병원 간호사의 지각된 간호관리역량에 대한 중요도와 수행도 (Clinical Nurses' Perception on the Importance and Performance of Nursing Managerial Competencies)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate clinical nurses' perception on nursing managerial competencies. Methods: This was a descriptive study. The data were collected from 198 nurse managers who had worked in six general hospitals using a self-reporting questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Importance-Performance Analysis. Results: Only 32% of the participants had experienced nursing managerial competency training. The mean score for perceived performance of nursing managerial competency was lower than that for perceived importance. There were significant differences in perceived importance, performance, and importance-performance gaps among head, charge, and staff nurses. Importance-performance analysis showed that three of the 30 nursing managerial competencies require further development: staffing, human resources development and education, and nursing standard development competency. There were significant differences in importance-performance gaps according to age, career years in current hospital, work shift, position, nursing delivery system, and nursing managerial competency-education experience. Conclusion: A training program for developing and improving nursing managerial competencies which is focused on the gaps in importance and performance level is needed for clinical nurses. In addition, it should be considered to improve nursing work conditions such as nursing delivery system and formal appointment in order to increase the performance of nursing managerial competencies.

e-비즈니스 채택요인과 성과에 관한 대기업과 중소기업의 차이분석 (A Comparative Analysis on the e-Business Adoption Factors and Performance in Large and Small Companies)

  • The majority of studies was undertaken on large companies that had adopted e-Business or on the specific case of dot.com companies. However, despite this interest in the effect of the size of an organization on its approach to e-Business, little direct comparison has been undertaken between small and large companies. This study examined the differences of e-Business adoption factors and e-Business performance between large and small companies. Reviewing the literature, we suggest a research model and develop nine hypotheses to be tested. Data are collected from 109 companies Implemented e-business. The results of hypothesis testing show as follows. First, e-Business performance of efficiency has a positive influence of perceived e-Business advantage, top management support, organizational learning ability and financial slack. Second, e-Business performance of sales performance has a positive influence of top management support. Third, e-Business performance of customer satisfaction has a positive influence of technology competence, perceived e-Business advantage, top management support, financial slack and institutional pressure. Finally, there are differences in the e-business factors(perceived e-Business advantage, top management support, institutional pressure) and e-Business performance(efficiency) between large and small companies.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the intention of using a news media platform using block chain through media company workers in a situation where various platform services using block chain are being newly released in the media industry. Therefore, in this paper, we intend to explore the development direction of the news media platform service using the block chain in the future by deriving implications through the characteristics of the block chain, user characteristics, and self-determination factors. Design/methodology/approach This study conducted a survey on the main characteristics of blockchain, user characteristics, self-determination, resistance to innovation, etc., and designed a research model by integrating factors on the continuity of intention to use the news media platform. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, in this study, it was confirmed that the intention to use the blockchain news media platform is significantly related to decentralization, which is a characteristic variable of the blockchain, perceived risk, which is a user characteristic variable, and competence and relationship, which is a self-determination variable. In addition, it was confirmed that it affects the perceived ease of use with respect to the intention to use. In addition, in this study, news writers write more careful articles as they cannot edit articles once written, which can contribute to improving the quality of news content.

모바일 소셜 네트워크 게임의 아이템 구매의도에 영향을 주는 요인 (Factors on the Intention to Purchase Charged Items in Mobile Social Network Game)

  • 최근 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 기반으로 다양한 형태의 비즈니스와 컨텐츠 산업이 빠르게 성장하고 있으며, 그 중에서도 바로 소셜 네트워크 게임(Social Network Game, 이하 SNG)에 대한 주목도가 높아지고 있다. 특히, SNG 내 유료 아이템 구매로 인한 SNG 개발업체 및 개발자의 수익성에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 어떠한 요인들이 SNG 이용자로 하여금 유료 아이템 구매를 유도하는 지에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 먼저, 문헌 연구를 통해 유료 아이템 구매의도의 선행 요인으로 플로우를 도출 하였고, 플로우에 영향을 주는 요인들을 크게 개인적 영향, 사회적 관계, 사회적 영향으로 분류하였다. 개인적 영향으로는 재미와 유능성, 사회적 관계로는 사회적 상호작용과 자기표현요구, 그리고 사회적 영향으로는 사회적 규범과 인지된 확산정도를 도출하고 연구 가설을 설정하였다. 국내 SNG 이용 경험자를 대상으로 실증 분석을 수행한 결과, 개인적 특성 중 재미, 사회적 관계 특성 중 자기표현욕구만 이용자 플로우에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사회적 영향의 사회적 규범과 인지된 확산정도는 모두 아이템 구매의도에 직접적으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 이론적 실무적 시사점을 도출하였다.

