  • 본 논문에서는 P2P를 사용한 방송모델을 소개한다. P2P 기술을 이용한 릴레이식 방송모델 시스템을 실질적으로 설계, 구현한다. 현재의 네트워크 인프라를 통해 서버-클라이언트 방송모델의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 방송모델의 구현을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문의 P2P를 이용한 릴레이식 방송 기술을 이용하여 실질적으로 인터넷 방송에 사용 할 수 있게 최적화된 시스템을 도출하고 그것을 통해 품질 높은 방송 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 기존의 서버-클라이언트 방송 모델에서의 여러 문제점 특히 다수의 사용자가 접속 시 접속 거부 또는 저 품질의 방송을 내보내는 현상을 P2P 기술을 통해 작업을 분담함으로써 접속자 수와 관계없이 방송 품질을 유지하고 인터넷 방송에서 품질에 대한 신뢰성을 유지 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축한다.

Effects of Tween 80 on In Vitro Fermentation of Silages and Interactive Effects of Tween 80, Monensin and Exogenous Fibrolytic Enzymes on Growth Performance by Feedlot Cattle

  • The effects of monensin, Tween 80 and exogenous fibrolytic enzymes on ruminal fermentation and animal performance were studied in vitro and in vivo. In Expt 1, the effects of the surfactant Tween 80 (0.2% wt/wt, DM basis) on ruminal fermentation of alfalfa, corn and orchardgrass silages were investigated using in vitro gas production techniques. Tween 80 did not affect (p>0.05) cumulative gas production at 24 h, but it reduced (p<0.05) the lag in fermentation of all three silages. With corn silage and orchardgrass silage, gas production rates and concentrations of total volatile fatty acids (VFA) were increased (p<0.05) by Tween 80; with alfalfa silage, they were reduced (p<0.05). Tween 80 increased (p<0.05) the proportion of propionate in total VFA, and reduced (p<0.05) acetate to propionate ratios (A:P) with all three silages. In Expt 2, exogenous fibrolytic enzymes (E; at 0, 37.5 or 75 g/tonne DM), monensin (M; at 0 or 25 ppm and Tween 80 (T; at 0 or 2 L/tonne DM) were added alone or in combination to backgrounding and finishing diets fed to 320 crossbred steers in a feeding trial with a $3{\times}2{\times}$2 factorial arrangement of treatments. The backgrounding and finishing diets contained barley grain and barley silage in ratios of 57.8:42.2 and 93.5:6.5 (DM basis), respectively. Added alone, none of the additives affected DM intake (p>0.1) in the backgrounding or in the finishing period, but interactive $M{\times}T$ effects were observed in the finishing period (p=0.02) and overall (p=0.04). In the finishing period, T without M tended to reduce DM intake (p=0.11), but T with M increased (p=0.05) DM intake. Monensin increased average daily gain (ADG) during backgrounding (p=0.07) and finishing (p=0.01), and this ionophore also improved overall feed efficiency (p=0.02). Warm carcass weight was increased (p<0.001) by M, but dressing percentage was reduced (p=0.07). In the backgrounding period, T increased ADG by 7% (p=0.06). Enzymes increased (p=0.07) ADG by 5 and 6% (low and high application rates, respectively) during backgrounding, but did not affect (p>0.10) ADG during finishing, or overall feed efficiency. Whereas T enhanced the positive effects of M on ADG during backgrounding (p=0.04) and overall (p=0.05), it had no impact (p>0.1) on the effects of E. Interactions between M and T suggest that the surfactant may have potential for enhancing the positive effects of monensin on beef production, but this requires further research.

중국조선족 뇌졸중환자의 인지기능의 다면적 분석비교 (Comparing Multidimensional Analysis Methods in Cognitive Function of Korean-Chinese Stroke Patients in China)

  • Purpose: This study was to explore the cognitive function of Korean-Chinese stroke patient in China. Method: The study sample was 100 who were possible to communicate and agreed. The data were collected from one Brain's hospital at Yanji in China and by trained nurse from December 12, 2005 to April 28, 2006. The measurement tools were Digit span, Trail making, and MMSE-K. The data were analysed by SPSS Win 11.5 using frequency, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The mean score of DSF was 5.07, 3.42 of DSB, 161.37 of TMA, 229.28 of TMB, 22.64 of MMSE-K. There was a significant difference in DSF (F=6.35, p=.001), DSB (F=6.10, p=.001), TMA (F=3.53, p=.018), TMB (F=3.26, p=.025), MMSE-K score (F=12.97, p=.000) according to age, and DSF (F=6.67, p=.000), DSB (F=6.01, p=.000), TMA (F=5.82, p=.001), TMB (F=6.23, p=.001), and MMSE-K score (F=13.02, p=.000) according to educational level, and DSF (F=5.35, p=.006), DSB (F=3.16, p=.047), TMA (F=3.30, p=.041), TMB (F=3.42, p=.037), and MMSE-K score (F=4.95, p=.009) according to duration of disease, and DSB (F=3.54, p=.018), and MMSE-K (F=6.05, p=.001) according to frequencies of hospitalization. There was high correlation between DSF and DSB (r=.581, p=.000), TMA and TMB (r=.936, p=.000), MMSE-K and DSF (r=.579, p=.000), MMSE-K and DSB (r=.591, p=.000), DSF and TMA (r=.727, p=.000), and DSF and TMB (r=.721, p=.000). Conclusion: The cognitive evaluation score of Korean-Chinese stroke patients in China was in normal limit. The age, educational level, duration of disease and income were significant demographic characteristic affecting cognitive function. Further study need to compare the cognitive function of Korean-Chinese stoke patients in China and stoke patients in Korea.

