강원도 유역의 유출 특성에 관한 연구 (소양강댐 유역 중심으로) (A Study on the Runoff Characteristics m Kangwon Watershed (So-yang River Watershed))

  • This study is finding the most appropriate model of kangwondo watershed. To synthesize each hydrograph, It is found to several parameters which are used in existing hydrographes. then the synthestic hydrograph is compared and investigated with many hydrographes of the rivers in kanwondo. These methods, Nakayasu, Clark, SCS are used to calculate the run-off of this watershed. When the calculated run-off is compared with real rating-curves, then it is found that the SCS method using the Clark's concentrantion time is the best way on this area having large watershed, long river length and gentle water slope, the Nakayasu method is more suitable on this area having small watershed, short river length and steep water slope. Also it is founded from analyzing run-off hydrographes, peak run-off and peak time that the Clark's method applied Kirpich's concentration time way is suitable in the area of kangwondo.

오래 달리기로 인한 피로가 지면반력 성분에 미치는 영향 (Effect of a Prolonged-run-induced Fatigue on the Ground Reaction Force Components)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the potential injury via analyzing ground reaction force components that were resulted from a prolonged-run-induced fatigue. For the present study, passive and active components of the vertical ground reaction force were determined from time and frequency domain. Shear components of GRF also were calculated from time and frequency domain. Twenty subjects with rear foot contact aged 20 to 30, no experience in injuries of the extremities, were requested to run on the instrumented tread-mill for 160 minutes at their preference running speed. GRF signals for 10 strides were collected at 5, 35, 65, 95, 125, and 155 minute during running. In conclusions, there were no significant difference in the magnitude of passive force, impact load rate, frequency of the passive and active components in vertical GRF between running times except the magnitude of active force (p<.05). The magnitude of active force was significantly decreased after 125 minute run. The magnitude of maximum peak and maximum frequency of the mediolateral GRF at heel strike and toe-off have not been changed with increasing running time. The time up to the maximum peak of the anteroposterior at heel-strike moment tend to decrease (p<.05), but the maximum peak and frequency of that at heel and toe-off moment didn't depend significantly on running time.

수공구조물의 적정설계를 위한 유출모형 매개변수의 민감도 분석 (Sensitivity Analysis of the Runoff Model Parameter for the Optimal Design of Hydrologic Structures)

  • Currently, the increased run-off and the shortened arrival time are one of the causes of the city environmental disasters in urbanization. Therefore, it is necessary to properly design the hydrologic structures, but it is very difficult to forecast the values necessary to design from the planning stage. Moreover, as the parameter is changed due to the urban development, it is difficult not only to analyze the run-off influences but also to find the related studies and literatures. The purpose of this study is to utilize the results as the important basic data of the hydrologic structures, its proper design and run-off influences through the sensibility analysis of the model parameter variables. In this study, the absolute and relative sensibility analysis method were used to find out the correlation through the sensibility analysis of the topology and hydrology parameters. Especially, in this study, the changes in the run-off amount and volume were calculated according to increase/decrease in CN, the coefficient of discharge, and the empirical formula is prepared and proposed through the regressive analysis among the parameters. In the meantime, the parameter sensibility analysis was performed through the simulation HEC-HMS that is used and available in Korea. From the results of this study, it was found that the run-off amount is increased about by 10% when the CN value is increased by 5% before and after the development through the HEC-HMS simulation and data analysis. As long as there will be additional data collection analysis and result verification, and continuous further studies to find out the parameters proper to the domestic circumstances, it is expected to considerably contribute to the proper design of the hydrologic structures with respect to the ungauged basin.

야계(野溪)의 월류발생(越流發生)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) -관악산(冠岳山) 삼성천(三聖川)에서의 시험사례(試驗事例)- (Studies on the Overflow from Torrential Stream -A Case Study at the Samsung-cheon in Mt. Kwanak-)

  • 황발산지(荒發山地)에서 야계수로(野溪水路)의 월류발생원인(越流發生原因)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 1987년(年) 7월(月)3일(日)부터 7월(月)23일(日)까지 삼성천(三聖川)의 상류지역(上流地域)인 서울대학교(大學校) 부속(附屬) 관악수목원(冠岳樹木園)의 야계수로(野溪水路)를 대상(對象)으로 예상최대홍수류량(豫想最大洪水流量) 및 수로최대유출량(水路最大流出量)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 측정지점(測定地點)에서의 유역면적(流域面積)은 477ha로 설계유역면적(設計流域面積) 410ha의 116%였다. 2. 관측분석(觀測分析)된 최대강우강도(最大降雨强度)는 설계최대강우강도(設計最大降雨强度) 100mm/hr와 거의 같은 99.5mm/hr였다. 3. 실측(實測)한 유출계수(流出係數)는 0.672로 설계유출계수(設計流出係數) 0.35의 약 2배로 나타났다. 4. 예상최대홍수류량(豫想最大洪水流量)은 설계예상최대홍수류량(設計豫想最大洪水流量) $39.9m^3/sec$의 222%인$88.59m^3/sec$였다. 5. 수로횡단면적(水路橫斷面積)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果), 설계수로횡단면적(設計水路橫斷面積) $25.43m^2$의 68%인 $17.25m^2$을 얻었다. 6. 경심(徑深)은 0.94m로 설계경심(設計徑深) 1.28m 보다 작은 값을 나타내었다. 7. 평균계상(平均溪床)물매는 설계(設計)물매(1.00%)와 거의 같은 0.998%였다. 8. 수로최대평균유속(水路最大平均流速)은 2.87m/sec로 설계수로최대평균유속(設計水路最大平均流速) 3.68m/sec의 78%였다. 9. 수로최대유출용량(水路最大流出容量)을 산출(算出)한 바, 설계수로최대유출용량(設計水路最大流出容量) $93.58m^3/sec$의 53%인 $49.51m^3/sec$였다.

