A Study on Security Reference Model in Personal Health Lifelog Services (개인 건강 라이프로그 서비스에서 보안 참조 모델에 관한 연구)

  • Life log started with the simple purpose of recording or sharing mainly data regarding one's personal life, but with the introduction of advanced specialized analytic methods by many corporations, a new type of business based on the life log recently emerged, with an aim of improving the quality of people's personal lives. In spite of the indispensable advantages, however, personal health lifelog service brings critical challenges that cannot be avoided from user side if the security of the data is concerned. The problem of user's privacy infringement and leaking user's sensitive medical information is increasing with the revitalization of personal health lifelog services. In this paper, we propose an information security reference model for the personal health lifelog services. Our proposal can contribute to increase the related industry to cultivate new market by suggesting the clear announcement of the guidelines using privacy protection reference model for user-specific healthcare services which uses personal lifelog.

  • Due to the development of the e-commerce, the shopping mall such as auction collects and manages the personal information of the customers for efficient service. However, because of the leakage of the Personal information in auction, the image of the companies as well as the information subjects is damaged. Even though the organizations and the companies store the personal information as common sentences and protect using role based access control technique, the personal information can be leaked easily in case of getting the authority of the database administrator. And also the role based access control technique is not appropriate for protecting the sensitive information of the information subject. In this paper, we encrypted the sensitive information assigned by the information subject and then stored them into the database. We propose the personal policy based access control technique which controls the access to the information strictly according to the personal policy of the information subject. Through the proposed method we complemented the problems that the role based access control has and also we constructed the database safe from the database administrator. Finally, we get the control authority about the information of the information subject.

  • Automatic transmission of data from the blood analyzer to the request site is one of the most important part in hospital computerization. We have developed a system that transmits data from the arterial blood gas analyzer to the request site automatically In this system HOST computer, FILE server,'LAN(Local Area Network) , 3270 Emulator and bfulti-port card are integrated with 3 blood gas analyzers(NOVA Inc., USA) which are connected to a single multi-port card in a personal computer. When specimen are collected from tramp)inly sites, they are transferee to the laboratory In the Yonsei Cardiovascular Center After analysis, the result is transmitted to the personal computer via serial commnunication between machine and multi-port card using interrupt method. Then, the patient's information (Name, Patient ID No., etc.) is obtained from the HOST computer througth the emulator. The combined data (patient information & lab data) is transmitted to each request site via LAN automatically These results are stored in the File Server for one year and they can be reviewed anytime. Also, it could be used for the various statistics and the flow chart for clinical research. Additionally, we found thal this system reduces the personal labor.

  • Computer loads can be found in all of modem society. The switching mode power supplies used in personal computers are major sources of harmonic currents. Harmonic currents can cause lots of harmonic problems such as voltage waveform distortion, excessive neutral currents, errors in measurements, and disruption in computer performance. The purpose of this paper is to give an equivalent circuit modeling methodology for the harmonic currents generated by single-phase personal computer loads and to evaluate a commercially available series resonant filter for the harmonic currents compensation based on the IEEE 519-1992 and IEC1000-3-2 standards for limiting harmonic distortion.

  • Self management of chronic asthma is of great importance, since the disease could lead the patient into an emergent situation. In the present study, we describe design and implementation of a personal digital assistant(PDA) based asthma management system for personal application including symptom and medication to prevent from the potential exac-erbation of the disease. The software program was written by the Visual C++ tool in the mobile computing environment and Object Store was applied for data management. User friendly GUI environment was provided for the patient to input his/her daily condition and self treatment such as medication for suc-cessful management. The input screen design substituted for keyboard input to a mouse in order to easy to select an item and minimize the keyboard input. The implementation results of this system., Real-time data collection and process were possible and be able to have been carried effectively out a continuous symptom, a medication of asthma patients, risk management.

  • Vertex shader of GPU in personal computer is advanced in functions as to be half of traditional fixed T&L functions. And, capacity of memory for saving resources to process instructions is unlimited. GPU that can be programmed by programmer is needed for mobile system as well as personal computer. In this paper, we implement software virtual machine for vertex shader using C++ Language. Our goal is designing hardware GPU that can apply to mobile system. The virtual machine consists of nVidia GPU instructions. Input Data to virtual machine is generated by Microsoft fxc compiler. That is to say, Input Data is compiled shader program written in HLSL, Cg, or ASM. The virtual machine will be a reference model for designing hardware GPU and can be used for Testbed to test added or modified instruction.

  • Some Developments in computer aided procedures for cold forging process and tool design of rotationally symmetric cup shape parts are described. The developed system enables appropriate forging sequence to be determined automatically, together with details of corresponding preform, die and punch design. The computer program developed is interactive and written in BASIC. This system not only assist the heavy work of designers but greatly shorten the time of design.

  • The greenhouse control system is designed by personal computer. This system should observe and control the growth conditions for crops in both plastic film and glass greenhouses. In this contribution puts emphasis on graphical user interface for greenhouse control system by personal computer under the aim of creating safer, more effective and more economical services. This system is developed for the requirements of the intelligent greenhouse control system and gives a lot of convenience for farmer who is not familiar with pc technique. The GUI and control system are programmed by Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

  • A monchromator controller has been built to drive directly by a personal computer. This controller gives better conveniency and accuracy on spectroscopic experiment when a monochromator has deficient driver. This controller consists with simple electronic circuit and control program. The original spectroscopic precision is retained by using stepper motor. The rate changing method is adopted for short slew time. And the scanning is synchronized with spectrum recording device. Because the controller includes electronic counting ciruit, other program can be executed on personal computer during monochromator scanning.

  • The problem of productivity improvement is one of the most challenging problems facing the world economy. This paper studies an analysis of improving personal-computer(PC) company productivity through factory automation. It attempts to analyze value added productivity at the company level. The index measured will effectively help managers supervise their companys. This study justifies that the proposed approach will stimulate manager's profit-motivation by providing them with value-oriented management instead of quantity-oriented method.
