The purpose of this study was to classify side somatotypes of the trunk by analysing photographic data. Then their distribution according to the age groups was studied. The subjects were 315 females of 18 to 49 year-old. Thirty one photographic measurements were taken to each subject. The factors affecting the side somatotype of the trunk were obtained by principal component analysis, vertical size, posterior/anterior depth and neck posture. The side somatotypes of the trunk were classified into 4 types and their differences were shown by analysing photographic data. The side silhouettes of 4 types were compared with balanced type. By suggesting the canonical discriminant function with the unstandardized canonical coefficient, individual somatotype of the trunk could be discriminated from the photographic data of anterior neck height, anterior waist height, posterior waist depth, buttock height, and anterior depth at the level of back protrusion. The frequency distribution of the side somatotypes of the trunk according to the age groups could be applied for clothing construction and the rate of clothing production.

In this paper, it was studied about the red-sensitive layer. UV-Vis data of the dye at monomeric and J-state were considered with respect to their performance(contrast, density and fog) in photographic emulsion. The sensitizing effect of the dye is found to be strongly structuredependent. Naphthothiazolo carbocyanine dye can be used as red-sensitizing dye for the spectral sensitization of photographic emulsion.

The study is about practical use of the computer program developed to obtain more efficient and accurate photographic measurement of body. Measuring measurements automatically using this program, the observational errors can be reduced considerably, so that the accuracy of photographic measurement are improved. The program has several functions as follow; First, free rotation of body by horizontal and perpendicular control of photo data. Second, recognition of body outline of photo data and automatic measuring of 45 basic items as well as freehand measuring of height, width, depth, angle. Third, obtaining database of photographic measurements of each subject without additional process such as data input.

본 연구에서는 이용자들이 근현대사진기록 가치에 대한 인식조사와 근현대사진기록의 이용의사에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 일반이용자 95명을 대상으로 설문조사를 분석하였다. 독립변수로는 기록물의 증거적 가치, 정보적 가치, 이용적 가치, 그리고 실물적 가치를 설정하였다. 종속변수로는 근현대사진기록의 이용의사를 설정하여 독립요인들이 어떻게 사진기록 이용의사에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 실물적 가치와 정보적 가치가 근현대사진기록의 이용의사에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 연구결과는 추후 근현대 사진기록 아카이브를 구축하거나 관련 정책을 수립할 때 기초자료로 활용할 것으로 기대된다.

항공사진촬영은 계획된 노선을 따라 항공기를 조정하여 적절한 위치에서 촬영을 수행하는 작업이다. 특히 3차원 공간데이터 구축을 위하여 사용되는 다각사진촬영시스템의 경우 대형 CCD가 중형 CCD를 사용함으로써 촬영면적이 크지 않아서 적절한 위치에서 촬영이 이루어 지지 않는 경우 충분한 중복도를 확보하지 못하여 외부표정요소 결정에 문제가 발생할 소지가 있다. 따라서, GPS/INS를 이용하여 정확한 항공기의 위치를 결정하여 사전에 계획된 위치에서 촬영을 실시함으로써, 정확한 3차원 공간데이터의 모델링을 수행할 수 있다.

Our laboratory originally developed the compact, multi-spectral, automatic aerial photographic system PKNU3 to allow greater flexibility in geological and environmental data collection. We are currently developing the PKNU3 system, which consists of a color-infrared spectral camera capable of simultaneous photography in the visible and near-infrared bands; a thermal infrared camera; two computers, each with an 80-gigabyte memory capacity for storing images; an MPEG board that can compress and transfer data to the computers in real-time; and the capability of using a helicopter platform. Before actual aerial photographic testing of the PKNU3, we experimented with each sensor. We analyzed the lens distortion, the sensitivity of the CCD in each band, and the thermal response of the thermal infrared sensor before the aerial photographing. As of September 2004, the PKNU3 development schedule has reached the second phase of testing. As the result of two aerial photographic tests, R, G, B and IR images were taken simultaneously; and images with an overlap rate of 70% using the automatic 1-s interval data recording time could be obtained by PKNU3. Further study is warranted to enhance the system with the addition of gyroscopic and IMU units. We evaluated the PKNU 3 system as a method of environmental remote sensing by comparing each chlorophyll image derived from PKNU 3 photographs. This appraisement was backed up with existing study that resulted in a modest improvement in the linear fit between the measures of chlorophyll and the RVI, NDVI and SAVI images stem from photographs taken by Duncantech MS 3100 which has same spectral configuration with MS 4000 used in PKNU3 system.

장준하가 창간한 『사상계(思想界)』(1953년~1970년)는 당시 권위주의 정부를 정면으로 비판하며 한국 사회의 지성인을 대변했던 월간 시사교양지다. 『사상계』는 다양한 시사 주제를 사진화보로 제작하여 사진을 뉴스밸류를 갖는 시각적 도구로 활용했다. 본 논문은 이러한 『사상계』의 사진화보를 기록물로 바라보고 그 가치를 고찰하고자 한다. 가치 평가에 앞서 『사상계』 사진화보의 전개과정과 특징을 전반적으로 살펴보았다. 그리고 사진화보가 담고 있는 주제를 본문 내용 구분을 기준으로 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화면 및 기타로 나눈 뒤 대표 화보를 소개했다. 기록학적 관점으로 사진을 바라보는 것이란, 사진이 단순 데이터 그 이상의 의미를 갖고 있음을 확인하는 과정이다. 『사상계』 사진화보는 1960년대 사회를 증거하며 주요 시각정보를 담고 있는 사진기록물이다. 또한 『사상계』 사진화보는 한국 잡지 기록사진(다큐멘터리사진)의 측면에서 사진사적 의미를 갖는다. 본 논문을 통해 『사상계』의 사진화보가 미술사의 분과 학문의 사진사적 가치를 갖고 있을 뿐만 아니라 사진기록물로서 기록학적 차원의 증거적, 정보적 가치를 충실하게 갖춘 한국 현대사회의 기록 유산임을 밝히고자 한다.

Concept of the comfort and fitness has become a major concern in the basic function of the ready-made clothes. Until now, ready-made clothes were not made by on the basis of the bodytype, but by the body size only. This research was performed to classify and characterize the bodytypes of Korean adult males. Sample size was 1290 subjects and their age range was from 19 to 54 years old. 15 variables from the photographic data of 1112 subjects were applied to analyse the bodytype of th\ulcorner lower part of trunk. Data were analyzed by the multivariate method, especially factor and cluster analysis. The groups forming a cluster can be subdivided into 5 sets by crosstabulation extracted by the hierarchical cluster analysis. 5 bodytypes classified by the photographic sources could be combined with the anthropcmetric data and were demonstrated with 5 silhouette. Type 2 and 3 in the lower part of trunk were dominant and were composed of the majority of 56.8% of the subjects. Bodytypes of Korean males were influenced by the degree of posture erectness and of curvature of the front side of the body in waist and abdomen.