A STUDY ON THE PARAMETER ESTIMATION OF SNYDER-TYPE SYNTHETIC UNIT-HYDROGRAPH DEVELOPMENT IN KUM RIVER BASIN

  • Synthetic unit hydrograph equations for rainfall run-off characteristics analysis and estimation of design flood have long and quite frequently been presented, the Snyder and SCS synthetic unit hydrograph. The major inputs to the Snyder and SCS synthetic unit hydrograph are lag time and peak coefficient. In this study, the methods for estimating lag time and peak coefficient for small watersheds proposed by Zhao and McEnroe(1999) were applied to the Kum river basin in Korea. We investigated lag times of relatively small watersheds in the Kum river basin in Korea. For this investigation the recent rainfall and stream flow data for 10 relatively small watersheds with drainage areas ranging from 134 to 902 square kilometers were gathered and used. 250 flood flow events were identified along the way, and the lag time for the flood events was determined by using the rainfall and stream flow data. Lag time is closely related with the basin characteristics of a given drainage area such as channel length, channel slope, and drainage area. A regression analysis was conducted to relate lag time to the watershed characteristics. The resulting regression model is as shown below: ※ see full text (equations) In the model, Tlag is the lag time in hours, Lc is the length of the main river in kilometers and Se is the equivalent channel slope of the main channel. The coefficient of determinations (r$^2$)expressed in the regression equation is 0.846. The peak coefficient is not correlated significantly with any of the watershed characteristics. We recommend a peak coefficient of 0.60 as input to the Snyder unit-hydrograph model for the ungauged Kum river watersheds

엘리트 110m 허들선수의 세 번째 허들링 동작에 관한 운동학적 분석 (The Kinematic analysis of the third Hurdling motions of The 110m Hurdles Elite)

  • 이 연구는 국내에서 개최한 국제육강대회의 110m 허들 결승을 대상으로 대회 우승자(중국),2위 입상자(미국), 3위 입상자(한국) 총 3명을 대상자로 선정하였다. 국외 우수선수와 국내 우수선수의 허들링 동작을 분석하기 위해 3차원 영상분석을 이용하였으며, 기술적 특징을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 허들을 넘기 전 질주동작인 준비구간에서 국내 우수선수는 도약 접지에서 도약이지까지 신체 무게중심의 수평거리가 1.04m로 국외 우수선수보다 0.13m 길게 질주하는 것으로 나타났다. 허들을 넘는 비행구간에서 국내 우수선수는 도약에서 비행정점까지 신체 무게중심의 수평거리가 1.63m로 나타났으며, 국외 우수선수보다 0.33m 짧게 도약하는 것으로 나타났다. 비행정점에서 착지까지는 국내 우수선수가 1.59m로 국외 우수선수보다 0.33m 길게 착지하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 허들을 넘는 동안 신체 무게중심의 수평속도는 도약에서 착지까지 국내 우수선수가 0.75m/s 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 도약비율과 착지비율은 53:47로 나타났다. 허들을 넘은 후 질주하는 가속구간은 국내 우수선수가 착지이지에서 신체 무게중심의 수평속도가 8.78m/s로 나타났으며, 국외 우수선수보다 0.54m/s 느린 것으로 나타났다.

수축열조의 온도 계층화에 대한 수치해석 및 실험적 연구 (Numerical Analysis and Experiments for the Stratification of the Hot Water Storage)

  • In this study, the numerical analysis and experiments of the hot water storage using the thermal stratification techniques were carried out. The CPU time for a typical run of the the thermal stratification up to 900 seconds took one week for a $81{\times}31$ mesh size and 10 days for a $118{\times}31$ mesh size, respectively, for a cylindrical shape of the storage. In the initial stage, the numerical results were in favorable agreement with the experimental results, but it showed that the temperature gradients in the storage decreased gradually with time. It was also found that the increase of ${\delta}t$ decreased the convergent speed due to the intensive fluctuation of the velocity field in every iteration. The increase of numbers of grids is projected to forecast a more accurate result, but it made the computing time longer and woul slow down convergence. At the experiments of the flow visualization, it was confirmed that the thermal stratification was apparently built up due to the installation of diffuser at the lower part of the storage. Thus, the thermal performance of the storage could be improved by installing the diffusers at the inlet and outlet.

