목질계 셀룰로오스 에탄올 생산공정에서 전처리과정의 설계 (Design of Pretreatment Process in Cellulosic Ethanol Production)

  • 차세대 바이오에탄올로 주목받고 있는 목질계 바이오매스를 이용한 셀룰로오스 에탄올 생산과정은 셀룰로오스를 단당류로 분해하는 전처리과정이 가장 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 산가수분해와 효소당화과정을 이용하여 볏짚, 톱밥, 복사지, 신문지 등과 같은 목질계 바이오매스로부터 셀룰로오스에탄올을 제조하였다. 전처리과정으로 10~30 wt% 황산을 이용한 산가수분해($100^{\circ}C$, 1 h), celluclast ($55^{\circ}C$, pH = 5.0), AMG ($60^{\circ}C$, pH = 4.5), spirizyme ($60^{\circ}C$, pH = 4.2)을 이용한 효소당화과정(30 min), 산가수분해 후 효소당화과정을 비교하였다. 전처리과정의 수율은 hybrid 과정 > 산가수분해 > 효소당화 순으로 셀룰로오스 에탄올로의 전환이 잘 이루어지는 것으로 나타났으며, 최적 발효시간은 2일이었다. 또한 20 wt% 황산을 이용한 산가수분해 후 celluclast를 이용하여 효소당화를 수행할 경우 톱밥 > 볏짚 > 복사지 > 신문지 순으로 셀룰로오스 에탄올 전환특성이 높게 나타났다.

초음파처리에 의한 KOCC의 개질 (Modification of KOCC with Ultrasonic Wave Treatment)

  • Ultrasonic treatment of KOCC was tried to explore the possibility for improvement of KOCC quality as a raw material for making industrial packaging paper and paperboard. The effect of pH, stock consistencies and treatment times on the ultrasonic response of KOCC were investigated. WRV, apparent density, tensile index and burst index were improved as pH of KOCC slurry is increased. However highest tear index and stiffness were obtained at pH 8. It was also found that the highest WRV and strength properties could be obtained at 0.5% of KOCC consistency during ultrasonic treatment. WRV and most strength properties were improved with ultrasonic treatment time. It was found that ultrasonic treatment can be used as a useful mean for KOCC modificaton.

인공해수의 pH에 따른 강 용접부의 응력 부식균열거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stress Corrosion Cracking Behaviors for Weld Joint of Steel with Various pH Values in Synthetic Sea Water)

  • This paper was performed to study the utility of the SP(small punch) test and the AE(acoustic emission) test in the evaluation of SCC(stress corrosion cracking) susceptibility for parent metal and bond line of HT80 steel-weld joint by SAW(submerged arc welding) with the various pH values. The loading rate used was 3*10$^{-4}$ mm/min and the corrosive environment used was synthetic sea water during the SP test and the AE test. According to the test results, the SCC susceptibility of the parent metal was increased in the order of pH6.0, pH8.2 and pH10.0. On the other hand, the bond line showed almost the same high SCC susceptibility in all pH concentrations. Synthetically, from the results of the SCC susceptibility, the macro- and micro-SEM observation, the microfracture behaviors by AE test and the relationship between SCC susceptibility and displacement at incipient failure, .delta.$_{i.f-AE}$, it can be concluded that the SP test and the AE test are the good test methods to evaluate the SCC susceptibility for parent metal and bond line of the weld joint with the change of environmental factors.

구상흑연주철재의 마멸-부식특성에 미치는 pH의 영향 (The Effect on the Wear-Corrosion Behavior of Ductile Cast Iron in the Various pH Environments)

  • This paper reports the studies on the wear-corrosion behavior of ductile cast iron in the various pH environments. In the variety of pH solutions, corrosion and wear-corrosion loss of GCD 600 were investigated. Also, the anodic polarization test of GCD 600 using potentiostat/galvanostat was carried out. And rubbed surface of GCD 60 using scanning electron micrographs after immersion and wear-corrosion test was examined in the environment of various pH values. The main results are as following In alkali zone, the wear-corrosion loss of GCD 600 increases, but corrosion loss decreases. The unevenness and crack of wear-corrosion surface in neutral zone becomes duller than that in alkali zone. As the corrosive environment is acidified, wear-corrosion behavior of GCD 600 with passing immersion time becomes sensitive.

