고강도 콘크리트의 염화물 침투특성 (Chloride Permeability of High Strength Concrete)

  • Chloride permeability of high strength concrete(HSC) was investigated using saltwater pending test and rapid chloride permeability test by electrical potential(ASTM C 1202). The lower water-cement ratio concrete showed the lower diffusion coefficient of chloride. The relationship between the diffusion coefficient of chloride and charge passed by the rapid chloride permeability test could be obtained. This relationship appears to be an effective method for evaluating chloride permeability of low water-cement HSC.

교류형 플라즈마 디스플레이에서 선택적 초기화 방법에 의한 기입 방전 특성의 영향 (Effect of Address Discharge Characteristics by Selective Reset Method in AC Plasma Display Panel)

  • The effect of address discharge characteristics by selective reset method is investigated to prevent the weakness of address discharge in the middle of a TV-field without increase of the black luminance. To reduce black luminance in AC PDP usually, the first subfield during one TV frame adopted the conventional rising ramp-reset waveform, whereas the other subfields adopted the subsidiary reset waveform without rising ramp type. As the wall charge for the address discharge was accumulated by only the rising ramp waveform during the first reset period, the wall charge on three electrodes was disappeared as time passed and the address discharge would be weakened in the rear subfields. To prevent a reduction of the address discharge characteristics without decrease the black luminance, the modified rising ramp reset waveform was adopted only in the sixth subfield. As a result, a modified driving method could improve the address discharge characteristics compared with selective reset driving scheme with almost the same black luminance.

MR-EMR 복합공정에 의한 탄탈륨분말의 제조시 온도변화에 따른 분말의 특성 (Characteristics of Powder with Change of Temperature in Production of Tantalum Powder by MR-EMR Combination Process)

  • In the conventional metallothermic reduction (MR) process for obtaining tantalum powder in batch-type operation. it is difficult to control morphology and location of deposits. On the other hand, a electronically mediated reaction (EMR) process is capable to overcome these difficulties and has a merit of continuous process, but it has the defect that the reduction yield is poor. MR-EMR combination process is a method that is able to overcome demerits of MR and EMR process. In this study, a MR-EMR combination process has been applied to the production of tantalum powder by sodium reduction of $K_2$TaF$_{7}$. The total charge passed through external circuit and average particle size (FSSS) were increased with increasing reduction temperature. The proportion of fine particle (-325 mesh) was decreased with increasing reduction temperature. The yield was improved from 65% to 74% with increasing reduction temperature. Considering the charge, impurities, morphology, particle size and yield, an reduction temperature of 1,123 K was found to be optimum temperature for MR-EMR combination process.

  • In this study, tantalum powder has been producted by MR-EMR combination process. MR-EMR combination process is a method that is able to improve demerits of MR(metallothermic reduction) and EMR(electronically mediated reaction) process. This study examined the characteristics of powder with the amount of reductant excess using $K_2$TaF$_{7}$ as feed materials, Na as a reductant and KCl/KF as a diluent. In addition, this study examined acid treatment that affect the high purification of powder. The impurities contained in powder was removed in various conditions of acid treatment. The total charge passed through external circuit and average particle size(FSSS) were increased with increasing amount of sodium excess. The proportion of fine particle(-325mesh) was decreased with increasing amount of sodium excess. The yield was improved from 70% to 76% with increasing amount of sodium excess. Considering the impurities, charge, morphology, particle size and yield, an amount of sodium excess of 10wt% were found to be optimum conditions for MR-EMR combination process.s.

혼화재를 사용한 모르타르 및 콘크리트의 염소이온 침투 저항성 평가 (A Method on the Rapid Assessment of Resistance to Chloride Ion Penetration for Mortar and Concrete with Mineral Admixtures)

  • 본 논문에서는 콘크리트의 염소이온에 대한 저항성을 평가하기 위한 대표적인 전기적 촉진시험인 ASTM C 1202 방법을 혼화재를 사용한 콘크리트에 적용하면 콘크리트내의 $OH^-$ 농도의 저하에 따른 영향으로 통과전하량을 낮게 평가할 수 있다는 문제점을 지적하고 이에 해결방안으로 증류수를 사용하는 보정방법을 검토하였다. 실험결과 보정방법 사용시 $OH^-$ 이온과 온도상승에 의한 영향을 배제시킬 수 있었고 NaCl 용액에 장기침지실험을 통해 구한 염화물 확산계수와의 비교시 ASTM C 1202 방법보다 상관성이 높게 나타나 혼화재를 사용한 콘크리트의 염소이온 침투저항성을 보다 정확하게 평가할 수 있는 방법이라 사료된다.

4성분계 콘크리트의 염해 저항성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on Chloride Attack Resistibility of Quaternary Concrete)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 플라이 애시, 고로슬래그 미분말, 실리카흄을 사용하여 4성분계 콘크리트의 염해 저항성능을 평가하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 압축강도, 탄성계수, 염수침지 시험, 염화물 확산계수 및 침투계수를 실시하였다. 4성분계 콘크리트의 염화물 확산계수와 침투계수는 재령 17주에 $0.032{\times}10^{-12}m^2/sec$와 650 coulomb으로 측정되었다. 또한 침지시험 결과 염화물 이온 침투깊이와 염화물량은 3.7 mm and $10.211kg/m^3$로 측정 되었다. 이러한 결과로부터 플라이 애시, 고로슬래그 미분말, 실리카흄을 사용하여 제조한 4성분계 콘크리트는 염해 저항성능과 역학적 특성이 매우 높을 것을 알 수 있었다.

