OWL Modeling using Ontology for Context Aware Recommendation Service (상황 인식 추천 서비스를 위한 온톨로지 이용 OWL 모델링)

  • It is essential to have Context-aware technology for personalization recommendation services and the appropriate representation and definition of Context information for context-aware. Ontology is possible to represent knowledge freely and knowledge can be extended by inferring. In addition, design of the ontology model is needed according to the purposes of utilization. This paper used context-aware technologies to implement a user personalization recommendation service. It also proposed the context through OWL modeling for user personalization recommendation service and used inference rules and inference engine for context reasoning.

  • The importance of "personalization technology" has recently been highlighted due to the Covid-19 and the development of IT technology such as AI and big data, which is soon coming beyond personalization into the "super-personalization era." Therefore, in terms of the music streaming service market, it has formed a service supply trend in which individual tastes are respected and companies are seeking to establish a realistic analysis and development direction considering the external market environment. From this perspective, this paper sought to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the Genie Music's and provide a direction for development based on Genie Music's customer interactive strategy. In particular, it was intended to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of customer interactive strategies with the 'live music service platform' that moves with customers and to provide directions for future corporate development. As an analysis method, we looked at strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threat requirements based on SWOT analysis. Afterwards, the company attempted to present specific corporate development strategies through TOWS analysis.

The Effect of Website Characteristics and Online Service Quality of Kidult Online Shopping Mall on The Reliability and Repurchase Intention (키덜트 전문 쇼핑몰의 사이트 특성과 온라인 서비스 품질이 신뢰 및 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of characteristics of the online shopping mall website and the service quality factors required on the online service on the reliability and repurchase intention. Through this, the key customer response service and operation management strategy can be proposed for the growth of kidult online shopping mall which is continuously spreading. Also, implications for development direction can be suggested. For this purpose, the ES-QUAL and E-Rec-S-QUAL factors proposed by Parasuraman et al.(2005) were set as independent variables, as well as professionalism, diversity, playfulness, and personalization, and website reliability as a mediating factor, and repurchase intention as a dependent variable. For the analysis, a structured questionnaires survey was conducted to 200 domestic online shopping mall users. The main results are as follows. First, the professionalism, personalization in the characteristics, and service quality factors had positive effects on website reliability. Second, playfulness, personalization in the characteristics, and service quality factors had positive effects on repurchase intention. Third, website reliability had a positive effect on repurchase intention. Fourth, website reliability was found to mediate the relationship between predictive (independent) variables and dependent variables. The above results show that if a professional online shopping mall is equipped with online service quality and establish personalization through enhancing the professionalism, the online shopping mall can form a website reliability and expect to build continuous relationship with customers. In addition, implications can be suggested for future customer response service and operation management strategies.

  • Our research team implemented and operated the system by analyzing the membership information and identifying the different preferences for each group and providing the results of the recommendation based on accumulated membership information and activity log data to the individual. The utilization log was followed up. We analyzed how many people use recommended services and analyzed whether there are any factors other than the personalization service algorithm that affect the service utilization of the system with personalization. In addition, we propose recommendation methods based on behavioral changes when incentives are given through analyzing patterns of users' usage according to methods of recommending services and contents that are often used based on analysis contents.

  • Developing various ubiquitous computing services (U-services) is being propelled throughout the industry. As U-services are being penetrated into our daily life, research on the factors influencing the acceptance of U-services is highly needed. In this line of study, we examined previous literatures about information technology acceptance and UTAUT model, and applied UTAUT model to U-service acceptance. To characterize the U-services into our research model, we newly introduced 'context based personalization' factor. Since the respondents could not directly experience the U-services yet, we adopted scenario-based questionnaire. For this, we deliberately developed U-service scenario. And then this U-service scenario is verified using capability-based assessment method. Using data collected from 251 respondents, this study found that 'context based personalization' factor was positively and significantly related to the acceptance of U-service as well as UTAUT model's 4 factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions.

  • Personalization is user oriented dynamic method based on user preferences for easy access to what users want to view or get. It has become more important in mobile domain with rapid growth of wireless Internet and mobile phone market after success of web based market and therefore, it can be applied to service of spatial analysis result. In this paper, spatial analysis using user profile and notification service methods are proposed as one of personalized spatial data service methods for mobile users. A service system for spatial analysis with user profile is designed to prove possibility of spatial analysis based on user preferences and notification service is also designedto show generated output can be sent to user's mobile devices efficiently to make users informed of preferred information. Prototype system is implemented and it is applied to real estate data that has many selectable conditions by users. Information service based on user preferences can be applied to spatial data by using proposed system and it is efficient when cache module is used to shorten response time. Various user models for application domains and performance evaluation methods need to be developed in the future.

  • A major difference between on-line services and off-line services is in the quality of the service they provide. On-line services lack of dynamic interface between customers and service providers. Traditional studies on personalizing web services do not consider the intimacy level of customers to web services. This study suggests a web personalizing method to satisfy customers in on-line using intimacy theory, cluster analysis, and data mining. The goal of this study is to support customers in web with more intimate service. It also offers improved services to customers by personalizing web services dynamically.

A Study on the Effect of Service Quality, Consumer Empathy and Shopping Value on Curation Commerce Satisfaction

  • Purpose: This study was based on curation commerce that has been rapidly developing. It looked into the effect of curation commerce's quality of service factors (information quality, information interest quality, interaction quality, and personalization quality) on satisfaction and the mediating effect of consumer empathy and shopping value between service qualities and consumers' satisfaction with curation commerce. Research design, data, and methodology: The survey was conducted on 273 consumers who used Chinese curation commerce services. The research data was analyzed using the Smart PLS 3.0 program. The empirical analysis was conducted with reliability and validity analyses of the questionnaire and hypothesis test. Results: As a result, only the quality of information had a direct impact on satisfaction. The remaining service quaility factors (information interest quality, interaction quality, and personalization quality) were found to affect satisfaction through utilitarian value or consumer empathy. Conclusions: This study is meaningful in that it selected the service quality factors experienced by consumers about curation commerce services in line with the bright market prospects of curation services. In addition, the significance of this study was to reveal the psychological mechanism of the process in which the quality of service reaches consumer satisfaction.

  • Wireless and mobile communication technologies enable individuals who trade stocks and bonds to use mobile-based trading services. Due to rapidly developing mobile technologies and adoption of the advanced/smart mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets, the use of mobile trading systems (MTS) have increased at an unexpected rate. Although many prior studies measured service quality on various service-related fields, there are few studies that is related to mobile trading systems compared to more traditional PC-based home trading systems. This research searches determinants of service quality for mobile trading systems and examines the effects of these factors on the intention to mobile trading systems' continuous use. Through an extensive literature review, this research finds three dimensions for mobile trading systems : interaction quality, service environment quality, and service outcome quality. The result of analysis shows that personalization, connectivity, ease of use, informativeness, and monetary value enhance the intention to continuous use. Considering environmental conditions such as the high rate of MTS adoption among individual users and stiffer competition among securities firms, these findings may help practically securities firms' shaping MTS system development strategies for individual users' continuous use and for increasing new users adoption.

  • Although wireless devices are the most suitable device for ubiquitous environment, they have restrictive capacities when using internet services than desktop environments. Therefore this research proposes a wireless internet service method that uses contents-based personalization. The existing websites can easily and promptly access desired news articles and other data through RSS-linked web contents and by the personalization method. The proposed method will make using wireless internet easier while lowering contents production costs. Moreover, personalized mobile web news contents that satisfy the preferences of users can be serviced.
