The Change of Hair Physical and Mechanical Properties according to Permanent Wave Treatment Method (퍼머넌트 웨이브 시술방법에 따른 모발의 물리적·역학적 특성 변화)

  • This research is the hair damage as treating a permanent wave before and after that is compared and analyzed the change of physical and mechanical properties. This is the survey of women's hair in 20 years old. On the basis of this we would like to analyze a extend of hair damage. Also, we would to show a basic data for hair damage prevention and hair improvement to keep the beautiful and healthy hair. The conclusion is as follow. : The swelling degree after the treatment was found to be greater than before permanent wave treatment. For the formational characteristics wave, untreated hair certainly had more elastic S curl wave than damaged hair in all the permanent wave treatments, and damaged hair and extremely damaged hair had less elasticity and had saggy S curl wave. The protein permanent and soft permanent wave had thicker, gorgeous, and better elastic wave than the regular permanent wave and direct heating permanent wave in all the hair condition. As the degree of damage on hair got greater, the tensile strength dramatically decreased and as the degree of damage got greater, the elongation was great as well. For treatment method, direct heating permanent wave showed the greatest effect, causing the most damage.

  • The use of steel sheet pile walls as barrier walls have the temporary for coffer dam, retaining wall in excavation, etc., but also permanent of semi-permanent for harbor construction, containment systems, vertical barrier systems for waste disposal (landfill) or subway in excavarion. In all these applicaions the resistance of the structure to seepage plays an important role. Also the stability and longevity of the construction, the possibility of permanent control and survey make the steel sheet pile wall a nearly perfect vertical barrier from a technical and economical point of view.

A Comparative Study of Perception on Management Services Between Management Staffs and Residents of Permanent Rental Housing from the Perspective of Welfare (영구임대주택 관리업무 및 운영실태에 대한 관리자와 입주민의 의식비교)

  • In recent, the concept of management is emphasizing the aspects of social welfare, especially in permanent rental housing that most of the residents are very low income households. Although the quality of service for the residents of permanent rental housing was improved comparatively, it still needs to continually change in response to the needs of residents. To figure out the better way of supporting the service for the residents of permanent rental housing, this study examined the role and function of management office and compared perception on management services between management staffs and residents of permanent rental housing. Based on the in-depth interview with 5 managers of permanent rental housing, two types of survey questionnaire (residents/staffs of management office) were developed for the research purpose. A sample of 89 management office staffs and 111 residents were used for the data analysis. Most of the respondents recognized the need of a cooperation system among management office, social welfare center, and residents for providing better management system and welfare service.

Estimating Design Hour Factor Using Permanent Survey (상시 교통량 자료를 이용한 설계시간계수 추정)

  • This study shows how to estimate the design hour factor when the counting stations don't have all of the hourly volumes such as in a coverage survey. A coverage survey records traffic volume from 1 to 5 times in a year so it lacks the detailed information to calculate the design hour factor. This study used the traffic volumes of permanent surveys to estimate the design hour factor in coverage surveys using correlation and regression analysis. A total 7 independent variables are used : the coefficient of variance of hourly volume, standard deviation of hourly volume, peak hour volume, AADT, heavy traffic volume proprotion, day time traffic volume proportion and D factor. All of variables are plotted on a curve, so it must use non-linear regression to analyze the data. As a result the coefficient of determination and MAE are good at logarith model using AADT.

  • Permanent rental housing complex is subjected to both an increase in the crime rate due to its residential population structure and social, economic isolation for insecurd income of the residents. It should be considered that the densely populated area with low-income group of the city causing many problems related with the community. This study focused on the Man-soo 7 housing estate in Incheon with the area's average scale and ratio is made as an effort to include the residents who live in the permanent rental housing area among the members of the healthy community. The result of the research suggests the method of housing improvement to establish the successful support institution for self-sufficiency of the low income inhabitants analazying the demand of the residents through a survey categorized into resident support system, public workplace and inhabitant participation.

  • This purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for preventing dental caries, and maintaining and enhancing Oral health education. The subject of this study through the survey of the recognition of Oral health education, a questionnaire survey and dental experience and Pit and fissure sealant status was conducted for 334 male and female students who were in the 4th, 5th, 6th grade of elementary school in Ulsan city. Statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 11.5 with t-test, ANOVA and correlation. The obtained results were as follows 1. Experience caries on permanent teeth was male score of 58.0% and female score of 42.0% and an everage score of 52.7% very low. 2. The students who were in the 4th, 5th, 6th grade of elementary school Experience caries on permanent teeth is grad higher(p=0.000). Pit and fissure sealant of teeth number and teeth surface status by grad higher(pE0.016, p=0.000). 3. Oral health knowledge and behavior is significantly related to status(p=0.001), behavior and Daily tooth brushing frequency was significantly related to status(p=0.000). But experience caries on permanent teeth and Oral health knowledge and behavior beween wasn't significantly related to status.

