Background: In Iran, breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer in women and a major public health problem. Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out to determine knowledge on breast cancer and breast self-examination (BSE) practices of 384 females living in the city of Hamadan, Iran. A purposive sampling method was adopted and data were collected via face-to-face interviews based on a validated questionnaire developed for this study. Results: Among respondents 268 (69.8%) were married and 144 (37.5%) of the respondents reported having a family history of breast cancer. One hundred respondents (26.0%) claimed they practiced BSE. Level of breast cancer knowledge was significantly associated with BSE practice (p=0.000). There was no association with demographic details (p<0.05). Conclusion: The findings showed that Iranian women's knowledge regarding breast cancer and the practice of BSE is inadequate. Targeted education should be implemented to improve early detection of breast cancer.
Anxiety is a common preoperative problem in cesarean section candidates. Nonpharmacologic anxiety control has been demonstrated to be more suitable in pregnant women. The current study was a randomized, single-blind clinical trial which evaluated the effect of acupressure on preoperative C-section anxiety. In this study, 60 patients facing surgery were randomly divided into two groups of 30 patients each. Those patients in the intervention group received simultaneous acupressure at the Yintang and HE-7 acupoints for 5 minutes before surgery, and patients in the control group received intervention at a sham acupoint. The anxiety level of patients was preoperatively assessed twice using the Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. The mean anxiety scores of the two groups were shown to be insignificantly different before the intervention (p = 0.859), whereas a significant difference between the mean anxiety scores of the two groups was observed after the intervention (p = 0.001), suggesting that acupressure reduced the anxiety of patients before surgery.
Hypomyelinating leukodystrophy type 2 (HLD2), is an inherited genetic disease of the central nervous system caused by recessive mutations in the gap junction protein gamma 2 (GJC2/GJA12). HLD2 is characterized by nystagmus, developmental delay, motor impairments, ataxia, severe speech problem, and hypomyelination in the brain. The GJC2 sequence encodes connexin 47 protein (Cx47). Connexins are a group of membrane proteins that oligomerize to construct gap junctions protein. In the present study, a novel missense mutation gene c.760G>A (p.Val254Met) was identified in a patient with HLD2 by performing whole exome sequencing. Following the discovery of the new mutation in the proband, we used Sanger sequencing to analyze his affected sibling and parents. Sanger sequencing verified homozygosity of the mutation in the proband and his affected sibling. The autosomal recessive inheritance pattern was confirmed since Sanger sequencing revealed both healthy parents were heterozygous for the mutation. PolyPhen2, SIFT, PROVEAN, and CADD were used to evaluate the function prediction scores of detected mutations. Cx47 is essential for oligodendrocyte function, including adequate myelination and myelin maintenance in humans. Novel mutation p.Val254Met is located in the second extracellular domain of Cx47, both extracellular loops are highly conserved and probably induce intramolecular disulfide interactions. This novel mutation in the Cx47 gene causes oligodendrocyte dysfunction and HLD2 disorder.
In supervised learning, labeling of all data is essential, and in particular, in the case of object detection, all objects belonging to the image and to be learned have to be labeled. Due to this problem, continual learning has recently attracted attention, which is a way to accumulate previous learned knowledge and minimize catastrophic forgetting. In this study, a continaul learning model is proposed that accumulates previously learned knowledge and enables learning about new objects. The proposed method is applied to CenterNet, which is a object detection model of anchor-free manner. In our study, the model is applied the knowledge distillation algorithm to be enabled continual learning. In particular, it is assumed that all output layers of the model have to be distilled in order to be most effective. Compared to LWF, the proposed method is increased by 23.3%p mAP in 19+1 scenarios, and also rised by 28.8%p in 15+5 scenarios.

