With the dynamic and mobile nature of ad hoc networks, links may fail due to topology changes. So, a major challenge in ad hoc network is dynamically to search paths from a source to destination with an efficient routing method, which is an important issue for delay-sensitive real-time application. The main concerns of graph theory in communications are finding connectivity and searching paths using given nodes. A topology of the nodes in ad hoc networks can be modeled as an adjacency matrix. In this paper, based on this adjacency matrix, we propose new path search algorithms using a sequence of matrix calculation. The proposed algorithms can search paths from a destination to a source using connectivity matrix. Two matrix-based algorithms for two different purposes are proposed. Matrix-Based Backward Path Search(MBBS) algorithm is designed for shortest path discovery and Matrix-Based Backward Multipath Search(MBBMS) algorithm is for multipath search.

Over recent years, enormous amounts of research in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been conducted, due to its multifarious applications such as in environmental monitoring, object tracking, disaster management, manufacturing, monitoring and control. In some of WSN applications dependent the energy-efficient and link reliability are demanded. Hence, this paper presents a routing protocol that considers these two criteria. We propose a new mechanism called Reliable Routing Scheme for Energy-Balanced (RRSEB) to reduce the packets dropped during the data communications. It is based on Swarm Intelligence (SI) using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) method. The RRSEB is a self-adaptive method to ensure the high routing reliability in WSNs, if the failures occur due to the movement of the sensor nodes or sensor node's energy depletion. This is done by introducing a new method to create alternative paths together with the data routing obtained during the path discovery stage. The goal of this operation is to update and offer new routing information in order to construct the multiple paths resulting in an increased reliability of the sensor network. From the simulation, we have seen that the proposed method shows better results in terms of packet delivery ratio and energy efficiency.

Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV), is one of well-designed routing protocols in mobile ad hoc networks. It supports the functionality of node mobility modules through multiple control messages to create and maintain paths for data transfer. Even though a number of studies have been conducted to achieve rapid discovery of paths across the network, but few have focused on impact of control messages. This paper proposes a method to adjust the transmission time of messages used in path recovery according to their individual characteristics. Simulation results show the improved performance of the proposed algorithm rather than traditional AODV routing protocol.

Since the existing protocols separated mobility management part and routing protocol part in their design and used a flooding, they suffer from the high control overhead, thereby limiting performance. In this paper, we use a tree-based mobility management method and present a simple and efficient routing protocol that exploits the topology information which is built additionally through mobility management. Thus, the mobility management and the routing protocol closely cooperate to optimize control overhead. Furthermore, we use a progressive path discovery method to alleviate traffic congestion around IG and a unicast-based broadcast method to increase the reliability of message delivery and to judge link validity promptly. The proposed protocol reduces control overhead greatly and works in a stable manner even with the large number of nodes and high mobility. This was proven by comparing with the AODV protocol that employs the hybrid mobility management protocol.

MANET is a dynamically reconfigurable wireless network with no fixed infrastructure (base station, or AP). In order to provide the data service in MANET, we need an efficient routing protocol to deliver the data to the wanted destination at a mobile node. A method of routing protocols called reactive routing protocol has recently got attention because of their low routing overhead. But a method of flooding broadcasts the packet to all of its neighbors. For this reason, each of the node has high routing overhead to route and keep path discovery. Accordingly in this paper, I propose an adaptive flooding scheme using N-hop look-ahead in MANET, md an optimal N value of doing flooding the packet to limited area. Because of being basically ignorant about topological changes, each of the node did not spontaneously cope with path alteration. But an efficient flooding scheme applying N-hop look-ahead is more resilient to topology changes than traditional algorithms. And also with this efficient flooding scheme, the simulation results demonstrate excellent reduction of routing overhead.
To increase the lifetime of ad-hoc networks, a ratio of energy consumption for each node should be kept constant by equally distributing network traffic loads into all of the nodes. In this paper, we propose a modified AODV routing protocol to determine a possible route by considering a remaining battery capacity of a node and the degree of its usage. In addition, to reduce the amount of energy consumption during the path rediscovery process due to the huge amount of the AODV control messages the limited number of possible routes are stored into a routing table of a source node. When some links of a route fail, another possible path can be looked up in the table before the route discovery process should be initiated. We have tested our proposed method with a conventional AODV and a MMBCR method which is one of the power-efficient energy routing protocols based on the three performance metrics, i.e., the total remaining battery capacity, network lifetime and the ratio of data packets received by the destination node to compare their performance.
In this paper, we propose a dynamic source routing protocol supporting asymmetric paths for mobile Ad Hoc networks that contain unidirectional links. At present, the existing dynamic source routing protocol supports only symmetric paths that consist of bidirectional links for routing. However, in fact, there can exist unidirectional links due to asymmetric property of mobile terminals or current wireless environment. Thus, we implement a mobile Ad Hoc routing protocol supporting unidirectional links, which is fit for more general wireless environment. Especially, the proposed protocol uses an improved multipath maintenance method in order to perform rapid route reconfiguration when route error due to mobility is detected. For performance evaluation, we consider the following factors: average route discovery time and average data reception rate. In order to obtain the factors of the performance evaluation, we did simulation for 900 seconds in the step of 100 seconds with the following scenarios: usage of route cache in intermediate nodes on route path, and different mobility/connection patterns.

