점진적 근력 운동이 노인의 활동에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Progressive Exercise on the Activities of the Elderly)

  • For the purpose of disclosing the effects of progressive low intensity exercise on the activity of the elderly, questionnaire survey and physical fitness examination were performed on the subjects who were 65 years old or older. The subjects were assigned into two groups using paired matching on gender and age: experimental group (33 persons) and control groups (35 persons). The subjects in experimental group was put on the low intensity exercise program (exercising upper and lower limbs for 12 weeks using dumbbell and lead-packed weight). The results showed that the difference of physical and social behavior scores among activities before and after exercise were significantly higher in all variables of general characteristics, health habits and status, perception, and physical fitness. The findings of this research suggested that the progressive low intensity exercise improves the activities of the elderly, physical activity, self assessed activity, activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, social behavior of the elderly be affected by general characteristics, health habits and status, perception, and physical fitness.

노인의 신체활동 참여에 따른 체력과 인지기능, ADL, IADL, 및 심리적 변인의 차이 (Differences in Physical fitness, Cognitive function, ADL, IADL, and Psychological variables according to the Elderly's participation in Physical activity)

  • 본 연구는 서울·경기 소재 65세 이상 노인 463명을 대상으로 신체활동 참여에 따른 체력요인과 인지기능, 일상생활수행능력, 도구적 일상생활수행능력 및 심리적 변인에 대한 차이를 분석하였다. 수집 된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 독립 t-검증과 일원분산분석 그리고 피어슨의 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며 모든 통계적 유의수준은 p<.05로 설정하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 노인의 신체활동 참여유무에 따라 체력, 인지기능, 일상생활수행능력, 도구적일상생활수행능력 및 심리적 변인인 우울과 삶의 질에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 신체활동에 참여하는 노인의 참여빈도에 따라 체력, 인지기능, ADL, IADL, 우울 및 삶의 질에 통계적 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 신체활동에 참여하는 노인의 참여시간에 따라 체력에서 통계적 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 체력과 인지기능, ADL, IADL, 우울 및 삶의 질의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과 대부분의 요인에서 상관관계가 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인의 성공적인 노화와 자립적인 노후생활을 위해 신체활동을 포함한 체계적인 중재 전략의 개발이 필요하다.

  • 군에서 군인들의 체력 관리와 전투력 향상을 위한 필수적인 요소로서, 군인들의 운동 능력, 체력, 건강 수준을 효과적으로 측정하고 모니터링하는 중요성을 강조한다. 체력의 효과적인 측정이 관리의 핵심이며, 이는 현대경영학의 원칙과 일치하고 있다. 특히, 전장의 동적인 변화에 대비하기 위해서는 강인한 체력을 가진 군인을 양성하는 것이 중요하다. 이 연구에서는 RFM(Recency, Frequency, Monetary) 고객 분석 및 클러스터링 방법을 전자상거래에서 검증된 방법으로 소개하며, 이를 기반으로 머신러닝 알고리즘이 적용된 AI 고객 분석 방법을 군인 체력 평가에 적용하기 위해, RSC(Reveal, Sustainable, Control) 분석 모형을 도입하여 군인 체력을 효과적으로 분류하고 모니터링하는 방법을 검토하였다. RFM 기법을 적용한 RSC 분석 모형을 통해 군인 체력을 계량화하고 모델링함으로써 지속적인 발전을 도모하고 체력 관리의 효과를 높일 수 있는 전략을 모색하였다. 이러한 방법을 통해 군인의 체력을 향상하고 유지하는데 있어서 AI 고객 분석 기법을 응용한 RSC 클러스터링 분석방법을 도출하였다.