Fly Ash를 혼입한 콘크리트의 재령에 따른 강도와 염화물 저항능력간의 상관관계 평가 (Evaluation of Relationship between Strength and Resistance to Chloride in Concrete Containing Fly Ash with Ages)

  • 화력발전의 부산물인 플라이 애쉬는 포졸란 반응을 통하여 조직구조를 개선하고 장기 강도 및 염화물 저항성에 매우 효과적이다. 본 연구에서는 28일 및 180일 재령의 보통 포틀랜트 시멘트 및 FA를 혼입한 콘크리트에 대하여 압축강도 및 염화물 저항성을 평가하였으며, 재령의 증가에 따른 상관성을 평가하였다. 이를 위해, 물-결합재비(W/B)를 37%, 42%, 47%의 3가지 수준, Fly Ash를 시멘트 중량의 0%, 30%, 50%의 3가지 수준으로 나누어 총 9가지 배합을 설정하였으며, 28일 및 180일 재령 시, 압축강도, Tang's method에 의한 촉진확산계수, 그리고 ASTM C 1202, KS F 2711을 통한 통과전하량을 측정하였다. Fly Ash 혼입율이 클수록, W/B가 낮을수록 염화물 저항성(확산계수 및 통과전하량)이 개선되었는데, 모든 FA 50 배합에서 염화물 저항성은 재령 28일 대비 재령 180일에서 약 15% 수준으로 감소하였다. 이는 FA의 포졸란 반응으로 인해 공극구조가 더 치밀해져 나타난 결과이며, 염해 저항성이 강도보다 시간에 더욱 의존적임을 알 수 있다. 재령 180일 이후, FA를 혼입한 배합에서 강도와 염해저항성의 뚜렷한 선형관계가 관측되었다.

  • SNU 1.5-MV 직렬형 반데그라프 가속기의 헬륨음이온원으로서 Rb 전하교환기를 제작하였다. 교환기의 최적운전조건을 결정하기 위해 특성실험을 수행하였다. Duoplasmatron 이온원에서 인출된 1~10 keV 에너지의 첼륨양이온빔을 Rb 증기속에 통과시킴으로써 2 단계 전하교환반응, 즉 $He^{+}\;+\;Rb\;{\rightarrow}\;He^{\circ\ast}\;+\;Rb^{+}\;과\;He^{\circ\ast}\;+\;Rb\;{\rightarrow}\;He^{-}\;+\;Rb^{+}$에 의해 헬륨음이온을 얻었다 실험결과로부터 헬륨음이온의 최대생성률이 헬륨양이온에너지가 7 keV일때 얻어짐을 알 수 있었다. Oven과 Canal의 최적온도는 각각 $370^{\circ}C{\;}와\;95^{\circ}C$로 결정되었다. 최적동작조건하에서 최대 헬륨음이온 생성률은 $2.42\pm002\;%$이었다. 본 전하교환기는 헬륨음이온생성에 효과적인 장치임이 입증되었다.

Modeling the electric transport of HCl and H3PO4 mixture through anion-exchange membranes

  • The electric transport of the mixture of hydrochloric and phosphoric acids through strong base (Neosepta ACM) and weak base (Selemion AAV) anion-exchange membranes was investigated. The instantaneous efficiency of HCl removal from the cathode solution, $CE_{Cl}$, with and without $H_3PO_4$ was determined. It was found that $CE_{Cl}$ was 0.8-0.9 if the number of moles of elementary charge passed through the system, $n_F$, did not exceed ca. 80% of the initial number of HCl moles in the cathode solution, $n_{Cl,ca,0}$. The retention efficiency of $H_3PO_4$ in that range was close to one. The transport of acid mixtures was satisfactorily described by a model based on the extended Nernst-Planck and Donnan equations for $n_F$ not exceeding $n_{Cl,ca,0}$. Among the tested model parameters, most important were: concentration of fixed charges, the porosity-tortuosity coefficient, and the partition coefficient of an undissociated form of $H_3PO_4$. For the both membranes, the obtained optimal values of fixed charge concentration, $\bar{c}_m$, were up to 40% lower than the literature values of $\bar{c}_m$ obtained from the equilibrium measurements. Regarding the $H_3PO_4$ equilibria, it was sufficient to consider $H_3PO_4$ as a monoprotic acid.

지속적인 도농교류의 조건에 관한 관찰 - 일본의 세타가야구(世田谷區)와 가와바촌(川場村) 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the condition for the Sustainable Exchanges Between Cities and Rural Areas - Focused on the case of Setagaya Ward and Gawaba Village in Japan -)

  • This study aims at providing necessary resources in developing the sustainable project of the exchanges between cities and rural areas in Korea. And so I investigated and analyzed the model of the Setagaya Ward and the Gawaba Village in Japan, which has successively continued the exchanges between city and rural areas for thirty years, with the documentation, field work, interviews and field investigation. The two local autonomous entities have promoted the project of the exchanges between cities and rural areas by keeping in touch with a making the second home and linking agriculture with sightseeing. They passed an agreement of mutual help and established regulations to push forward the agreement in order to carry out the agreement. And they have operated a section which will do nothing but focus on this, established a management company which takes charge of the stronghold facilities of the exchange between city and rural areas, operated a caucus to examine the project steadily and to develop new programs, and made a publicity work continually for thirty years. In conclusion, I think we should promote the joint capital stronghold facilities of the exchange between city and rural areas which is based upon the agreements. And we should promote the infrastructure like a management company which takes charge of the facilities and build the proper foundation which can develop the various programs for the exchange between city and rural areas and operate them.
