Analysis the Performance of Asymmetric Optical Pick-up Actuator with PCB type Coil (PCB형 코일을 이용한 비대칭 광픽업 액추에이터의 성능분석)

  • 'Coil' occupies very much important position in delivering driving force of optical pick-up actuators. Up to now the main stream has been a winding coil type actuator, but actuators using FP-Coil(fine pattern coil) have been considered for the more compacted and simple manufacturing process and have variously spreaded the application fields by product. We have tried to design actuators using PCB-Coil(printed circuit board coil) which has benefits in terms of price and manufacturing process. Especially this research has two main things to reduce the vibration of sub-resonance and to assure the DC sensitivity among the performances of asymmetric optical pick-up actuator with PCB-Coil.

  • Estrus cycle of cow, season and follicldar stimulating treatment, having an effect on the number of follicle, are investigated for the oocyte recovery rate in ovum pick-up(OPU). The number of follicle aspirated and oocyte collected on the different days of estrus cycle(D 4~5, D 9~10 and D 14~15) were not significantly different among the groups. The higher number of viable oocytes were produced on Jan-May(79.0%) than Jun-Aug(33.3%) by OPU in cow. The number of follicle and aspirated oocyte in cows treated FSH or PMSG combined with bovine somatotropin(bST) were 1.2~1.5 times higher than in cows treated alone follicular stimulating hormone(FSH) or pregnant mare serum gonadotropin(PMSG). In conclusion, OPU can be repeatedly practiced 2 or 3 times in an estrus cycle. In addition, the high environmental temperature is not good for ovarian function of cow and the bST co-treatment with FSH or PMSG is increasing the number of aspiratable follicle.

Effect of Surface Modification by Solvent Treatment on Morphology and Radionuclide Pick-up Efficiency of Polysulfone Film (폴리설폰 필름의 형상 및 방사성 오염물 채취에 있어 용매처리의 효과)

  • The surface of dense polysulfane films was modified through solvent treatment. The modification process consisted of dipping a film for one second in dimethylformamide and then immersing it Into a nonsolvent bath. After being solidified, the original transparent film transformed into an opaque white one, which is due to the light scattering on pores newly developed on the surface. The surface roughness entailing the pore formation was more explicit on a film coagulated by water as nonsolvent than on a film coagulated by isopropanol. The surface-modified films show the better pick-up efficiency than a conventional filter paper on the detaching of radioactive contaminants on the contaminated area. The pick-up efficiency of the film prepared by the water immersion process was superior to that of the film prepared in the isopropanol bath, which was consistent with the surface roughness result. The surface-modified films kept the dense inner structure, playing a major role preventing a possible secondary contamination during the pick-up process.

Effect of impression coping and implant angulation on the accuracy of implant impressions: an in vitro study

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy of the implant master cast according to the type (pick-up, transfer) and the length (long, short) of the impression copings. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The metal master cast was fabricated with three internal connection type implant analogs (Osstem GS III analog), embedded parallel and with $10^{\circ}$ of mesial angulation to the center analog. Four types of impression coping were prepared with different combinations of types (transfer, pick-up) and lengths (long, short) of the coping. The impressions were made using vinyl polysiloxane (one step, heavy + light body) with an individual tray, and 10 impressions were made for each group. Eventually, 40 experimental casts were produced. Then, the difference in the distance between the master cast and the experimental cast were measured, and the error rate was determined. The analysis of variance was performed using the SPSS (v 12.0) program (${\alpha}$= .05), and the statistical significance was set at P < .05. RESULTS. The ANOVA showed that the pick-up type impression coping exhibited a significantly lower error rate than the transfer type. However, no significant difference was observed with respect to the length of the impression coping. Additionally, no significant difference was observed between the parallel and mesial angulated groups. CONCLUSION. Within the limitations of this study, the pick-up type impression coping exhibited a more accurate implant master cast than the transfer type in parallel group. The accuracy of the implant master cast did not differ for different lengths of impression coping of at least 11 mm. Additionally, the accuracy of the implant cast was not different for the parallel and $10^{\circ}$ mesial angulated groups.

Decoloring Effect of Viscose Rayon by Using Vapor Type Ozone Processing (오존 기상처리방법에 의한 비스코스 레이온의 탈색효과)

  • We studied on the decoloring effect of viscose rayon by vapor type ozone processing using ozone's strong oxidation. When ozone is generated, it becomes high concentration in vapor state, but in the insolving process with water, there are a lot of lose of ozone. As a result, a study using ozone in vapor-high concentration state is needed. So, in this paper, vapor type ozone processing is used unlike previous ozone treatment method-an aqueous solution method-to get a good effect from shortening the processing time. When vapor type ozone processing was directly treated to fabrics, high concentration ozone was generated then in a short time oxidized a dye existed in fabrics and finally decolored it. As vapor type ozone did not directly response to an organic dye, viscose rayon's decolorization was to be studied by changing pick up ratio(60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%) using water as a medium. When pick up ratio of water was 40%, fabric's whiteness was improved but tensile strength and elongation were reduced. So 60 minutes was assumed as the most adjust time to minimize the reduction of fabric's tensile strength and elongation moreover of maximize the improvement of whiteness.

