병렬 프로그램 실행을 위한 ELI 기반 동적 부하 균등화 (An ELI-based Dynamic Load Balancing for Parallel Program Executions)

  • 본 논문에서 분산 시스템의 각 노드들은 노드들간에 주기적으로 교환되는 시스템 상태 정보를 히스토리에 저장하고, 그 히스토리 정보에 Newton의 후향 보간법의 5차 보간 다항식을 사용하여 다음 주기의 예측 부하 지수(ELI)를 계산한다. 계산되어진 ELI를 동적 부하 균등화 시스템의 로케이션 정책에 이용하였다. 그 결과 ELI 기반 동적 부하 균등화 시스템은 기존의 부하 균등화 알고리즘에 비해 성능이 우수함을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents the modeling and simulation studies, using PSCAD/EMTDC, for the operation of DR(Distributed Resources) connected to the power system. In this study, we model the DR operated in parallel with the distribution system and simulate several operation modes of DR.   • This paper represents that auto tunings of membership functions and weights in the fuzzy neural networks are effectively performed by immune algorithm. A number of hybrid methods in fuzzy-neural networks are considered in the context of tuning of learning method, a general view is provided that they are the special cases of either the membership functions or the gain modification in the neural networks by genetic algorithms. On the other hand, since the immune network system possesses a self organizing and distributed memory, it is thus adaptive to its external environment and allows a PDP (parallel distributed processing) network to complete patterns against the environmental situation. Also, it can provide optimal solution. Simulation results reveal that immune algorithms are effective approaches to search for optimal or near optimal fuzzy rules and weights.

  • In this paper auto-tuning scheme of PID controller based on the reference model has been studied for a Process control system by immune algorithm. Up to this time, many sophisticated tuning algorithms have been tried in order to improve the PID controller performance under such difficult conditions. Also, a number of approaches have been proposed to implement mixed control structures that combine a PID controller with fuzzy logic. However, in the actual plant, they are manually tuned through a trial and error procedure, and the derivative action is switched off. Therefore, it is difficult to tune. Since the immune system possesses a self organizing and distributed memory, it is thus adaptive to its external environment and allows a PDP (Parallel Distributed Processing) network to complete patterns against the environmental situation. Simulation results reveal that reference model basd tuning by immune network suggested in this paper is an effective approach to search for optimal or near optimal process control.

  • When an underground pipeline runs parallel with DC traction systems, it suffers from DC traction interference. Because the train is fed by the substation through the overhead wire and return current back to the substation via the rails. If these return rails are poorly insulated from earth, DC current leak into the earth and can be picked up by nearby pipeline. It may bring about large-scale accidents even in cathodically protected systems. In this paper we analyze the influence on lead wire method of distributed ICCP(impressed current cathodic protection) systems for mitigation of DC traction interference using the simulation software CatPro.

  • This paper proposes a modeling and simulation process of a panel production line (PPL) in a shipyard. The panel production line is an assembly process to produce a main panel of a flat block and a curved block. In this paper, its activity analysis is carried out using expression of IDEF0, and its process is qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed and modeled by Petri Nets. A commercial discrete event simulation tool, $QUEST^{TM}$, is used for virtual PPL and simulation. The modeling results by Petri Net are mapped to elements of the simulation tool. Finally, an integrated simulation environment of PPL is implemented in order to efficiently utilize the virtual PPL model. With the help of IDEF0 and Petri Nets, we could systematically analyze and describe the PPL process that are characterized as being concurrent, asynchronous, distributed, parallel, nondeterministic, and/or stochastic. Also, the dynamic and concurrent activities of a PPL system were able to be simulated. A timing concept can be included into the Petri nets model to evaluate performance and dependability issues of the system.

  • 병렬 컴퓨팅에 있어 NP-complete 문제인 태스크 할당문제에 대한 두 가지 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 제시한다. 할당문제는 분산 메모리 멀티컴퓨터의 멀티 프로세싱 노드에 다중통신 태스크들을 최적의 매핑을 찾는 것이다. 태스크들을 목표 시스템 구조의 노드들에 매핑시키는 목적은 해법 품질에 손상 없이 병렬 실행시간을 최소화하기 위함이다. 많은 휴리스틱 기법들이 만족한 매핑을 얻기 위해 채택되어 왔다. 본 논문에서 제시되는 휴리스틱 기법은 유전자 알고리즘(GA)과 시뮬레이티드 어닐링(SA) 기법에 기반을 둔다. 매핑 설정을 위한 총 계산 비용으로 목적함수를 수식화하고 휴리스틱 알고리즘들의 성능을 평가한다. 랜덤, 그리디, 유전자, 어닐링 알고리즘들을 사용하여 얻은 해법의 품질과 시간을 비교한다. 할당 알고리즘 시뮬레이션 연구를 통한 실험적 결과를 보여준다.

A Droop Method for High Capacity Parallel Inverters Considering Accurate Real Power Sharing

  • This paper presents DG based droop controlled parallel inverter systems with virtual impedance considering the unequal resistive-inductive combined line impedance condition. This causes a reactive power sharing error and dynamic performance degradation. Each of these drawbacks can be solved by adding the feedforward term of each line impedance voltage drop or injecting the virtual inductor. However, if the line impedances are high enough because of the long distance between the DG and the PCC or if the capacity of the system is large so that the output current is very large, this leads to a high virtual inductor voltage drop which causes reductions of the output voltage and power. Therefore, the line impedance voltage drops and the virtual inductor and resistor voltage drop compensation methods have been considered to solve these problems. The proposed method has been verified in comparison with the conventional droop method through PSIM simulation and low-scale experimental results.

  • This paper describes a design and performance evaluation of robust controller which overrides unstable motion and pulls out quickly after water entry of underwater vehicle dropped from aircraft or surface ship. We use 6-DOF equation for model of motions and assume parameter uncertainty to reflect the difference of real motion from modelled motion equation. we represent a nonlinear system with uncertainty as Takagi and Sugeno's(T-S) fuzzy models and design controller stabilizing them. The fuzzy controller utilizes the concept of so-called parallel distributed compensation (PDC). Finally, we confirm stability and performance of the controller through computer simulation and hardware in the loop simulation (HILS).
