This paper empirically analyzes the relationship among the perception variables on the EU and Korea-EU FTA. According to the empirical results, first of all, while Korean university students understand the importance of EU less than those in the US or Japan, they understand the importance of EU more those in China. The understanding and importance of Korea-EU FTA are measured somewhat lower than Korea-US FTA. Second, Contingency Tables show that there exist some associated relationships between the sex and the understanding of the regions, and Korean university students have some differences in understanding the importance of the EU by sex. ANOVA shows that the more they understand the EU and recognize the importance of Korea-EU FTA, they recognize that the Korea-EU FTA's contribution to Korean economy and EU's & EURO's contribution to world economy will be bigger. Third, the cannonical correlation test shows that by the academic grade and sex there are some significant differences in understanding the importance of the EU and main countries and regions. The discriminant analysis shows that there exist some differences in recognizing the contribution of Korea-EU FTA's to Korean economy.

In a few studies about product involvement there was confusion in the construct of involvement especially in association with importance. Due to the confusion of the construct unanticipated and inconsistent results were reported in some cases. So this study was mainly to identify the relationship between clothing importance and clothing involvement and also investigated the casual relationships among consumers n, value, clothing importance, clothing involvement fashion opinion leadership, and shopping behavior. The data were collected from 429 female adults using questionnaire, and were analysed with actor and path analysis. Results can be summarized as follows. First, clothing importance was the separate concept from clothing involvement, though they were closely related. Second. it was revealed that the main casual path was valuerlongrightarrowclothing importancelongrightarrowclothing involvementlongrightarrowfashion opinion leadership, shopping preference, shopping frequency, and shopping time. On the whole, the affective dimension of clothing involvement mainly affected them, and consumer's age negatively affected fashion opinion leadership and shopping behavior.
The purpose of this study was to measure the factors influencing on the perception of helpfulness of marking the country of origin in predicting the quality and safety of pork. A total of 239 questionnaires were completed. A multinomial logit model is specified in order to estimate which factors influence the probability that a consumer perceives the country of origin as helpful in assessing food quality and food safety. The estimations were carried out using the logistic procedure of SAS. The results are as follows. The proportional odds assumptions of models were not violated at p<0.05. The effects of age, income, children, occupation and respondents informed on the importance of the country of origin in pork quality model were statistically significant. The effects of age, children, occupation and trust on the importance of the country of origin in pork safety model were statistically significant. The results from this study could be useful in developing marketing and health promotion strategies as well as government trade policies.
A study was undertaken to elucidate the clinical dietetic performance level and to identify the difference between the actual role performance and perception of important level of the clinical dietitian. The survey was carried out for the 21 general hospital over 100 beds in Seoul, Pusan and Daegu area. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. 1. One dietitian was responsible for the feeding and clinical dietetic activity of 166 in-patients on the average. 2. In the perception of importance level of clinical dietetic practices, more than 75% of the dietitians indicated that 23 of the 26 tasks were important practices. 4. The performance average score of nutrition assessment was 15.85, of nutrition care plan development was 19.72, of patient counseling was 12.22, of research activity was 19.62, and of education was 21.27 in the dietetic department was a division for the clinical dietetic activity, while 10.96, 15.24, 9.54, 15.97, 18.50 respectively in the dietetic department has not a division for it.
The aim of this study is to find out the way the future curriculum of clothing and textile studies should be composed. For this purpose, this study examines the perception of students as consumer of university teaching. For students, who are studying in the department of clothing and textiles, have academic and practical interest in this area. But they also anticipate the demand of clothing and textile market in the future in which they will work. The sample of survey research was 607 students of 20 universities. First, this study asked the students what are important areas of study at present. Majority of student answered that clothing construction and fashion design are the most important ares of clothing and textile studies. This perception of the students seems to reflect the fact that most university departments have placed importance on such subjects. Secondly, students think that fashion marketing and fashion have placed importance on such subjects . Secondly , students think that fashion marketing and fashion design should be emphasised in the future. This finding is consistent with the current trend in the fashion industry which has gone beyond simple clothing construction to fashion design and marketing which yield higher profit than clothing construction. Although there are many other factors which should be considered in the composition of future curriculum, this study shows that fashion marketing and design should be at the core of university teaching in department of clothing and textile studies.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs is currently pushing forward policies targeting the Rural Convergence Industry initiative to incubate the front-runners of the '6th industry', to increase off-farm income, to create rural jobs for elderly, and to create women-based farms. As a result, in 2017, a total of 11,604 Rural Convergence Industries were in business, and the goods produced from those industries were diverse. However, the quality and safety of those products are not being checked and managed thoroughly, which has caused consumers to not trust products made from the Rural Convergence Industries. Through a survey and the ordering logit model, this study analyzed consumer perception of the safety and quality of goods from the Rural Convergence Industries. The analysis revealed that we must first raise awareness of the importance of rural agriculture areas and the products of the Rural Convergence Industries to uplift consumer perceptions regarding the products produced by the industries. The analysis also revealed that diverse points of distribution (sellers), education on the importance of rural and urban areas, and marketing Rural Convergence Industry products within suburban consumer populations are necessary to increase the consumption of these products.
