컴퓨터 게임에서의 경로 계획을 위한 캐릭터별 로드맵의 자동 생성 (Automatic Generation of Character-Specific Roadmaps for Path Planning in Computer Games)

  • 게임이나 가상현실공간에서의 경로 계획은 자율적으로 움직이는 캐릭터들의 수가 많아짐에 따라 그 비중이 높아지고 있다. 로드맵 방식이란 이동 가능한 경로를 나타내는 지도를 사전에 제작하여 경로를 계획하는데 이용하는 방법을 말하며 높은 품질의 경로를 제공할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그렇지만 로드맵이 한번 정해지면 모든 캐릭터가 하나의 지도 위에서 움직이기 때문에 크기가 다른 캐릭터들의 특성이 반영되지 못하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 캐릭터별로 자신의 크기에 맞는 로드맵을 가지고 경로 계획에 각자 이용할 수 있는 효율적인 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 캐릭터의 수에 관계없이 전체 지도는 가시성 그래프를 응용하여 1회만 생성하고, 캐릭터의 크기에 따라 이동 가능한 경로를 점진적으로 추가하는 방식으로 제안되기 때문에 효율적이다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 개별 로드맵 방식으로 얻을 수 있는 효과를 보여주며 이때 수반되는 트레이드오프를 분석한다.

청소넌 전기 남학생의 하의 치수 체계에 관한 연구 (The Apparel Sizing System of the Lower Garments for Early Adolescent Boys)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose apparel sizing system for each body shape of early adolescent boys. The subjects of this study were 549 boys in the capital area. Their body shapes were classified based on 47 anthropometric measurements, 43 photographic measurements and 10 indexed measurements. The apparel sizing system was proposed for each body shape. For data analysis were performed descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and crosstabulation using SPSS Ver. 12. The control dimensions to propose apparel sizing system were stature and waist circumference for the lower garments. Intervals between sizes were 5cm for stature and irregular for waist circumference. For each type, $5{\sim}8$ sizes were proposed for lower garments. Reference measurements suggested fur lower garments were 7 items. This study is meaningful in that it proposed apparel sizing system for each type of body shape. The results of this study are expected to contribute to planning sizes according to the type of body shape and improving the fitness of ready-made clothes in apparel and school uniform manufacturers.

청소년 전기 남학생의 체형 유형화 및 유형별 체형 특성에 관한 연구 (Classification and Characteristics of the Body Shape for Early Adolescent Boys)

  • The purpose of the study is to identify the physical characteristics of early adolescent boys, to classify body shapes by physical characteristic. The subjects were 549 boys in the capital area. Their body shapes were identified and classified based on 47 anthropometric measurements, 43 photographic measurements and 10 indexed measurements. For data analysis were performed descriptive statistics, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA and Duncan test using SPSS Ver. 10. According to the result of extracting factors indicating the characteristics of body shape, horizontal size, vertical length, lateral posture, the lateral shape of the abdomen and the hip, the shape of the back protrusion, the front shape of the trunk and was the shape of the shoulders. According to the result of classifying body shapes, four types of shape - T(Tall) type, P(Petite) type, L(Large) type and R(Regular) type were identified. The results of this study are expected to contribute to planning sizes according to the type of body shape and improving the fitness of ready-made clothes in apparel and school uniform manufacturers.

Power Distribution System Planning with Demand Uncertainty Consideration

  • This paper proposes a method for solving distribution system planning problems taking into account demand uncertainty and geographical information. The proposed method can automatically select appropriate location and size of a substation, routing of feeders, and appropriate sizes of conductors while satisfying constraints, e.g. voltage drop and thermal limit. The demand uncertainty representing load growth is modeled by fuzzy numbers. Feeder routing is determined with consideration of existing infrastructure, e.g. streets and canals. The method integrates planner's experience and process optimization to achieve an appropriate practical solution. The proposed method has been tested with an actual distribution system, from which the results indicate that it can provide satisfactory plans.

바이오매스 부존특성을 고려한 농촌지역 바이오에너지 보급전략 (Strategic Planning for Bioenergy Considering Biomass Availability in Rural Area)

  • Unit costs for energy production in bioenergy facilities are dependent upon both fixed cost for facility construction and operational costs including biomass feedstock supply. With the increase of capacity, unit fixed cost could be decreased while supply cost tends to increase due to the longer transportation distance. It is desirable to take into account biomass availability in planning bioenergy facilities. A cumulative curve relationship was proposed to relate biomass availability and cumulative products of biomass amount and transportation distance. Optimum size of gasification facilities was affected by collection cost, biomass cumulative relationship. Based on biomass availability of Icheon-City, optimum sizes were about $400kW_{th}$ for gas production, and about $200kW_{el}$ for power generation. Unit cost of bioenergy production could be substantially reduced by reducing collection cost through supplying biomass from diverse sources including land development areas where significant amount of waste wood is generated. When planning bioenergy facilities, however, biomass availability and spatial distribution are key factors in determining the size of capacity.

