심리음향 기반 판매 지역 및 개인별 성향을 고려한 차량 경고음의 선호도 연구 (The Preference Study of Vehicle Warning Sound Considering the Sale Region and Personal Preference based on Psychoacoustics)

  • The vehicle's waning sounds are used for the purpose of informing the specific situation to the driver. In the past, the warning sounds were developed in terms of a simple notification. With the increasing importance of the emotional quality of vehicle, the research in terms of sound quality has been actively conducted. The desired sounds are dependent upon customer expectation and usage requirements. And it based on cultural or regional difference and personal preference. In this paper, the preference study considering the sale region and personal preference is introduced. Jury test for subjective evaluation are carried out and the difference in preference is analyzed.

A Status Analysis of Middle School Students' Preference for Science

  • The purpose of this research was to survey middle school students' preference for science and its causal factors, so as to analyze the causal relationships between them. Preference for science and its causal factors were defined theoretically, and a theoretical model was constructed to measure them and analyze the causal relationship by structural equation modeling. According to the theoretical model and a pilot test, a questionnaire was developed with three parts; the background information of a respondent, the preference for science, and the causal factors of preference. The questionnaire was administered to one class per grade of randomly selected 8 middle schools from 4 areas across the country, and 819 students' data were collected. Preference for science was defined as a state of mind. It revealed to what extent, and how, one likes science. It consisted of 3 categories - 'emotional response', 'behavioral volition', 'valuational comprehension', and each category was divided into two subcategories. Causal factors affecting the preference for science consisted of three categories - personal, educational and social factors, and each was divided into 2 or 3 subcategories. Middle school students' preference for science was middling as a total. Curiosity about contents of science and valuation of science were high, comparatively, but behavioral volition about science was especially low. Students' responses to the causal factors were relatively high in every educational factor and sociocultural valuation of social factors, but relatively low in socioeconomic rewards of social factors, and especially low in personal factors. The causal relationship about the preference for science was investigated by multiple regression analysis and path analysis, using the structural equation model. Multiple regression analysis about the preference for science and its causal factors revealed important factors. The important factors were personal ability, the personal traits, rewards in school science, and contents of school science in order of magnitude of standardized regression coefficient ${\beta}$. Stepwise regression analysis with each of the subcategories of the preference for science as dependent variables showed what factors were important in each subcategory. According to the result of structural equation modeling, personal factors affected 'emotional response' and 'behavioral volition' directly, and social factors affected 'valuational comprehension' directly. Educational factors affected all categories of the preference for science by influencing not only 'emotional response' and 'valuational comprehension' directly, but also 'behavioral volition' indirectly. The way to promote middle school students' preference for science was suggested, based on the analysis result.

대학생의 선호색과 자신의 이미지색에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Color Preference and the Personal Color of University Students)

  • Colors are in the inseparable relation ia the all parts of human life. The color influences not only our psychological and physiological aspects, but also our way of behavior. The purpose of this study was to investigate the color preference and the personal color of 100 university students. As results of researching current university students color preference when we compare it with pre-studied results, it shows some differences. In pre-studied, the blue and black marked high degree, but for recent students, it has appeared that warm color is highly preferred. Also warm color has shown as the personal color. There were significant differences in the relation between the blood type and color preference. It appears that the blood type A and B were preferred to cold color while the blood type of B and AB were preferred to warm color.

A Multi-Agent MicroBlog Behavior based User Preference Profile Construction Approach

  • Nowadays, the user-centric application based web 2.0 has replaced the web 1.0. The users gain and provide information by interactive network applications. As a result, traditional approaches that only extract and analyze users' local document operating behavior and network browsing behavior to build the users' preference profile cannot fully reflect their interests. Therefore this paper proposed a preference analysis and indicating approach based on the users' communication information from MicroBlog, such as reading, forwarding and @ behavior, and using the improved PersonalRank method to analyze the importance of a user to other users in the network and based on the users' communication behavior to update the weight of the items in the user preference. Simulation result shows that our proposed method outperforms the ontology model, TREC model, and the category model in terms of 11SPR value.

User Modeling Using User Preference and User Life Pattern Based on Personal Bio Data and SNS Data

  • The purpose of this study was to collect and analyze personal bio data and social network services (SNS) data, derive user preference and user life pattern, and propose intuitive and precise user modeling. This study not only tried to conduct eye tracking experiments using various smart devices to be the ground of the recommendation system considering the attribute of smart devices, but also derived classification preference by analyzing eye tracking data of collected bio data and SNS data. In addition, this study intended to combine and analyze preference of the common classification of the two types of data, derive final preference by each smart device, and based on user life pattern extracted from final preference and collected bio data (amount of activity, sleep), draw the similarity between users using Pearson correlation coefficient. Through derivation of preference considering the attribute of smart devices, it could be found that users would be influenced by smart devices. With user modeling using user behavior pattern, eye tracking, and user preference, this study tried to contribute to the research on the recommendation system that should precisely reflect user tendency.

