  • In this study, we analyzed what factors parents have on the SW education willingness for the child. In order to design a structured model, we set the configuration of five variables; child's SW interest, recognition of SW policy, importance of SW competency, child's SW profession and willingness of SW education. We surveyed the parents who their children have SW education experiences. According to the results, mediating factors on parental commitment to their child's SW education was recognized SW-related jobs. • The major purpose of this research was to explore the mediating effects of ego-resiliency between parent communication style and stress coping styles in adolescence. The subjects who participated in this study included 247 high school students from Gyeong-gi province. They completed questionnaires on parent-adolescent communication, ego-resilience, and stress coping styles using the cognitive appraisal model by Lazarus & Folkman(1984). Data were analyzed by t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. It was found that parent-adolescence communication as well as ego-resilience had significant effects on stress coping styles. In particular, female teenagers showed evidence that ego-resilience had complete mediation over relationships between a parent's communication styles and their stress coping styles.

Disposal about experimental group executed the emotional intelligence development program for the humanity education of Moon - yong - lin(1999) and the emotional intelligence development program which was reconstructed guidance for elementary school children of Her - seung - hee (2004) as the level of elementary school for 50 minutes, 16times, twice a week. In order to verify the effects after experiment, 1 collected materials for estimation by providing the subject children with questionaries about emotional intelligence and the ability of school life adaptation before and after the experiment, and then analyzed the average differences in number of marks between the experiment group and the control group before and after the experiment through and by using One-Way ANOVA, and SPSS WIN 12.0 program. • This study analyze the intergenerational transmission of poverty in Korea, using the first wave of Korea Welfare Panel Study. For this analysis, I produced poverty transition tables across generation and estimated logistic models to explore the effects of parent's poverty on the children's adulthood poverty. As the results, I found that parent's poverty reduced children's education level and then the low education level increased the likelihood that children experience poverty in their adulthood. In other words, parent's poverty might increase children's adulthood poverty through the mediating effects of education level. This mediating effects were also identified in the analyses by group and cohort. From the analyses by group, daughters rather than sons, those from urban rather than rural area, and the older cohort rather than younger cohort showed greater intergenerational transmission of poverty.
