The purpose of this study was to compare the factors affected on the leisure participation leisure satisfaction and leisure effect of the middle-aged with those of the aged who were paticipated in the leisure program of the public community facilities. the sample of he study consisted of 218 midle-aged and 163 the aged living in Seoul and Daegu. Frequencies means ,$x^2$,T-test and multiple regression were employed for the analysis. The results of this study were as follows; The middle-aged had more positive leisure attitude than the gaged less leisure participation and more leisure satisfaction. The factors affected one he leisure participation of the middle-aged were region and fee and those of the aged were region leisure attitude and fee. The factors affected on the leisure satisfaction of the middle-aged were number of the family region and the access of the transportation as compared with those of the aged were sex health status and the access of transportation. And the factors had effects on the leisure effect of the middle-aged were sex educational attainment number of the family the access of transportation and fee comparing with those of the aged were educational attainment and leisure attitude.

China has the largest number of the user of web 2.0 such as messengers and blogs, as of 2008 year. Chinese Internet digital market will grow from $85 billion in 2007 to $264 billion in 2015. The importance of Chinese Internet business is increasing, because of its size and growth potential. This research is focused on following two questions. First, what are the major characteristics of social networking services in China? In order to find out the answer about this question, the case study on Tencent QQ and Sina Poco, the most representative social networking services company in China, was done. And the reason of the use of social networking services, their contents, and the attitude toward the paid service were identified. Second, what are the major factors influencing the use of social networking services in China. User participation, network effect, usefulness, and system quality were inferred as the factors influencing the use. These factors were based on motivation theory, technology acceptance model, and the related research papers. This research model was proved by data analysis using Partial Least Square. As results, the use of social networking services was influenced by usefulness, network effect, user participation, and system quality. But social influence was not significant of the use of social networking services.

Purpose: This research was conducted to identify major factors that influence competency for nursing students in basic nursing skills. Method: Data were collected by questionnaires from 290 first year students in one college of nursing. The instrument tools included motivation for admission to nursing, concern about fundamentals of nursing, perceived importance of fundamentals of nursing, level of active participation in fundamentals of nursing, number of times to use open Lab, Lab class satisfaction, self-efficacy, self-evaluation and student attitude. Results: There was no significant correlation between competency in basic nursing skills and motivation for admission to nursing, concern about fundamentals of nursing, perceived importance of fundamentals of nursing, or number of times to use open Lab. Competency in basic nursing skill in these students showed a significantly positive correlation to Lab class satisfaction, self-efficacy, self-evaluation, student attitude and level of active participation in fundamentals of nursing. The major factors that influenced competency in basic nursing skills for nursing students were student attitude, self-efficacy and number of times to use open Lab. These factors explained 15.5% of the variance in competency. Conclusion: Basic nursing skill practice education programs should be developed to improve self-efficacy and active participation.
Background: Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women worldwide. Failure to prevent cervical cancer is partly due to non-participation in regular screening. It is important to plan and develop screening programs directed towards underscreened women. In order to identify the factors associated with underscreening for cervical cancer among women, this study examined Pap test participation and factors associated with not having a time-appropriate (within 3 years) Pap test among a representative sample of women in Ontario, Canada using Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) data. Materials and Methods: Univariate analyses, cross-tabulations, and logistic regression modeling were conducted using cross-sectional data from the 2007-2008 CCHS. Analyses were restricted to 13,549 sexually active women aged 18-69 years old living in Ontario, with no history of hysterectomy. Results: Almost 17% of women reported they had not had a time-appropriate Pap test. Not having a time-appropriate Pap test was associated with being 40-69 years old, single, having low education and income, not having a regular doctor, being of Asian (Chinese, South Asian, other Asian) cultural background, less than excellent health, and being a recent immigrant. Conclusions: Results indicate that disparities still exist in terms of who is participating in cervical cancer screening. It is crucial to develop and implement cervical cancer screening programs that not only target the general population, but also those who are less likely to obtain a Pap tests.
The purpose of this study is to analyze convergent effects of team interaction and team metacognition of participants on a continuous participation in the university learning community. We developed 19 items of team interaction and 17 items of team metacognition through literature review. The subjects were 113 students who participated in learning community in A university. The results are as follows. First, team interaction level and team metacognition level can affect a continuous participation in learning community. The higher team interaction is and the lower team metacognition is, the higher continuous participation is. Second, among team interaction factors that affect a continuous participation in learning community, the more number of learning is and the more encouragement of one another is, the higher continuous participation is. But the less participation of members is, the less flow to learning is, and the less learning time is, the lower a continuous participation is. Third, among team metacognition factors that affect a continuous participation in learning community, the more number of learning is, the higher continuous participation is. But the more use of various learning tools is and the more learning time is, the lower continuous participation is. Based on these results, the convergent ways of support for continuous participation in the university learning community are as follows. First, supporting system is needed to induce students to experience the positive atmosphere of learning community by increasing number of learning to facilitate team interaction and urging them to encourage one another. Second, providing the effective utilization method is necessary for students to fully acknowledge the necessity and value of team metacognition activity.