A novel robust $H_{\infty}$ switching tracking control design method with disturbance observer is proposed for the near space interceptor (NSI) with aerodynamic fins and reaction jets. Initially, the flight envelop of the NSI is divided into small subregions, and a slow-fast loop polytopic linear parameter varying (LPV) model is proposed, to approximate the nonlinear dynamic of the NSI, based on the Jacobian linearization and Tensor-Product (T-P) model transformation approach. A disturbance observer is then constructed, to estimate the modeled disturbance. Subsequently, based on the descriptor system method, a robust switching controller is developed, to ensure that the closed-loop descriptor system is stable with a desired $H_{\infty}$ disturbance attenuation level. Furthermore, the outcome of the proposed switching tracking control problem is formulated as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.

The problem ofinstability of laminated circular cylindrical shell under the action of torsio or lateral pressure is investigated. The analysis is based on the Sander's theory for finite deformations of thin shell. The buckling is elastic for thin compoisite shell nad the geometry is assumed to be free of initial imperfections. The equilibrium equations are obrained by usitn the p[erturbation technique. Solution procedure is based on the Galerkin mehtod. The computer program for numerical results is made for several stacking sequence, length-to-radius ratio, and radius-to-thickness ratio. The numerical results of buckling load are present.
Neospora caninum is a coccidian parasite of animals. It is a major pathogen for cattle and dogs and it occasionally causes clinical infections in horses, goats, sheep, and deer. Domestic dogs are the only known definitive hosts for N. caninum. It is one of the most efficiently transmitted parasite of cattle and up to 90% of cattle in some herds are infected. Transplacental transmission is considered the major route of transmission of N. caninum in cattle. Neospora caninum is a major cause of abortion in cattle in many countries. To elicit protective immunity against abortion in cows that already harbor a latent infection is a major problem. This paper reviews information on biology, diagnosis, epidemiology and control of neosporosis in animals.
Mirror symmetry for del Pezzo surfaces was studied in [3] where they suggested that the mirror should take the form of a Landau-Ginzburg model with a particular type of elliptic fibration. This argument came from symplectic considerations of the derived categories involved. This problem was then considered again but from an algebro-geometric perspective by Gross, Hacking and Keel in [8]. Their construction allows one to construct a formal mirror family to a pair (S, D) where S is a smooth rational projective surface and D a certain type of Weil divisor supporting an ample or anti-ample class. In the case where the self intersection matrix for D is not negative semi-definite it was shown in [8] that this family may be lifted to an algebraic family over an affine base. In this paper we perform this construction for all smooth del Pezzo surfaces of degree at least two and obtain explicit equations for the mirror families and present the mirror to dP2 as a double cover of ℙ2.

Control charts are generally used for process control, but the role of traditional control charts have been limited in case of a contaminated process. Traditional $\bar{x}$ control charts have not been activated well for such a problem because of trying to control processes as center line and control limits changed by the contaminated value. This paper is to propose robust $\bar{x}$ control charts which is considering a location parameter in order to respond to contaminated process. In this paper, we consider $\bar{x}_{\alpha}$, that is trimmed rate; typically ten percent rate is used. By comparing with p, ARL value, the responding results are decided. The comparison resultant results of proposed two control charts are shown and are well contrasted.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of sleep problems in Korean elementary school children and the differences in sleep problems elated to their school grade and gender. Methods : One public elementary school in Dae-gu, Korea as randomly selected. And, parents who agreed to participate this study were asked to complete a modified version of Tucson Children's Assessment of Sleep Apnea screening questionnaire (TuCASA). Results: The most common sleep problem was 'falling asleep in vehicle (44.2%)' and the prevalence rate of this problem differed by school grade. The prevalence rate of falling asleep while watching TV before 8 P.M. (8.0%), daytime fatigue (21.9%) and nocturnal enuresis during the past 6 months (5.3%) were significantly differed by school grade. The prevalence rate of falling asleep while doing home work, falling sleep during a lesson, snoring and bruxism were 12.6%, 1.0%, 26.7% and 13.2% respectively. Although these rates did not show any differences between grades, snoring as more in boys and daytime fatigue was more in girls. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that many elementary school children may have various sleep problems. Lower grade elementary schoolers had sleep problems which related to euro-developmental factors, whereas higher grade elementary schoolers had sleep problems related to sleep deprivation and stress. Finally, more female schooler showed signs of fatigue or sleepiness than male schoolers.