장애 아동청소년의 건강관련 체력에 대한 신체활동의 효과성 고찰: 체계적 문헌조사 (Systematic Review of Effects of Physical Activity on Health-related Physical Fitness Among Children and Youth with Disabilities)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 체계적 문헌조사를 통해 신체활동 프로그램이 장애 아동청소년의 건강관련체력에 미치는 효과성에 대해 알아보는데 있다. 논문 검색을 위해 ERIC, Child Development & Adolescent Studies, MEDLINE, SPORTDiscus with Full Text, and CINAHL Plus with Full Text 사용되었으며, 검색된 논문 1195편 중 연구 선별기준에 부합한 13편이 최종 선정되어 분석되었다. 논문분석 결과 가장 많이 나타난 신체활동 형태는 지역시설을 기반으로 한 신체활동 프로그램이었으며, 학교 체육과 가정 중심 신체활동이 다음을 이루었다. 또한 신체활동 프로그램을 통해 가장 뚜렷한 향상을 보인 건강관련 체력 요소는 근력 및 근지구력, 심폐지구력, 유연성으로 나타났다. 반면 신체구성과 체중에 감량에 관련하여 신체활동의 효과성은 제한적이었다.

규칙적인 태극권의 참여가 유방암 수술환자의 산화-항산화계에 미치는 영향 (Tai Chi Exercise on MDA, SOD and Physical Fitness in Breast Cancer Patients)

  • Treatment for breast cancer produces side effects that diminish functional capacity and quality of life (QOL) among survivors. Tai Chi is a moderate form of exercise that may improve functional capacity, physical activity and oxidative stress. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of regular Tai Chi exercise on malondialdehyde (MDA), SOD and physical fitness (muscle strength, flexibility, flexion, extension, adduction, and abduction). Forty obese women were recruited from a public health center and divided into control (CON: n=20) and trained (EXP: n=20) groups. The Tai Chi exercise group participated in a 12-week (4 times/week) training program. Data were analyzed with T-test. MDA, SOD and physical fitness (muscle strength, flexibility, flexion, extension, adduction, and abduction) were evaluated before and after the Tai Chi program in both groups. There were significant improvements in shoulder flexibility, flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction. However, there was no improvement in muscle strength. There were also significant improvements in MDA and SOD. Based on these results, Tai Chi exercise has been shown to stimulate endogenous antioxidant enzymes and reduce oxidative damage markers. and also be effective in improving physical fitness and QOL. Further study is needed in this area.

여자 교대생들의 BMI에 따른 체격, 체력, 체조성 및 혈중지질 비교 (Physique, Physical Fitness, Body Composition and Blood Lipid by BMI of Female Students in a Teachers' College)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide the basic materials to form sense of value for health and to emphasize the importance of physical education by comparative analysis of physique, physical fitness, body composition and blood. Methods: The subjects were 188 female college students and they were classified 3 groups by BMI: lower weight group (LWG), normal weight group (NWG), and over weight group (OWG). Results: In the physique, there was significantly high in order LWGNWG, OWG in unbalance of the upper and lower parts of the body, and LWG, OWGNWG, OWG in HDL-C. Conclusions: In the result of this study, it is recognized that regular exercise as well as eating right, life style are needed and offered to take part in the exercise programs for healthy campus life of female college students.

성장기 한국인 남녀 기초체력 향상에 관한 연구 (남자 중.고등학생을 대상으로 하여) (Studies on the Physical Fitness of the Middle and High School Boys)

  • The effects of Physical exercise, gymnastics and sports on the cardiopulmonary function were studied in the middle and high school toys. The subjects were divided into 4 groups; non-training group and training group in both middle school and high school boys. In the above groups, pulmonary function studies were performed, and blood pressure and the heart rate were also checked to evaluate physical fitness during and immediately after running exercise on the tread-mill, with the speed of 5 MPH and elevation of 9% and 11.25%. The types of sports in the training group were base ball, body building, Taekwondo (Korean style boxing) and hand ball. The results obtained were as followings: 1) In the training group, cardiopulmonary function showed some tendency of the increase comparing to the non-training group. 2) The increase in cardiopulmonary function was observed according to the age became older, but the clear changes on cardiopulmonary function was not observed as the difference of the group between the training and the non-training. 3) The expiratory volume was decreased as the increase of age except 17 years of age for the value of the per kg body weight. 4) In the non-training group, the mean value of oxygen consumption under maximum work load was increased, while those in the training group was decreased. But it may be noted that oxygen consumption for the expiratory volume was increased in the training group, and that the oxygen cost in the training group was .higher than that of the non-training group. 5) The pulse pressure of the high school group during and immediately after running exercise was observed in the higher value comparing with that of the middle school group It was suggested that the changes of the pulse pressure was owing to the method of determination and that to the decrease of diastolic pressure caused by the decrease of peripheral vascular resistance up to critical closing pressure. 6) Any differences of the changes in the heart rate between the training group and non-training group was not observed during and immediately after running exercise. 7) The relative value of the expiratory volume to the heart rate was decreased in the elder age group.