도시화 진행에 따른 유역 유출특성 변화에 관한 연구 (Runoff Characteristics Change of a Basin under Urbanization)

  • 유역의 급격한 도시화는 지체시간, 첨두유량 및 총 유출량 등 홍수 유출특성 뿐만 아니라 개발행위에 따른 토사유출특성 변화를 초래하여 배수관로내의 토사퇴적을 유발하여 도시홍수 발생 가능성 등 다양한 문제를 유발하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시화가 진행 중인 시험유역을 선정하여 지난 3년 동안 토지이용분포의 변화양상은 물론 강우 및 수위 자동계측기를 이용하여 연속적으로 유출수문 특성을 계측하였으며 유량-유사량 관계곡선을 유도하였다. 실측결과로부터 호우사상별 토지이용분포 변화에 따른 유출률과 첨두유출량의 변화를 정량적으로 분석하였으며 유역개발 건설과정에 따른 토사유출량의 변화특성을 정성적으로 분석하였다. 도시화가 진행될수록 합리식의 유출계수는 증가하였다. 토사의 경우 공사기간 중 유출량의 변화가 심하다는 사실과 특히, 공사기간 중 1 cms 미만의 유출을 유발하는 소규모 강우에 의한 부유사 유출은 약 10배 이상 증가한다는 사실을 확인하였다. 그러나 소류사의 경우 강우의 크기에 민감하지 않음을 확인할 수 있었다.

BDF 20을 사용하는 디젤기관들의 연소 및 내구특성 (Combustion Characteristics and Durability of Diesel Engines Burning BDF 20)

  • Three diesel engines were fueled with BDF 20, a blend of 80% diesel fuel and 20% biodiesel fuel by volume, and run in excess of 200 h to evaluate their combustion characteristics and durability. The engines used for this study were a 4-cylinder 2476-cc displacement IDI diesel engine(Engine 1), a 4-cylinder l732-cc displacement IDI diesel engine(Engine 2), and a single cylinder 673-cc displacement DI diesel engine(Engine 3). Engine dynamometer testing was performed on each engine at regularly scheduled intervals to monitor the performance and exhaust emissions, which were sampled at 1h intervals for analysis, The peak combustion pressure with BDF 20 increased in Engines 1 and 3 over that measured when burning pure diesel fuel, but that in Engine 2 remained constant. Combustion parameters, such as the maximum combustion pressure and corresponding crank angle, did not change over the long-term dynamometer testing. The BSFC with BDF 20 in Engine 1 was less than that measured with pure diesel fuel. The amount of smoke produced with BDF 20 was less for all engines ; the greatest reduction was observed for Engine 3. The NOx emissions were lower in the IDI engines than the DI engine. The traditional trade-off between smoke and NOx emissions was maintained for BDF 20 fuel for Engines 1 and 3. There was not a big difference in the $CO_2\;and\;O_2$ emissions for BDF 20, as compared to pure diesel fuel, but more $CO_2$ was exhausted by Engine 1 than by Engines 2 or 3 and less $O_2$ was exhausted by Engine 1 than by Engines 2 or 3. The engine parts remained clean, except for some carbon attached to the area surrounding the nozzle hole of the DI diesel engine.

Spatial and Temporal Variability of Water Quality in Korean Dam Reservoirs

  • The objectives of this study were to evaluate spatial and temporal variability of water quality in 10 reservoirs and identify the key nutrients (N, P) influencing chlorophyll-a (CHL) along with analysis of empirical models and zonal patterns of total phosphorus (TP) and CHL. We analyzed total nitrogen (TN), TP, CHL, water clarity (Secchi depth, SD), and evaluated potential limiting nutrient using ambient N:P ratios and previous criteria of ambient nutrients. Water clarity and CHL varied largely depending on the seasonal monsoon and type of reservoir, but trophic state was diagnosed as eutrophy, base on mean CHL in most reservoirs. The peak of TP did not match the contents of CHL due to rapid flushing during the high run-off period. In the reservoir of DR, regression coefficient in the $P_r$ was 0.510 but was 0.159 in the $M_o$, while the TP-CHL relation in the YR increased during the monsoon compared to the premonsoon. The regression coefficient in the $P_r$ was not statistically significant but the value of $M_o$ was 0.250. TP showed similar longitudinal zonal gradients among the reservoirs of DR, YR and JR. Empirical models of TP-CHL, based on overall data, showed that CHL was determined by phosphorus($R^2=0.244$, p=0.0019). Regression analysis of CHL-SD showed a stronger linear fit ($R^2=0.638$, p<0.001) than the TP-CHL model.