The way to respond to climate change is divided into mitigation and adaptation. So far, the response of climate change has been focused on mitigation. The perception of response of climate change also has been focused on mitigation. However, climate change mitigation and adaptation should be highlighted in a comparable concept as a response to climate change. On the other hand, perception of the public on climate change affects the support or opposition of the general public about climate change-related policies. The purpose of this study is to assess awareness of the general public and stakeholders on the subject of climate change adaptation and to present a basis for a future national climate change adaptation policy. Questionnaire on awareness of climate change adaptation were composed of the climate change and climate change response (mitigation, adaptation) understanding and importance, the seriousness of climate change-related adverse climate event, the need for climate change adaptation measures, the degree of implementation, and the level of government effort for climate change response. Climate change adaptation-related awareness survey was conducted for the general public 1,011 people and stakeholders 101 people by telephone interviews. In this study, the perception survey has a difference in aspect of the contents and methodology. And We were able to present the three characteristics of the general public and stakeholders aware of the subject of climate change adaptation. First, the relative importance of climate change adaptation was relatively low. Second level of awareness about climate change response of the public was significantly lower than the stakeholders. Finally, the need to prepare the implementation of the sectoral level, the first adaptation measures was relatively low.
This study examines farmers' knowledge and perception on the functions and values of wetland and their attitudes on government wetland policies in the state of Illinois in the United States. No significant differences were found in the knowledge of the functions and values of wetland between farmers and non-farmers, although farmers tend to value the importance of wetland less than non-farmers. However, farmers are negative on the importance of protecting wetland and replacing damaged or destroyed wetlands as well as stricter government wetland policies. It suggests that noticeable discrepancy exists between farmers' knowledge of wetland and their practice to protect wetland.
This study aims to deduce operational implication of R-WeSET program through women students in science & engineering and companies's perception and assessment on the basis of NCS key competency. The significant results are as follows. Firstly, companies and women students in science & engineering share a similar perception on importance of NCS key competencies. The programs should be reviewed and improved for women students who are truly aware of companies' needs. Secondly, the main areas of NCS key competency that are poor in companies' perception are 'positive thinking & drive', 'creativity & challenge spirit', 'communication skills' and 'problem-solving skills'. To enhance these weak skills, activating the actual programs such as "Convergence Design Camp", "Field Adaptability Improvement" and developing the new communication program are required. Lastly, most of women students have attained the satisfying result from "Field Competency Reinforcement Program". Especially, "Industry Field Training" shared the great progresses on all skills of key competency, hence why the progressive model should be developed in the future. This study figures out who's the right person for the 4th Industrial Revolution era, producing a meaningful result in order to change in the higher education system of women students and to grow human resources who will contribute to the community and company.

This study is conducted to examine how purchase behaviors of consumers have affected by the promotion of coupons in internet shopping mall. This study was conducted with the purpose of identifying the differences In purchase behavior based on consumer's perception and experience of internet shopping mall coupons, and based on consumers' perception of cost and value of coupons, using a theoretic framework presented in previously conducted studies. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, based on the perception of coupons, there were significant differences in intent to use and intent to re-use at the time when coupons are offered, and at the time when coupons are offered, no significant differences were found between the level of interest and the importance of coupon at the time of visiting the shopping mall; however, significant differences were found in the overall purchase behavior based on perception of coupons. Second, when overall differences In purchase behavior based on experience in coupon use was observed, having experience in using coupons showed a higher average than did having no experience in using coupons, showing a significant difference. It was found that compared to those without experience in using coupons, those with experience with coupons had higher intent to use at the time when coupon is offered, intent to re-use at the time when coupon is offered, and higher level of purchase behavior In the importance of coupons at the time of visiting the shopping mall. Third, when relationship between purchase behaviors, cost of coupon, and perception of convenience was observed, a clear static relationship was found. This suggests that as the cost and perception of convenience of coupon increases, purchase behavior also increases. Such result suggests that there is a difference in purchase behavior based on experience in coupon use. When relationship of purchase behavior by variables of cost of coupon and perception of convenience is observed, it has a positive relationship with the perception that the use of coupon includes saving money, financial help, enjoyment of use, habitual use, has a short effective date, and has a negative relationship with the perception that it saves little money and is a waste of time. Therefore, it can be seen that purchase behavior has the highest relationship with enjoyment of coupon use and habitual coupon use. Such results suggest that purchase behavior will be significantly influenced based on cost of coupon and perception of convenience.
