Development of an Operation Control System of the Vertical Transferable Korean Personal Rapid Transit (수직이송 서비스가 가능한 한국형 PRT 운행제어시스템 개발)

  • The PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) in material or immaterial guided tracks is operated automatically according to the needs of passengers with the optimal non-stop path from the source to the destination. In recent years, the personal rapid transit (PRT) system, which affords superior accessibility and ease of use, has been spotlighted as a new transport system for the future. In this study, a method for vertical lifting of PRT vehicles was proposed to facilitate interlink with other means of transport and thereby improve the efficiency of door-to-door transport. For this purpose, operation control interfaces were designed and experiments were conducted. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dedicated for the PRT vertical lift was designed to interface with Operation Control Center (OCC) by Modbus TCP over Ethernet. We implemented a 3D graphical PRT operation simulator which can emulate the mixing operation of the virtual vehicles and the actual vehicles.

  • As a result, the interaction between personal motivation and class type is not significant. On the other hand, the interaction between social motivation and class type is significant and overall online class increases engagement with educational issues. In particular, the group with low social motivation showed greater change than the group with high social motivation, so online education seems to be more effective in the group with low social motivation. It means that by stimulating students' social motivation rather than personal motivation, the effectiveness of online education can be enhanced, and it can lead to education outcomes - behavioral changes and attitudes of learners. In order to revitalize social motivation in the intensely personal space of online, it is necessary to activate social communication methods such as SNS, and development of interpersonal issues and learning materials would be more efficient. In order to derive more specific results, it is necessary to measure the level of prior knowledge and involvement of the participants in class, and to comprehensively investigate and analyze the state of learners before and after class through more variables. Finally, in order to increase the reliability of the research results, it is necessary to clearly prove it through the establishment of a structural model.

A Comparative Study on the Food Hygiene Attitude and Personal Hygiene Management of High School Students according to Gender (고등학생의 식품위생태도와 개인위생관리의 성별에 따른 비교연구)

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for the development of education programs on food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene management of high school students according to gender. From July 16 to October 15, 2015, questionnaires were distributed to 30 students per grade at 16 high schools in Chungcheongnam-do, and a total of 1,214 questionnaires(excluding uncollected and insufficient questionnaires) were processed using SPSS(ver 18.0). According to the study, female students more checked the expiration date for food(3.78, 3.57), ate stored food without heating(2.83, 3.02) and stored it according to the characteristics(3.92, 3.72) than male students. On the other hand, male students answered they looked at food packaging more closely(3.34, 3.22), and always used personal plates when they ate(3.43, 3.32), than female students. Female students were always better at hand washing after went to toilet(4.25, 3.94), used individual cups when using water purifiers(3.45, 3.32), kept nails cleaner(3.61, 3.49), and went around(2.14, 2.53) and went to toilet during meals than male students(2.22, 2.57). Boys answered they were better at hand washing before meals(3.64, 3.50), with right way(3.58, 3.46), and covering with a tissue, handkerchief or sleeve when they coughed(3.55, 3.37) than girls. In this study, high school students showed significant differences between gender in food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene management, with different areas requiring improvement. Therefore, this study suggests the need for education on food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene management differentiated according to gender.

A Study on the Food Hygiene Attitude and Personal Hygiene Management of Students by high school type in Chungcheongnam-do (충남지역 고등학교 유형별 학생들의 식품위생 태도와 개인 위생관리에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for the development of education programs on food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene management of high school students by type of school. From July 16 to October 15, 2015, questionnaires were distributed to 30 students per grade at 16 high schools in Chungcheongnam-do, and a total of 1214 questionnaires (excluding unrecurring and insufficient questionnaires) were processed using SPSS (ver 18.0). As a result, academic high school students answered more checking food's shelf life when they bought it in the store(3.79, 3.60), not eating the cooked and heated food after keeping without heating(2.85, 2.98), and storing food in the refrigerator in accordance with its characteristics(3.90, 3.76) than specialized high school students. Academic high school students were found to be more careful than specialized high school students, to wash hands before meals(3.66, 3.52), after went to toilet(4.30, 3.95), in the right way(3.63 and 3.45), and to go around less during meal time(2.19, 2.43) and to go to the toilet less often during meal time(2.28, 2.47). In this study, academic and specialized high school students showed significant differences in food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene management, and academic high school students had significantly better food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene control than specialized high school students. but still need to be improved. Therefore, it is suggested that education on food hygiene attitude and personal hygiene management should be strengthened according to the type of school.

Design of a Personal-Led Health Data Management Framework Based on Distributed Ledger (분산 원장 기반의 개인 주도적 건강 데이터 관리 프레임워크 설계)

  • After the 4th industrial revolution, the healthcare industry is striving to find new business models through new technologies. Among them, blockchain technology is one of the technologies that have great interest in the healthcare industry. Most providers of personal health record systems have difficulty in securing marketability due to various problems. Therefore, they try to integrate blockchain technology to develop new systems and gain marketability. However, blockchain has limitations in solving the problems of the personal health record system. In this study, we have designed a personalized health data management framework that enables information subjects to acquire full ownership rights of individual's health data, based on distributed ledger technology. For the framework design, we refer to the structure of R3 Corda. It was designed with a different network structure than the existing blockchain systems so that the node can be operated on the personal user's mobile device. This allows information subjects to directly store and manage their own data and share data with authorized network members. Through the proposed system, the information utilization of the healthcare industry can be improved and the public health promotion and medical technology development can be realized.