  • 이 연구는 퍼스널 트레이닝 회원들이 지각하는 관계혜택과 고객만족 및 고객애호도와의 구조적관계를 규명하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 퍼스널 트레이닝 전문센터에서 1개월 이상 이용한 만 20세 이상의 남녀 회원을 모집단으로 선정한 후 편의표본추출법(convenience sampling)을 통해, 최종 227명의 유효 표본을 자료분석에 이용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 15.0과 AMOS 7.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구수행 과정을 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 관계혜택 중 고객화혜택은 고객만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관계혜택 중 심리적혜택, 사회적혜택은 고객애호도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고객만족은 고객애호도에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다.

웹 서비스에서 개인 성향 모듈의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Personal Preference Module on Web Service)

  • 최근 인터넷이 발전함에 따라 월드와이드웹(world wide web) 기반의 서비스 규모는 기하급수적으로 증가하였다. 아울러 웹 서비스의 사용자 수도 함께 증가하였고, 그에 따른 다수의 트랜잭션 처리는 웹 서비스에서 필수적 요소가 되었다. 이러한 다수의 트랜잭션에 대한 효율적인 처리를 위해 웹 서비스에서 사용자 프로파일링에 관한 연구가 진행되었는데, 이들 대부분이 소비자의 성향을 파악하기 위한 것이었다. 그러나 최근 웹 서비스의 경향은 오픈 마켓에서와 같이 소비자 또한 공급자 역할을 수행할 수 있게 됨으로써 소비자 성향뿐만 아니라 공급자의 성향도 고려할 수 있는 새로운 방법이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 공급자의 성향을 고려하는 개인 성향 트리 모델을 제안하고, 이를 활용하는 모듈을 설계 및 구현하였다. 그리고 실험을 통해 제안된 개인 성향 모듈의 활용성을 평가한다.

가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성요인이 주거입지 선호에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Residential Area and Personal Characteristics of Households on the Preference of Residential Location Factors)

  • 본 연구는 수도권, 부산 경남 및 대구 경북 지역에 거주하는 가구를 대상으로, 가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성요인이 주거입지 선호에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째로, 가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성요인이 개별 주거 입지요인의 선호도에 미치는 영향에 대한 다중회귀분석 결과를 통해, 개별 입지요인별로 가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성에 따라 입지요인의 선호도가 차별적으로 나타나고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째로, 주거 입지요인이 가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성에 미치는 영향에 대한 이항로짓분석 결과를 통해, 역시 가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성에 따라 선호하는 입지요인이 차별적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 가구의 거주지역 및 인적 특성과 입지요인은 상호적으로 영향을 미치고 있으며, 각각의 특성에 따라 차별적인 영향을 주고 받는 것으로 판단된다.

Impact of a school-based culinary nutrition education program on vegetable consumption behavior, intention, and personal factors among Korean second-graders

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Veggiecation was developed to improve children's vegetable consumption through classroom lecture and cooking activities. In this study, we explored potential determinants of vegetable consumption behavior and intention, and examined the impact of Veggiecation on vegetable consumption behavior, intention and personal factors among Korean children. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The 4-week Veggiecation program was implemented for second-graders in South Korea (35 children in the intervention group, 36 in the control group). We identified personal and environmental factors influencing vegetable consumption behavior and intention using multiple regression analyses. Consumption behavior, intention and, personal factors such as preference, attitude, and self-efficacy were compared between the groups before and after the intervention. RESULTS: Children's vegetable consumption behavior was significantly correlated with personal, social-, and physical-environmental factors as well as intention. Among the variables, preference was the most influential factor on intention, and attitude and intention had great influence on the behavior. After the program, children in the intervention group demonstrated significant improvements in vegetable consumption, intention, attitude, preference, and self-efficacy compared with children in the control group. CONCLUSION: Veggiecation, a school-based culinary nutrition education program, improved vegetable consumption and intention, as well as preference, attitude, and self-efficacy, in second-graders. Veggiecation has great potential, as a global program, to increase children's vegetable consumption. This program can be expanded through various channels, such as after-school programs or camps, to provide a positive impact for children.

초ㆍ중학생의 과학선호도 실태 비교 분석 (A Comparative Status Analysis of Elementary and Middle School Students Preference for Science)

  • The purpose of this research was to survey and compare the status of science preference of elementary school students with that of middle school students. Preference for science was defined theoretically. According to theoretical model, a questionnaire was developed with piloting and consisted of three parts. First part was for background information, second part, for measurement of science preference and third for measurement of the relevant factors of science preference. The questionnaire was modified for primary school students. In July 2002, the questionnaire was administered to one class per grade of randomly selected 8 elementary and 8 middle schools all over the country and analyzed result of collected 696 elementary school students and 819 middle school students. Middle school students' science preference was low compared with elementary school students, especially in 'emotional response and 'valuational comprehension'. The preference for science became lower especially from 4th to 5th grade and from 8th to 9th grade. The differences of mean science preference were significant by gender. perception of science achievement. and future career choice. The average of science preference relevant factors of middle school students also became lower than elementary students, especially in 'educational factor'. Multiple regression analysis on the science preference showed that important factors were personal ability, the personal traits, rewards in school science and contents of school science, slightly different in elementary and secondary school. The way to promote students' preference for science was suggested on the analysis result.