  • In this paper, an Adaptive Nonlinear Constrained Model Predictive Control (ANCMPC) is presented for a pH control in a fed-batch bio-reactor. The pH model is represented with Hammerstein Model. The static nonlinear part of Hammerstein model is described with the static pH model, and the dynamic linear part of the Hammerstein model is described with the CARIMA model. The parameters of the CARIMA model is estimated on-line with the input and output measurements of the system using a recursive least squares type of identi�cation algorithm. The e�ectiveness of the proposed controller is shown through simulations.

  • This Paper deals with the headlamp lens surface temperature distribution of p/c headlamp using the three categories of H4 halogen bulbs. Glass is gradually replaced by P/C for the lens material off vehicle headlamp due to the weight reduction and stream lined body of a vehicle. With this trend, the newly established standards for a headlamp with a P/C lens in Europe requires that the heat generated by a bulb should not distort the lens surface. Also the requirements fur the bulb of a headlamp are being enforced in U.S.A & Europe. However, such requirements are not established yet in Korea. By using three kinds (60/55w, 100/90w, 130/90w) of H4 halogen bulbs in this experiment, the surface temperature distribution and Max. temperature on the lens were measured. The results of this study implies the necessity of requirement fur the bulb off headlamp.

  • This paper have been studied fabrication and characteristics of disposable pH sensor using MEMS technology. The sensor has two open-well structure, the container for the internal electrolyte and electrode were formed by anisotropically etching a silicon substrate. unlike currently used KCI saturated solution, the structure was introduced hydrogel which take an advantage of miniaturization, bulk product, a low price. PU and CA/TP used to measurement ion detection, one is reference membrane and the other is pH. fabricated sensor is encapsulated entirely with epoxy, finally sensor was estimated various ion sorts and pH ranges.

  • The document is a white paper on Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography (HILIC) analysis method development. HILIC is a type of chromatography that uses an organic/aqueous mobile phase and a polar stationary phase. In HILIC, water is a strong solvent, and unlike in Reversed Phase Liquid Chromatography (RPLC), increasing the proportion of water in the mobile phase reduces the retention time of the analyte. The paper discusses when to consider HILIC analysis methods, the advantages of HILIC, and the challenges often encountered due to the lack of understanding of HILIC mechanisms compared to RPLC. It also provides a systematic flowchart for intelligent solutions for HILIC analysis method development, which includes a three-step approach for chromatography analysis method development. The first step involves gathering as much information as possible about the analyte (e.g., pKa, log P, log D). The second step involves analyzing the sample under different pH conditions using three HILIC columns in either isocratic or gradient mode to identify the suitable column/pH combination for the analyte. The paper emphasizes that the selection of the appropriate stationary/mobile phase combination, based on the differences between the HILIC stationary phases and the mobile phase pH, can provide high selectivity in the analysis.   • 본 논문에서는 전자와 정공의 이온화 계수로부터 4H-SiC를 위한 유효 이온화 계수를 cㆍE/sup m/의 형태로 추출하였고, 이 유효 이온화 계수를 이용하여 4H-SiC p/sup +/n 접합에서의 항복시 임계 전계와 항복 전압을 위한 해석적 표현식을 유도하였다. 해석적 항복 전압 및 항복 전계 결과는 10/sup 15/㎝/sup -3/∼10/sup 18/㎝/sup -3/의 농도 범위에서 실험 결과와 비교하여 오차 범위 10% 이내로 잘 일치하였다.