The Effect of Hand Hygiene and on Personal Protective Equipment Removal Education on the Hand hygiene Knowledge and Knowledge of PPE, Attitude, Self-Efficacy in Nursing Students (손위생 및 개인보호구 착탈 교육이 일개대학 간호대학생의 손위생의 지식 및 개인보호구의 지식, 태도, 자기효능감에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was to provide education on hand hygiene and personal protective equipment(PPE) to nursing students and to investigate the effects of knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy. This was a single group, pre-post quasi-experimental design. This study was conducted from October 28 to November 30, 2021 using a structured questionnaire targeting 18 students in the 3rd year of college nursing. Data analyzed by descriptive statistics and paired t-test. As a result of the study, hand hygiene knowledge (t=3.33, p=.004) and PPE knowledge (t= -11.02, p<.001) significantly increased through hand hygiene and PPE education, and attitude toward personal protective equipment (t =-2.76, p=.013) and self-efficacy (t=-3.69, p=.002) all significantly increased. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is considered necessary to develop a systematic and repetitive hand hygiene and personal protective equipment education program, and it will be used as basic data for program development.

Development and Evaluation of Safe Route Service of Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Devices for the Mobility Impaired People (교통약자를 위한 전동 이동 보조기기 안전 경로 서비스의 개발과 평가)

  • This study developed and evaluated a safe route guidance service for electric personal assistive mobility device used mainly by the mobility impaired people to improve their mobility. Thirteen underlying factors affecting the mobility of electric personal assistive mobility device have been derived through a survey with the mobility impaired people and employees in related organizations in Busan Metropolitan City. After assigning safety scores to individual factors and identifying the relevant factors along routes of interest with an object detection AI model, the safe route for electric personal assistive mobility device was provided through an optimal path-finding algorithm. As a result of comparing the general route of T-map and the recommended route of this study for the identical routes, the latter had relatively fewer obstacles and the gentler slope than the former, implicating that the recommended route is safer than the general one. As future works, it is necessary to enhance the function of a route guidance service based on the real-time location of users and to conduct spot investigations to evaluate and verify its social acceptability.

Development of a Prediction Model for Personal Thermal Sensation on Logistic Regression Considering Urban Spatial Factors (도시공간적 요인을 고려한 로지스틱 회귀분석 기반 체감더위 예측 모형 개발)

  • This study analyzed the impact of urban spatial factors on the thermal environment. The personal thermal sensation was set as the unit of thermal environment to analyze its correlation with environmental factors. To collect data on personal thermal sensation, Living Lab was applied, allowing citizens to record their thermal sensation and measure the temperature. Based on the input points of the collected personal thermal sensation, nearby urban spatial elements were collected to build a dataset for statistical analysis. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the impact of each factor on personal thermal sensation. The analysis results indicate that the temperature is influenced by the surrounding spatial environment, showing a negative correlation with building height, greenery rate, and road rate, and a positive correlation with sky view factor. Furthermore, the road rate, sky view factor, and greenery rate, in that order, had a strong impact on perceived heat. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as basic data for assessing the thermal environment to prepare local thermal environment measures in response to climate change.

Impact of Mother's Child-Rearing Stress on the Development of Breastfeeding Infants and Non-Breastfeeding Infants (어머니의 양육스트레스가 모유수유 영아와 비모유수유 영아 발달에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to observe the impact of mothers' child-rearing stress on the development of 3-month-old, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding infants. For this purpose, a survey based on the K-ASQ scale was conducted on a sample of 533 3-month-old infants and their mothers in the Seoul and Kyeong-gi area. The results of the study are as follows. First, breastfeeding mothers felt less child-rearing stress than their non-breastfeeding counterparts, especially in parent-role stress. Second, breastfeeding infants exhibited a better personal sociality than non-breastfeeding infants. Third, it was found that mothers' child-rearing stress had an impact on all aspects of infant development in breastfeeding infants, and especially in the development of communicational skills, having an impact of 12.4%. However, in non-breastfeeding infants, mothers' child-rearing stress had an impact only on communication and personal sociality development and exhibited a nonsignificant impact on other aspects. Lastly, it was found that mothers' parent-role stress, out of all aspects of child-rearing stress, was the main factor of negative impact on infant development in both breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding infants. Based on the results of this study, I have suggested family-level and society-level support measures to reduce mothers' parent-role stress and promote breastfeeding.

A Survey of Pre-service Elementary Teachers' Perceptions, Attitudes and Practical Intention toward Sustainable Development (초등 예비교사들의 지속가능 발전에 대한 인식, 태도 및 실천 의지에 대한 조사 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions and attitudes toward sustainable development. Subjects were 152 university students, who were surveyed by questionnaire. The instrument consisted of totally 41 items which were constructed by 3 components; 'the perception of concept of sustainable development', 'the attitude toward the relationship between economy and environment' and 'the practical intention of personal change for sustainable lifestyle'. The key findings suggest that most students associate strongly the concepts of sustainable development with their environmental as against economic and social aspect. Most of them incline toward eco-centrism but they had complex attitudes concerning the relationship between economy and environment. They have intention to act for sustainable lifestyle such as purchasing habits, recycling, energy water saving, forms of transportation, nature conservation and education. However, they prefer to act passively than actively in a certain aspect of sustainable lifestyle. Understanding of pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions of and attitudes toward sustainable development will be helpful to work out teaching and learning strategies in environmental education.
