A sruvey was conducted to investigate the consumer perception of farm products and processed foods, and to figure out the future direction of food supply system to satisfy the consumer need. From the citizens in Taegu area, 532 housewives were selected as sample subjects by stratified random sam-pling procedure. The main criteria of consumers for purchasing farm products was quality and the main reason for purchasing imported products was cheap price(48.9%). Most of consumers(87%) thought that food safety of farm products was not belong to safe level. Consumers(79.7%) perceived that the labeling system for the place of origin and for the quality are necessary, but they did not have confidence in the current label. Nearly all the subjects(93.6%) were concerned about the hazardness of residual chemicals of imported products, desired the rigorous inspection system for imported products. Consumers in Taegu area had confidence in processed foods in the following order; farmerbrand-product(0.9%), government-authorized farm product(30.0%) and agricultural cooperative association product(26.4%). However, only 73.6% of the consumers had the experience to purchase farmers' processed foods. As a conclusion, it appeared that nutrition education for consumers on food-decision making is strongly required for the substantial segment of population who are still ignorant of safety of imported product and food distribution system.

Precious Mirror of Korean Medicine constitutes the basis of Korean orthodox medicine. In Korea it is regarded as the most influential medical work in existence and therefore been accorded first place among the medical works. Many books and reference works referred to Six Viscera and Five Bowels were quoted in Precious Mirror of Korean Medicine This dissertation is to study quoted passages and reference books related to Six Bowels and Five Viscera in Precious Mirror of Korean Medicine Based upon the medical works--Introduction to Medicine, Elementary Questions and Spiritual Pivot of Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine, Difficult Classic, Compendium of Medicine and etc.-- all but few references the quotations are clearly traced to their origin. It is hoped that this preliminary study will serve as a starting point for further work on the text, with more specific attention to the method of quotations and its many linguistic problems.

This paper presents information about the examples of the design on Illumination of Structures(LED Light Pipe for lighthouse) in Korea. We have applied illumination by flood-lighting or facade-lighting in place of the 57 lighthouses (offshore structures) and 4 beacons. The ways of illumination of structures are using direct illumination with LED, halogen lamps and metal halide lamps, and indirect illumination with LED non-neon lamps. The illumination of structures helps a observer to identify the Aids to Navigation and w aterway. The fabricated LED Light Pipe is a transparent acrylic round bar and easy to install. The Light Pipe is arranged in two rows of L ED (78ea). It can be connected in series. It has 4 colours(Red, Green, Yellow, White). We analyzed and the horizontal divergence angle of the LED light pipe is defined as the range with 50% of maximum luminous intensity. Also, we evaluated the conspicuity on the origin al lantern and LED Light pipe for lighthouse. The field experiment was conducted in 'Yeosuguhang lighthouse' in Yeosu-city (Korea). F rom the experimental results, it was confirmed that the fabricated LED Light Pipe is clearly distinguished.

It may be said that ancient wild Chinese garden had been founded during Qin dynasty and completed through Han, Sui and Tang dynasties. At first used as hunting areas for kings, the ancient resort forests began to take forms of garden. They dug a pond in the garden and made a simulated mountains with the soil that came from the excavations for the pond and suc pavilions has Gyong, Ru, Gak etc. were built around the pond. The ponds were different in size from those in Korea, being of the lake-like size. they made three island in the pond, which were the islands of Taoist hermits with supernatural powers, called Bong-lae, Young-ju and Band-jang respectively. the traditional of making those islands began in the Qin era and were completed in the Han era, being descended to posterity as a traditional garden structure of 'three islands in one pond' garden style. Such style was brought to Korea and first appeared as Kung-Nam-Ji in Back-jae kingdom and then brought to Japan, becoming the tradition of constructing ponds from early Heian era. Those lake-like huge Chinese ponds constituted the core of ancient garden where various feasts took place. Such ponds were also placed at the center of the gardens and played the roles of feasting garden ponds. Through the above-mentioned studies of the ancient Chines garden, the origin of them and the influence of the ancient Chinese ponded garden upon those of Korea and Japan were investigated.