Issues and Perception on Management Fee and Rental Payment Overdue of Permanent Rental Housing Residents (영구임대주택 입주자의 관리비 및 임대료 체납 실태와 의식)

  • Permanent rental housing, the construction of which was strongly financed by the central government, is regarded as a social housing for those who fall within the lowest income bracket. Differing from "public rental housing", offered to tenants for sale after a five year rental period, this type of housing is intended for rental use on a long-tenn basis. At present, about 190,000 permanent rental housing units exist in Korea. According to a statistics, 15.6% of its residents did not pay their management fee and rental payment in 4 or more months in 2005, which places stress on the housing management. Based on the "eviction condition" stipulated in the tenancy agreement for permanent rental housing, a householder owning assets or a vehicle which is not used as his means of living, who is overdue with his management fee and rental payment for a long time, may be evicted from the house. However, there are many conflicts and problems between administrators/housing managers and residents in the process of enforcing this regulation. The purpose of this study is to explore the key issues associated with the present situation and the reasons why so many management fee and rental payment for permanent rental housing are overdue. For the purpose of research, data were collected from 10,990 permanent rental housing residents nationwide via a questionnaire survey in February 2007. One third of the respondents had an experience of more than 2 months overdue since they have moved in current residence. For further analysis, the respondents were divided into three groups, based on their working ability. The major finding showed that the group of respondents who have working ability required a more practical plan, such as employment, to have a sustainable life, while the other group of no labor force indicated a need for more housing allowance from the government. To suggest more specific alternatives for the subject of housing payment overdue, further comparison study should be performed between the residents of permanent rental housing and other low income tenants in private housing sector.

The effect of oral health behavior of the visually impaired on DMFT index (시각장애인의 구강보건행태가 DMFT지수에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: This study aimed at helping oral health prevention of the blind and related management plan, which is defined as the influence factors between missing and filled permanent teeth index and general feature and oral health behavior of the blind in Korea (estimates 229,678 persons) using data of the 6th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 2014 Korea Centers For Disease Control and Prevention. Methods: The blind over the age of 30 were selected as study subjects who have conducted health survey and dental inspections in KNHANES VI-2. Estimates of the subjects were 229,67 persons. For analyzing data, general linear models: GLM and covariance analysis were conducted to identify the relation between general feature and oral health behavior and missing and filled permanent teeth index. SPSS 21 statistical program was used, which is possible to conduct complex sampling design, and the significance level was 0.05. Results: The missing and filled permanent teeth index was 8.58 points. Regarding the results of the analysis, R-squared of the missing and filled permanent teeth index depending on general features of the blind was 0.839 points, which shows gender, age, residence, education level, individual income, disability rating, kinds of health insurance, marital status and recipient of basic living had an effect on the missing and filled permanent teeth index. R2 of the missing and filled permanent teeth index depending on oral health form of the blind was 0.728 points, which shows oral examination, dental treatment, smoking and toothbrushing after lunch had an effect on the missing and filled permanent teeth index. Conclusions: With the result of this study, we found the oral health actual condition of the blind in Korea. Therefore, it is considered that the government needs to introduce the personalized oral health education program to maintain oral health of the blind and to develop a program that uses braille and voice device which enables to access and utilize to improve oral health behavior that the government could use it as a reference to establish the policy plan.

A Convergence Study on the Effects of Obesity and Diet on Dental caries: Use of data from the National Health and Nutrition Survey 2008, 2018 (비만 및 다이어트가 치아우식에 미치는 영향에 관한 융복합 연구: 국민건강영양조사 2008, 2018자료)

  • The aim of this study is to identify the relationship between obesity and dieting to dental care in a convergent manner. This is a secondary analysis study using data from National Health and Nutrition Survey(2008 & 2018), and the subjects of the study are those with permanent treatment experience. The data in this study were t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis using SPSS /WIN 24.0. As a result of the study, The experience of permanent tooth caries according to gender was high in woman(M=.76, W=.83), and the experience of permanent tooth caries according to the educational level showed that the caries experience of high-educated level(College or higher=.92). In the difference according to the subjective body type recognition, it was confirmed that obesity was associated with the experience of permanent tooth caries. Among the weight control methods, fasting was the most influential on the permanent tooth caries experience. The experience of permanent tooth caries according to the weight change was found to have an effect on both weight loss and increase, In future studies, not only studies of sugar intake related to obesity, but also proper oral health education study that informs about the risk of dental caries in the diet that is progressing in line with the current trend should be continued.
