Purpose: This study empirically validates a research framework encompassing predictors hypothesized to affect the participation in sharing economy on O2O retail platforms. Research design, data, and methodology: The study examines the role of consumers' social capital and consumer citizenship as a net promoter of retail sales increase of sharing economy products. Using a convenience sampling method, this study used a questionnaire survey method to collect data from 400 adult consumers with previous experience of sharing economy who reside in the metropolitan areas of Seoul and Kyonggi Province, Korea. This study applied structural equation modeling to verify the structural relationships proposed as research hypotheses. Results: The study found a significant impact of social capital on sharing economy participation and the impact of consumer citizenship on sharing economy participation in retail settings. This study also confirmed that social identity and corporate image mediated the relationship between social capital (and citizenship) and sharing economy participation. Conclusions: The study results are expected to contribute to further understanding of the sharing economy's key success factors. The study results offer significant strategic implications for retail platform operators and individual retail operators of sharing economy.

An online survey on male and female consumers between the ages of 20 and 50 provided 319 responses that were analyzed using SPSS 20.0. The factor analysis and reliability analysis, cluster analysis, variance analysis, Duncan test, and Chi square test were conducted. The results were: 1) From a result of the factor analysis on consumers' sports leisure participation motives clearly showed factorial structures including social interaction, physical health, and pleasant feeling. 2) Cluster analysis indicated three groups of participation motives in sports and leisure activity such as passive motivating type, social interaction type, and wellness type. 3) Consumer groups showed significant differences in purchase reasons, preferred brands, product items, and pursued performance attributes for purchasing athleisure wear products.

Anonymity is one of the key factors that influence communication and the work behaviours of people. It is even more evident in an online community where the role of anonymity can be akin to a double-edged sword: it can increase participation while at the same time having detrimental effects due to irresponsible and disruptive behaviour. Most studies on anonymous participation in groups or communities have reported this ambivalent view of anonymity: positive or negative. Furthermore, the effects of anonymous participation may be different in a dynamic sense because the task characteristics of participation can vary across time. In this study, we hypothesise that the effects of anonymity in online collaboration differ across the stages of collaboration. We analysed 2,978 featured articles on the English-language Wikipedia website and investigated the contributions of anonymous participants. While the contributions of anonymous participants were negative to collaboration efficiency as a whole, the negative effect of anonymous participants was stronger in the earlier stage than the later stage of collaboration. These findings indicate that the effect of anonymity has two sides in terms of collaboration efficiency in the same collaborative environment.

Leisure acivities are classified in Self-developmental, Home-oriented, Time-consuming, Social and Children-concerned types by the technique of factor analysis. The average particiation level was high in Time-consuming type, but low in Self-developmental type. 2. This study was conducted to assess factors associated with the degree of performance of qualify improvement(QI) activities. A mailed questionnaire survey was conducted between September 15 and October 30, 2000, with the staffs being charge of QI at each of the hospitals with 400 beds or greater. Of the 108 hospitals eligible for inclusion in our study, 79 participated, yielding a response rate of 73.1%. After excluding 12 hospitals that did not perform any QI activities, 117 responses from 67 hospitals were used for the analysis. Using the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria(MBNQAC), perceived performance of QI was measured in terms of the improvement of the quality of clinical practice, clinical supporting department, administrative procedure of receiving care, customer satisfaction, efficiency and standardization of work process. Factors evaluated for the association were the extent of QI implementation, compliance to 5 QI principles, participation of hospital CEOs, budget allocation, history of QI, and bed size. Path analysis was performed to assess the relationship between QI performance and these factors. Major findings of this study are as follows. Hospitals showing higher degree of QI implementation (path coefficient=0.5967, p<0.001)) and better compliance with the basic principes of QI(0.5736, p<0.05) tended to achieve better performance. Path analysis results showed that interest and participation of hospital CEOs(0.1954, p<0.05) and compliance with the basic principes of QI(0.4028, p<0.0001) indirectly affected the outcomes of QI by influencing the intermediate variable of the level of QI implementation. This study results suggest that having employees have a good orientation of the basic concept and principes of QI through relevant training be the most important requirement to achieve better outcomes from QI activities. In addition, to educate leaders of hospitals the need of active implementation of QI is important to encourage their participation and draw strong support for QI programs.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to measure the fatigue of operating room nurses and examine factors contributing to their fatigue. Methods: The subjects of this study were 115 nurses who worked in operating rooms of three hospitals. Data were collected from September 15, 2009 to September 30, 2009. Fatigue and job stress were measured by using the Symptom's Fatigue Scale and the job stress measurement tools in operating room nurses. Results: The mean score of fatigue level was $3.10{\pm}0.61$. We analyzed fatigue according to characteristics of subjects and found that there were significant differences in marital status, number of children and sleeping hours in general characteristics. Career, daily participation hours in the surgery relating to job related characteristics. Significant positive correlations were found between job stress and fatigue(r=.233, p= .012). Three significant variables influencing fatigue of operation rooms nurses were job stress, daily participation hours in the surgery, and sleeping hours (Adj. $R^2$=0.284, F=4.773, p<.001). Conclusion: An integrative care program that takes job stress, daily participation hours in the surgery and sleeping hours into consideration is essential to reduce fatigue in operating room nurses.
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors determining the participation of the poor elderly in economic activity. This study analyzed secondary data of the second wave of Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing. Binary logistic regression was used to identify the factors that are associated with the economic activity of the poor elderly. The results of the analyses showed that age, gender, region, public assistance, education, health status, chronic illness, contacts with acquaintances, and support from children were associated with participation in economic activity. The study's findings have several implications for policies and services. The study identified the need for an age- and gender-specific approach to promoting participation in economic activity among the poor elderly. Regional differences should also be considered in the creation of work opportunities for older adults. In terms of human capital, the positive effect of good health indicates that strategies are needed to address the needs of older adults with health issues. In addition, there is a need for more jobs for elderly job seekers with high levels of education. Finally, policy makers and practitioners should explore interventions for enhancing the social network involvement and community support for the elderly living in poverty.

Nowadays, computer game dependency among adolescents, especially male adolescents, is emerging as a social problem. Therefore, treatment for computer game dependency has become positively necessary. This study aimed at investigating the effects of participation in sociodrama on the students suffering from computer game addiction. For this study, 380 male students in the 8th grade were asked to complete a questionnaire about themselves. After these data had been analyzed using SPSS, eight students were selected as the experimental group. The control group consisted of eight adolescents who were similar to the experimental group in the level of computer game dependency and in the psychological factors such as impulsiveness, depression, and the lack of self-control. The experimental group participated in twelve sociodrama sessions over 11 weeks, whereas the control group did not receive any treatment. The first follow-up test was conducted eleven weeks after the pretest, and the second follow-up test was done nine weeks after the first one. The results indicate that the sociodrama played an important role in alleviating the computer game addiction. At the same time, the participation in sociodrama brought positive changes in the psychological factors of the adolescents.
