  • In this paper, a simulator for radar performance evaluation in a far-field test range is proposed, which can forecast maximum detection range, minimum detection range, number of test trials, resolution (range, azimuth, elevation) with input parameters before radar performance test and process results after. The proposed simulator is designed by Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) of VC++ 6.0.

  • 안전밸브는 높은 압력을 사용하고 있는 공장들의 안전을 확보하기 위한 최후의 수단이다. 안전밸브의 고장은 대형사고로 이어지므로, 주기적으로 작동성능을 점검하도록 법으로 정해져 있다. 현재 안전밸브의 작동성능을 확인하기 위해서 직접검사방법을 이용하고 있으나 이는 검사 사각지대의 유무, 비용 및 효율적인 손실 등으로 인해 운전 중 검사 방법의 개발이 요구 되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 안전밸브 성능검사 결과자료를 분석하여 국가 산업단지의 불안전한 안전밸브 상태를 살펴봄으로써 현재 운용 중인 직접검사법만으로는 안전성의 확보에 한계가 있음을 확인했다. 이에 따라 직접검사법의 한계를 극복하기 위하여 운전 중 검사법 도입의 필요성을 검토하고, 필수 기반 시설에의 적용을 의무화 하는 등 공정 운전 중에도 안전밸브의 검사가 가능한 방법의 개발과 관련 제도의 변화가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

PV모듈의 I-V특성 시험을 위한 Solar Simulator의 측정불확도 요인 분석 (Analysis of Solar Simulator's Uncertainty Factor for Photovoltaic Module's I-V curve test)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the elements of measurement uncertainty on electrical performance test which are the most important things in photovoltaic module performance test. Repeating the performance test by 6 men, the measurement uncertainty could be calculated. In this experiment, Solar Simulator (A-Class pulse type) used for domestic certificate test of PV module is Pasan IIIb (Balval, Switzerland). The possible elements of the measurement uncertain that could effect electrical performance test of PV module are reference cell, spectrum correction, error from measurement repetition, test condition, stability and uniformity of artificial solar simulator. To find the measurement uncertainty, 6 men repeated the test by 10 times. And the results were that numerical average value was 124.44W and measurement uncertainty was $124.44W{\pm}0.75W$ with 95% confidence level for 125W PV module.

가스터빈엔진 천이 성능 시험에 의한 정상상태 성능 예측 (Prediction of Gas Turbine Engine Steady Performance from Transient Performance Test)

  • 항공기용 가스터빈엔진에 대한 경제적인 시험 기법 개발을 위해 천이상태 성능 시험 결과로부터 정상상태 성능을 예측할 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 천이상태 성능과 정상상태 성능이 상이한 원인을 동역학적 천이 효과, 열적 천이 효과, 공기역학적 천이 효과로 구분하고, 각각을 모델링해서 엔진의 천이상태 성능을 통해 정상상태 성능을 계산하는 보정 인자를 정량화 하였다. 엔진 성능시험은 한국항공우주연구원이 보유한 고공환경시험설비에서 이루어졌다. 먼저 천이상태 성능시험 시 나타나는 엔진 입 출구의 온도 변화가 엔진 성능에 미치는 영향을 보정했으며, 그 후 도입된 보정 인자를 사용해 정상상태 성능을 예측하였다. 이렇게 예측된 결과와 실제 정상상태 성능시험 결과를 비교한 결과, 연료 소모량의 차이 3.68% 이내로 정상상태 성능을 예측할 수 있어, 본 연구에서 사용한 보정 기법이 상당한 정도의 정확도를 보장하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

수학과 수행평가에 관한 이해의 혼돈 -최근 국내 논문 분석을 중심으로- (A Chaos of Understanding on Performance Assessment in Mathematics Education)