Depression of L-type $Ca^{2+}$ and Transient Outward $K^+$ Currents in Endotoxin-treated Rat Cardiac

  • Decreased cardiac contractility occurs in endotoxicosis, but little is known about the ionic mechanism responsible for myocardial dysfunction. In this study, we examined the changes in $Ca{2+}$ and $K^+$ currents in cardiac myocytes from endotoxin-treated rat. Ventricular myocytes were isolated from normal and endotoxemic rats (ex vivo), that were treated for 10 hours with Salmonella enteritidis lipopolysaccharides (LPS; 1.5 mg/kg) intravenously. Normal cardiac myocytes were also incubated for 6 hours with 200 ng/ml LPS (in vitro). L-type $Ca{2+}$ current $(I_{Ca,L})$ and transient outward $K^+$ current $(I_{to})$ were measured using whole cell patch clamp techniques. Peak $I_{Ca,L}$ was reduced in endotoxemic myocytes (ex vivo; 6.00.4 pA/pF, P<0.01) compared to normal myocytes (control; 10.90.6 pA/pF). Exposure to endotoxin in vitro also attenuated $I_{Ca,L}$ (8.40.4 pA/pF, P<0.01). The amplitude of $(I_{to})$ on depolarization to 60 mV was reduced in endotoxin treated myocytes (16.51.5 pA/pF, P<0.01, ex vivo; 20.00.9 pA/pF, P<0.01 , in vitro) compared to normal myocytes (control; 24.71.0 pA/pF). There was no voltage shift in steady-state inactivation of $I_{Ca,L}$ and $(I_{to})$ between groups. These results suggest that endotoxin reduces $Ca{2+}$ and $K^+$ currents of rat cardiac myocytes, which may lead to cardiac dysfunction.

  • 3-(2-thenoyl) 3-(p-NO2-phenylhydrazone) ethyl pyruvate(I), p-Br(II) 및 p-CH3(III)의 에탄올 용액의 전자흡수 스펙트럼을 조사하여 스펙트럼이 전자 전이에 해당하는 4개의 흡수띠로 구성되어 있음을 알았다. 이들 화합물의 pK 값을 분광광도법 및 pH 측정법으로 조사한 결과, 화합물(I)의 변색 범위는 페놀프탈레인과 유사한 8~10으로, 산-염기 지시약으로 사용될 수 있음을 알았다. 몇 가지 전이원소 (Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), UO2(II), La(III) 및 Zr(IV))와 이들 화합물과의 연속안정도상수를 pH 법으로 조사하여 본 결과, 모든 금속과 몰 비 1:1 및 1:2 (M: L)의 화학양론적 착물을 형성하며, 세 가지 유도체의 pK 값과 착물의 안정도 상수(log K)의 순서는 III > II > I 임을 알았다. 또한 전도도법 적정을 수행하여 이 적정이 금속이온과 리간드를 정량하는데 사용할 수 있음을 알았다.

Effects of pH, $PCO_2$, and Adenosine on the Contractility of Pig Coronary Artery

  • Effects of pH, $PCO_2$, and adenosine on the vascular contractility were investigated in the pig coronary arteries. The helical strips of isolated coronary arteries were immersed in the HEPES or $HCO_3^-/CO_2$-buffered Tyrode's solution equilibrated with 100% $O_2\;or\;95%\;O_2-5%\;CO_2\;at\;35^{\circ}C$. The contraction was recorded isometrically using a force transducer. The amplitudes of contraction induced by ACh, high $K^+$, and electrical Held stimulation (EFS) were decreased by elevating extracellular pH (pHo) and were increased by lowering pHo. A shift from $0%\;CO_2\;to\;5%\;CO_2$ at constant pHo (pH 7.4) reduced the contractions induced by ACh, high $K^+$, EFS. However the contraction induced by 100mM $K^+$ was less influenced by the change of pHo or $CO_2$. The contraction induced by ACh in $Ca^{2+}$free Tyrode's solution as well as the contraction developed by the addition of extracellular of $Ca^{2+}$ were decreased by lowering pHo and were increased by elevating pHo. High $K^+$ (25mM) induced contraction at pH 6.8 was not returned to the level of the contraction at pH 7.4 by the elevation of extracellular. calcium $[Ca^{2+}]_o$. Adenosine-induced relaxation was more significant with 5% $CO_2$ than 0% $CO_2$ in the high $K^+$-induced contraction and was more significant with low pHo than high pHo in the contraction induced by EFS. From the above results, it is suggested that $H^+$ and $CO_2$ inhibit $Ca^{2+}$ influx as well as $Ca^{2+}$ release from intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ storage sites and enhance the relaxing effect of adenosine in the pig coronary artery.

