Steel Box Girder Bridge Models of Light Rail Transit with HR Plate (HR Plate의 경량전철 강박스거더교 적용모델)

  • To increase the demand of HR Plate with thickness up to 22mm, it is necessary that HR Plate is applicable to full member in steel bridge including main girder. In this study, availabilities of the narrow steel box girder of light railway transit with HR Plate width as a main member are discussed. Computational analysis is performed in 15 bridge models of light railway transit with beam element and plate element. As an analysis results, three models in tight railway transit are presented. In conclusion, it is validated that HR Plate can be applying to narrow steel box girder in the light railway transit.

A Study on Dynamic Analysis and Friction Loss of Swash Plate Compressor (사판식 압축기의 동적 해석 및 마찰손실에 관한 연구)

  • A dynamic analysis and friction loss of non-variable swash plate compressor are studied theoretically. Rotating swash plate and reciprocating pistons are modelled kinematically, and forces and torques acting on rotor-bearing system are analyzed. Then, friction losses on 4 roller bearings, 10 sliding parts between swash plate and shoes, and 10 lubricating surfaces between cylinders and pistons are calculated. On each frictional element of sliding surfaces and roller bearings, the same friction loss is obtained, respectively.

  • The results of analysis of simply supported reinforced concrete slab by special orthotropic plate theory have been reported. This method, however, may be too difficult for some practising engineers. In this paper, the result of analysis of such a plate by means of the beam theory with unit width is reported. By using the "correction factor", the accurate solution for the plate can be obtained by the beam theory. The plate aspect ratio considered is from 1 : 1 to 1 :6

  • For numerical analysis of the plate heat exchanger, a lot of time are required in modeling work and calculation. Whereas, this paper was purposed to identify characteristic of the plate heat exchanger through simplification of modeling by interpreting the numerical analysis proximity with the actual model. This study was also examined temperature difference between inlet side and outlet side, inner pressure drop, heat transfer area of plate and change of heat transfer coefficient on the plate depending on the inner corrugation angle and corrugation pitch of a herring bon pattern of the plate heat exchanger among chevron types of the plate exchanger.

  • This paper is for the vibration analysis of thick plate with concentrated mass on a inhomogeneous pasternak foundation. The vibration of rectangular plate on the inhomogeneous pasternak foundation, natural frequency of this plate with Concentrated Mass are calculated A thick rectangular plate resting on a inhomogeneous pasternak foundation is isotropic, homogeneous and composite with linearly elastic material. In order to analysis plate which is supported on inhomogeneous pasternak foundation, the value of winkler foundation parameter(WFP) of centural and border zone of plate are chosen as WFP1 and WFP2 respectively. The value of WFP1 and WFP2 can be changed as 10, 10$^3$ and the value of SFP(shear foundation parameter) also be changed 5, 15 respectively.

  • This study dealt with the experimental modal analysis of the perforated rectangular plate coupled with fluid. The natural frequencies of the perforated plate and solid plate in air were obtained by the analytical method based on the relation between the reference kinetic and maximum potential energy and compared with the experimental results. Good agreement between the results was found for the natural frequencies of the perforated plate in air. It was empirically found the natural frequencies of the perforated plate coupled with fluid. The transverse vibration modes, in-phase and out-of-phase, were observed alternately in the fluid-coupled system. Additionally, the effect of distance between perforated plate and solid plate on the fluid-coupled natural frequency was investigated.

  • This study investigated the design factors of the opening area in order to consider the kinematic stability of a valve plate, conducting an analysis of the reduction effects of pressure pulsation and flow ripple depending on the design factors, using the $SimulationX^{(R)}$ (Germany) hydraulic analysis program. Further, we performed a structure analysis to confirm the kinematic stability of the valve plate in a swash plate type piston pump, and analyzed the effects of pulsation on a 1-step V-type notch, 2-step V-type notch, and 2-step U-type notch to determine the effects of pulsation reduction. Finally, we show the effectiveness of our proposed design of the pre-compression sections on a valve plate in terms of low pulsation by using the hydraulic analysis program, $SimulationX^{(R)}$.

  • Variable displacement swash plate piston pump analysis requires electric, hydraulics and dynamics which are similar to the one's incorporated in the complex fluid power and mechanical systems. The main variable capacity for the swash plate piston pumps, hydraulics or simple kinematic (swash plate degree, piston displacement) models are analyzed using AMESim, a multi-physics analysis program. AMESim is a multi-physics hydraulic analysis program that is considered good for the environment but not appropriate for environmental analysis for multibody dynamics. In this study, the analytical model of the swash plate type hydraulic piston pump variable capacity is modeled by combining the hydraulic part and the dynamic part through co-simulation of multibody dynamics program (Virtual.lab Motion) and multi-physics analysis (AMESim). This paper describes the whole modeling analysis method on the mechanical analysis of the multi-body dynamics program and how the hydraulic analysis in multi-physics analysis program works. This paper also presents a methodology for analyzing complex fluid power systems.

Buckling and Vibration Analysis of Laminated Composite Plate and Hybrid Composite Plate with a Hole. (원공을 갖는 복합적층판 및 혼합적층판의 좌굴 및 진동해석)

  • This paper deals with the buckling and vibration analysis of plate with a hole. We knew that in this paper, as aspect ratio rises in design parameter, the buckling strength and the natural frequency of laminated composite plate decrease and as diameter of hole for width of plate rises, the buckling strength decrease but the natural frequency increase. Also this paper compared the CFRP laminated composit plate with the hybrid composite plate, and proposed that the hybrid composite plate is stronger than the CFRP composite plate.

  • This study was carried out to compare vibrational properties and adsorption among shellac, cashew finished plate and untreated plate of Sitka spruce(Picea sitchensis Carr). By the method of statistical regression modeling, the fundamental resonance frequency of finished plate was higher than that of untreated plate. The fundamental resonance frequency of cashew finished plate was higher than that of shellac finished plate. By the method of modal analysis, mode frequency ratio of cashew finished plate was higher than that of shellac finished plate. Amounts of adsorption of finished plate was lower than that of untreated plate, and amount of adsorption of cashew finished plate was lower than that of shellac finished plate. It was clarified that the vibrational properties and adsorption of finished plate were superior to those of untreated plate. The vibrational properties and adsorption of cashew finished plate was superior to those of shellac finished plate.