신생아중환자실 간호사가 인식한 간호업무의 중요도와 수행 자신감 (Analysis of the importance of nursing care and performance confidence perceived by nurses in the neonatal intensive care unit)

  • Purpose: Neonatal nurses are expected to have clinical competency to provide qualified and safe care for high-risk infants. An educational intervention to enhance nurses' clinical competence is often a priority in the nursing field. This study was conducted to explore nurses' perceived importance and performance confidence of nursing care activities in neonatal intensive care units. Methods: One hundred forty-one neonatal nurses from seven hospitals across South Korea participated in the online survey study. The scale of neonatal nursing care activity consisted of 8 subdomains including professional practice (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, education, research, and leadership). The Importance-Performance Matrix was used to analyze the importance of and confident performance in each of the nursing subdomains. Results: Both importance and performance confidence increased as nurses' age (p=.042 and p<.001) and clinical experience (p=.004 and p<.001). Participants scored relatively higher in importance and performance confidence in the professional practice subdomains (assessment, intervention, evaluation), but scored lower in the education and research subdomains. Conclusion: To provide evidence-based nursing care for high-risk infants in neonatal intensive care units, educational interventions should be developed to support nurses based on the findings of the research.

문화적 도전과 경제적 곤란이 다문화부부의 이혼의사에 미치는 영향 : 자기효과와 상대방효과로 본 상호의존성과 관계패턴 (Effects of Cultural Challenge and Economic Hardship on Intention to Divorce among the Multicultural Couples : Interdependence and Relationship Patterns Viewed Through Actor and Partner Effects)

  • 이 연구는 부부의 상호의존성을 고려하여 자기-상대방 상호의존 모형(the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model)으로 문화적 도전과 경제적 곤란이 다문화부부의 이혼의사에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과를 조사하고, 이 두 효과의 조합을 비율로 측정하여 양자관계의 패턴을 살펴보았다. 여성결혼이민자 부부표본 415쌍(n=830)의 자료로 APIM에 대한 경로분석을 실시한 결과, 한국인 남편의 문화적 도전에 대한 높은 인식은 자신과 배우자의 이혼의사에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과가 유의했고, 결혼이민자인 부인의 그런 인식은 자신의 이혼의사에 기여하는 자기효과만 유의했다. 반면 남편의 경제적 곤란 인식은 자신과 부인의 이혼의사에 미치는 효과가 미미했고, 여성결혼이민자에게 지각된 경제적 곤란은 자신과 배우자의 이혼의사에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과가 유의했다. 붓스트랩을 이용하여 APIM 효과들의 관계패턴을 검정한 결과, 남편의 이혼의사는 문화적 도전의 자기중심패턴이, 그리고 부인의 경우는 커플패턴이 지지되었다. 경제적 곤란은 효과크기의 비교로 남편과 부인의 이혼의사가 각각 상대방중심패턴과 자기중심패턴에 가까움을 유추할 수 있었다. 이 결과들은 한국인 남편이 배우자와의 문화차를 포용할 수 있는 문화적 역량을 키우고 여성결혼이민자가 경제적 자립에 대해 희망을 가질 수 있도록 이들과 가족의 경제적 역량을 강화하는 것이 부부의 화합과 다문화가족의 해체방지에 기여할 수 있음을 시사하여 끝으로 이를 논의하였다.

방문자의 자아 구성, 자아 존중감, 성별이 개인 웹사이트에 드러난 자기 제시(self-presentation)에 대한 평가에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-construals, Self-esteem, and Gender on the Evaluation of Personal Web Sites' Self-presentation Styles)

  • 본 연구는 흔히 미니 홈피로 불리는 개인 웹사이트(personal website)의 자기 제시(self-presentation)에 대한 평가가 어떠한 요인들에 의해 영향 받는지를 알아보고자 한 것이다. 성별, 자아 구성, 자아 존중감, 자기제시 방식을 주요 설명변인으로 놓고 개인 웹사이트 주인에 대한 호감도와 유능감을 종속변인으로 한 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 검증해 보았다. 또한 잠재평균분석(LMA)을 통해서 구인된 변인들 간에 남녀 집단에서 차이가 존재하는지도 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 여성이 남성에 비해 상호의존적 자아구성 성향이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 남녀 모두 동성보다는 이성의 자기 제시에 대해 높은 호감도를 보였고, 동성의 과시형 자기 제시에 대해서는 상대적으로 낮은 호감도를 보였다. 한편, 지각된 유능감 측면에서도 남녀 모두 이성의 자기 제시에 대해 보다 유능하다는 평가를 하고, 여성의 경우에는 과시형 자기 제시를 한 남성에 대해 더욱 유능하다고 평가한 것으로 나타나, 자기제시자의 성별에 따라 평가가 크게 달라짐을 알 수 있었다. 한편, 자아구성과 자아존중감은 성별의 효과에 비해 일관적이지도 않고 상대적으로 약한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 오프라인에서의 자기제시에 대한 기존의 많은 연구와는 상당한 차이를 보이는 결과다. 이러한 차이가 웹사이트라는 특성에 기인한 것인지의 여부에 답하기 위해서는 다른 조건들을 동일하게 놓고 온라인과 오프라인의 자기제시 효과를 비교하는 후속 연구가 필요 할 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 방문자에게 호감을 주는 개인 웹사이트를 만들기 위해서는 방문자의 특성(특히 성별)을 고려한 자기 제시 유형을 전략적으로 활용해야 함을 암시한다.

