온도변화에 강인한 EPB 시스템의 퍼지모델 기반 고장검출 방법 (Fuzzy Model-Based Fault Detection Method of EPB System for Varying Temperature)

  • In this paper, a robust fault detection method for varying temperature based on fuzzy model is proposed. To develop a robust force estimation model, it needs temperature information because the output of force sensor is affected by a temperature variation. The nonlinear dynamic system, such as the parking force of the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) system is necessary to have a higher order equation model. But, because of the calculation time, the higher order equation model is hard to be used in real application. In case of the lower order equation model, the result is not as accurate as acceptable. To solve this problem, the robust fuzzy model-based fault detection is developed. A proposed fault detection method for varying temperature is verified by HILS (hardware in the loop simulation).

  • In the beginning of the 21s1 century, the world has been making rapid progress and changed all over the areas. Like the rest, as all domiciliary circumstances for a local development have changed, the continuous development considered environmental view has been accounted as much compared with the high growth-oriented development based on the efficiency so far. As the volume of traffic in urban community increases, the environmental load enlarges inevitably. Particularly, the excess and deficiency problems for all sorts of traffic facilities, like the shortage of parking lots continue to happen in proportion to the increase in traffic. For a design to solve these problems, introduction of the Geographic Information System; GIS applied widely over various fields become necessary. In this research, the supply-demand situation in urban areas is observed. The application of GIS for the purpose of the improvement of parking lot management technique to control effectively facilities related to parking lot in the city brings promoting the efficiency of business data inquiry, data management data correction and so on through graphic and non-graphic database for every kind of draft data, record and register data. The graphic users interface to support effective decision-making is applied for the improvement of work in this study. This research also suggests the way to utilize common database considered linkage with sub-systems related existing urban information system by developing the parking lot management system.

컬러 정보와 퍼지 C-means 알고리즘을 이용한 주차관리시스템 개발 (Developments of Parking Control System Using Color Information and Fuzzy C-menas Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 컬러 정보와 퍼지 c-means 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 인식 방법을 제안하고 차량 번호판 인식을 이용한 주차관리시스템 개발에 대해서 기술한다 컬러 정보와 퍼지 c-means알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 인식 기술은 차량의 영상에서 번호판을 추출하는 부분과 추출한 번호판 영역에서 문자를 인식하는 부분으로 구성된다 본 논문에서는 최빈수 평활화를 이용하여 차량 영상에서 녹색 잡음을 제거하고 RGB컬러에서 녹색 정보와 횐색 정보를 이용하여 번호판 영역을 추출하였다. 추출된 번호판 영역의 코드들은 히스토그램 방법을 이용하여 추출하였고 FCM(Fuzzy c-means) 알고리즘을 이용하여 차량 번호판을 인식하였다. 80개의 실제 차량 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과는 제안된 번호판 영역 추출 방법이 기존의 RGB정보를 이용한 방법과 HSI를 이용한 방법보다 추출율이 개선되었다 그리고 FCM 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 인식이 효율적인 것을 확인하였다. 실험을 통하여 성능 향상을 보인 제안된 차량 번호판 방법을 이용하여 주차관리시스템을 개발하였다.

제주시 거주자우선주차제 문제해결 요소 탐색에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Analyzing Factors to Resolve Problems of Jejusi Residential Parking Permit Program)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제주시에서 운영하고 있는 거주자우선주차제 사례를 통하여 최근 우리나라 지방자치단체에서 주로 채택하고 있는 거주자우선주차제도의 문제점을 찾고, 그에 대한 성공요인을 모색하는 것이다. 제주시는 2005년 10월부터 거주자우선주차제를 시범운영하였고, 2007년 10월부터는 본격적으로 도심 지역에서 실시하고 있다. 그 도입 배경을 보면 첫째, 주택가 이면도로의 무분별한 주차로 인하여 발생할 수 있는 각종 재난사고의 확산 방지로 주민의 안녕 유지, 둘째, 쾌적한 주차환경 조성으로 주민의 생활 영위권 보장을 위한 것이다. 거주자우선주차제 성공을 위한 방안을 물어본 결과 "의사결정시부터 지역주민의 참여가 이루어져야 한다"에 대한 설문에서 '그렇다'와 '매우 그렇다'라고 응답한 비율이 87.5%로 가장 높았다. 가장 우려하는 내용은 "친척들이 방문해도 유로로 주차가 가능하도록 제도를 개선해야 한다"라는 질문에 있었다. 응답자의 36%가 부정적인 의견이었으며 이는 친척들이 무료로 방문할 수 있기를 바라는 마음에서 우려하는 것으로 이해할 수 있겠다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과 특히 중요시해야 할 요소는 "단속을 철저히 해야 한다", "친척들이 방문해도 유료로 주차가 가능하도록 제도를 개선해야 한다", "인근 상권 주민의 매출감소를 해결하는 방안을 마련해야 한다" 등으로 정책적 제언을 하자면 첫째, 단속강화, 둘째, 친지방문을 위한 주차공간 확보, 셋째, 주변 상권에 대한 영향 최소화, 넷째, 소방도로의 기능과 거주자우선주차제와의 조화유도, 다섯째, 주차공급 확보를 위해 회전율 높이기라고 할 수 있다.