  • This paper presents a digital based input/output interface circuit for controlling and monitoring the Diesel Engine Generator for Emergency. In order to monitor and control of the Emergency Diesel Engine Generator, controlling and monitoring circuits need 5 analog input channels, 2 pick-up coil measuring circuits, 10 digital input channels containing Broken Wire Detect function, and 7 relay control signal output channels. This system performs signal processing of input signal taking advantage of simple filter circuit, photo-coupler and comparator circuit at analog input parts, and output signals for main relay is designed acting by double control, so it prevents malfunction completely. And it improves accuracy of speed input signal by applying digital circuit that processes pick-up coil signal.

  • High-density optical information storing equipment, which is using Blu-ray, is the next generation information storing equipment that has about form six times to thirty-five times capacities. and high-density optical information storing equipment uses high NA(Numerical Aperture) aspheric glass objective lens as optical pick-up equipment to record and recognize high-density date. Generally this objective lens is developed and produced through a way of GMP(Glass Molding Press) that uses molding core that is performde by Ultra precision grinding, but grinding performing that has high-accuracy is very difficult because objective lens form is high NA. In this research, we preformed Ultra precision turning, using single crystal diamond bite, about WC(Co 0.5%), sintering brittleness material that is used molding core's material for GMP. and we confirmed aspheric glass lens compression of deformities molding core's Ultra precision turning possibility by measuring surface roughness(Ra) and processing surface's condition.

Study on Through Paths Inside the Air Pressure Pick-Up Head for Non-Contact Gripper (비접촉식 그리퍼 적용을 위한 공기압 파지식 헤드 내부 관통로 고찰)

  • In the semiconductor and display device production processes, the handling of sensitive objects needs new carrying technology. Floating carrying motion is a practical alternative solution for non-contact handling of parts and substrates. This paper presents a study of through paths inside the air pressure pick-up head to generate the floating motion. The air motion by conceptual designed paths inside the head gradually develops positive pressure and vacuum between narrow objects. Positive pressure occurs through the head tip before discharging outside of the head. Negative pressure is developed by evacuating the inside head bottom as result of the radial flow connecting the vertical through-holes. The numerical analysis was done to figure out the stable levitation caused by the two acting forces between surfaces. In comparing with the standard case that the levitation gap gets 0.7-0.9 mm, it confirms the suggested head characteristics to show floating capacity in accordance with the head size, number of through-hole, and locations of through-hole in succession of conceptual design for a prototype.

  • This experiment was carried out to develop the anesthetic methods for ultrasonography and a new simplified disposable needle guidance device for ovum pick-up(OPU) in cows. Three different anesthetic methods were applied as. 1) epidural analgesia only with 2% lidocaine(20~30 ml), 2) epidural analgesia with 2% under general sedation with xylazine, 3) epidural analgesia with 2% lidocaine under general sedation with detomidine. We evaluated the anesthetic effects with items such as relaxation of anal sphincter, tail movement and rectal wall, retractability of both ovaries, additional anesthesia and possibility of OPU. Through this experiment, the above three anesthetic methods were applicable to OPU, but the epidural anlagesia under general sedation with detomldine was most effective for OPU. We developed a new disposable needle guidance device with stainless steel tube. With this, disposable needles can be easily attatchable to any other intravaginal probes. And also, it was found to he practical, economic and effective for OPU with the recovery rate of 51.2%.

Study on Ovum Pick-up(OPU) with Finger-Sensibility using Oocyte Recovery in Holstein Heifers (젖소에서 초음파기기를 이용한 난자 채취에 있어서 손가락 촉지를 이용한 난포란의 채란)

  • This study was conducted to develop an improved method for oocyte pick-up(OPU) with finger-sensibility using ultrasound-guidance from ovarian follicles in Holstein heifers. Oocytes were aspirated from ovarian follicles of clear-outline (>2mm), obscure-outline and invisible($\leq$ 2mm) on ultrasound images with 3 different vacuum pressure(40, 80, 120mmHg). Total number of oocytes recovered/follicles were 309/237(130.4%). 113/80(141.3%) and 107/74(144.6%) with 40, 80 and 120 mmHg of vacuum pressure, respectively. Mean number of oocytes recovered was higher in 2 OPU/week (18.3$\pm$5.3) than 1 OPU/week(14.5$\pm$4.1), but this difference was not statistical1y significant. The recovery rates were not affected by the number of OPU as 135.6%(282 oocytes/208 follicles) in 1~20 OPU, 137.7% (168/122) in 21~40 OPU and 148.4%(92/62) in 41~60 OPU, respectively. The proportions of good oocytes (Grades I) recovered were not significantly different by the number of OPU until 40 OPU(12.4% in 1~20 OPU vs 16.7% in 21~40 OPU). However, a significantly(P<0.05) lower recovery rate resulted from more than 40 OPU compared to less than 40 OPU(7.6%). These results imply that more fertilizable oocytes can be produced from invisible-immature follicles by transvaginal aspiration with finger-sensibility from Holstein heifers.
