The purpose of the research was to examine how the quality of service provided by the employee and KARST dealing with the quality of the systems and the information systems affect the satisfaction of the users. Second purpose was to find out which of three factors play greater or lesser roles in affecting the customers of the KARST by examining customer satisfaction and the causal relationship between them so that it can aid in finding areas that need to be further developed or improved when designing and operating airports as well as improve customer service by KARST employees.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of attributes of salespersons working at apparel store on relationship with consumers, to gather information what kind of attributes of salespersons get preference to consumer, and to conclude a certain relationship in the result coming from both attributes of salespersons and degree of relationship quality. The questionnaire survey was carried out 571 20's & 30's men and women living around Seoul and Kyong-gi province areas during July in 200l. SAS and AMOS program were used to analyze gathered data. The results of this study were as follows. First, in the case of apparel product, construction and long-term maintenance of relationship with consumers were very essential to gain profit in the future. Second, attributes of salespersons seemed to play an important role on constructing and maintaining long-term relationship with consumers. Third, external attributes like outward appearance do not affect to degree of relationship quality with consumer. rather, internal attributes - expertise, similarity, customer orientation, ethics and likeability, influence on the degree of relationship quality.

The palaemonid shrimp Exopazaemon modestus inhabits the freshwater of the Indo-West Pacific, Siberia, Manchuira, Korea, China, Taiwan (Holthuis, 1980) and is abundant in the fresh water areas of southwest of Korea. Palaemonid shrimps are adapted to a variety of habitats in freshwater, brackish and marine environments. They play important role in the ecosystem of fresh, brackish and marine waters, acting as predators feeding on algae, detritus, crustaceans and meiofauna (Bell and Coull, 1978) and in turn, as preys for fishes and other predators (Anderson, 1985). The purpose of this study was to examine a) each of the selected science museums for its role in educating on ethical issues in science and technology, b) what are the most frequently dealt ethical themes in science and technology; c) how were those themes presented (via exhibition, play, panel, movies, etc); and d) identify common characteristics in the selected science museums' presentations of ethical issues. The results indicated that selected museums present ethical issues related to technology development, mainly on biotechnology and environmental issues. The type of presentations dealing with ethical issues most frequently were exhibitions, panels and simulations, followed by demonstrations and lectures. All of the selected museums had common characteristics for actively taking an educational role in ethical issues in science. The study suggests that efforts to communicate the ethical issues in various areas should be reinforced to educate students and the public, and that it may be the museum's role to expose ethical aspects of technology related to human rights, dignity, health and development issues from the early stage of its development.

Low pressure plasmas play a key role in many areas including electronic, aerospace, automotive, biomedical, and toxic waste management industries, and the advantages of the plasma are well known the processing procedure is established. However, the insight behavior of the discharges remains a mystery, even though a simple geometry as capacitive discharges. In this work, we measured RF power dissipation in capacitively coupled plasma (CCP) at various experiment conditions with potential probe and RF current probe. Through the results, we will have a clearer view of the inner nature of the CCP.

As the most widely used media of BtoB e-business, the e-Marketplace (EM) can play an important role in the age of c-commerce (collaborative commerce). In supply chain management (SCM) area, the relationship-based collaboration among partners has shown great efficiency. Although the collaboration is important in both areas of EM and SCM there has been a critical difference in the selection of trade partners between them. In this paper, the EM's collaborative stages for integration with its customer system are reviewed and a system architecture is proposed for EM's electronic functional role within the perspective of collaborative commerce and buyer-supplier relationship. The relationship-based BtoB commerce through EM is reviewed to explain that it can be more beneficial than the commerce based on the price competitive selection of trade partners. With the proposed system architecture, an EM can be the functional medium for the collaborative IOIS system architecture.

In this paper, we implemented a speaker-independent speech recognizer using the TMS320F28335 DSP which is optimized for control applications. For this implementation, we used a small-sized commercial DSP module and developed a peripheral board including a codec, signal conditioning circuits and I/O interfaces. The speech signal digitized by the TLV320AIC23 codec is analyzed based on MFCC feature extraction methed and recognized using the continuous-density HMM. Thanks to the internal SRAM and flash memory on the TMS320F28335 DSP, we did not need any external memory devices. The internal flash memory contains ADPCM data for voice response as well as HMM data. Since the TMS320F28335 DSP is optimized for control applications, the recognizer may play a good role in the voice-activated control areas in aspect that it can integrate speech recognition capability and inherent control functions into the single DSP.

Characteristics of species distribution in the Baekdoo Great Mountain Chain of Kangwon Province were discussed. Resulting from Detrending Correspondence Analysis based on the floristic composition of 48 mountains, the mountains of the Baekdoo chain tended to aggregate on DCA axis. it represented that there was the peculiar floristic composition of the Baekdoo chain separated from the other mountains. High altitude, longitude near the East Sea and large number of vascular species were main factors for the distribution pattern. And exponential relationships between endemic rare species and number of species were clarified. Even though the regions of the Baekdoo Great Mountain Chain had been conserved relatively well, many regions have been faced to be disturbed for tourism, agriculture, forestry, livestock industry and mining since the local autonomy. Thusm, the necessity for the establishment of large area network through the connection of scattered protected areas in the Baekdoo Great Mountain Chain was suggested. it would play a role as a core of nature conservation to sustain species diversity in Korea.

Recently microscale biofluid flows have been receiving large attention in various research areas. However, most conventional imaging techniques are unsatisfactory due to difficulties encountered in the visualization of microscale biological flows. Recent advances in optics and digital image processing techniques have made it possible to develop several advanced micro-PIV/PTV techniques. They can be used to get quantitative velocity field information of various biofluid flows from visualized images of tracer particles. In this paper, as new advanced micro-PIV techniques suitable for biofluid flow analysis, the basic principle and typical applications of the time-resolved micro-PIV and X-ray micro-PIV methods are explained. As a 3D velocity field measurement technique for measuring microscale flows, holographic micro-PTV method is introduced. These advanced PIV/PTV techniques can be used to reveal the basic physics of various microscale biological flows and will play an important role in visualizing veiled biofluid flow phenomena, for which conventional methods have many difficulties to analyze.

The objectives of this study were to identify the roles of local government for developing community lifelong education, and to suggest desirable directions for upbringing human resource for the future in local community. The roles of local governments have become a more difficult challenge in the context of the ever increasing trends of rural population's moving toward urban areas mainly for the better education for their children. Even though there are regional differences in income level, educational environment, and budgetary constraints. local governments can play an important role in helping community people to build strong community in terms of economic development and enhancing the level of quality of life, and upbringing community leaders. Local governments' priority should be given to provide the better educational opportunities for students as well as community people through community lifelong educational programs.