The user clustering for web navigation pattern discovery is very useful to get preference and behavior pattern of users for web pages. In addition, the information by the user clustering is very essential for web personalization or customer grouping. In this paper, an algorithm for clustering the web navigation path of users is proposed and then some special navigation patterns can be recognized by the algorithm. The proposed algorithm has two clustering phases. In the first phase, all paths are classified into k-groups on the bases of the their similarities. The initial solution obtained in the first phase is not global optimum but it gives a good and feasible initial solution for the second phase. In the second phase, the first phase solution is improved by revising the k-means algorithm. In the revised K-means algorithm, grouping the paths is performed by the hyperplane instead of the distance between a path and a group center. Experimental results show that the proposed method is more efficient.

In cognitive radio ad-hoc networks, common control channel overload and packet collisions are occured due to indiscriminate broadcasting of control packets. So that the path reliability is reduced and control channel is easily saturated. In this paper, we propose a new routing algorithm considering the probability of appearance of primary user and channel status of neighbor nodes. When the source node needs to transmit a data packet to the destination, it performs route discovery process by exchanging control messages using a control channel in ADOV CR Ad-hoc networks. If any intermediate node doesn't have common data channel with previous node to transmit data, it doesn't rebroadcast control packet. And if it has common data channels with previous node, each node determines channel contribution factor with the number of common channels. Based on the channel contribution factor, each node performs different back-off broadcasting. In addition, each node controls control packet flooding by applying to proposed advanced mode using such as number of available channels and channel stability. With the proposed method, the number of control packets to find the data transmission path and the probability of collision among control packets can be decreased. While the path reliability can be increased. Through simulation, we show that our proposed algorithm reduces packet collisions in comparison with the traditional algorithm.
The main research is on how to find source stories and develop and utilize content that will properly show the value of Panmunjom and the surrounding DMZ on the Korean Peninsula, which are receiving worldwide attention. Three methods were used as research for the high-end branding of Panmunjom and the surrounding DMZ. The first is the interest of prospective visitors through the travel cycle, using Joseph Campbell's "The Hero's Journey." The second was to incorporate Roland Bart's "third meaning" into the subjective travel and emotional stimulation, which is the trend of modern travel. The third introduced Kevin Lynch's theory and tried to place five elements of the path, edge, district, node and landmark in the core location of Panmunjom. Through the study, the excavation of contents in Panmunjom and the surrounding DMZ needs to be collected to a third meaning using a direct interview method that listens to the stories of related figures as well as organizing historical events. The priority should be given to those over the age of 80 and interviews should be conducted at least three times and over three generations. The process of building it into an archive, selecting a story, and then going through a culture collage and networking and branding takes place in five stages. This can create a virtuous circle of content processing, content utilization, job creation in the region and revitalizing the local economy through discovery of source stories and storytelling. Content development should be able to touch sensibility while saving time, history, place, originality and sincerity. Taking the center between tourism and travel, development and damage concerns, a careful but long-term plan and large-scale discovery of source stories should be made, and a consensus should be formed on the need for proper storytelling.
