대중 집단지성의 사용자 수용 모형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the User Acceptance Model of Mass Collective Intelligence)

  • As web technologies evolve and so-called Web 2.0 technologies appear, collective intelligence is being applied in widespread areas. In general, mass collective intelligence like Wikipedia is created, revised, and managed by anonymous participants in an uncontrolled system. Thus, the knowledge provided by mass collective intelligence may be distorted, and may not be true, which may affect the user acceptance behavior. However, there have been few academic studies that analyzed the factors that affect user acceptance of mass collective intelligence, and their relationships. Under this academic background, we develop a model to examine how mass collective intelligence is accepted by users. The theoretical model is validated through an online survey of the Wikipedia users from three universities in Korea. The results reveal that the users will have positive attitude towards adopting mass collective knowledge when they perceive that the knowledge from mass collective intelligence is useful. We also find that the perceived usefulness of the knowledge is affected by perceived knowledge quality and trust in knowledge contributors. The results also suggest that perceived knowledge quality is determined by perceived level of collaboration, perceived objectivity, and recipient expertise, whereas trust in knowledge contributors is determined by natural propensity to trust and perceived objectivity. Theoretical and practical implications about mass collective knowledge are discussed.

  • This study discusses salespersons' emotional intelligence, one of the key abilities necessary to meet customers' needs effectively, and express positive emotions in frequent interactions with customer. Emotional intelligence refers to self-controllability and social ability emphasizing pro-social aspect and understanding of others. This study investigates how salespersons' emotional intelligence affects adaptive selling and positive emotional expression during the process of interaction with customers, and how such adaptive selling and positive emotional expression affects the quality of service perceived by customers. The results show that greater salespersons' emotional intelligence results in better adaptive selling and positive emotional expression. Such adaptive selling and positive emotional expression had significant effects on the quality of service perceived by customers. These results are important in that they address emotional intelligence as salespersons' emotional ability, which has been overlooked as an antecedent variable for improving adaptive selling and display of positive emotion, consequently provide another factor to help salespersons improve their selling behavior.

간호대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도가 감성지능, 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Perceived Parenting Attitude on Emotional Intelligence and Problem-solving Ability of Nursing Stuents)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도, 감성지능, 문제해결능력의 변수 간 관계를 파악하고 간호대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도가 감성지능, 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위한 서술연구이다. 연구대상자는 C도 J대학교에 재학 중인 간호대학생을 대상으로 2021년 11월 29일~12월 13일까지 총 2주 동안 총 134부를 회수하여 그 중 126부의 자료를 SPSS/WIN 22.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 부모의 양육 태도 중 애정적 양육태도가 감성지능(𝛽=.349, p=.001), 문제해결능력(𝛽=.255, p=.018)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 각각 25.1%, 22.3%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서 부모를 대상으로 교육할 때 부모의 양육태도 중 애정적 양육태도가 미래 간호사인 자녀의 감성지능과 문제해결능력을 향상시키는데 중요한 요소임을 알리고 바람직한 부모 역할 수행을 위한 부모교육의 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있겠다.

Multi-dimensional Emotional Intelligence Effects on Intrinsic/Extrinsic Motivation and Job Satisfaction: Analysis Using Laborer Perceived Organizational Support

  • Purpose - Based on previous studies, this study extends current research and investigates whether the sub-factors of emotional intelligence increase job satisfaction or employee intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and perceived organizational support. Research design, data, and methodology - This study categorizes service employees' (consultants) emotional intelligence into four sub-factors: regulation of emotion, appraisal of emotion, utilization of emotion, and expression of emotion. The study then investigates the sub-factor effects on job satisfaction. A total of 353 valid questionnaires were collected. Results - The results of the path analysis showed that appraisal, utilization, and expression of emotion had a positive effect on intrinsic motivation, and utilization of emotion had a positive effect on extrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation had a positive effect on perceived organizational support and job satisfaction, and perceived organizational support had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Conclusion - As consultants' utilization of emotion is rendered as the ability to use emotion to improve performance, the conclusion is that such factors as monetary performance incentives are important in order to boost job satisfaction of the consultants.

  • 본 연구는 기술수용모델을 기반으로 예비교사의 자기효능감과 AI 불안이 수학 수업에서 '똑똑! 수학 탐험대'를 사용하려는 의도에 미치는 영향을 구조적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 254명의 예비교사들의 자기효능감, AI 불안, 인지된 사용 용이성, 인지된 유용성, 사용 의도를 변인으로 연구모형을 설정하고 구조방정식으로 변인 간의 구조적 관계와 직·간접효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 자기효능감은 인지된 사용 용이성, 인지된 유용성, 사용 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, AI 불안은 인지된 사용 용이성과 인지된 유용성에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 인지된 사용 용이성은 인지된 유용성과 사용 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 인지된 유용성은 사용 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 통해 수학수업에서 예비교사가 '똑똑! 수학 탐험대' 사용을 촉진하기 위한 시사점과 방안을 제안하였다.