The purpose of the study is to test structural relationship of subjective health, ability to work, participation on economic activity, and life satisfaction among the elderly. Recently, societies have tried to lessen a social burden and alleviate negative perceptions of the elderly through some perspectives such as productive aging and active aging. In these perspectives pay attention to health and social participation to improve quality of life. Subjects were 3,392 elderly people over the age of 65 from 10th Korea Welfare Panel Study. The main results of the study are as follows. First, subjective health, ability to work, and participation on economic activity had a direct effect on life satisfaction among the elderly. Second, subjective health had a statistically significant effect on ability to work and participation on economic activity. Finally, avility to work had a positive effect on participation on economic activity. Based on the results of the analysis, this study suggested that health and work related factors should be considered as the important factors to improve the life satisfaction among the elderly.
This research analyzed determining factors of expenditure for processing fee by targeting trade show participants under a microeconomic approach in order to analyze determining factors of the participations of trade shows. As a result, with regard to the participation fees, income and the level of education seemed to be the socioeconomic factors that positively affected visitors in paying admission fees: and age and gender were negative elements. With regard to the participating businesses, the sales and the corporate history of the businesses were the positive elements to their willingness to pay the participation fees: however, the ratio of male and female personnel turned out to be a negative element in incurring the participation fees. The purchase of ticket was a positive mode-of participation factor to the visitors: however, distance tended to be a negative element for the visitors. For the participating businesses, the number of participation tended to be a positive element: however, distance was a negative one. The positive satisfaction factors that affected visitors' willingness to pay the participation fees included exhibited items, location, and schedules for events of the convention: for the participating businesses, the actual sales at the convention, the effects of advertisement and the level of satisfaction for location tended to play positive parts.
Following the growth of e-Business, there has been a recent increase of interest in promoting Social Business (s-Business) based on Social Network Service(SNS). As the introduction of the Internet brought about the increasing number of its users followed by the growing market of e-Commerce, online games, and e-Learning, the increasing number of SNS users has opened the new markets combining the existing industrial fields with SNS, and it developed into a revenue model beyond the mere sharing of information. Despite such industrial and social environments, understanding of new social business technology from the aspect of business has been insufficient, and the empirical study on participation in the social business has been scant as well. Thus, the main purpose of this study is to investigate the s-Business in detail and to study the factors giving influence to the users' participation in s-Business. This study proposes six variables(Self-Empowerment, Job Relevance, Formation of Social Capital, Relative Advantage, Shared Value, Relationship Specified Investment) and the moderating effects of Psychological Contract as influential factors closely related with s-Business. A total of 362 data from a survey were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). Result showed that all factors with the exception of Job Relevance have meaningful influence on the intention to participate in s-Business. The implication of the findings suggests to compliment limitations of the existing researches, and to prepare the theoretical foundation for promoting s-Business participation in addition to further suggesting directionality from the view point of the users of the social business-relevant studies.
This study investigates risk reduction behavior with risk perception in outdoor wear purchase situations. Data were collected via a questionnaire from 400 consumers between the ages of 20 to 50 residing in Seoul and Kyonggi-do. Data analysis were conducted with SPSS 20 program on the reliability test, factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test. Factor analyses were employed for the participation motivation of mountain climbing activities, risk reduction behavior and risk perception. Five factors were for the participation motivation of mountain climbing activities (health and fitness, external ostentation, achievement and excitement, improvement of climbing skills, and society). Five factors were for risk perception (fashionability loss and social risk, time and convenience loss, economic risk, performance risk, and psychological risk). Five factors were for the risk reduction behavior (interpersonal information sources use, marketer-dominated information sources use, professional information sources use, pre-purchase deliberation/observation/experience, and brand dependence). Three clusters were identified based on the motivation of outdoor activities (the affiliation/display, the health/internal informativeness and low motivation). The participation motivation for mountain climbing activities were varied. Manufacturers should increase efforts to develop products with good qualities at a reasonable cost as well as establish new marketing strategies since the risk of product performance and economic efficiency in the purchase of outdoor wear was a significant consumer perception.
This study examines the change of female labor market structure during the last several decades, focusing the effects of demographic factors such as declining fertility and increasing educational attainment of women. Women of the recent cohort tend to postpone their first marriages, to attain higher levels of education, and to have smaller number of children than women of the old cohort. This demographic trend results in the change of the population compositions in a way that population subgroups with high labor force participation have been increased. In addition, women of each population subgroup supply their labor in the market with higher rate than their old cohort counterparts. The labor force participation rate of highly educated women, and of married women has been increased faster than that of women with low education and of unmarried women. Although childbirth is still one of the most critical barrier for the women's participation, more and more women with young children tend to work for pay than ever before. In spite of the demographic change which is supportive to the increasing labor force participation, the Korean labor market have lost its female participants for the last year of the economic restructuring, reflecting demand-side factors as well as demographic factors are essential to determine the labor force participation of women.
