point located 6.5 mm below the knee joint at the anterior tibial muscle" as a standard ST36 acupoint location qualified by the WHO Standard Acupuncture Point Locations in 2008.

Development of KOGD2003 Geoid Model and its Implementation by Visual Software

  • It is well known that GPS technique can be used for high accuracy leveling positioning if a precise geoid model is available to use at a surveying point. In this study, KOGD2003 geoid model was developed in and around Korean peninsula and this geoid model could be achieved by combining GPS/leveling data with the formerly developed KOGD2002. To this end, the software for orthometric height obtaining and geodetic datum transformation has been implemented with the visual C++ language, what we called GPS-GeoL v.1.0. In order to evaluate the performance and the accuracy of the software, GPS field tests were carried out in the Korean second-order leveling network over Chollabukdo area. Results of the tests have shown that the mean value of the differences between outputs of the software developed in this research and officially announced orthometric heights by NGII (National Geographic Information Institute) was 0.0221 m and also those of RMS was 0.0332 m. Therefore, it was possible to conclude that the KOGD2003 and GPS-GeoL v.1.0 software could be used to determine orthometric heights for civil construction field applications with cm-level accuracy.
