4-딥✽ : 캐쉬를 이용한 빠른 4-원 딥 (4-Deap✽ : A Fast 4-ary Deap using Cache)

  • 스케쥴링이나 정렬과 같은 응용에 이용될 수 있는 양단 우선순위 큐는 포인터를 사용하는 것과 포인터를 이용하지 않고 묵시적으로 표현하는 두 가지가 있다. 묵시 자료 구조는 메모리 이용에 있어서 포인터를 사용하는 것보다 효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 캐쉬 메모리를 효율적으로 이용하는 새로운 묵시 양단 우선순위 큐인 4-딥$\ast$를 제안한다. 실험을 통하여, 제안된 4-딥$\ast$가 이진 트리에 근거한 딥뿐만 아니라 대칭 최소-최대 합보다 빠름을 보인다.

  • B2B(business to business) using the WWW have been quickly increased by the advance of the internet. Up to the Present, HTML have been used as the technology for representation of the WWW documents. HTML have a good transplantation and convenience. But HTML have a lot of constraints in the processing of the trade information between enterprises, because HTML use the fixed tag. In recently, a great number of technology appear to improve this problem. XML is one of them. XML published by W3C in 1998 is a standard for representation and interchange of WWW documents. So XML can be applied to interchange of information between enterprises in internet-based B2B. In this paper, we proposed the method for the order processing using the XML, applied the proposed method to 'H' company which product a part of marine engine, and then we implemented the prototype system. we described the effect of application.

MRA 기반 선박 초기설계 해석 시스템 개발 (Development of Initial Ship Design Analysis System Based on MRA)

  • Tight integration between design and analysis processes and the data representation in the ship design application domain have been studied in this paper. Multi-Representation Architecture for design and analysis integration, proposed at Georgia Institute of Technology, has been carefully investigated for the application in the initial ship design stage. The MRA approach facilitates efficient generation of analysis models from the initial ship design data, thus reducing design lead time. Easy generation of analysis model is important because it allows quick analysis iteration under frequent design changes. The SMM, ABB and PBAM are defined for the analysis model of the typical ship structure. Only a part of the typical initial ship design data has been considered in the experimental implementation of the proposed approach. However, the prototype implementation shows that the application of MRA approach in the structural ship design domain is quite feasible. It is also contemplated that the same approach can be extended for other design and analysis views in the ship design domain.

  • Car navigation system is one of the most important applications in telematics. A newest trend of car navigation system is using real video captured by camera equipped on the vehicle, because video can overcome the semantic gap between map and real world. In this paper, we suggest a visual car navigation system that visually represents navigation information or route guidance. It can improve drivers' understanding about real world by capturing real-time video and displaying navigation information overlaid on it. Main services of the visual car navigation system are graphical turn guidance and lane change guidance. We suggest the system architecture that implements the services by integrating conventional route finding and guidance, computer vision functions, and augmented reality display functions. What we designed as a core part of the system is visual navigation controller, which controls other modules and dynamically determines visual representation methods of navigation information according to a determination rule based on current location and driving circumstances. We briefly show the implementation of system.

도형을 이용한 계층구조 표현 방식에 대한 실증적 연구 (A Cognitive Study on the Diagrammatic Representation of Hierarchical Structure)

  • Developing Information Systems is a process of decomposing the entire systems into sub systems and identifying a hierarchical structure among the sub systems. Diagrammatic representation of hierarchy is an essential part of systems development since the identified hierarchical structures are usually presented in diagrams. The main goal of this research is to identify the most effective ways of representing system structures using diagrams. In order to achieve the main goal, this study performed three phases of research. In the first step, a theoretical model was constructed to conceptually explain users' comprehension on diagrams. Then visual factors of diagrammatic representations were identified based on the diagrams used in systems development. Finally, three consecutive experiments were conducted to identify the impacts of visual factors on the level of users' comprehension. The results indicate that familiarity and affordance of diagrams affect the degree of comprehension about the diagrams, which is in turn influenced by the complexity of tasks and the types of hierarchies. This paper concludes with the limitations of the study results and implications in the development of information systems.

  • This paper deals with an automated forming sequence design system by which designers can determine desirable operation sequences even if they have little experience in the design of cold forging process. The forming sequence design in the cold forging is very important and requires many kinds of technical and empirical knowledge. They system isproposed, which generates forming sequence plans for the multistage cold forging of axisymmtrical solid products. Since the process of metal forming can be considered as a transformation of geometry, treatment of the geometry of the product is a key in planning process. To recognize the geometry of the product section, section entity representation and primitive geometries were used. Section entity representation can be used for the calculation of maximum diameter, maximum height, and volume. Forming sequence for the part can be determined by means of primitive geometries such as cylinder, cone, convex, and concave. By utilizing this geometrical characteristics (diameter, height, and radius), the product geometry is expressed by a list of the priitive geometries. Accordingly the forming sequence design is formulated as the search problem which starts with a billet geometry and finishes with a given product one. Using the developed system, the sequence drawing with all dimensions, which includes the proper sequence of operations for the part, is generated under the environment of AutoCAD. Based on the results of forming sequence, process variables(strain, punch pressure, die inner pressure, and forming load) are determined.

  • For the most part of machine design, assembly drawing isaffected byits inserted parts. When a part is inserted in assembly, alreadyd stablished parting line is modified for reasonable representation. for example, break or trim fuction between the lines gives more recognizable drqwing. Most of parts is composed of such that point, line, arc, circle and block. If the part is composed of block, it is very difficult to operate because its attribution is unknown before exploding, but, It is very easy to operate except block. In this paper, it is required that basic feature recognition rules are caused by knowledge-based. This system which shows a good modify tool using AutoCAD system and ADS (Autocad Development System).

  • 본 연구는 철골 건축구조물에 관한 정보의 표현과 교환을 위하여 STEP을 이용한 구조해석 및 설계용 통합 시스템의 모델을 제시한다. 이러한 통합시스템을 구축하기 위하여 철골 구조물 제품모델을 위한 AP 230을 근간으로 기하 및 위상 정보를 나타낼 수 있는 Part 42와 상세한 구조해석을 표현할 수 있는 Part 104을 추가시키고자 한다. 이렇게 함으로서 철골구조물에 관한 종합적인 엔지니어링 정보의 표현을 보다 명확하게 하고 또한 정보의 교환을 보다 쉽게 할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 통합시스템의 개발모델에 따르면 구조물에 관한 상세정보와 시공정보들도 쉽게 추가할 수 있다.

  • Knowledge discovery refers to the overall process of discovering useful knowledge from data. The linear programming model is a special form of useful knowledge that is embedded in a database. Since formulating models from scratch requires knowledge-intensive efforts, knowledge-based formulation support systems have been proposed in the DSS area. However, they rely on the strict assumption that sufficient domain knowledge should already be captured as a specific knowledge representation form. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology that finds useful knowledge on building linear programming models from a database. The methodology consists of two parts. The first part is to find s first-cut model based on a data dictionary. To do so, we applied the GPS algorithm. The second part is to discover a second-cut model by applying neural network technique. An illustrative example is described to show the feasibility of the proposed methodology.