운동 프로그램이 양로원 노인의 체력과 일상활동 수행능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Exercise Program on Physical Fitness, Living Activities, and Performance Abilities for Elderly in the Institution)

  • For the purpose of disclosing the effects of exercise program on physical fitness for health promotion, living activities, and performance abilities of the elderly in the institution, questionnaire survey and physical examination were performed on the subject, aged 65 years or older. The subjects consisted of experimental (33 persons) and control (35 persons) groups, matched with gender and age. The experimental group was put on the exercise program; working their upper and lower limbs for 12 weeks using dumbbell and lead-packed weight. The results were as follows: 1)The mean values of experimental group were significantly higher than those of control group in all variables of physical fitness, in all variables except for living activities, and in all variables of performance abilities after exercise program. 2)The mean values were significantly improved in all variables of experimental group after exercise program, but the mean values were decreased or maintained in most of variables of control group after exercise.

수중운동 프로그램이 여성노인의 체지방, 골격근량, 체력 및 우울에 미치는 효과 (Effects of the Aquatic Exercise Program on Body Fat, Skeletal Muscle Mass, Physical Fitness and Depression in Elderly Women)

  • Purpose: The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of a aquatic exercise program on body mass index, body fat percentage and skeletal muscle mass, physical fitness using SFT (senior fitness test) and depression in elderly women. Methods: This study included 59 elderly women. Aquatics exercise program was performed three times per week for 12 weeks using rating of perceived exertion and body mass index, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, physical fitness and depression were measured before and after exercise program. Statistical analysis was performed using t-test. Results: Body mass index (p=.002) and body fat percentage (p=.021) were significantly decreased after aquatic exercise program. Chair stand (p=.009), 2 minute step test (p<.001), back scratch (p<.001), and chair sit and reach (p<.001) were significantly increased after the aquatic exercise program. But, there was no significant differences in the depression. Conclusion: It is suggested the aquatic exercise program may play a significant role in improving body fat and physical fitness in the elderly women. However, as well as aquatic exercise program, sustained encouragement are required to improve physical and psychological traits.

에어로빅운동 기간중 위약처치가 신체적성과 심리적 안정감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Placebo on the Physical Fitness and the Psychological Wellbeing during Aerobic Exercise)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effect of placebo(emotional stimulus) on physical fitness and psychological wellbeing. The subjects for the study were devided into two groups. One experimental group received placebo and the other control group did not receive. Each group was composed of 15 women. The subjects continued aerobic exercise for an hour each time, three times a week, for eight weeks. The enhancement of physical fitness has been evaluated by body weight, BP, pulse rate, skinfold thickness, circumference of waist and hip, body fat, % body fat, lean body mass, % lean body mass they were measured three times every 4 weeks. Also to evaluate the enhancement of psychological wellbeing, the self-esteem and self-perception were measured. The results can be summarized as follows : 1. The % body fat of experimental group decreased significantly than that of control group(p<0.1). 2. The % lean body mass of experimental group decreased significantly than that of control group(p<0.1). 3. There was no significant difference of other physical fitness factors between experimental group and control group. 4. There was no significant difference of self-esteem between experimental group and control group. 5. There was no significant difference of self-perception between experimental group and control group. From these results, it may be concluded that placebo(emotional stimulus) which received during aerobic exercise period is partially effective in the enhancement of the physical fitness.
