DTN에서 노드의 속성 정보 변화율과 가중치를 이용한 이동 예측 기법 (A Prediction Method using WRC(Weighted Rate Control Algorithm) in DTN)

  • 본 논문에서는 Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs)에서 노드의 속성 정보 변화율을 이용한 이동 예측 알고리즘인 WRC(Weighted Rate Control)알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존 DTN에서 예측기반 라우팅 기법은 노드의 이전 속성 정보를 이용하여 목적 노드와 연결성이 높은 노드를 중계 노드로 선정하여 통신한다. 따라서 이동 노드는 유동적이므로 노드의 이후 속성 정보를 반영하지 않는 예측 기법은 신뢰성이 낮아진다. 본 논문에서는 이전 속성 정보로부터 이후 속성정보까지의 시간에 따른 변화율과 속성의 가중치 정보를 이용하여 노드의 이동 경로를 예측하는 WRC알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 노드의 속성 정보 중 노드의 속도와 방향성을 근사한 후, 변화율을 분석하고 이로부터 제안된 가중치를 이용하여 노드의 이동 경로를 예측하는 알고리즘이다. 주어진 모의실험 환경에서 노드의 이동 경로 예측을 통해 중계 노드를 선정하여 라우팅 함으로써 네트워크 오버헤드와 전송 지연 시간이 감소함을 보여주고 있다.

  • 배터리를 동력원으로 사용하는 무인항공기의 경우 배터리 용량이 한정적이기 때문에 임무 수행에 제약이 발생할 수 있다. 이를 최소화하기 위해 임무 지역으로 이동하는 동안 소모되는 배터리를 최소화 하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 임무 계획 단계에서 배터리 소모량 예측 모델을 이용하여 임무 수행 가능성을 사전에 판단할 수 있으며 복귀 시점 선정에 기준이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 공간에서 환경 요소를 반영한 배터리 사용량 예측 모델을 제안한다. 무인항공기의 비행 기하 관계에 따라 요구 동력을 산출하고 이를 통해 배터리 사용량을 예측하였으며 기존에 제안된 배터리 사용량 예측 기법과 비교를 통해 검증한다. 또한 이를 목적함수로 하여 배터리 사용량을 최소화 하는 비행경로를 생성하고 최단 거리를 목적함수로 하였을 때의 결과와 비교하였다.

모바일 애드 혹 네트워크에서 링크 단절 예측을 사용한 지역 수정 라우팅 알고리즘 (Local Repair Routing Algorithm using Link Breakage Prediction in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks)

  • 무선 모바일 애드 혹 네트워크에서 경로를 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 많은 라우팅 알고리즘이 연구되어 왔다. 여기서 요구 기반 방식의 AODV 라우팅 알고리즘은 경로를 유지하는데 있어서 Hello 메시지를 주기적으로 전송하여, 경로의 상태를 검사하게 된다. 그리고 경로가 단절 되었을 때, 그것을 인지한 노드가 송신지 노드에게 RERR 패킷을 전송하거나 RREQ 패킷을 지역적으로 전송함으로써 경로를 재설정하게 된다. 하지만 RREQ와 같은 제어 패킷을 플러딩 하기 때문에 대역폭의 낭비와 데이터 전송의 지연도 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위하여 기존의 AODV (Ad-Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) 라우팅 알고리즘을 기반으로 링크의 상태를 예측하여 경로를 수정하는 LRRLBP 알고리즘을 제안한다. 여기서 링크의 상태는 주기적으로 수신 받는 Hello 메시지를 통한 수신 세기를 이용한다. 그리고 이러한 링크의 상태를 모니터링하여 경로가 단절되기 전에 지역적으로 경로를 수정한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 ns-2 시뮬레이터 사용하여 성능을 검증하였다.

Shedding Light on the Use of AS Relationships for Path Inference

  • Autonomous system (AS) business relationships and their inference have been widely studied by network researchers in the past. An important application of inferred AS relationships can be the prediction of AS paths between a source and destination AS within a model. However, besides knowing the topology and inferred AS relationships, AS path prediction within a model needs to be understood in order for us to know how we can derive border gateway protocol (BGP) policies from AS relationships. In this paper, we shed light onto the predictive capabilities of AS relationships by investigating whether they can be translated into BGP policies such that inferred AS paths are consistent with real AS paths, e.g., paths observed from BGP routing tables. Our findings indicate that enforcing constraints such as the well-known valley-free property and the widely assumed preference of customer routes always results in a very low consistency for AS path inference. In addition, this is true irrespective of whether customer, peer, or provider routes are preferred. Apparently, applying such constraints eliminates many "correct" paths that are observed in BGP routing tables and that are propagated in a simple shortest path model where AS relationships are ignored. According to our findings, deriving BGP routing policies for predicting with high accuracy AS paths in a model directly from AS relationships is still difficult.