간호학 전공학생의 교육과정에 대한 문화적 자각 (Cultural Awareness of Students in a Nursing Education Program)

  • Purpose: South Korea is rapidly changing into a multicultural society; the nursing discipline faces the need to educate its students in cultural competence to meet the health care needs of an ethnically diverse population. However, there is little evidence suggesting that nursing programs provide this education. The purpose of this study was to measure nursing students' cultural awareness in a nursing education program. Methods: Four hundred thirty-three nursing students at 4 universities in Daejeon participated in this cross-sectional descriptive study, which was held from August to September 2012. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires based on the Cultural Awareness Scale(CAS), and demographics included general and cultural characteristics. Results: The mean cultural awareness score was 4.54, which was relatively low compared to studies completed in other countries. The highest rating was in the cognitive awareness subscale, and the lowest was in the general education experiences subscale in CAS. The level of cultural awareness was significantly different in those who had experienced overseas travel. Those students also perceived a greater need for cultural education. Conclusion: The study's finding suggest the need for a transcultural nursing education program designed to enhance the level of cultural awareness in Korea's nursing students.

정보시스템 평가지표 개발에 관한 실증적 연구 : 공공부문을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on Development of IS Evaluation Indices : In Case of Public Sectors)

  • In this research, the comprehensive evaluation model of IS(information systems) for public sectors is theoretically constructed through reviewing and integrating previous IS evaluation-related research. This model is hypothesized to consist of five sectors(System Sector, User Sector, Organization and Management Sector, Resource Management Sector and Strategic Contribution Sector), ten evaluation items belonging to these five evaluation sectors, and sixty two evaluation indices for these ten evaluation items. The results of empirical analyses to test the validity of the research model show that the evaluation sectors turn out to be the same ones as proposed in the hypothetical model. The evaluation items(System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality) in System Sector proves to be consistent with the hypothetical model. However, in case of User Sector, two evaluation items(Perceived Usefulness and User Satisfaction) which are included in the hypothetical model are found to be merged into one item(User Satisfaction). And, it is shown that four evaluation items such as the Efficiency of Internal Process, Customer Satisfaction, Organizational Innovation, and the Degree of Informatization competence improvement are included in Organization and Management Sector, differently from the research model in which the items, Organizational innovation and the Degree of Informatization competence improvement, are not divided. As a final result, sixty two evaluation indices that comprise all the evaluation items belonging to five sectors are found to be reduced to fifty seven ones through factor analyses, criterion-related validity tests and reliability analyses.

카지노 종사자의 조직문화 인식과 심리적 임파워먼트 (Perceived Organizational Culture and Psychological Empowerment of Employees in Casino Companies)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to verify a role of organizational culture as antecedents to influence psychological empowerment of organizational members, focusing on service workers of casino companies. Therefore, this study sought to examine the question of each clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy culture that the workers perceive to influence their psychological empowerment. Thus, the current study examined the relationship between organizational culture and the psychological empowerment by empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study chose four domestic casino companies that are run only for foreigners. Using an offline survey, it analyzed the questionnaire data of the 249 surveys collected from employees working in the sales and service sectors. Independent variables were four types of organizational culture: clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy. Dependent variables were four subcategories of psychological empowerment: meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact. As research methods, the study applied descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results - Among the organizational culture types, the clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize flexibility and autonomy, were relatively more important for the psychological empowerment of workers than the hierarchy and market cultures. Clan culture was the most important factor in terms of meaning and competence, and adhocracy culture was the most important factor in self-determination and impact. However, the hierarchy and market cultures that pursue control and stability were also cultural types that positively affected psychological empowerment of the workers. Hierarchy culture showed positive effects on meaning, competence, and impact except self-determination, and market culture had positive effect only on competency. Conclusions - The study found that organizational culture is an important predictor of psychological empowerment of the employees in casino companies and that important organizational culture types may be different for each sub-factor of psychological empowerment. It suggests that casino companies have to try to recognize and secure diverse organizational culture in order to activate psychological empowerment of their employees because they can provide quality service for customers. Therefore, it is necessary to create a harmonious and balanced culture between promoting flexible and autonomous organizational atmosphere, and stably controlling and operating the organization.