차량 비상제동을 위한 전자식 주차 브레이크 제어 시뮬레이터 설계 (Design of Electronic Parking Brake Control Simulator for Emergency Vehicle Braking)

  • In this paper, a simulator hardware and control design for an electronic parking brake (EPB) are proposed for emergency vehicle braking when the hydraulic break and anti-lock brake systems (ABS) fail to function. EPB systems are designed specifically for park braking and are usually installed on the rear wheels. However, in an emergency situation when all vehicle brake systems fail, the EPB can be utilized to stop the vehicle and track the target slip ratio as the ABS. This paper analyzed the non-linear EBP of the type of motor on caliper (MoC) based on experiments. A simulator hardware is also designed to validate the performance of the designed EPB controller in terms of braking distance and performance in tracking the target slip ratio. Through the experimental analysis, it is confirmed that a sliding mode controller can be applied on a non-linear EPB to track the target slip ratio.

열차자동운전에 있어서 미지의 주행저항을 고려한 강인한 속도제어 (The Robust Speed Control on Automatic Train Operation Considering Unknown Running Resistance)

  • An automatic train operation(ATO) system executes the operation of constant speed travelling and fixed point parking by using microprocessors instead of driver's manual operation. This paper describes the mathematical model for the train considering unknown disturbances which consist of start resistance, travelling resistance, slope resistance, curve resistance, and so on. The speed controller of ATO system is designed by considering the disturbances. The simulation is executed to verify the speed control and fixed point parking performance and to compare its performance with that of a PID-type ATO control system under disturbances. Simulation results show that the control performance of gain scheduled control scheme for ATO system is better than that of the conventional PID controller.

  • Customers want to have more convenient and comfortable vehicle. Motor-on-caliper EPB(Electrical Parking Brake) System is one of the new systems for customer's convenience. It is applied for Midsize vehicle for reducing weight/price compared to cable puller type EPB. In this paper we studied sound quality improvement of motor-on-caliper EPB system. We developed the sound quality index and suggested the interior sound quality target value. To meet the target value cascading target was also suggested. EPB motor vibration level & sound radiation level, vibro-acoustic transfer function level from EPB to interior was defined. To find out effective way of sound quality improvement and find cascading target, TPA(Transfer Path Analysis) was carried out.

  • This paper proposes a classification method of parallel, vertical parking states and pillars for parking assist system using ultrasonic sensors. Since, in general parking space detection module, the compressed amplitude of ultrasonic data are received, the analysis of them is difficult. To solve these problems, in preprocessing state, symmetric transform and noise removal are performed. In feature extraction process, four features, standard deviation of distance, reconstructed peak, standard deviation of reconstructed signal and sum of width, are proposed. Gaussian fitting model is used to reconstruct saturated peak signal and discriminability of each feature is measured. To find the best combination among these features, multi-class SVM and subset generator are used for more accurate and robust classification. The proposed method shows 92 % classification rate and proves the applicability to parking space detection modules.

  • This paper develops a novel automatic parking algorithm based on a fuzzy logic controller with the vehicle pose for the input and the steering rate for the output. It localizes the vehicle by using only external sensors - a vision sensor and ultrasonic sensors. Then it automatically learns an optimal fuzzy if-then rule set from the training data, using an evolutionary fuzzy system. Furthermore, it also finds the green zone for the ready-to-reverse position in which parking is possible just by reversing. It has been tested on a 4-wheeled Pioneer mobile robot which emulates the real vehicle.

  • Energy efficiency and indoor air quality have become main issue to develop healthy and sustainable building in these days. As an effort to reduce the energy consumption in multi-residential building, many attempts as like passive design strategies and renewable energy as well as active control method are tried. However, underground parking lot in multi-residential building seldom adopt the sustainable strategies and only mechanical system is installed as usual. Moreover, the mechanical system installed in underground parking lot is rarely operated due to the electric demand for operation after completion. In this study, as an energy efficient measure, natural ventilation system using stack effect as a driving force for underground parking lot will be proposed and the performance of the suggested system will be analyzed by simulation method.
