FIELD DATA를 이용한 진동시험 규격화 방안 (Packaging Vibration Specification Based on Field Data)

  • We used recording device(EDR-3) to monitor the packages and the vehicle during shipment. Provided we did this enough times, we began to gain statistically valid information which could be used to describe the particular channel of distribution. The event was obviously changed from trip to trip, but in general we could have an idea of what to expect. Considerable amount of time and money were invested to record field data. Although not ideal, it was the best suited approach to gain information regarding a specific distribution channel. Based on the recorded field data, we could make our own packaging vibration testing specification through MIL-STD-810D(Guidance for development of laboratory dynamic test specification). This test specification was proved several times through field tests. As a result, we gained confidence in this revised vibration specification and come to know the development procedures of a laboratory dynamic test specification.

절화류의 포장규격에 관한 연구 (A Research on Standard Dimensions for Fresh Cut Flower Packages)

  • Increasement of total cost during distribution chain requires packaging standardization to reduce extra handling and delays at transshipment point. In Korea, high valued agricultural products to export are most often shipped by air freight. Fresh flowers, in particular, the need to set package standard for air palletization are strongly recommended. This study tried to find an optimum standard dimensions for export packages. After extensive research on combinations of various flower dimensions, package dimensions and pallet sizes, we found that 96 inches pallet was most adequate for international air freight. Based on the results, new 40 standard package dimensions were introduced and stacking efficiencies were calculated.

Effects of Sinusoidal Vibration Fatigue on Compression Strength of Corrugated Fiberboard Container for Packaging of Fruits

  • The compression strength of corrugated fiberboard containers for packaging the agricultural products rapidly decreases because of various environmental conditions during distribution of unitized products. Among various environmental conditions, the main factors affecting the compression strength of corrugated fiberboard are absorption of moisture, long-term accumulative load, and fatigue caused by shock and vibration. An estimated rate of damage for fruit during distribution is about 30~40% owing to the shock and vibration. This study was carried out to characterize the durability of corrugated fiberboard containers for packaging the fruits and vegetables under simulated transportation environment. After the packaging freight was vibrated at various experimental conditions, the compression test for the packaging was performed. The compression strength of corrugated fiberboard containers decreased with loading weight and vibration time. The multiple nonlinear regression equation ($R^2$ = 0.9198) for predicting the decreasing rate of compression strength of corrugated fiberboard containers were developed using four independent variables such as input acceleration level, input frequency, loading weight and vibration time.

Research on Consumer Behavioral Intention in Express Packaging Recycling

  • Purpose: With the rapid development of China's e-commerce industry, the express delivery industry is also advancing by leaps and bounds. While express brings convenience to people's life, a large number of express packages are disposed of at will, which not only increases a large amount of domestic waste, but also causes environmental pollution and waste of resources. Therefore, express packaging recycling has become a consensus in all fields of society. Research design, data and methodology:According to the characteristics of express packaging recycling, other variables were introduced into the TPB model proposed by AJZEN, and based on previous literature research and research assumptions, a model of influencing factors of consumer behavior in express packaging recycling was constructed. Results: The results show that in addition to reward factors, other factors have a significant positive impact on the respondents' willingness to recycling. Conclusions: In order to enhance consumers' willingness to recycle express delivery and effectively carry out express packaging recycling, the following suggestions are put forward: the government should formulate a comprehensive express delivery recycling policy, strengthen policy publicity, and standardize consumers' express packaging recycling behavior. Improve consumers' awareness of express packaging recycling, and promote the increase in the scale of express packaging recycling.

