Development achievement criteria of Creativity and Personality in Expressive Activity (체육과 표현활동 영역 창의·인성 성취기준 개발)

  • The purpose of the study was to develop achievement criteria of Creativity and Personality in Expressive Activity. For the study, a Delphi survey was conducted with the selected Delphi experts including doctors of sports pedagogic, physical education teachers and doctors of dance studies who have more than 10-year teaching experience in the expressive activity. In this way, the following study result was obtained. First, 27 elements of creativity in the expressive activity were suggested such as originality, sensitivity, trust, courage, moderation. Second, 54 achievement criteria which were drawn up based on the 27 Creativity and Personality-elements. Achievement criteria of creativity and personality was presented in a modular fashion that could be applied in the creation, representation, appreciation which was composed of main content in expressive activity. By using these modules, physical education teachers could plan a lesson by choosing a various factors of creativity and personality, depending on the intended educational goals.

A Study on Enneagram Personality Types, Ego-Identity, Self-Efficacy and Interpersonal Relations among Adolescents in High School (고등학생의 에니어그램 성격유형, 자아정체감, 자기효능감, 대인관계에 관한 조사)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the Enneagram personality types, ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations among adolescents in high school. Methods: The participants were 322 high school students. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, which were constructed to include demographic-environmental factors, Enneagram personality types, ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and pearson correlation coefficients. Results: In the nine Enneagram personality types, type 9 was highly measured. In the triadic center of Enneagram personality types, gut type was highly measured. In the wing, 9W1 was highly measured and the disruption rather than integration was highly measured. The most development level was level 5. The score of ego-identity was 3.25, the score of self-efficacy was 3.32 and the score of interpersonal ralations was 3.50. The correlation of ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations showed significantly positive correlation with all. Conclusion: There were correlating relationships among ego-identity, self-efficacy, interpersonal relations in high school students. Based on the outcomes of this study, it is necessary to study on the relationship between Enneagram personality types and related variables. Also, We need to develop program that improve ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations according to Enneagram personality types.

  • With the development of the realm of software and its getting the limelight, technical-specialized high schools are trying hard to improve their students' ability in terms of the realm of software in the latest. This study compared and analyzed targeting for students who are learning Java program how much the type of personality of learners influences on the improvement of the resilience. As a result, the learners having introverted personality didn't have a meaningful result on the improvement of the resilience which is necessary for the programming learning. Vice versa, the learners having extroverted personality had a meaningful result on the improvement of the resilience through that personality. Through this research, we can seek after the way for the improvement of learners' resilience which mutually benefits learners having extroverted personality or introverted personality.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of experiential marketing on brand personality in the hotel restaurant. Especially, it verifies the relationship between experiential marketing and brand personality factors in hotel restaurants. Research methods targeting customers with deluxe hotel dining experience draw detailed brand personality factors and hotel restaurant experiences, along with an investigation of relationship between brand personality and strategic experience. As a result, among five factors of sense, emotions, perception, behavior, and relationship, only action and relationship influence competence, good feelings, activity, sophistication among five factors of competence, good feelings, activity, sophistication and strength. Therefore, future research should include the comparison of brand personality dimensions and the development of criteria for brand personality.

  • The aim of this study was to examine the effect of motivation of choosing the teaching profession, teaching personality, grit on flourishing of pre-service early childhood teachers. The study was conducted with 112 pre-service early childhood teachers of a university in City H, Gyeonggi Province. Using multiple regression analysis, the study found that the motivation of choosing the teaching profession, teaching personality, and grit of pre-service early childhood teachers all had significant effects on flourishing. Among these variables, teaching personality had a relatively stronger impact compared to the other two variables. Furthermore, examining the impact of sub-factors of the motivation of choosing the teaching profession, teaching personality, and grit on flourishing revealed that active and passive motives for teaching, general personality, and consistent effort influenced the flourishing of pre-service early childhood teachers. This study provides foundational data for the development of programs aimed at enhancing the flourishing of pre-service early childhood teachers and suggests further research on the design and verification of a program to promote flourishing through the improvement of motivation of choosing the teaching profession, teaching personality, grit of pre-service early childhood teachers.