  • From the mid-1990s in Korea, performance assessment has been continuously emphasized in school mathematics and thus many researchers and teachers have been steadily studying this topic. But the concepts relevant to performance assessment and its purposes are very confusing because the mathematics educators' different views and voices are vary. As a result most mathematics teachers experience trouble in executing performance assessment properly and effectively in their math class. This unability for proper execution of performance assessment was once again revealed in this study which dealt with 15 articles on performance assessment. These 15 articles includes almost every article written on the topic of performance assessment that have been published in 4 domestic journals since December 1997. By examining this inability, it is required that its concepts and purposes should be organized with a common view and newly defined in the near future.   • In this study, we conducted resistance and propulsion performance test of ship composed of the Resistance Test, Propeller Open Water Test and Self Propulsion Test using the CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics). We used commercial RANS(Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes equation) solver, as a calculating tool. The unstructured grids were used in a bow and stern of ship, having complex shape, for a convenience of generating grids, and the structured grids were adopted in a central hull and rest of hull having a relatively simple shape which is called hybrid grid method. In addition, The sliding mesh method was adopted to rotate a propeller directly in the Propeller Open Water and Self Propulsion Test. The Resistance Test and Self Propulsion Test were calculated using Volume of Fluid (VOF) model and considering a free surface. And all The three cases were applied realizable k-epsilon model as the turbulence model. The results of calculations were verified for the suitability of calculations by comparing MOERI's EFD results.

  • This study proposes a new topology for the performance test of a valve consisting of a modular multilevel converter (MMC)-based static synchronous compensator (STATCOM). The conventional valve performance test equipment requires high-voltage AC source of several kV rating because the number of submodules to be tested in a valve should be at least six or eight. However, the power source of the proposed scheme is DC and not AC source. The DC power source voltage range of the proposed test circuit is from several volts to several tens of volts. Therefore, the size and cost for the performance test equipment can be reduced considerably compared with the conventional method. The proposed scheme satisfies the requirements of the IEC 62927 standard. Simulations are conducted for a valve of 50[MVA] MMC-based STATCOM. Experimental results with a scale-downed setup show the validity of the proposed performance test topology.

Effects of Dual Task Training on Balance and Functional Performance in High School Soccer Players with Functional Ankle Instability

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of dual task training on balance and functional performance in high school soccer players with functional ankle instability. Methods: Twenty high school soccer players with functional ankle instability were randomly assigned to a single task training group and a dual task training group. One participant who did not participate regularly in the training was excluded. The single task training group (n=9) received balance training on an unstable surface. The dual task training group (n=10) received balance training on an unstable surface and had to catch thrown balls during the balance training. Both groups were trained for 4 weeks, 3 days a week. The balance and functional performance of both groups was measured before and after training. Balance was measured using an anterior-posterior and medio-lateral balance. Functional performance was measured based on a figure-of-8 hop test, up-down hop test, and a single hop test. All data were analyzed by repeated two-way ANOVA tests. Results: A time by group interaction effect was not observed in the medio-lateral balance test, figure-of-8 hop test, or single hop test (p>0.05). A time by group interaction effect was observed in the anterior-posterior balance and up-down hop test (p<0.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that dual task training improved balance and functional performance better than single task training for some items.

고온 고압 공기가열기 성능시험 (Performance Test of Vitiated Air Heater with High Temperature and High Pressure)

  • 본 연구는 설계된 고온 고압 연소식 공기가열기의 성능을 확인하기 위한 성능시험과 그 결과분석에 대한 것이다. 총 4가지의 시험조건에 대한 시험과 3가지 조건에 대한 레이크 측정 시험이 수행되었다. 성능시험결과 목표 온도와 공급 유량조건을 모두 만족하였으며, 최대 공급온도 2000 K, 최대 연소압력 40 bar의 조건을 만족하였다. 공급된 메탄의 유량은 이론값보다 최대 36% 증가하였으며, 측정된 온도는 이론적으로 계산된 온도보다 최대 19.6%의 차이를 보였다.
