A radiation incident took place during treatment on MEDNIF Tele cobalt-60 therapy machine in B.P.KOIRALA MEMORIAL CANCER HOSPITAL in Bharatpur, Nepal. This Chinese made machine has activity of 6240 Curies of cobalt -60. This machine has fulfilled safety requirements. ICRP recommendations, safety rules are followed and practiced. The source was struck up during treatment and a technician was exposed to equivalent dose of 13.75 mSv. recorded by Personal film badge. Risks of workers are comparable to other safe industries. All exposures shall be kept as low as reasonably possible. The higher level of safety is achieved only when every one is dedicated to common goal. A lesson is learnt for future. Good practice is essential but not sufficient. A high demand for tele Cobalt therapy convinced management to replace Mednif machine with a new efficient Elite Tele Cobalt theratron Machine.

An automated process planning system for cold forging of non-axisymmetric parts of comparatively simple shape was developed in this study. Programs for the system have been written with Visual LISP in the AutoCAD using a personal computer and are composed of four main modules such as input module, shape cognition and shape expression module, material diameter determination module and process planning module. The design rules and knowledges for th system are extracted from the plasticity theories. handbook, relevant reference and empirical knowledge of field experts. Generally, in forging, only front view is needed for expression of axisymmetric parts, but non-axisymmetric parts are needed both front view and plane. At the plane, this system cognizes the external shape of non-axisymmetric parts - number of sides of regular polygon and radius of a circle circumscribing the polygon of n sides. At the front view, the system perceives diameter of axisymmetric portions and hight of primitive geometries such as polygon, cylinder, cone, concave, convex, etc.

This paper is a study on implementation of the golf play advice system which provides advice to golfers through mobile devices. The system consists of a mobile unit consisting of a GPS receiver, a data transmitter and receiver, and a display unit, and a server unit composed of a database and advice generator. The advice generator that provides advices to the users, generates advices with IF-THEN rule-based reasoning method. The reasoning module utilizes golfer's personal records and various information in the database of the server unit. This system provides the advice to the users who play on the golf course through mobile devices, so that it is possible to provide various information similar to the screen golf using the computer simulating technology in the outdoor golf course.

IT 산업은 인터넷을 발달시킴으로써 새로운 경제 시대 (New Economic Era)를 열게 하였을 뿐만 아니라 민주주의제도의 발전가능성을 한층 더 앞당기는 계기를 마련하고 있다. 그러나 개인들은 그들의 개인정보가 국가기관이나 민간기관에 자신도 모르는 사이 누출되어 국가기관의 감시체제를 구축하거나 불공정한 상업적 목적으로 쓰일 수 있다는 우려 때문에 온라인상의 구매활동이나 정치활동을 주저하고 있다. 특히 유럽민족은 과거의 역사적인 사건들로 인해 개인정보 유출문제에 매우 민감하게 반응한다. 이러한 이유로 EU는 EU국가들 내에서의 인터넷관련 개인정보처리문제와 EU와 제3국간의 개인정보 이전 문제를 규정하는 지침을 1995년 재정하고 1998년부터 시행하고 있다. 동 지침은 또한 미국과의 정보이전협상인 safe harbor를 탄생시켰다. 본 고에서는 왜 개인정보 보호법이 필요한지 그 이유와 개인정보보호에 대한 국제적인 논의 그리고 EU의 개인정보지침 내용을 연구한다.

This study seeks to find the factors associated with social workers' turnover intention and show us how to manage turnovers by looking for some rules affecting turnover intentions. Our investigation surveying 331 social workers reveals that social workers' turnover intentions are affected by organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and burnout. Our pattern analyses using fuzzy ID3 show that the higher their commitment, the higher their job satisfaction stemming from promotion opportunities, rewards, and personal relations with peers and bosses. In addition, turnover intentions decreases (even if burnouts--the job-related stress--are very serious) when organizational commitment increases. We come to understand that organizational commitment could be a more important variable than job satisfaction and burnouts. Such results suggest that it would be necessary to consider how to improve social workers' organization-wide commitment rather than satisfaction and burnout related to jobs and environments.

In this study, a CAD/CAM system for axisymmetric deep drawing processes has been developed. An approach to the system is based on the knowledge based system. Under the environment of CAD/CAM software of Personal Designer, the system has been written in UPL. The geometries of intermediate and final object in deep drawing process, including processes parameters are input for the CAD/CAM system. The input data can be obtained from the results of Pro_Deep. The parts drawing of die sets for each process is generated in tool design module of the CAD/CAM system. Also. the die assembly drawings can be obtained. NC commands for machining of the part can be generated in the developed CAD/CAM system.

Advertising is persuasion activity, carrying concept to the aimed target through non-personal media. This study concerns on the very concept. Its meaning, their relations and strategic ' position in advertising. This study tried to clarify concept of concepts used as various meanings and set up making-concept method. Accordingly, this study begins with surveys of product concept, advertising concept and creative concept. And then tried to clarify their relations and strategic position in advertising, On the ground of the above achievements, this study set up the effective making-concept rules through TV commercials case study.

This paper deals with an application on the mould machining of air intake hose product by using 3-dimensional parametric modeling techniques. The detailed domain is the 3-dimensional product with similar shapes and different sizes which needs too much working time for preparation of modeling or machining due to making a trial and errors repeatedly. Decision making rules for selection of modeling order and technique, and for calculation of cutting conditions, and for determination of sequence and method concerning machining operations are required by interview of expert engineers in the field. The developed expert system of modeling and machining is programmed by using a user programming language under the CAD/CAM software of the Personal Designer. The developed system that aids a mould engineer who is working in the modeling and machining section which deal with air intake hose product provides strong and useful capabilities.

This paper presents an on-line monitoring and control system designed for the automation of a Concrete plant. The system is based on the combined structure composed of a general purpose PLC (Plogrammable Logic Controller) and a personal computer. Simulation results are ahem to illustrate the system operation. Preconstructed rules are applied to the plant data for the diagnosis of the weighing process in the simulation.

In order to understand China's internet governance, this paper examined 1,931 Internet policies of China by bibliometric techniques. Specifically, the bibliometric techniques include simple document counting, co-word analysis, collaboration network analysis and citation analysis. The findings include: (1) China's Internet legislations mainly emphasized e-commerce and Internet governance, and, to some extent, neglected personal data protection; (2) China's Internet is under intensive multiple regulatory controls by central government. A large number of government agencies are involved in Internet policy-making. The Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Information Leading Group of the State Council, enforced fewer policy documents, but occupy higher positions in the Internet governance hierarchy; (3) China's Internet legislation system is primarily composed of industry-specific administrative rules, rather than laws or administrative regulations. Nevertheless, laws and administrative regulations received significantly more citations owing to their superior force. This paper also discussed current gaps in China's internet governance and how the country's internet policies are situated in the broader global context.