소셜네트워크에서 신뢰의 전이성과 결합성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Transitivity and Composability of Trust in Social Network)

  • Trust prediction between users in social network based on the trust propagation assumes properties of transitivity and composability of trust propagation. But it has been hard to find studies which test on how those properties have been operated in real social network. This study aims to validate if the longer the distance of trust paths and the less the numbers of trust paths, the higher prediction error occurs using two real social network data set. As a result, the longer the distance of trust paths, we can find higher prediction error when predicting level of trust between source and target users. But we can not find decreasing trend of prediction error though the possible number of trust paths between source and target users increases.

  • General adaptive noise canceller(ANC) suffers from the misadjustment of adaptive filter weights, because of the gradient-estimate noise at steady state. In this paper, an adaptive noise cancellation algorithm with speech detector which is distinguishing speech from silence and adaptation-transient region is proposed. The speech detector uses property of adaptive prediction-error filter which can filter the highly correlated speech. To detect speech region, estimation error which is the output of the adaptive filter is applied to the adaptive prediction-error filter. When speech signal apears at the input of the adaptive prediction-error filter. The ratio of input and output energy of adaptive prediction-error filter becomes relatively lower. The ratio becomes large when the white noise appears at the input. So the region of speech is detected by the ratio. Sign algorithm is applied at speech region to prevent the weights from perturbing by output speech of ANC. As results of computer simulation, the proposed algorithm improves segmental SNR and SNR up to about 4 dBand 11 dB, respectively.

A robust collision prediction and detection method based on neural network for autonomous delivery robots

  • For safe last-mile autonomous robot delivery services in complex environments, rapid and accurate collision prediction and detection is vital. This study proposes a suitable neural network model that relies on multiple navigation sensors. A light detection and ranging technique is used to measure the relative distances to potential collision obstacles along the robot's path of motion, and an accelerometer is used to detect impacts. The proposed method tightly couples relative distance and acceleration time-series data in a complementary fashion to minimize errors. A long short-term memory, fully connected layer, and SoftMax function are integrated to train and classify the rapidly changing collision countermeasure state during robot motion. Simulation results show that the proposed method effectively performs collision prediction and detection for various obstacles.

방사성 폐기물 작업 중의 피폭서량 예측 프로그램 개발 (Development of Exposure Level Prediction Program in Radioactive Waste Work)

  • In spite of the importance of nuclear power as one of major electric energies in Korea, the nuclear safety has become the most serious social issue in the operation of the nuclear power plant. In this paper, a virtual work simulation program was developed to predict exposure dose during radiation work in radwaste storage. The work simulation program was developed. using $Java ^{TM}$applet and VRML-virtual reality modeling language. A numerical algorithm to find the optimal work path which minimize exposure dose during the given work, was developed and exposure dose on the optimal work path was compared with that on the shortest path. Comparing with the shortest path for the given work, the predicted optimal path consumed longer work time by II% but reduced total exposure dose by 46%. The simulation result showed that the exposure dose depended on not only work time, but also the distance between the worker and the radiation source. The developed simulation program could be a useful tool for the planning of radioactive waste work to increase the radiation safety of workers.

  • Solutions of geotechnical engineering problems require predictions of deformation and stresses during various stages of loading. Powerful numerical methods are available to make such predictions even for complicated problems. To get accurate results, realistic stress-strain relationships of soils are dependent on a number of factors such as soil type, density, stress level and stress path. Attempts are continuously being made to develope analytical models for soils incorporating all such factors. Isotropic compression-expansion test and a series of drained conventional triaxial tests with several stress path for Baekma river sand were performed to investigate stress-strain and volume change characteristics of Lade's single work hardening model dependant on the stress path. In order to predicted of stress-strain and volumetric strain behavior were determined the values of parameters for the mode by the computer program based on the regression analysis. Predicted stress-strain behavior of triaxial compression tests and optional stress path tests for increasing confining pressure with parameters obtained conventional triaxial compression tests agreed with several test results but the prediction results for decreasing confining pressure reduced triaxial compression tests make a little difference with test results.