Evaluating the Current State of ChatGPT and Its Disruptive Potential: An Empirical Study of Korean Users

  • This study investigates the perception and adoption of ChatGPT (a large language model (LLM)-based chatbot created by OpenAI) among Korean users and assesses its potential as the next disruptive innovation. Drawing on previous literature, the study proposes perceived intelligence and perceived anthropomorphism as key differentiating factors of ChatGPT from earlier AI-based chatbots. Four individual motives (i.e., perceived usefulness, ease of use, enjoyment, and trust) and two societal motives (social influence and AI anxiety) were identified as antecedents of ChatGPT acceptance. A survey was conducted within two Korean online communities related to artificial intelligence, the findings of which confirm that ChatGPT is being used for both utilitarian and hedonic purposes, and that perceived usefulness and enjoyment positively impact the behavioral intention to adopt the chatbot. However, unlike prior expectations, perceived ease-of-use was not shown to exert significant influence on behavioral intention. Moreover, trust was not found to be a significant influencer to behavioral intention, and while social influence played a substantial role in adoption intention and perceived usefulness, AI anxiety did not show a significant effect. The study confirmed that perceived intelligence and perceived anthropomorphism are constructs that influence the individual factors that influence behavioral intention to adopt and highlights the need for future research to deconstruct and explore the factors that make ChatGPT "enjoyable" and "easy to use" and to better understand its potential as a disruptive technology. Service developers and LLM providers are advised to design user-centric applications, focus on user-friendliness, acknowledge that building trust takes time, and recognize the role of social influence in adoption.

Elementary school students' awareness of the use of artificial intelligence chatbots in violence prevention education in South Korea: a descriptive study

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify students' awareness of the use of a chatbot (A-uC), a type of artificial intelligence technology, for violence prevention among elementary school students. Methods: The participants comprised 215 students in the fourth to sixth grades in Chuncheon, South Korea, and data were collected via a self-reported questionnaire. Results: The mean A-uC score was 3.43±0.83 out of 5 points. The mean scores for the 4 sub-dimensions of the A-uC tool were 3.48±0.80 for perceived value, 3.44±0.98 for perceived usefulness, 3.63±0.92 for perceived ease of use, and 3.15±1.07 for intention to use. Significant differences were observed in A-uC scores (F=59.26, p<.001) according to the need for the use of chatbots in violence prevention education. The relationships between intention to use and the other A-uC sub-dimensions showed significant correlations with perceived value (r=.85, p<.001), perceived usefulness (r=.76, p<.001), and perceived ease of use (r=.64, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that chatbots can be used in violence prevention education for elementary school students.

Effects of Individual Difference on Organizational Difference: Perceived Training Effectiveness Model for Organizational Performance

  • Our study is trying to investigate the perceived training effectiveness by applying the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) and intend to examine the effects of individual differences on perceived training effectiveness and performance of individuals. The main purpose is to evaluate the perceived training effectiveness, and role of individual differences in terms of learning. The results of this study supported all the hypothesis that participants with higher level of creative self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, creativity and emotional intelligence (EI) will have greater inclinations to learn. Results showed that perceive training effectiveness is positively related to training transfer and training transfer increase the performance of individuals. Study results significantly agree with the theory of planned behavior (TPB) which was applied to measure the perceived training effectiveness and suggest trainee's perception of usefulness, ease and benefits enhance learning dimensions of participants that make any program effective. The study has highlighted a number of issues that influence the perceived training effectiveness.

인공지능에 대한 초등학생들의 이미지 탐색 (Exploring Elementary School Students' Image of Artificial Intelligence)

  • The current study explores students' views about artificial intelligence (AI) through analyses of their drawings and perceptions. The data were gathered from a total of 177 elementary school students. The constant comparative analysis was used as the data analysis method. Based on the result, the current study found that students' views about artificial intelligence were constructed into two distinct dimensions: form and relationship. The form dimension, students' views about artificial intelligence were categorized into human, household goods, machine, smart computer, electronic chip/algorithm, or the hybridized form related to the game of go such as AlphaGo. On the relationship dimension, students' views about artificial intelligence were categorized into servants, friends or enemy. Given the combination of two dimensions, the current study found two noted patterns. The first, students who viewed artificial intelligence as human form perceived artificial intelligence as a friend or an enemy. However, those who viewed artificial intelligence as non-human form perceived artificial intelligence as a servant or an enemy. Based on these results, educational implications related to the preparation of artificial intelligence era for elementary science education are discussed.

지체장애인의 인공지능 스피커 사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Use Artificial Intelligence Speakers of the People with Physical Disability)

  • 본 연구는 지체장애인을 대상으로 인공지능 스피커에 대한 인지적 요소와 감정적 요소가 인공지능 스피커 사용 의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법은 지체장애인을 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 인공지능 스피커에 대한 인지도와 필요도, 인지된 친밀함과 즐거움, 사용 의도를 파악하였으며, 각 변인이 지체장애인의 인공지능 스피커 사용 의도에 미치는 영향력을 확인하기 위해 다중회귀분석(Multiple linear regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 지체장애인의 인공지능 스피커에 대한 인지된 즐거움은 사용 의도에 유의한 정적 영향을 나타내었다. 그러나 지체장애인의 인공지능 스피커에 대한 인지도와 필요도, 인지된 친밀함은 인공지능 스피커 사용 의도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 나타내지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 장애인의 인공지능 스피커 사용 의도 향상을 위해 즐거움 요소를 강화하는 것이 필요함을 시사하며, 장애인을 위한 인공지능 제품과 맞춤형 서비스를 개발하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 점에서 의의가 있다.