타부서치 알고리즘을 이용한 적치장의 블록 반출계획 (Deployment Planning of Blocks from Storage Yards Using a Tabu Search Algorithm)

  • At a shipyard, the efficient handling of blocks is one of the most important factors in the shipbuilding process. We consider the problem of deployment planning of blocks from storage yards. As some information of block arrangement should be considered to handle the problem, we adopt the block arrangement based on the coordinates and sizes of each block at a storage yard. Deployment planning for a block involves deciding upon its transportation route from the storage yard and searching for blocks that would obstruct its transportation along this route. A tabu search algorithm for deploying several blocks is developed to minimize the number of obstructive blocks deployed together from the storage yards at a shipyard. The results of computational experiments show that the developed algorithm is very useful in the deployment planning of multiple blocks from the storage yards.

표준 치아 크기 및 배열 정보를 이용한 다중 치아 임플란트 식립계획 방안 (Planning of Multiple Tooth Implant Placement Using the Standardized Data in Teeth Size and Position)

  • It is important to devise methods for assisting dentists to consistently determine implant positions and directions and to accurately perform drilling tasks during dental implant surgery. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to tooth implant placement planning which deals with the determination of the positions and directions of multiple implant fixtures for a set of missing mandibular teeth and suggests the selection of the sizes and types of the implant fixtures. We combine Korean standard data in the sizes and positions of human teeth with the patient specific 3D models of mandibular jawbones, nerve curves, and neighboring teeth around the missing teeth in order to determine the positions and directions of the implant fixtures for the missing teeth. Using the geometric and spatial information of the jawbones, the teeth and the implant fixtures, we can construct the 3D models of surgical guide stents which are crucial to perform drilling tasks with ease and accuracy. Adopted in 3D simulation of dental implant placement, the approach can provide surgeon students with good educational contents. We also expect that, with further work, the approach can be used as a useful tool to plan for dental implant surgery.

정보전략계획 단계에서의 정보시스템 규모 예측:기능점수모형을 중심으로 (Software Size Measurement from Information Strategy Planning With the Function Point Method)

  • 기업과 정부는 경쟁력 제고와 효율성 확보를 위해 지속적인 정보화사업을 추진하고 있다. 정보화사업의 규모가 커짐에 따라 정보시스템 개발 규모를 측정하고 비용을 예측하는 일이 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보전략계획 단계에서 정보시스템 개발 규모를 합리적으로 측정하기 위하여 기능점수를 활용하는 과정을 설명한다. 정보전략계획의 산출물로부터 프로젝트 종류를 식별하고, 기능점수 산출 범위와 경계를 정의한 후, 데이터 기능과 트랜잭션 기능으로 나누어 기능점수를 계산한다. 특히, 정보전략계획 단계에서 불명확한 기능점수의 복잡도 계산을 하기 위하여 간이기능점수를 활용한다. 합리적인 정보시스템 규모 예측은 투입공수와 사업 대가를 결정함으로써 성공적인 정보화 사업을 수행하는 밑거름이 될 것이다.

  • 대학에서 의류학과 교육은 그 목적에 따라 다양하나 의복구성은 의복제작과정을 이해하는데 필요한 것으로 의복디자인분야 부터 품질관리에 이르기까지 기본과목으로 되어있다. 의복제작은 인체의 이해에 따른 기본원형의 설계로 시작된다. 기본원형은 활용이 다양하여 모든 종목의 의복 패턴 제작이 가능해야 한다. 또한 각 인체 치수에 맞는 사이즈를 등급화하여 초보자라도 누구나 활용할 수 있는 기본원형을 설계하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 20대 초반의 대학생을 대상으로 입체재단 방법에 의한 기본원형을 제작하여 등급별로 표준화된 치수를 산출하고 연구된 평면재단 방법에 의한 길의 기본원형을 비교 검정하여 적합성을 비교하였다. 석고법에 의하여 제작된 인체모형에서 드레이핑된 기본원형과 연구된 평면재단 방법에 의한 기본원형을 비교 검정한 결과 5단계로 치수를 등급화 하였다. 착장평가 결과 다양한 체형에 만족힌 결과를 얻어 의복구성을 시작하는 초보자들에게 활용하여 교육할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

동남아 항로용 크루즈 선박을 위한 실내공간구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Space Composition for the Southeast Asian Region Based Cruise Ships)

  • Southeast Asian region cruise market is expected to be stable or grow in the near future depending on the region's economy. Star Cruises company, which has entirely dominated the regional market since 1998, has attempted to expand beyond traditional cruise routes in Southeast Asian region and develop new markets in Thailand and Dubai. Such a situation urges Korean shipyards to study on Southeast Asian region based cruise ships. This study is to suggest directions for planning of interior spaces of Southeast Asian region based cruise ships. In order to accomplish this purpose the market situation is analyzed and the adequate ship's tonnage(70,000grt class) is decided. According to mission-based design process the sizes of standard staterooms are set up first and then the sizes of the important structural parts of ship are calculated. Through analyzing the 26 cruise ships of 70,000grt class the kinds, locations and sizes of public rooms are grasped. And we inspect 4 cruise ships of Star Cruises, which are now being operated in Southeast Asian region to understand design characteristics of interior spaces.