슈퍼칠링 유통을 위한 포장광어 (Paralichthys Olivaceus)의 유통기한 설정 연구 (Determination of Shelf-life of a Packaged Paralichthys Olivaceus for Super-chilled Distribution)

  • 유통과정에서 균질한 저온을 유지하는 것은 식품의 유통기한을 결정하는 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나인 미생물 증식을 억제하는 핵심 기술이다. 신선수산물의 전과정에서 정확하고 적절한 온도관리가 보장되었을 때 높은 품질의 신선 제품을 소비자에게 공급할 수 있다. 이 논문은 슈퍼칠링 신선수산식품의 상업성을 확인하기 위하여 포장된 신선 광어(Paralichthys Olivaceus) 의 유통기한을 연구한 것이다. 유통기한 측정을 위하여 중량, 대장균 등 세균수, pH, 관능검사, 색상, 휘발성 염기질소 등이 조사되었다. 연구결과, 휘발성염기질소를 기준으로 슈퍼칠링 온도(0±1℃)에서의 유통기한이 6일인데 비하여 일반 냉장온도 (8±2℃)의 경우 1일에 불과하여 슈퍼칠링 유통의 가능성을 보여주었다. 상업화 추진을 위해서는 소비자 신뢰도를 높이고 경제성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 슈퍼칠링 기법과 포장시스템에 대한 추가적인 포장방법 연구가 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

절화 수출용 T형 포장상자 개발 (Development of Trapezoid type Container for the Export Packaging of Cut-Flowers)

  • In order to improve cut-flower export packaging on the distribution process, newly developed T-type(trapezoid type) container was tested and evaluated on the viewpoints of the protection, workability, and economics. T-type container performed better in protection and workability comparing to 0201 and modified 0201 type containers. Especially, load efficiency of T-type container was 33 percent higher than others, indicating that total distribution costs from Korea to Japan can be saved up to 1.7million dollars per year. T-type container is also advantageous because of its superior display performance and environmentally friendly design. We recommend that T-type container is suitable for most of cut-flowers which are usually horizontally packed such as roses, chrysanthemums, and lilies.

깐밤의 포장기술에 관한 연구 (Studies on Freshable Packaging of Peeled Chestnuts)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how can we keep the freshness of peeled chestnuts in distribution process. The 30 minutes impregnation treatment at the preservation solution of 0.3% consistency showed a good result. The solution treatment prevented from surface yellowing and quality degradation of peeled chestnuts. And, in vaccum packaging after treating chemicals surface drying was faster than the other packaging from 7th day. A vitamin C treatment was no effective to restrain the growth of microbials.

국내산 및 일본산 천일염의 패키징 디자인 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis of Packaging Design of Solar Salts Produced in Korea and Japan)

  • 본 연구는 국내와 일본에서 판매하는 소금 중 본 연구의 주 관심 대상인 천일염의 패키지 디자인 요소에 해당되는 포장재별 용량에 따른 형태와 패키지 색채 및 그래픽을 비교분석하였다. 국내산 천일염과 일본산 천일염의 패키지 디자인의 형태와 비주얼 요소들을 비교, 분석한 결과, 형태는 용량에 따라 구분이 명확하게 나타났다. 국내산 천일염은 다양한 재질과 형태의 디자인을 적용하는 반면 일본산 천일염의 경우 300 g미만은 플라스틱 소재의 스탠드 파우치형을 적용하고 300 g이상은 플라스틱 소재의 파우치형을 적용하는 것으로 나타났다. 국내산 천일염은 용량에 관계없이 플라스틱 소재의 스탠딩 파우치형을 많이 적용하고 있고 스탠딩 파우치는 개폐방식이 지퍼식으로 되어 있어서 보관이나 사용면에서 편의성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 비주얼 요소에서 색상과 그래픽을 비교 분석한 결과, 국내산 천일염은 미네랄이 풍부하고 신안지역 섬에서 생산한다는 지역적인 특성을 살려 구체적인 염전과 염부의 그래픽을 많이 애용하고 있다. 따라서 바다의 상징적인 그래픽을 적용하는 일본과는 차별화가 뚜렷하고 색상에 있어서도 소금을 상징하는 흰색을 주조색으로 적용하고 있다. 염전과 갯벌에서 연상되는 흰색과 갈색을 통해 천일염만의 독특한 아이덴티티 색상을 나타냈다.