There have been many speculations about the presence of cosmic ray protons (CRps) in galaxy clusters over the past two decades. However, no direct evidence such as the characteristic $\gamma$-ray signature of decaying pions has been found so far. These pions would be a direct tracer of hadronic CRp interactions with the ambient thermal gas also yielding observable synchrotron and inverse Compton emission by additionally produced secondary electrons. The obvious question concerns the type of galaxy clusters most likely to yield a signal: Particularly suited sites should be cluster cooling cores due to their high gas and magnetic energy densities. We studied a nearby sample of clusters evincing cooling cores in order to place stringent limits on the cluster CRp population by using non-detections of EGRET. In this context, we examined the possibility of a hadronic origin of Coma-sized radio halos as well as radio mini-halos. Especially for mini-halos, strong clues are provided by the very plausible small amount of required CRp energy density and a matching radio profile. Introducing the hadronic minimum energy criterion, we show that the energetically favored CRp energy density is constrained to $2\%{\pm}1\%$ of the thermal energy density in Perseus. We also studied the CRp population within the cooling core region of Virgo using the TeV $\gamma$-ray detection of M 87 by HEGRA. Both the expected radial $\gamma$-ray profile and the required amount of CRp support this hadronic scenario.

As for structural system, which constitutes his construction, there are column inside dimension and span which constitutes plane, and as for constructions for section, there are C.H and slab, and as for constructive factors for envelope, there are window and closing panel of outer wall, and as for opening, there are punching window and wave window. With these constructive parts and opening of envelope, his construction composes volume and mass. The relation of structure and modulor which are shown in his later construction can be divided in two cases that modulor is directly and indirectly adapted for rate and measure calculation of the constructive body. As for indirectly adapted case, we can find it form most of his later construction, it is living place in which human beings life is, and it is adapted mainly for small space. In his construction, he tried to tell human scale and sense of musical rhythm through modulor. In other words, he played sense of space and musical scale by adapting regular and repetitive modulor of opening, and in small space for daily life, he made the size of space into the space which human can perceive. And, if we interpret mudulor in modern meaning, it is an establishment of radius of human act. And, we can make organic and harmonic design of space if we use modulor as origin of human centered measurement calculation, and if we adapt space after dividing by use.

The objective of this study was to reveal the educational meanings of candlelight rallies for the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye. For this, the origin and history of Korean candlelight rallies were divided. The researcher divided Korean candlelight rallies into four stages such as rallies for cherishing Hyosun & Miseon for Stage1, rallies for opposing the import of US beef for Stage2, rallies for the impeachment of President Roh Moo-hyun for Stage3, and rallies for the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye for Stage4. After that, the researcher revealed five educational meanings of the candlelight rallies for the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye. First, it is the change of educational structure. Second, it is the appearance of new subject. Third, it is the place for democratic communication and expression. Fourth, it is the equality and solidarity. Fifth, it is the establishment of an opportunity to have rational growth.

The Main results of this paper about the river channel of Shincheon(river) are as follows: First, the argument that Shincheon had a different river channel from existing one before 1778 would be wrong. Second, the origin of the place name, Shincheon has been traced up to the year of 1778 also would be wrong. Third, Daegucheon(river) regarded as a distributary of Shincheon would be the different stream originated from Samjeong valley and near by hills. Forth, Daegucheon had mostly dried up and disappeared during the Japanese colonial times while part of Daegucheon had changed its channel into Icheoncheon(river). Fifth, the river channel of Shincheon since the historic age has been unchanged.

Gyeonggi rice has been placed relatively favorable market position in the domestic rice market. With the superiority of its quality, gyeonggi rice has been well recognized to consumers. The price of gyeonggi rice has placed higher position than that of others. But, gyeonggi rice are facing crisis on the competition by regional brands. Therefore, this study was carried out to find the differentiated marketing strategies on problem related with the product differentiation and brand marketing of gyeonggi rice. In order to find out how much the effort on the product differentiation of gyeonggi rice affects the price and brand recognition, fifty RPCs in gyeonggi province were surveyed. As the results, $22{\sim}23%$ of harvested rice which was gathered into RPC was come out 'obscurity of production origin' when we consider material hull rice in the original production territory by collecting time and channel. With comparing sales weight of gyeonggi rice by the place of shipment, agricultural cooperative channel was the highest by 44.7%. And, wholesaler comes to 17.7%, discount outlet store was 13.9%, large quantity delivery in business was 11.1%, and department store was only 5.2%. Finally, we could consider to adopt the traceability system on gyeonggi rice distribution system from production to consumers' table to get consumers' credibility and compete imported high quality rice.

Drifting Cups on a Meandering Stream (Kyokusui-no-En) is a Poetry Party that had its origin In ancient China, and was introduced to Japan passing through Korea. The flow of the meandering stream was made clear using the flow visualization techniques, surface floating method, PTV and the numerical simulation. At the same time, the motions of floating cup, the floating speed, relating speed and the trajectory of the cup were also analysed by using an originally developed image processing technique. Based on these researches, the model channel was considered. To make this party interesting the channel must has the characteristic that the drifting cups take the random pass and stagnant at the unexpected place. This model channel is satisfied with these conditions and the fluid mechanics consideration is performed on the both points of the experimental visualization and numerical simulation.
