Diverse sports are appearing due to the enhanced quality of life and improved cultural standards of the present society. In particular, as golf gains greater popularity from the public, many golf ranges are being constructed near residential areas. However, the hitting noise generated by golf disrupt the pleasant living environment of neighboring residents to generate strong disputes related with noise. In this perspective, this study analyzed the characteristics and dispersion of sound pressure level according to the frequency of hitting noises generated in golf driving ranges and used this data to predict the range of effect through computer simulation. Thus, it is stipulated that these research results can be used as useful data for establishing effective plans in the future during civil complaints reported in relation to hitting noises in golf driving ranges.

White organic LED spectrum for lighting and displaying should be designed for high luminous efficiency as well as good chromaticity coordinate, pleasant correlated color temperature and color rendering. A program based on Matlab was made to make these calculations convenient. The chromaticity coordinate and luminous efficiency was calculated according to the CIE 1931 colorimetric system, while the correlated color temperature(CCT) was calculated based on CIE 1960 UCS diagram. The color rendering characteristics were evaluated according to the CIE Color Rendering Index (CRI), using Ra, Ri and ${\bigtriangleup}E$ from the 14 color samples defined in CIE13.3.

Through numerical experiment using simplified OSU-1D PBL(Oregon State University One-Dimensional Planetary Boundary Layer) model and field measurement, we studied the impacts of vegetation canopy on heat island that was one of the characteristics of local climaate in urban area. it was found that if the fraction of vegetation was extended by 10 percent, the maximum air temperature and the maximum ground temperature can come down about 0.9${\circ}C$, 2.3${\circ}C$, respectively. Even though the field measurement was done under a little unstable atmospheric condition, the canopy air temperature was lower in the daytime, and higher at night than the air and ground temperature. This result suggests that the extention of vegetation canopy can bring about more pleasant local climate by causing the oasis, the shade and the blanket effect.

Recently residential-commercial buildings are being built more like residential-oriented apartments and also as deluxe residential houses targeting at the high-income bracket that is seeking for high Qualify of life. The important factors to provide a pleasant environment for residential-commercial buildings are both common space shared by occupants and the quality of service and the conveniences. These have already become prominent as important factors when choosing a residence. This research manipulates the characteristics of commonly shared space, being an important factor of amenity, in the residential-commercial buildings recently built for sale so that a reference to planning of common space in residential-commercial buildings can be provided for the future.

The purpose of this study was to identify and profile store browsers in terms of their browsing motives, fashion behavioral characteristics, buying behavior and preferred store attributes. The data were collected through questionnaire from 302 female college students by convenient sampling method. Statistical analysis of factor analysis, x²-test, and t-test were performed in analyzing the data. The browsing motives of browsers were to obtains fashion information, sensory stimulation and diversion from routine life. They showed the high level of fashion involvement, shopping confidence, shopping innovativeness, shopping opinion leadership as well s fashion opinion leadership. Browsers tended to be impulse buyers and spent more money on clothing than non-browsers. The attributes that influence their store choice were the variety of products and brands, information availability ,and pleasant store atmosphere.

This study investigated the psychological and physiological responses to the sound of car horns produced by different. manufacturers. Ten female college students listened to the sound of the horns while their EEG responses on 6 sites were being measured, and rated each hem on psychological scales. Their EEG and psychological responses were investigated as to whether the responses were related to the loudness, sharpness, tonality, and roughness of the horns. The results indicated that the subjects felt more 'dominated' as the loudness and sharpness increased, that the subjects felt more 'pleasant' as the sharpness increased, that the subjects felt more 'dominant' as the tonality increased, and that the subjects felt more 'aroused' as the roughness increased. The physiological results showed that the fast alpha wave in the occipital lobe decreased in the relative power as the loudness, sharpness, and tonality increased, and that the delta wave in the occipital lobe increased and the slow alpha wave in the frontal lobe decreased in the relative power as the roughness increased.

For the comfortable housing life, comfortable and pleasant urban environment should be created for the people living in house and in city. There are lots of environmental conditions in city affecting house and life. Also most of all the noise pollution have been become major factor that makes people's life uncomfortable. Recently soundscape researches have been performed to create comfortable urban environment and various studies on the evaluation of urban environmental sounds are now undergoing. This study aimed to analyse the subjective characteristics through the subjective evaluation to the sounds measured with physical parameters and eventually to find out alternative evaluation method for urban environmental sounds. Adjectives applied to previous studies were used for the subjective evaluation and sound sources recorded in specific places were presented with picture at the same time. As a result, new physical parameters such as Lmax, Unbiased Annoyance, G, N and EmT have a feasibility to evaluation of urban environment sounds in terms of acoustic comfort.

The trends in building construction these days are moving towards having better work spaces and greater suitability for the use of information technology. Therefore people can work in a more relaxed delightful and pleasant environment. Accident such as like fire could cause the mass destruction of human beings. This paper aims to evaluate the path of the spread of a fire and the suitability of fire fighting appliances for maximum egress time. General advanced phase of compartment. Aswell, we analyzed and verified the path of the flame in compartment fires. Also we conducted an analysis of the adaptation of sprinkler systems concerned with sprinkler RTI. Moreover those evaluation is made more earlier by the development and use of computer simulation program and rapid progress to apply PBFD (Performance Based Fire Design).

The 4th National Comprehensive Planning is a blueprint of national plan to be accomplished by the year 2020. This article indicates grounds of establishing the plan, characteristics and problems of the plan. Following is the principal contents which are treated in the article; 1st, strategy of constructing opened and combined land axis, 2nd, competency intensifying strategy by areas, 3rd, constructing health and pleasant national environment,4th, strategy for organizing express transportation and information network through the whole land, 5か, special features related building basis of cooperation interchange between North and South Korea. In the conclusion, although there were some problems through 3 times national comprehensive planning, this plan should be helpful to develop nation keeping balance for which construction and preservation would be harmonized appropriately.

Modern society has achieved rapid growth in economy and materials whereas it caused such problems as municipal extension and high density of population, Due to rapid change of social environment, it became more complicated and multifarious than ever it before. Helping the people all kinds of routine affairs police box is giving a negative image to the citizens, for its environment doesn't have got rid of its old fashion . It's being an unharmonious factor to its surroundings, a solution is needed. So, this study is focused on recognizing the change of value system with the flow of time, planning a new image of police box for the change and in consequence recovering the trustworthy between people and the nation. For this , by grasping the characteristics of each space and through space-dividing and design corresponding to it, the plan is provided to make a pleasant interior environment of police box and to make it a symbol of local society. As a result of this study, we will have the police box not only as an office providing the locals with security and service but also as eyes of the country which watches the municipal environment.