Developmental Changes of Adolescent's Big Five Personality Factors (Big 5 성격요인에 따른 청소년 성격특성의 발달적 변화)

  • This study examined the developmental changes of adolescent personality regarding personality traits of Big 5 model in 2,260 middle and high school students. We found that there was a difference in the developmental change of personality 5 factor according to sex and grade. In addition, we investigated the timing and characteristics of adolescent problem behavior by analyzing the sub - factors of neurosis. Analysis was used for One-Way ANOVA. if there is significant differences we proceeded post hoc tests. The results of this study are as follows; first, The five personality traits of the adolescents showed differences according to gender. The girls were higher than boys in the Openness, Conscientiousness and Extraversion. In contrast, the boys were higher than girls in the Neuroticism. Second, There was a difference in the characteristics of five personality traits of adolescents according to grade. Third, Gender-specific developmental grade tendency characteristics of adolescent personality trait shows a different pattern in gender. Especially, in the analysis by gender and grade boys showed that personality traits prominent in the middle school Grade 2. likewise, girls showed that personality traits prominent in the high school Grade 3. Then, associated with Neuroticism the Externalizing behavior problems was found to be expressed in the middle school Grade 1 and 2. likewise, the Internalizing behavior problems was found to be expressed in high school Grade 3. Therefore, this study was able to determine the current developmental change in personality traits adolescence of our country. Also it found that mental health problems can be a different expression depending on gender and grade.

Relationships between Children's Personality Traits and Self-Esteem in Terms of Children's Sex (아동의 성별에 따른 성격특성과 자아존중감과의 관계)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify the relationship between children's personality traits and self-esteem, and to find out if there were any differences in the relationship patterns in terms of children's sex. The questionnaire were collected from 984 subjects in 5th grade of elementary schools located in cities of Seoul, Suwon, Daejeon, and Daegu. Results showed that personality factors such as stability, sociability, responsibility, and superiority had stronger correlations with self-esteem factors whereas masculinity, activity level, and reflectivity did so to a less degree. Children's personality factors such as superiority, sociability and responsibility were better predictors of their self-esteem factors such as scholastic competence, social acceptance and general self-worth. Girls showed higher level of stability, sociability, responsibility and superiority, however there was no sex difference in the self-esteem such as scholastic competence, social acceptance and general self-worth. Children's behavioral conduct were mainly explained by masculinity, activity level, and responsibility. Responsibility turned out to be the strongest predictor of behavioral conduct among boys, while the activity level did among girls.

Personality-based Career Attitudes of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 직업인성에 대한 주관성 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the structure and characteristics of nursing college students' personality-based career attitudes. Method: A Q-methodology was used to identify factors in nursing students' personality-based career attitudes. A Q sample was collected from in-depth and objective interviews and literature reviews. A P sample consisted of 27 nursing students. Result: Results revealed three factors: Deliberateness-oriented, Positive-oriented, and Negative-oriented. The 'Deliberateness-oriented' factor was characterized by preference of logical and objective ways in evaluation and trying to seek deep relationships with only a small number of people. The 'Positive-oriented' factor showed creative, autonomous and sociable traits and put value on extensive interpersonal relations. The 'Negative-oriented' factor focused on possibility and enjoyed artistic actions. All 3 factors were negative in NGO or political activities. Conclusion: Based on this result, curriculum development for nursing students should give students a variety of experiences. These findings will be the basic data for finding appropriate positions within the work place for nursing students and help them select appropriate careers for their own personality types.

  • A lot of studies have investigated the role of psychosocial and behavioral risk factors in the etiology and pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease. On the basis of prospective population studies that found a relationship between Type A behavior and cardiac morbidity and mortality independent of traditional risk factors, Type A behavior was declared a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease. Additionally, recently proposed, a new personality construct, Type D personality have been reported to be associated with the increased risk for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. In Korea, however, there were few studies about these issues. This article attempts to provide an overview of accumulating evidences on the Type A behavioral pattern and Type D personality related with cardiovascular disease to offer new directions for research.

Relationships among Personality Preferences, Psychosocial Factors and Dietary Habits of Middle School Students (중학생의 성격유형과 사회심리적 요인 및 식습관과의 관계연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain an understanding of the association of personality preferences and food behavior factors in middle school students. The subjects were 319 boys and girls in a middle school located in Kyunggi province. A self-administered questionnaire was used to assess demographic factors, dietary habits and psychosocial factors including self-efficacy, perceived benefits and barriers. The MMTIC (Murphy-Meisgeier Type Inventory for Children) test was used to assess the personality preferences of the students. Sixty-seven percent of the subjects were extrovert, 53.9% were the sensing type, 76.8% were the feeling type and 81.8% were the perceiving type in personality preferences. The extrovert had higher self-efficacy than the introvert. The feeling type perceived more benefits and fewer barriers than the thinking type. The education levels of the parents, especially mothers, were positively related with self-efficacy and dietary habit scores of the students. The self-efficacy and perceived benefits and barriers were significantly associated with dietary habits of the students (explained variance: 17.9%). Results of this study presented the relationship of character types and parents' education levels on psychosocial food behavior factors and a need for the development of tailored nutrition education program considering these factors.