호알칼리성 Bacillus속 B-17의 형질전환조건 (Conditions for Transformation of Alkalophilic Bacillus sp. K-17)

  • Cloning을 위한 host와 vector의 이용 가능성을 타진하기 위해 호알칼리성 Bacillus속 K-17을 host로, pUB110과 pBD64를 vector로 사용하여 Bacillus속 K-17의 protoplast 형질전환조건을 검토하였다. 원형질체의 형성은 200$\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$의 Iysozyme 을 처리하였으며, 원형질체 형성의 최적 온도, PH및 배양시간은 각각 4$0^{\circ}C$, 7.0 및 4시간으로 나타났다. 원형질체는 DM3 재생배지에서 재생시켰으며 0.8% agar, 0.5M sodium succinate 농도에서 가장재생이 좋았다. 형질전환시 PEG의 농도는 40%(w/v) PEG 6,000 30%(v/v)가 최적으로 나타났다. 형질전환체의 특성을 조사한 결과, plasmid 안정성은 pUB110이 pBD64보다 더 안정하였으며, 최대 효소활성은 비슷하였지만 효소 분비시간은 pUB110 은 2.5일, pBD64의 경우는 3일로 Bacillus속 K-17의 2일에 비해 약간 지연되었다.

  • Let k be a global field of characteristic unequal to two. Let $C:y^2=f(x)$ be a nonsingular projective curve over k, where f(x) is a quartic polynomial over k with nonzero discriminant, and K = k(C) be the function field of C. For each prime spot p on k, let ${\hat{k}}_p$ denote the corresponding completion of k and ${\hat{k}}_p(C)$ the function field of $C{\times}_k{\hat{k}}_p$. Consider the map $$h:Br(K){\rightarrow}{\prod\limits_{\mathfrak{p}}}Br({\hat{k}}_p(C))$$, where p ranges over all the prime spots of k. In this paper, we explicitly describe all the constant classes (coming from Br(k)) lying in the kernel of the map h, which is an obstruction to the Hasse principle for the Brauer groups of the curve. The kernel of h can be expressed in terms of quaternion algebras with their prime spots. We also provide specific examples over ${\mathbb{Q}}$, the rationals, for this kernel.

Effect of the Ratio of Raw Material Components on the Physico-chemical Characteristics of Emulsion-type Pork Sausages

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of raw material ratio on the physicochemical characteristics of emulsion-type pork sausages. Experiment design was divided into 12 treatments, based on protein level (P), fat level (3P, 3.5P, and 4P), and water level (4P+10, 4P+15, 4P+20, and 4P+25). The pH and shear force values were significantly higher in T7 (3.5P fat and 4P+20 water) than those of other treatments. The lightness and redness were greatly reduced by increasing the quantity of water. The treatments containing 3P fat and 4P+20 water had the highest values of cohesiveness, springiness, gumminess, and chewiness. On the whole, when the protein (P) and fat (3P, 3.5P, 4P) levels were fixed, an increase over the appropriate moisture level deteriorated many physicochemical characteristics.

다양한 식물들을 이용한 Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogens, Mannhemia haemolytica 및 Salmonella gallinarum 항균 추출물 탐색 (Screening of Antibacterial Activity Against to Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogens, Mannhemia haemolytica and Salmonella gallinarum using Different Plant Extracts)

  • Antibacterial activity is an important feature for the development of antibiotics alternatives. Plant extract is considered as a promising alternative for organic farming. In this study, a total of 11 plants were extracted using ethanol to determine their antibacterial activities against to Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogens, Mannheimia haemolytica and Salmonella gallinarum. The synergistic interaction among plant extracts was also investigated. Plants used in this study were Carthamus nctoricus L. (pA), Poncirus trifollata Raf. (pB), Scutellaria balcalensis Georgi (pC) Prunus sargentii (pD), Cucurbita moschata $D_{UCH}$ Leaf (pE), Allium cepa L. peel (pF) Portulaca oleracea L. (pG), Xanthium strumarium L. (pH), Duchesnea chrysantha (pI), Cudrania tricuspidata (pJ) and Juniperus chinensis L. (pK). The pB and pA had the most broad antibacterial spectrum and the highest activity against to Staph. aureus among plant extract, respectively. In the synergistic interaction, the mixtures of pA and pC as well as pA and pF had batter antibacterial activity against to Staph. Aureus compared with other mixtures.
