Costume play is an act of imitating the appearance or behavior of characters in digital games, cartoons or animations. In recent years, cosplay culture has become popular in China as the digital game is made into a movie. The number of cosers has also increased. Especially, Qiwei Zoe has been very popular among cosers because her cosplay photography reflects the understanding of the cosplay culture. A number of cosers admit that her work shows a commercial and artistic potential of cosplay photography. This paper analyzed how she maintains the contents of the original but creatively reimplementing them. She shoots the fantastic image of the character like it really exists in reality so that she can avoid excessive editing work. She emphasizes the character's action that symbolizes its personality and utilizes a variety of outdoor shooting locations similar to the original scenes. We also discussed how cosplay photographers can create cosplay photography by maintaining its artistic features.

Soft X-ray photography was used to study some characters of seeds, such as fullness, damage by blight and harmful insects and degree of mechanical damages, degree of development of embryos and endosperms, size and position of cotylendons, existence and position of twin seed. Thirty nine species of woody plants (31 angiosperms and 8 gymnosperms)and four species of herbs were examined in this study. The results showed that through the mechanism of the selective sensitivity of seed structure of soft X-ray, seed characters mentioned above could be recognized regardless of size of seeds and thickness of seed coat. We concluded that it is possible to use soft X-ray photography reliably to find out the various characters of seeds.

This study analyzed 'The representation of death' as expressed in the fashion photography posted on Facebook. Currently, there is a growing interest in 'Well-dying'. Also contemporary art and fashion is a trend that expressed what about death more than life. And today, Facebook is one of the current worldwide as a powerful communication. Death representation in contemporary fashion photography, as expressed in its first characteristic is 'Vanitas', and the main material was a skull. The shape of a skeleton of the symbol of death. Vanitas of inner meaning is vain, a mortal life's futility and death for the paradoxical emotion. The second characteristic is 'Phantom of the ruins'. This is like the darkness of death, and the shape represented in that space. And the death representation is depressed, gloomy atmosphere, dead-man and warm-less. Inner meaning is curiosity about the ghosts and the decadence romantic about the afterlife. The last characteristic is 'Grotesque'. This characteristic is the destruction of the body, fear of sadistic, and inhuman shape. This is parable with death that pain and fear of death, dark fantasy, the appearance of a contradiction modern society and cut off humanity. Inner meaning is the dark fear of death and the anger of wrong of the present society. At present, we have to reproduce the death, and what we want is eventually no one can escape 'Attention to death'. In addition, by expressing the solidarity between death and life is to want to get a consolation for the anxiety and afraid reality.

In the present study, the structure and the characteristics of gaseous premixed flame impinging normal to the flat plate have been investigated experimentally. For the examination of the heat transfer and combustion characteristics, measurements of temperature, direct and schlieren photography were performed. The results of present study show that the length of inner flame becomes smaller as distance from nozzle exit to plate decrease. The width of flame becomes larger as air-fuel ratio decreases. The smaller Reynolds number at nozzle exit and the smaller distance from nozzle exit to plate lead to the higher heat transfer rate in the region of center of plate. As the air-fuel ratio decreases, the heat transfer at plate with moderate rate occurs on wide region.

The clinical characteristics of photodamaged skin, such as coarse and fine wrinkle are not accurately evaluable with previous methods. Public awareness for wrinkle treatment and prevention which rely on proper assessment and evaluation of the underlying skin changes has been increased as the population ages. In this paper, we suggest an in-vivo method and instrument that allow us to acquire a wrinkle-enhanced image to improve the accuracy of quantitative and qualitative analysis for skin wrinkle. The method used involved white LED illumination and photography through polarizing filters. Finally, the polarized light photography yields an accurate and evaluable parameter of photodamaged skin, especially fine and coarse wrinkle.

3차원 영상은 정보전달의 효과 면에서 기존의 어떠한 디스플레이보다 월등한 것으로 평가되고 있으며, 입체 TV/영화, 게임, 의료, 관광, 전시, 회의 등의 여러 분야에서 다양하게 응용되리라 기대된다. 이에 따라 3차원 영상을 구현하기 위한 여러 방법들이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 홀로그래피 방법은 이론적으로 완전한 입체 영상을 구현할 수 있으나, 광원으로 레이저를 사용해야 하는 등 현재로서는 해결해야 할 문제들이 많다. 양안 시차를 이용한 stereoscopy 방법은 multi-view 방식이 꾸준히 연구되고 있지만, 시점의 위치가 고정되고 눈의 피로도가 증가하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 주목받고 있는 IP(Integral Photography) 방법을 이용한 3차원 동영상 디스플레이 기술에 대한 기초 연구 수행 결과를 논의하고자 한다. As a tool for strain measurement to work with screw driven or hydraulic material test systems, in which mechanical vibration is inherent, SSDG (Speckle Strain/Displacement Gage), ESP (Electronic Speckle Photography) and its 3-dimension version SDSP are evaluated for the theory and practical appliance. Through tension test of steel strips, their validity and shortcomings are examined. As the results, it has been shown that, although SSDG and ESP provide direct measurement of in-plane strain in one direction, they are so sensitive to the out-plane displacement. On the other hand, SDSP which is aided with DIC (Digital Image Correlation) technique to trace the movement of the speckles provides not only in-plane 2-dimensional displacement field, but also out-of-plane displacement simultaneously. However, because the DIC is time-consuming, not automated yet and it needs post-processing to evaluate strain from the displacement field, SDSP appears to be not adequate as a real time sensor.

We investigated an anti-aliasing (AA) filter for digital camera photography by which the excessively high-frequency components of the image signal are suppressed to avoid the aliasing effect. Our optomechanical AA filter was implemented by applying rapid relative motions to the imaging sensor. By the engineered motion blur of the mechanical dithers, the effective point-spread function (PSF) of the imaging system could be tailored to reject the unwanted high-frequency components of the image. For optimal operations, we developed a spiral filter motion protocol that could produce a Gaussian-like PSF. We experimentally demonstrated that our AA filter provides an improved filtering characteristic with a better compromise of the rejection performance and the signal loss. We also found that the pass band characteristic can be enhanced further by a color-differential acquisition mode. Our filter scheme provides a useful method of digital photography for low-error image measurements as well as for ordinary photographic applications where annoying $moir{\acute{e}}$ patterns must be suppressed efficiently.

The similarity between two groups of displaying methods is demonstrated in two ways, analytically and experimentally. A variety of layouts of the integral photography and display devices based on the point light source model is classified and analyzed in terms of projections and common/separate image planes. In particularly, the transformation matrix is found. Simulation experiments based on the image processing were performed. The layouts, analytical formulas, and experimental results show the similarity of both groups for several layouts.
